  • Credit Check at Ship to Party Level

    Hi Mark
My Client requirement is do Credit Check at Ship to Party level. How can we achieve Credit Check at Ship to Party. Please explain.
    Thanks

    Hi Mark
Thank you very much for your reply.
How can i assign a BP to Credit Management
What i know is my Client wants to implement Credit Check at ship to level. I really dont know why they want to implement credit check at ship to level.
By the statement "You can have a bill to, payer to represent the Head Office.", i assume that credit check can be done at bill to or payer ?. Is that correct. ?
I dont know if we really need 4 layers of customer master partner functions but we definitely need sold to and ship to.
    Thanks

  • Credit Check on Ship to Party.

    Hi Mark,
For my Client, we are implementing Credit Check on Ship-to-Party.
For a Sold-To-Party, we will have one or multiple Ship-to-Party Customers. When a Customer is created in ECC for Account Groups Sold-to and Ship-To, we are creating those ECC Customers as Business Partners in FSCM.
    Here is the Scenario.
Lets say a Sold-to Customer, Customer number 1000 is having Credit Limit as 20000 USD. This Sold-to Customer (1000) is tied with two ship-to Customers 2000 and 3000. Ship-to Customer 2000 is having Credit Limit 15000 USD. Ship-to-customer 3000 is having Credit Limit 5000 USD.
When a Sales Order is created in VA01, for a Sold to customer 1000, which has ship-to Customer 2000, our client requires Credit Check to be executed for 2000 Customer not for customer 1000. How can we achieve this scenario.
    Thanks
    Rajanikanth

You could look to have the ship to's as sold to's and the old sold to's as Bill to's or Payer.
However the simple answer to your question no matter how you define your customer org structure in SAP is if you have a BP at ship to, sold to, or even bill to (payer), then when you define which account groups in FSCM can Credit Management be linked to, do this in config.
Therefore you will have a lower level BP with a credit limit, and you will also assign a credit limit at the second level.
    Hope this helps.

  • Credit check at sales order level?

    Dear experts
I want to set credit check at sale order level with following conditions
consider open deliveries for credit exposure
consider billing documents for creadit exposure
do not consider any open orders
Also if oldest items are open for more than 7days then block the sale order creation
e.g suppose customer is having credit limit Rs.100000/- and open deliveries against this customer is having the value Rs.50000/- i.e. credit exposure is Rs.50000/-. In this case system should block the new sale order created of value more than Rs.50000/-
    plz suggest the configuration steps

  • Credit check at sales order line item level

We are trying to carry out credit checking at the line item level. Standard SD only has credit checking at the document level.
Does anyone know of any enhancements or notes we can apply to achieve this.
    Thanks Steve

    Hi Steve,
The field VBAP-CMGST is only at the header level that is the credit
status is only available at the header. So when you release a
sales order the entire order is released. It cannot be maintained
    at the  item level.
Note 60672 explains that placing a delivery block on the schedule line
level will have this affect on credit management.  Credit bases things
on what can be delivered. Please check in the tranx OVZ7
In block quantity confirmation in delivery blocks there is a blocking
reason setup (ZI) which blocks confirmation if an item is incomplete.
Please see configuration in transaction OVZ7.
Unfortunately, in standard SAP, credit block is applicable to the
    whole S/O document.
In general, credit is applicable to the customer [soldto/billto/payer].
In SAP, this 'customer' is part of header/document level, and not
    item level.
You can not change this behaviour in IMG or userexit.
I hope those information can be useful

  • Credit check at sales order

    Hello Experts,
I have few questions regarding the credit check in FI-AR credit mgmt and SD.
Currently we have a credit check in AR credit mgmt during the delivery order creation. But the management has decided to crap this and to put a credit check at sales order level.
Can someone tell me if there is any business process change in doing this?
Whats the concept of Horizon in dynamic check?
Can someone clarify the concept of Business Partner in SAP FSCM credit mgmt?
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated and duly rewarded.
    Regards,
    Sriram

    hi,
    pl check this :
    [Credit management|http://www.sap-img.com/sap-sd/credit-management.htm]
Dynamic Credit Limit Check with Credit Horizon
The customer's credit exposure is split into a static part; open items, open billing, and delivery values (see above), and a dynamic part, the open order value. The open order value includes all undelivered or only partially delivered orders. The value is calculated on the shipping date and stored in an information structure according to a time period that you specify (days, weeks, or months). When you define the credit check, you can then specify a particular horizon date in the future (for example: 10 days or 2 months, depending on the periods you specify). For the purposes of evaluating credit, you want the system to ignore all open orders that are due for delivery after the horizon date. The sum of the static and dynamic parts of the check may not exceed the credit limit.

  • How to Avoid Open Sales Order Value from Credit Check

    Hello Everyone,
We have a problem with Credit Management, When my user run the execute credit master sheet, system is considering open sales order value under Credit limit used. My user do not want consider open sales order value, they want only Open delivery and Open Billing value need to appear in Credit limit used.
Is it possible to avoid open sales order values, if yes what setting i need to do....please help me.
    Thanks
    Sudheer

    Sudheer,
You need to check the update rule given in the definition of the Credit control Area which you are using for credit management. If you want only the open deliveries then you need to have update rule 15 in the credit control area.
In the credit controal settings, you need to have settings for the credit check at the delivery level.
Hope this will solve your issue.

  • Credit Check in Sales order with partner other than payer

    Hello,
We have typical business scenario in the sales process in yarn industry. Details are mention below:
    - Complete sales process starts with agent and ends with agent but payer(debtor) are always the end customer(Form C customers) which are also provided by Agents
    - Credit Limit are maintained with respect to Agents and there is no possible combination is to which customer will order goods via which agents
    - Major issue we are facing how to perform credit check as at Agent level bcoz invoices are created for end customer
    Options:
    - In order to use Standard functionality is that created multiple payers in the system belonging to combination of agent and customer and use A/R parent customer concept in credit master data were we can map them as Agent.
But issue with this solution is lot of payers will be created in the system.
Not sure if customer hierarchy concept can be useful.
So kindly request to suggest best possible solution available for above process.
    Regards
    Sagar

    Dear Magge,
This is the standard SAP behaviour. Please refer to SAP Note 706034.
    As per this note
"This is required due to the following:
During creation, the credit managment checks a document with "OK". For a
later change of the document, the credit check is "not OK". Since the
reaction "Error message (Error)" is set in the Customizing, the system
    could not save the document.
Due to this, the system cannot set the credit status "not OK" for the
document, in order to prevent follow-up activities. Therefore the system
displays a warning message instead of the error message, so that you can
save the document and thus set the credit status (blocked). The document is
    blocked now for follow-up activities."
We faced the same issue in our project and found we cannot change the Warning message to Error as it is hardcoded as warning. Hence we used USER EXIT and gave the logic that if this warning message is called when in T code VA02 then throw Error Message.
    Hope this will be helpful.

  • Credit check with one payer attached with multiple payers agnst one sold pa

    Dear Experts,
We have the following Sales Structure in our Company.
Dealer and Direct Customers serviced through the Dealer.
Dealer pays a local Cheque/DD on be-half of the direct customers to the Company to take the goods.
This amount is booked as advance in the Dealer account who serves a few Direct Customers.
Sales Invoice is raised on the Direct customer. At this stage SAP should check the Credit limit of the Dealer and not at each of the direct customer level.
If overall credit limit of the dealer exists, then dispatch/billing can be made to any of the direct customer under this dealer.
After some days the Direct Customer pays the Company for the earlier Invoice raised. This payment has to be adjusted with the Invoice.
The Dealer earlier payment shall either be returned to him or adjusted against his Invoice (Goods are also supplied to the Dealer for his own sales)
We have tried to configure this as Payer and Sold-to-party in SAP. But we are unable to generate a Statement of Account u2013 Direct Customer wise, as the entire financial documents (Invoices) are booked against the Payer and not under the sold to party.
Can we manage this structure in SAP where individual statement of account get generated at each of the direct Customer level and also a consolidated Statement of Account at the Dealer level.
Our main requirement is Credit Check at the Dealer level while raising an Sales Order/Invoice, but accounting has to happen at the direct Customer level
Can any one give me some light, how to handle the above in SAP

    Hi Sai,
Please kindly consider the following parameter of the billing type:
    Branch/head office relationship
The indicator controls which partner functions of the billing document can be forwarded to Financial Accounting
    initial :
If the payer is different to the sold-to party, the payer is transferred to Financial Accounting as the customer and the sold-to party as the branch. Any branch/head office relationship stored in FI is ignored.
    A :
The sold-to party is forwarded as the customer. Any branch/head office relationship stored in FI for this customer is taken into account.
    B :
The payer is forwarded as the customer. Any branch/head office relationship stored in FI for this customer is taken into account.
    Note:
If the credit limit check is active, the system always reacts as described in the entry 'initial', regardless of the setting.
    Thank you and best regards.

  • Credit check at PGI

    Dear Friends,
    1. The requirement is to do the credit check at Goods issue level. The sales order qty might be different from the GI qty. Say the sales order is created for 100 kg with the total value Rs 5000-00, but the GI is done for 50 kg which amount to Rs2500-00. Now the credit check should consider the value against the GI qty only. Do we need to have the pricing configured at Delivery level to get this done?
    2. The second requirement is to do the credit check at Goods issue level, also against the Advance payment/Letter of Credit (LC) / Bank Guarantee (BG) from the customer.
Does the standard Credit management settings allow check against Advance payment/LC / BG?
Do we need to use a User exit for the above 1 and 2?
    3. Whats the user exit for PGI?
    Thanks
    Isaac

    HI
There is no need of any pricing to be done at delivery level.
For credit check at PGI level you can use the credit group 03 credit group for goods issue.
and assign it to delivery types here you can enter it in GI credit group

  • Order Value - Credit Check

    Dear Experts
Is there a way to avoid open order value to be calculated in the credit exposure during credit check.?
we want to activate credit checks at the delivery level. and we want only the delivery value + invoice value+ payments to be
incorporated in calculating the credit exposure for a particular customer.and not including the open sales order value.
    awaiting reply
    Best regards
    MH

If you just have SD/FI credit management, that is, do not have Integration with SAP Credit Management (FSCM) activated, you have 2 options both in Automatic credit control
    1.
    Dynamic credit limit check
The dynamic check includes both a static part which checks all open items, deliveries and billing documents and a dynamic part which checks all outstanding order values, that is, all orders not yet delivered or partially delivered.
Now for your requirement put Horizon=0 days
    Or
    2.
Uncheck Static & Dynamic & Check the Document Value option in OVA8 & put the reaction, block & Max.doc.value as desired by the business.
