Credit card problems since the switch to Citibank!

I'm a senior who's used your card services for years now. I've never had any problems until the very sudden switch to Citibank.
Since then customer service has been horrible. Before the switch I made some purchases with the deferred interest charge. I did not receive statements after the switch. I wasnt even aware there was a switch in place. and I tried in vain to find out how much was left to pay before I got hit with a huge interest charge.
No one was ever able to help me! And I wasn't receiving statements!
So then I got hit with over 400 dollars in interest charges! I've never missed a payment, I've always paid off before the interest charge but thanks to this switch I got confused and miscalculated my payments.
I'm very disappointed with Citibank, with the way best buy handled the switch, and with customer service on both ends.
Im considering paying off the account and closing it immediately and never purchasing from you at all in the future.

Dealing with credit cards and credit card companies can definitely be frustrating at times, I’m sorry to hear that you are having some issues getting assistance from Citibank with the Best Buy credit card.
While the Best Buy logo is on the card, the financing and billing is handled by Citibank, so we have very little control over any issues that come up regarding your card.  However, we can try to contact them on your behalf as an advocate for your concerns.  Please keep in mind that I cannot guarantee a specific outcome to that contact.

    My younger brother had the same problem. You have to go into settings, app store, details and then change your credit card details to none. If there is no none option, you will have to use a different apple id.

  • How can I delete my credit card info from the apps store?

    Ever since I put my credit card info into the system it won't let me download anything even if it's free. It keeps saying to verify card info and when I do it ask for the card security number but when I put it in then it says it's not right. I don't know what else to do besides delete the card info but I'm not sure how to do that. I have been downloading free stuff with no problem until last Sunday I put my card info in to buy something and it let me make my purchase with no problem and now I'm trying to download free stuff and it keeps wanting me to verify my credit card info and telling me it's wrong info.     I don't mind having my card info on there but now I can't download anything and it's frustrating. All it ask for is the card security number and when I put it in it says it's invalid. So now while I'm trying to delete it, it just won't let me. The visa part stays checked all the time and I can't unmarked it.     I am developing a test stand to test tires. We have LabView 7.1 and the SCXI chassis with an 1121 transducer card. I am trying to count the rate and total number of revolutions made by the tire. The signal is acquired from a 12V-proximity switch that is actuated once per RPM. The tire turns at 1,000 RPM or a little more.
    The signal will have to go through a 100-foot cable to get to the LabView chassis, will this be a problem?
    How do I get the 1121 card to read the switch and make it a 1 or 0 to count pulses?
    Will LabView be able to read this many pulses per second?
    How do I get MPH and a RPM reading out of it?

    Hi James,
    Since you are cabling your DAQ board to an SCXI chassis with an 1121, you will not be able to use your counters without additional hardware.
    The 1121 is an analog input signal conditioning module. It performs filtering and attenuation to help measure analog signals. What it does not have is access to your board's counter pins.
    In order to use your counter pins you will need to get the necessary hardware. You have two options:
    1) Buy and SCB-68. This is a breakout box that will cable directly to your DAQ board replacing your SCXI chassis. You can connect your signals directly to your counter with this. However, I would advise against this because your application has a 12 volt signal. This will overload the 5v maximum voltage for your counter pins.
    2) Buy a 1180 feedthrough panel. This will allow you to use all of your DAQ board's functions with the SCXI chassis. Withouth the 1180 feedthrough panel, the SCXI-1121 is the only thing connected to your DAQ board. Since the 1121 only performs conditioning on the analog inputs, that is all you can access. The other pins cannot be used (no access). With the 1180 feedthrough panel, you can put a connector block on and access all of your other pins (including the counter pins). Again, I would advise against this since your 12 volt signal will overload your counter pins.
    My suggestion would be to perform an analog input task. Set up your 1121 in MAX and use a LabVIEW shipping example. In the shipping example select an analog input channel from your SCXI-1121 module. Set the appropriate voltage range and take some measurements. Once your signal is connected and you can read it using an analog input example you are half way there.
    Take the analog input shipping example and modify it to perform frequency analysis on the voltage readings. You can simply wire the data from the DAQmxRead VI into one of the frequency analysis VI's (noted in my first post). The output if that VI will give you the frequency of your signal.

    My account has been hacked and my credit card charged by the hacker and all Skype has to say about it, is that I need to wait 72 hours for them to look at my query? I cannot log into my account. I have filled in the support form, but I haven't received an email notification from Skype that I have submitted it. I'm guessing that's because my account is now in the use of someone else, as the hacker changed the account over to his email address. I know he did that, as I got a notification of changing the email address at the same moment as I was logged out of Skype.  I use Skype professionally and this issue is causing me a world of trouble. The fact that Skype is a paid service ought to mean that there is better support than 'we will look at it within 72 hours.' 

    So nearly 24 hours later, and still no information either in this forum or via email notification from Skype.  Does this mean that Skype is instead communicating with the person who hacked my account? Since the hacker now has my account registered with their email address, It seems that's the most likely situation, given the unparallelled course of incompetence I'm experiencing from them.  If Skype had taken action on this right away (the moment I made the complaint, which was minutes after my account was hacked) the charge that the hacker made on my credit card would not be lost due to his usage of my account. But apparently, stopping fraud is so low on Skype's agenda that this can go on and on. If I had not been on Skype when it happened (prompting me to instantly block my credit card) there would have been nothing to stop the hacker from making multiple charges to my card, potentially running into the hundreds of dollars.  Instead of action to deal with my problems, I'm receiving notifications that I have earnt 'a new rank' in the Skype community. Whoop-dee-bleedin'-doo!

    Right, so here's what happened. Got into this game that I recently downloaded through the app store, came to a road block were I could either wait days to get the in-game money I needed needed to move on or pay $1.99 and get it over with. I had a gift card with $3 still on it and thought "why the **** not?" Problem now is that I can't update any of my apps without this notification coming up and saying that I need to update my card. I've tried going through my account settings on my phone but I don't get that "none" opinion that everyone is talking about. How can I delete that card from my account? Do I need to call someone or just use up that  $1 I have on it?

    I would try iTunes as well to see if you get the none option available there. I think what may be contributing to it is, even if the app is .99 cents with tax, that will put it over the 1 dollar left in your credit, there by needing a credit card to cover the tax.

    Hi,
    Due to to the Adobe securety problem, I requested a new credit card from my card provider and updated the payment details 24th of October.
    The card was debited by Adobe the 25th, but still, I get a warning when I start a CC app stating that there is a problem with the payment and CC will stop wotking in 13 days. Adobe has recieved my money so please fix this asap.

    After many,many, many  hours of trying I was finally not refused when trying to connect to your payment server (as a first time buyer). So I was asked for my credit card details for the purchase of an application - which I stated. But when I tried to confirm the purchase, my VISA card was refused twice due to "Credit card error". As I know there is nothing wrong with my credit card, please tell me what to do in order to purchase applications from the ovi store.  I don't want to pay many times over for an application which I never downloaded from OviStore. But I anyhow also tried my AmEx-card for the purchase of another app, but same "Credit-card" problem. To say that "I am not amused" with my OviStore experience so far must be the understatement of the century.

    Read the steps in the support article from which you came carefully as the order in which you follow them is  critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
    If you are certain you're following the steps exactly as given and are creating a new Apple ID and still have problems, go here:

    I would just like to add Romit's reply that you can try this & check if it works,
    1. Sign out & sign back in to CCapp (desktop).
    2. Launch any product, it will throw a prompt to renew the subscription, at the bottom an option of "license this software" will be displayed.
    3. Please click on this & it will ask you to sign in & the subscription should be activated.
    Note:The process works when the subscription is active & payment transaction has been completed.

  • Is there any way to change the language in the iTunes/MacApp Store but still having a credit card connected to the stores "in a different languauge?

    I'm living in Germany and I've got a German credit card connected to the stores (iTunes and MacApp) but I'd like to change the language to either English or Swedish. This way I beleive that I would be able to rent movies in another language than German on my Apple TV 2.
    Is this possible somehow?
    (When I change the language I need to have a credit card registred in the contry of that language)

    I saw that I wasn't the first person with this problem.

    It seems that Adobe still cannot master its credit card processing system for subscriptions given the number of complaints in the Forums  but still will not offer a Direct Debit system except in Germany. 
    Direct Debits are would be easier to manage for Adobe and more secure for the subscriber. Remember that recurring payment agreements on credit card are difficult to either cancel and/or retrieve payments claimed in error by the trader (confirmed to me by Visa last week).  So I will not subscribe to CC until the risk of Adobe's credit card system go away, until a time limit can be put of credit card contracts or until Adobe offers its Direct Debit system more widely.
    (I also note that it seems that Adobe restricts comments made on credit card problems to its own staff.)

    I solved that with a pay pall account.
    you can make there a account with your credit card and pay then for that app.
    But dont forget to check your credit card bill. they can charge you for trying to buy the app.
    I have buy 3 times for one app without receiving it.
    The solution that i did with paypall worked perfect!
