Cannot create new mailbox folder on my mac.
I am trying to add a new mailbox folder and gives me error cannot create on your mac? What is this all about?
Apparently, Mail has a bug that causes ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes to sometimes be a file instead of a folder, and that prevents Mail from creating any mailboxes there.
Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:

After having fixed all the filesystem issues, if any, proceed as follows:
1. Quit Mail if it’s running.
2. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/.
3. Locate Mailboxes. If it’s a file instead of a folder, move it to the Trash.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder, i.e. ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder. -
Want to create a new mailbox folder. How do I do it
My little secret (pjl123) is to utilise the Drafts folder as I suspect that for most of the time there is very little, if anything, in it.
Open the email you want to file separately/keep. Click Forward, enter any email address, then delete it (the address), click Cancel and then click Save Draft. It works a treat. This is not theory. I use it for any special email I want to keep.
Admittedly, it has it's limitations but Fluffy ruffles it would seem to do what you want in the circumstances. -
Is it me or is it not possible to create a new folder for bookmarks?
I can add bookmark to current folders, but no feature to add a new folder?In Safari. Pull up your saved bookmarks (not create a new one). When up, click edit. New Folder button will be in bottom right after that. In Edit mode of saved bookmarks you can create new folders and reassign saved bookmarks to the new folders you make (and move up and down).

Creating new DCIM folder for iOS photos?
Hi all
I've started a regular backup regime on my ipad and iphone of photos direct to my PC. Basically I copy from device to my PC's HDD via Windows Explorer.
I noticed about 5 folders under DCIM on there so I copied them and deleted the 4 oldest on my iPhone so that I still have a running folder of current few months of photos.
But lately I noticed the one folder I still have left on my iPhone is getting bigger and bigger and no new folder is being created.
This has now grown to about 10GB...
What I'd like is to be able to have regular new folders created so I can clean out the older photos in one hit.
I thought I'd do a wipe and restore on my iphone to see if it will change things.. But what it did was create another folder with a different name and all 10GB of photos still under there..
Seems this file system has a mind of its own..
Anyone explain how it works and whether there's a way to force it to create and store photos under a new folder on demand?

Whenever I create an image within Fireworks CS4, I do so by following this procedure:
Image Preview > Export (and then select either .jpg or .gif).
If I want to place the image (to be named filename.jpg) within the following local directory:

...it will instead place it here:
My Documents/Projects/acme/images/images/filename.jpg

Does the File name field have the correct jpeg/gif extension?
Does the Export field have Images Only option set?
Most importantly: is the Put Images in Subfolder checkbox checked or unchecked?
One possibility is that HTML & Images is set for the export type, in which case the Put Images in Subfolder checkbox might be checked by default.

If you haven't done so, try Tabs. From the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/Preferences and select the Tabs tab. You can right or control click to create a new tab.

Crystal Report 2011 SP4 APPCrash on Create New Connection
Hi Guys!
I've experience a problem with Crystal Reports 2011 for SAP B1 9.0 PL11. CR crashes everytime I create new connection folder.
I'm running Windows 8.1 x64.Hi Pieterjan,
CR 2013 for B1 can be downloaded from Software Download Center : https://websmp106.sap-ag.de/support
Choose SAP Business One from menu "Software Downloads" > expand from left side "SAP Business One Products" > Installations > SAP CRYSTAL REPORTS FOR B1 > CRYSTAL REPORTS 2013 FOR B1
Just keep in mind that, to make CR preview in B1 works fine, please check if correct CR runtime (.NET 32bit or 64bit) is installed. 32bit client will install 32 bit runtime automatically and same for 64 bit.
To make SAP Business One connection and Add ins menu works, please make sure correct version of Integration Package together with correct BOE runtime are installed. Install Integration Package will install BOE runtime automatically. ( We only need 32bit BOE runtime in CR for B1). Of course you can also install them seperately.
We have relevant Note 1815476 to explain this.

Problems with New Burn Folder and burning discs
Hello, I find that my mini doesn't wish to burn discs. If I Create New Burn Folder and dump stuff into it, it won't accept the blank discs I insert as true blanks; I get a "insert blank disc" command. These are just standard cd-r and dvd-r discs. Nor is the Burn command available through the menus. And beyond that, once I have the disc in, the eject commands are disabled! I can't get the disc out.
The only way I've been able to burn is to insert the blanks first, then drag stuff onto the disc; the Burn Folders just don't work and then I can't even eject the dratted things. Can anyone comment or help---

HoustonFurthermore, if you get info on the burn folder it only will give the size of the aliases. Does anyone know how to find the actually size of all the contained files?

I cannot create new file (.xslx) inside a folder with right click.
I work with excel 2007 in window 7. Usually I create new files (.xlsx) by right click while I am inside a folder. But recently I have lost this opportunity. Now whenever I open a folder and want to create a new file (either .xlsx or .doc) I right click
there. But there I find neither excel file icon nor word file icon. Power point, Access, Publisher file icons can be found there at that time. I do not know how I have lost the opportunity. Being failed to create files inside a folder now I go to start button
or office button to create a new file.

I would agree with Repair step provided by Robert, this will rewrite all the registry keys into the computer. Please have a try and let us know the result.
Also, another quick way to rewrite all the registry keys and reregister the product is to run the problematic Office applications with "/regserver" switch:
Press Win + R and type "winword.exe /regserver" or "Excel.exe /regserver" in the blank box, then press
Enter.
You might also want to give this a try.
