Creation of Appointment letter

Hi to all..
I have to Create Appointment letter for HR.For that I have Created Infotype 9001 and Standard Object for Appintment letter.But i m not getting how to use that infotypes and Standard object in Smartform for displaying that letter,
i have checked some module pools like MPXXXX01 were created by system.how to handle these
Please help me to understand the procedure for Creating Appointment letter..

Hi Somnath,
I hope you have an idea about module pool programming as its based on the same.
Regarding the procedure steps
Create a infotype with some fields that u may want to show in the letter and want the end user to enter along with a field
of type PCLKEY
Now let the use enter the fields that can be captured in the letter. and when the use presses create letter the letter should appear
For this you may use function modules of sap script like INIT_TEXT , EDIT_TEXT inorder that the user edits the text directly.
After editing use when the person presses save you may call SAVE_TEXT.
And take the contents of the letter and save it in cluster with a key.
you may use the pernr/begda/endda/infotype/seqno for the key formation of the pclkey
and use import and export statements to export it to cluster.
You can also retrieve the letters from the import statement with the key stored in the infotype.

i want to tell you that we have to use hardcoded text in tabular format ,But i don't have any option in text module or standard text so that we can use in our form (SFP).
Please let me give another option.

Do we have a standard transaction to generate Appointment letter's? we have not implemented recruitment model in this implementation. Do we need to go for a custom development? Please advice.

In case of your not having implemented Recruitment Module, you would not be able to generate appointment letter.
If you are planning to generate an appointment letter at the end of a Personnel Action like Hiring, you may do so with user exits.
Using the Standard Transaction "SMARTFORMS", you can design the appointment letter which can be called at the end of the Personnel Action using the user exits.
You will need the help of an ABAPer for this

Create an 9000 series as Letters Infotype and assign it at the end of your Hiring action in PA40,so that after you have saved all details of the employee in Infotypes the system will have data for generating Appointment Letter.
In 9000 series IT create Generate Appointment letter Tab,so now you can have App letter.For this take help of an ABAP person.

Iphoto calendar creation won't let me make a calendar more than 12 months long even though I have chosen a 14 page calendar

In iphoto calendar creation, I have selected a 13 month calendar from December 2012-December 2013, wanting 13 pages. I have selected all my photos for the year and have started placing them in the Calendar. I'm at October and noticed that December is missing. Thought maybe i didn't request a 13 month calendar, but I have. Seems like the more months I want in the calendar, the end months keep dropping off. If i want a 14 month calendar starting in November 2012, then November and December 2013 are then gone. so....I changed it over and over trying to get the months back, but to no avail. I've created a new empty project calendar, requesting 13 months, and all 13 months are there. Problem is.....how do I get all the pictures from the old calendar over to the new ones without having to reselected 200 pictures again? Or is there a way to fix the original missing pages? Thanks.

Try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. If it doesn't then your current library is the culprit.
In that case make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #1, followed by #3 and then #4 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

how should i retrieve the letter from PLD to dunning letter levels?

Hi Subashini
You can get to the dunning terms from Administration > Setup > Business Partners > Dunning Terms, or select the Navigation Arrow next to Dunning Terms on the Payment Terms TAB of the BP master. You can also go to Administration > Setup > Business Partners > Dunning Levels.Then click on the PLD (Pencil) and select the letter you want to edit.
The dunning terms can be set up per customer or group of customers if there are multiple ways of treating customers. If not then you will only need 1 dunning term. On the dunning term, select the first row and choose the level letter for it (usually 1). Then set the parameters such as effective after (days) - based on due date. A new line will automatically be added as you tab through the columns. On the next row select the next level letter (usually 2) and so on. If you only need 3 levels for example, then you only need to change the PLD for the level letters selected.
The level letter will be selected based on the days over the due date and whether or not the BP has been dunned before. Under the accounting TAB of the BP Master, it will display the last dunning run date and level for each BP.

Creation of appointment, campaign,... generates ISP_D* queue

Hi all,
Does anyone has an idea why the system generates an ISP_D0000000000004 queue when an appointment, campaign, interaction log, ... is created.
And second question: is there a way to determine for which objects a queue is generated.
I thought the ISP_D queue was used to send stuff to the mapbox.
We do have a groupware site active for Lotus notes replication but there only appointments are replicated.
Little help, much appreciated.

Hello Tom,
Inbound ISP_D* queues will be created as a result of inbound CSA* queues which in turn are created whenever there's an edit made in activities, BPs etc.
After that filter conditions are read from table CMWC_MBA_FILTER which is mapped to the SPRO setting IMG under CRM->CRM Middleware and related Components->Server-Based Groupware Integration->Settings for Contacts (Business Partners)->Filter Condition for Business Partners Exchange with Groupware, and accordingly the data is sent to the Groupware site in the form of a queue ISP_OXXXXXXX.
The above example was taken for BPs, you can search for the spro settings for activities.

I need to extract the data from multiple tables from R/3. For that I am creating a datasource using RSO2. In this scenario do I need choose extraction from view ( IN rso2)& create a view combining these tables & use this in data source creation? Pls let me know the procedure. Could you pls also let me know when to use the option EXTRACTION BY FM (IN rso2)

Inbound delivery creation using VL31N

Hi All,
I could find that the message type DESADV, IDoc type DELVRY01 and process code DELS is used for creation of this.
Let me know if this is correct. When i checked in my system I could not find process code DELS. Do i need to do some additional settings to get this.
What is difference between IDOC type DELVRY01 and DELVRY03. Which one should be used.
Here the ASN received is triggering inbound delivery creation.
Please let me know on this.

Check in the correct set(Inbound messages).
DELVRY03 is the latest one. You should use it only.

What is the best program for editing and DVD creation?

I am looking for a software that allows me to create a DVD with menus,etc. I would prerfer to edit in iMovie and export my video to a DVD software. But if anyone knows of a better editing system with DVD creation possibilities please let me know!

Better is a very subjective term when it comes to editing and personal preferences play an important role. In any case on the Mac you have these choices:
• Buy iLife with iMovie and iDVD (Amazon, Ebay). This should be able to fulfill most needs.
• Get Adobe CS 6 with Premiere Pro and Encore DVD. Professional software with a learning curve if you come from iMovie
• Get Final Cut Pro X. Shouldn't be too difficult to learn for iMovie users but with very limited DVD authoring
Both have trial versions that you can check out. The cost for FCP X is much lower than that for CS 6.
On a side note, there is also Avid but I can't really say much about it having never used it.

Move files into folders based on EXIF Creation Date

Hi all,
Being a novice with Applescript I have read what I can find on this forum, but are not able to find exactly what I'm looking for. I think that the posting "Using AppleScript to create folders and place files in them" is the closest I get to what I want but I want to create the folders based on EXIF creation date.
Let me explain.
I have a folder that contains thousands of jpg, mp4, mov and avi files; all created by different cameras. I want to bring some order to this and place files in folders based on year, month and date that the file was created (the photo taken or the video captured). This date is stored in the EXIF creation date.
     Take all files in folder A
      foreach file find the EXIF creation date
      move each file into directory tree (at same location is ok) where toplevel is YEAR, next directory level is named accoring to EXIF creation date as MMDDYY
      if no EXIF creation date can be found, fallback to creation date (file property?)
      if no good date is found, leave file alone in folder A for manual sorting; do not use modification date as this may have been altered
     this would create a structure as

Well, technically that's correct, Frank, but the same could be said of much of AppleScript - the core functionality is limited, but there's a lot you can do.
For example, it's actually trivial to use Image Events get any given EXIF tag of an image:
set theFile to (choose file)
tell application "Image Events"
          set f to open theFile
          set cD to value of metadata tag "CreationDate" of f
close f
end tell
Now, cD will have the value of the CreationDate tag (assuming it exists, of course - you'll need to wrap this in a try/end try statement). Once you have that it shouldn't be too hard to extract the date components, work out the target directory name and move the file.

WE20 - Partner profile Creation

I am an FI consultant and working on task - generating the I docs for the Billing documents. We have configured the Out put determination for Billing documents.
I have to create the partner profile for the specified customer in WE20.
Do we have to maintain both Inbound and Out bound parameters?
