Creation of Credit memo in 3rd Party process

Hi,
Could you please explain about how to create Credit memo to the customer in Thirdy party process.
1. After final billing (F2) happened how can I create Credit memo request (Any specifi Doc type, with reference to what) and also Credit memo.
2. Let us take for an example, Initially 10 nos. has been despatched to the customer by vendor. The Vendor grants due to transit
damage/Quality rejection 01 no. has been found defect.
So I have to send Credit memo for 01 no. to the customer. (In this case F2- Billing has already been created for initial qty of 10 nos.).
This is my requirement. Anybody can expain the required process to create the Credit memo in detail-Step by step process.

credit memo request is a sales document used in complaints processing to request credit for a customer.
EXAMP--->
If the price calculated for the customer was too high (for example, with the wrong scaled prices or because a discount was forgotten), you can create a credit memo request. The credit memo request can be automatically blocked for checking. Once it has been approved, you can remove the block.
The system uses the credit memo request to create a credit memo.
the credit memo request(CR) Iis created ith referance to invoice based on configuration settings in vov8 and credit memo(g2)created refarance to credit memo request

    Coming to TASG Item category , i have to tell you How credit memo is created in Third party process
    I Am telling as per My knowledge
    Now create credit memo  ....Create credit memo Req  ( G2) with ref to Invoice not with Third party sales order
    While maintaining in VF01 Maintain Billing type G2S Only Not G2
    Coming to TASG Item cat in copy control we have to make Between TAS --TASG Item category level In the Sales document type to Billing document type source and Target doc.

    I have a doubt on how to update 3rd party process in to credit management.
    So far I know update group 000018 will help to update it in to credit management.
    But I already have 000012 in credit control area.
    Then how can I place two update group in to credit control area.

    I dont think you can have two update groups into same cr control area.. And whats the need of it..?
    By choosing which ever is needed for you business requirement, you can achieve the requirement.
    the descriptions of these update groups are self explanatory and you need to chose the one that suits ur requirement.
    What do you mean by thirdparty process? is it third party sales..?  if so there is always a sales order in 3rd party sales. Also you will have a customer bill too, select the update group accordingly to include open sales orders or / and open bills

  • Withholding Tax in FB75 Recording - Creation of Credit Memo

    Hi Xperts,
      Here I have one problem while Creating Credit Memo using BDC.
            - I am trying to write a BDC for transaction FB75 ( Creation of Credit Memo)
            - All things are going fine except Withholding Tax part.
            - Transaction FB75 have a Tab "Withholding Tax".
            - Here, there is a Table control with 6 rows.
            - While creating Credit Memo it populate this table control with Withholding  taxes.
            - The main task is,<b>Based on certain condition, I want to clear few Withholding tax values.</b>
            - If This table control has only 6 rows populated, then there is no orblem.
            - But in case of more then 6 withholding tax values i need to scroll down and process, however, that again we can do using p++ or P+ things.
            - Problem is, in this case we are not able to scroll down or page down which create a problem in accessing other rows.
            - What would b the solution......?

  • Document still appears on Billing Due List after creation of Credit Memo

    Hello everyone!
    I would like to seek your help in knowing the reason why documents in the Billing Due List dated on or before June 30, 2008 with billing type ZRJF would require three creations of Credit Memo before the delivery returns status will change from "being processed" to "completed." Please note that there was a configuration made on June 31, 2008 in the copy control of ZREF to ZRBO wherein the pos./neg. quantity of item cat ZRBO was changed from to (+).
    Moreover, what should I do with the documents in VF04 dated on or before June 30, 2008 that still appears after one creation of credit memo?

    Thanks for your prompt response. I checked the delivery return status and it is still "being processed" eventhough I have already created a credit memo for all the returned goods.
    I actually observe this in my documents dated on or before June 31, 2008. At that time, the copy control pos./neg. quantity was set to negative (-). Is this the reason why documents still appear in the billing due list? If so, what should I with these documents so it will no longer appear in the Billing Due List?

  • Creation of credit memo

    Hi
    I started creating a credit memo request. I filled all the item data. But the processing status is displayed as 'incorrect'. When i leave the tab ' reason for rejection' blank , i get the processing status as 'processed'. I dont understand the relation.
    When i try creating a memo(with request whose status is 'processed'), I am getting the status of memo also as 'incorrect'. I find the error message" order type ' credit memo request' cannot be used to create billing type 'credit memo'".
    I am not able to find a solution to overcome this and complete the creation of Credit memo.
    Pl suggest

    Hi,
    Kindly confirm weather it is Reason for rejection or Order reason which you are talking about.
    By the way to crate the memo both the order reason and the reason for rejection should be blank.
    Now check which docu type u r selecting for the credit memo request and credit memo.

  • MIGO in 3rd party process

    Hello Experts,
    In a dropshipment scenario, the Supplier will deliver the goods to the customer directly.
    Then the seller does a MIRO for the invoice received from the supplier.
    Then the seller does a MIGO goods receipt and then Goods Issue before Billing.
    May I know why is this done? What goods is received and what is issued?
    Or for the Seller, he does not need to process MIGO and Goods issue in 3rd party process?

    Hi Pascal
    In Third Part scenario, Goods Issue step will not be there at all. MIGO can be done and it is only logical (there is nophysical goods movement).
    To do Billing document, MIGO or goods issue is not mandatory. It can be controlled in two ways
    1. billing with reference to Sales Order, in this case as soon as sales order is saved, billing can be done.
    2. billing with reference to Sales Order depending on the Invoice Verification (MIRO) for qty invoiced by vendor, in this case billing can be done once the MIRO is completed.

  • Rebate Agreement credit memo - sold to party

    Hi all,
    Users settle rebate with VB(7 and then create credit memo to the customer.  Bill to party address is printing on the invoice form but they also need sold to party to be printed on the invoice.  In the credit memo bill to party and sold to party are the same. But the actual sale through where the rebate came has sold to party address.
    How to get the sold to party from sales document to the rebate credit memo? The agreement in the sales orders can be found in the field VBAK-KNUMA, but Iu2019m not sure how to get the sold to party information onto rebate credit memo.
    Any inputs please?

    Thanks for your time. The sales document number that comes from the agreement number in VBAK is the Rebate credit memo number but the actual sales document number. So Iu2019m afraid this wouldnu2019t work
    I have read somewhere that sold to party for agreement will be in field KOMG-KUNNR. Could anyone tell me how to extract it from KOMG? Do the developers know how to extract from it?

  • 3rd Party Process - Need to create DO

    Dear All,
    I'm trying to setup the 3rd party process for my current client. Here's my scenario.
    1. Create SO, which auto triggers PR. Using item category TAS, which is auto determined from material master item category group-standard
    2. Conver PR to PO, then PO appears in document flow.
    3. Perform MIGO, but I can't select my virtual location as a storage location. I've not receiving stock physically, as third party vendor will deliver direct to out customer. When I perform MIGO, I have goods receipt check.
    PROBLEM
    I need to be able to create delivery based on the SO initially created. But because we're unable to PGR into desired location, I can't create my DO. Anyway item category TAS is not regarded for delivery. I need to create my DO due to the shipment documents need to be generated.
    4. LIV, based on Goods receipt.
    Can anyone recomend whats the best approach for third party order, GR into a virtual location and be able to create my DO based on the virtual goods received.
    Any feedback is welcomed, thank you guys.

    Instead of third party scenario you can use Individual P.O process
    In 3rd party you are determining item category TAS, instead determine TAB then you can able to to do GR and then create DO.

    I have created a sales order for 3rd party procesing and then created a PO with ref to PR. And now i am trying to create an invoice to customer , but my question is can i go head do the Invoice without doing GR , because we are not doing delivery , please advise.

    This really depends on the settings maintained for the third party item category.
    Go to item category details using t.code VOV7.
    Check the value assigned to the field billing relevance. If value F is assigned, then only after accounting processed the vendor invoice (against the third party purchase order), you can create the billing document against the sales order.
    The standard setting assigns value F to this field.

  • Credit Check with Third Party Process

    Hi Gurz,
    I know about third party process but my problem is with credit check of the customers.
    If customer has not got enough credit limit to process the order in normal senario credit controller has to manually release the order as system blocks it. In third party process system will give you warning message when saving sales order about customer credit limit but allows you to save sales order. Once saving sales order it authomatically creates Purchase Requisition. From PR purchasing creates P.O. with out knowing about customer credit limit issue. and so on. In other words goods supplied to customer even though credit limit has exceeded. This user don't know untill raising the invoice to the customer which is too late.
    Can we stop creating Purchase requisition or block purchase requistion for credit check ? or there are better way of handling the process for credit check?

    Following is the details of the note;

    The delivery block in a sales order does not prevent the generattion of the purchase requisition in a third-party or individual purchase order item. Regardless of the Customizing settings in the delivery block, the system confirms the TAB or TAS item and generates the purchase requisition.

    In the source code of the user-requirement, program a check for the delivery block which, if necessary, triggers an ERROR_EXCEPTION which prevents the generation of the purchase requisition.
    You can use the existing check for the credit block as a template.

    Diagnosis
    You are entering a purchase transaction involving a vendor to whom a plant has been assigned. Normally, this will involve the transfer of materials from one plant to another.
    This process necessitates a delivery and a billing document in the SD system. The PO appears directly in the delivery due list of the issuing plant (vendor) and therefore does not need to be transmitted.
    However, an item with the procurement form "third-party" (triangular business deal) cannot appear in the delivery due list.
    Procedure
    An item with the procurement form "third-party" can only be ordered from vendors without a plant assignment.
    Can any one help? how to rectify. Thanks in advance.
