Creative's NON supp

Is everyone else as frustrated with Creative's responses as I am? After going through all the forum postings, Creatives entire Knowlege base, your user manual, online help and everything else, you finally send them an e mail about your problem. Apparently, they don't actually read your e mails. They must have some kind of program that scans the incoming e mails looking for "keywords" and then their program generates an e mail back to you, referring you back to their knowledge base, which gives you the basic procedures on how to do something that contains those keywords. The whole reason you sent them the e mail was because those basic procedures DID NOT WORK and if someone had actually read your e mail they would have known that you had already been through all that stuff. They treat us all like ididots. It is insulting to say the least.

I had previously loaded and sync'd my Outlook Calendar, Contacts and tasks to my ZenV Plus - so I know the procedure to do it. But then I decided that I really didn't need my calendar and tasks on it and they were just taking up space I could use for Music etc. so I could not find a procedure to just delete one of those items, so I used the clean option and removed everything. Then I tried to just put my Contacts back on it the original procedure does not work. I keep getting a message that says RPC server is not available. Of course, I put all of this into my e mail to their customer support - And what did I get back? . ... the Article on how to sync Outlook. Not a word in that article about the RPC server message.

    E' da ieri che la mia creative cloud non fa la sincronizzazione, riesco a vedere le app installate ma non posso fare la sincronizzazione dei file e soprattutto non posso usare i font e questo è un grosso problema dato che devo stampare dei lavori.

    quando apro adobe creative cloud non mi compare niente ma solo una schermata bianca, ho provato ad disinstallare e r-istallarla piu volte ma niente, chi mi puo aiutare??

  • Creative cloud non si installa errore 50

    creative cloud funzionava regorlamente fino a venerdi scorso, ho fatto doppio click per apprila e a chiesto di aggiornarla da quel momento non funziona più.
    l'o disinstallata e poi installata di nuovo ma si blocca a metà installazione e mi dà errore 50. conclusione mi serve prelude ma non posso installarlo perchè creative cloud non si installa

  • Adobe creative cloud non funziona

    Buongiorno, quando viene lanciato creative cloud il programma si apre normalmente, ma non compaiono le app nè la possibilità di fare il login, la schermata è semplicemente vuota.
    Nel frattempo premiere CC ha smesso di funzionare poichè risulta esser uscito dalla versione di prova.
    Controllando il mio account sul sito di adobe però l'abbonamento risulta in regola ed i pagamenti tutti regolari.
    Come posso fare per risolvere il problema?
    Mi auguro riusciate a rispondermi il prima possibile perchè è davvero urgente.

    Close the Creative Cloud application if it's running.
    Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
    Rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db
    Launch Creative Cloud

  • Creative and Vista supp

    Recently I upgraded (clean install actually) to Windows Vista.
    I have a Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic, which I bought about an year ago. I have Creative Inspire T7700 speakers hooked up to the X-Fi.
    I'm really frustrated with the Vista support. I should have never upgraded if I knew there is such a lack of support.
    Of course I installed the latest drivers, I installed ALCHEMY, Mediasource and etc.
    What really disappointed me is that I made a serious downgrade instead of a proper upgrade once I tried adjusting my X-Fi. All my favorite functions were gone:
    1. The Volume Panel icon in the tray is gone.
    2. The new Volume Panel is extremely slow.
    3. The THX Console is not working. (what is the point of having a THX logo on the volume panel if you can't actually calibrate your speakers !) e.g. Clicking on the rear right speaker in the THX console activates the front right speaker (in the volume panel it works correctly). Calibration doesn't work at all. The only thing that works in the console is the Bass Management.
    4. The setting for adjusting DD and DTS output to 7. speakers is now gone.
    5. There is NO DTS Neo plugin for creative MediaSource.
    6. The nice DOLBY Digital / DTS logo that used to appear on the lower right corner when playing such content is gone.
    7. Applying EAX effects requires to restart all the applications currently using the sound card (Otherwise sound just disappears)
    8. No DVD-Audio. I have only album, though this really angers me.
    and many others... such as emulation of SPDIF out and etc.. and not to mention all the applications such as Vienna SoundFont Studio, the Karaoke Player... all gone.
    When is Creative going to release proper drivers and applications for Vista I mean whats the point in having an $50 X-Fi card when you can do all the things with an ordinary $0 7. sound card It has been more than an year now since Microsoft released Vista. People will start upgrading to Vista, and yes, customers won't be pleased with the so-called "upgrade".
    And yes, I have the latest drivers, I have the latest software from Creative, Windows is configured to use 7. Speakers. It was all working fine under XP.
    This is NOT the sound card I bought.

    Or moreover, the lack thereof.
    First you come out with the Zen Vision player with documentation so sparse that sellers like Amazon.com are asking for additional user manuals to post [at least they were when I bought mine].
    Then for customer support you DON"T have an 800 number. Not good, especially considering how long AND how unresolved my contacts are with you.
    After my last lengthy call and suggestions that didn't work here I am still needing to call again to get something to work that hasn't in spite of many phone calls and plenty of expensi've long distance airtime [because you are so cheap as to not have an 800 number - not to mention it would be nice if I was given a real "FIX" - or better yet just never had the problem.
    Ironically on the day of my last call to you I needed to call Canon for support. THEY HAVE AN 800 NUMBER, AND HAD NO WAIT. HECK, BEST OF ALL THEY ARE SHIPPING ME A NEW UNIT TO SWAP OUT, EXPRESS PAID POSTAGE AT THEIR EXPENSE.
    Oh, and by the way, when I was calling you abvout my last (unresolved) problem I was having to ask what the screw that had fallen out was for. Better yet, on a player treted as gently as they come what the heck is a screw doing falling out??
    Count me as not ever buying another Creative Labs product. Too bad, I had liked my last one. But then again it worked!

  • Have Adobe Standard CS 5 (Student), and would like to upgrade to Creative Cloud (Non-Student) - won't accept my serial number for special pricing for existing users

    I currently use Adobe Standard CS 5. It was bought with the Education discount. I would like to upgrade to Creative Cloud and see that they have special pricing for existing customers that use past versions of Creative Suite. I am no longer in Education, so I will have to buy a full version. This is fine, but it won't accept my serial number for the discounted pricing. Is there something else I should be doing?

  • Old updater shows one update, Creative Cloud none

    From time to time the old Adobe Updater appears in my menubar, notifying me about one available update. Clicking it takes me to the Creative Clown dropdown panel. In that panel no available updates are shown. I made this annotated screenshot to clarify:

    Thanks for your feedback. I and a few others tried the application restart method and it worked for us. There may be another service that those applications spawn and they are not shutting down consistently.
    I certainly agree that the current behaviors of the updater programs need improvement, and believe that's shared by the folks working on developing the applications. I don't know the technical reasons behind what's currently happening though. I've been reacting to user feedback and trying to find workaround solutions for the near term. My 'day' job is on Photoshop specific needs, but I don't shy from looking out broader and helping where I can.
    I will point this thread out to the Creative Cloud application development team. The Bridge update roll out may also be contributing, but I can't say for sure.

    hello,?i own an older (2003) creative mp3 player that is going to need repaired. i can't find anywhere on their website that offers this service or even a link to be able to ask them this type of question in an email. i can only find where they let you email them about warranty returns/status. any help would be appreciated. btw, my specific player is a nomad jukebox zen xtra 40 gb. thanks!

  • Creative Cloud (Non local Admin)

    We currently have users that are using Creative cloud but an issue comes up when we remove them from being local admins.  Is there a way to use this product without being a local admin and have the apps tab working as well?

    As far as I know, Cloud programs require Admin accounts to run... but, since someone from Adobe may know more...

  • Non riesco ad installare adobe creative cloud perchè mi da sempre erorre 50

    ieri apro creative cloud per scaricare lightroom cc, ma mi chiedeva di aggiornare il creative cloud, ho dato ok ma dopo un pò mi diceva che l'aggiornamento era impossibile perche si era riscontrato un errore chiamato errore 50. ho pulito tutto con il cleaner tool adobe e ho riprovato ad installare il creative cloud. non è stato possibile perchè veniva sempre fuori errore 50. C'è una soluzione per ovviare a questa cosa? Grazie in anticipo a tutti coloro che vorranno aiutarmi.

  • Creative Cloud Enterprise - Licensing Restrictions?

    I have Creative Cloud Enterprise installation and I am encountering problems with opening projects and the sound on video files.
    I get two different errors. 
    The first occurs when I am opening up a project, whether it is saved on a different computer or the same computer, the problem still occurs. And I won't be able to open the project.
    Attached is the screenshot of the error message.
    "This project contained a sequence that could not be opened. No sequence preview preset file or codec could be associated with this sequence type."
    This happens regardless of where the project is saved.  I've even created a project imported footage into a sequence, made sure the sequence settings matched and were correct. Saved the project and closed out.  When I try to open the saved project again, it pops up with this error message and will not let me open up the project file.  The only workaround is that I have to create a new project and import the old project, then I import selected sequences.
    The second issue occurs when I'm working in a project with AVCHD files.  I have footage from cameras that record AVCHD (Panasonic AF100) and when I import footage, it does not play any of the camera audio, but the video plays normal.  There's an error message in the bottom right corner that brings up the following error message:
    I made sure the AF100 was recording in LPCM audio also.  This does not happen when working with dSLR footage recording as quicktime movie files as in a Canon dSLR (T3i).  So it might be just an issue with AVCHD (or MTS) files.
    I have my personal subscription to Creative Cloud (non-enterprise version), and I don't have these issues.  The same project file works flawlessly on my personal Premiere, but when I move to my work computers, it has the errors.  We have also tried a fresh install of the Adobe CC Enterprise on a clean install of OSX on a Mac Pro 3,1 but it has the exact same issues.
    I'd like to know if anyone out there who's working with the enterprise/volume licenses that have encountered these issues, or may know what's going on.
    Premiere Pro CC (7.2.2), and we are under the Creative Cloud enterprise edition.  We are using Mac Pro 5,1, 6-core 3.33ghz, 14GB memory and ATI Radeon 5870

    I asked the IT guy in our department and he says that we only received one serial number under the Adobe LWS account.  He was the person that dealt directly with the Adobe LWS people to get our Adobe CC Enterprise software and activation.  He's going to check the IT guys for the university to see if those people have some other serial number, too.  Would we see the two different serial numbers in our Adobe LWS account?
