Creating Permission Lists for an Annual Leave Calendar

Can Someone Help Please:
I currently have a SharePoint Annual Leave Calendar i have created when users enter the date onto the calendar which then emails the line managers requesting them.
I wanted to create permissions so all staff with contribute permissions for the calendar List can only edit their own items but the Line Manager who has owner rights to still be able to modify anyones items..
Is that possible? If so how?

Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to make the users can only be able to edit the events created by themselves in the calendar list.
I recommend to go to the List settings > Advanced settings > check Create items and edit items that were created by the user in Item-level Permissions.

    PS and VP1 are superusers in vanilla PeopleSoft.
    What application are you using, HCM, FSCM, Portal, CRM.
    Try logging in with user VP1 password VP1.
    or try running Portal Security Sync through menu PeopleTools, Portal, Portal Security Sync (if you can see this menu item and the process scheduler is running ...)

    I know system wont allow to create source list also but you saying system allow,thats the reason i tried practically.

    I have just migrated from BB. I was able to create distribution lists on the BB and have several in my Outlook. When I sync'd my new iPhone these lists did not get on my iPhone. Is there a way to either create distribution lists or have I missed something?

    No, you haven't missed anything. There is a 3rd party app called ContactTap that will let you e-mail an entire Contact Group, it was free last week.
    Alternatively, you can create groups and then store them as a single contact if you follow the instructions here:

  • Create change lists for HDCAM project without Cinema Tools?

    We have an HD project, shot on video, and are getting to final stages of mixing. Is there way to set a version, and then make changes and generate a change list? Needless to say, we haven't been using Cinema Tools (and the Export Change List process asks us to select a CT database). Is this only possible for film projects?

    Actually, I figured it out.
    1) Open Cinema Tools and create a new, blank database. Remember its name and where you saved it.
    2) Open your original sequence in FCP. Go to FIle - Export - Cinema Tools Film Lists. If it's a video project, you can ignore the film-specific fields (footage length, key numbers and the like), but make sure that "Save a Cinema Tools program file" is ticked. In the columns on the right, I have "Time", "Source Time" and "Clip name" added. When prompted, locate your database file.
    3) Export the file.
    4) Now, open the changed sequence in FCP. Go to File - Export - Cinema Tools Change List. Locate the Cinema Tools program file you saved earlier.
    You can select "Combine deletions" if you don't want to see separate edits across a multi-clip deletion. (ie, trim tail, delete clip, delete clip, trim head).
    The first few pages will probably be most useful for video projects, since they use timecodes; the other sections of the report seem to be based on key codes.

    For a small business website.
    I need to create 2 boxes on my "mailing list" page that visitors can type in 1. their name, 2. their email address.
    So far I can't figure out how to do this so that when this page comes up you can scroll over the box and the text cursor shows up for visitors to type details.
    I understand how to add a "subscribe" button with HTML code method as used for paypal buttons, and think this would be the same for a "subscribe" button?

    I worked it out! The whole mailing list form with boxes for name and email and "subscribe" button comes in one HTML code from your mailing list supplier! YAY!

  • Creating Picking list for 2 different Slocs

    Hello guys,
    I have a situation here:
    I have only one Warehouse # 200.
    I have two Slocs:
    Sloc:0001 linked to WM:200
    Sloc:0002 works at the IM level.
    I have two shipping points (0001 & 0002) for each Slocs as well.
    WM:200 sends the goods to both Slocs.
    We run VL10G and then VL06P.
    The issue is to ship out the Sloc 0002 goods before than the Sloc 0001.
    However it doesn't occur at all.
    0001 gets the picked items first and if there is any left over quantities then Sloc 0002 gets the rest.
    What would be the best Expert approach to make this happen?
    Any thrown idea will be appreciated greatly.

    To create an invoice list:
    Select the Billing screen.
    Depending on the number of billing documents that you want to include, you can choose one of two ways to create the invoice list. You can either
    · Select Invoice list Create and enter each billing document separately
    · Create a list for all billing documents that are relevant for the invoice list. You can then process the work list for invoice lists.
    This procedure shows you how to create the work list.
    Select Invoice list Edit work list.
    Enter your selection criteria and press ENTER.
    The system displays a list of billing documents that meet your selection criteria.
    Select the billing documents that you want to include in the invoice list and select Invoice list Save.
    You can also simulate creation of invoice lists via the work list for invoice lists. This is useful as a test option. The simulation also allows you to carry out a split analysis, which shows you why billing documents are written to different invoice lists (e.g. due to different payers).
    Prerequisites
    You can only process invoice lists if the following prerequisite data is defined by your system administrator in Customizing for Sales:
    Condition type RL00 (factoring discount) must be maintained and, if required, also the condition type MW15.
    An invoice list type must be assigned to each billing type that you want to process in invoice lists. The standard version of the SAP R/3 System includes two types of invoice lists: LR for invoices and debit memos, LG for credit memos.
    Copying requirements must be defined (for example, the payer, terms of payment and other fields that must be identical in the documents to be included in the invoice list)
    In addition, before you process an invoice list, you must maintain the following master data:
    A customer calendar must be defined, specifying the time intervals or dates on which invoice lists are to be processed.
    The customer calendar must be entered in the Billing Sales Area view of the customer master record.
    Pricing condition records for the condition type RL00 and, if necessary, (e.g. in Germany) the condition type MW15 must be maintained.
    Output condition records for condition types LR00 and RD01 must be created.

    Hi Experts,
    We have CRM 5.0 and I have tried to create distribution lists for
    mailsending.
    After defining a name and a folder (that is then created) for the
    list the recipient list insertion is a following task.
    I can search for partners of different type by F4 help but no
    matter the type of the partner searched - the type that is
    automatically entered to the lists recipents table is "shared
    distribution list". even though the desired type is among others
    in a list other values cannot be selected.
    Please help, is this a setting that can be undone or what might
    be a problem in the procedure that i use in creating a list?
    has anyone else had similar problems?

    i have received an answer from SAP:
    "The reason for the error is a wrong entry in table TBCS_RECIP. To removethis entry, please use the report which is entered in the description
    of note 735795 or delete the wrong entry direct on table TBCS_RECIP.
    After the run of the report or the deletion on table TBCS_RECIP you willnot find further the selection option 'Business Partner' on the F4 help."
    The entry was removed and for Lists business partners cannot be selected at all - as a standard. really sad endeed.

    Is it possible to create nested lists in Sharepoint 2013?
    My requirement is to create a list for some groups like (group1, group2,group3 etc..).
    This list will have 3 columns for group name, type and description.
    And when a group is selected I want to see another list in it with some columns like user properties.
    Is this possible? I am a SharePoint power user, so please excuse if this is an unusual question!

    You can't nest lists.
    However you can have lookup columns which bring data from other lists. This basic relational structure may grant what you want.
    Alternatively, Managed Metadata fields can be used to create a hierarchy several levels deep.

  • Source List for Material Group

    Hi All,
    How do I maintain a source list for a material group.? Since ME01 requires a material, I cannot create source list in this tranasction.
    The client want a the Source (for material Group) to be assigned automatically in PR assignment step.
    Again, within a material group there can be several infor records, For example:
    Mater Group: Office Supp.....I can have two infor rec for the same vendor....one with "Short Text" Notepad and another info rec with "Short Text": Paperclips. Or the second info record could be a different vendor also.
    How could the system know which one to assign as a source since it's the same material group (one for Notepads and the other for paperclips)??

    In SAP we have a choice of creating source list for a "Material Group ". Following is the method.
    You may have the outline agreements related to material group rather than a single specific material - For ex. outline agreement with a item category M( Material unknown) or      W ( material group).In doing so you can decide whether to exclude or include certain materials of the relevant material group by means of the source list.
    To create the source list for a material group proceed as follows.
    1) On the outline agreement overview screen, select the items for which you wish to enter the source list record & choose Item --> Maintain source list
    2) To exclude the particular material keep the "Exclusion" indicator set against a material with a validity period.

  • IOS 6 twitter integration - permission list mess

    ... not sure how it was on iOS 5, may be you could delete apps from the permission list for twitter. Now you can only turn them on or off. Okay the thing is that I could tweet from an app (lemonde.fr) using the integrated twitter interface in iOS without being prompted to allow it. Weirder is that I could tweet but still, the app doesn't appear in twitter's permission list on iOS, but it does in the allowed apps list in twitters's own web interface (from a PC's browser). And it does appear there as an app having been allowed from iOS, so there's no way to revoke it from there. This should be normal as one can only revoke access from twitter to iOS globally only. But again, why doesn't this app appear on iOS in the twitter settings permission list ???

    adding: forget about the permission prompt, if you wanna tweet from an app, it obvously means that you allow it. Remains that it should appear in twitter's permission list and it doesn't.
