Credit control sales area wise

Dear Friends,
Sales organisation model is
my company is distributor for all manufacturers,  it will take care of credit control
so  we proposed a sales area  which resembles like this Mumbai -glaxo- pharma,
Mumbai -Novartis- pharma(sales org-disti chnl-divison) etc.
this sales areas will contain all customer and materials of glaxo
some of the stockists are stockists for both glaxo and novartis  so I extend the customer
to one more sales area
if I maintain credit control areas w.r.t to sales area wise  what are the implications
will ready to be happen?
how can I monitor the total credit for the customer?
is it necessary to assign a credit control at company code level?
The process i proposed here is
I will assign credit control at sales area level
and I will maintain credit limit details at FD32
so I can assign credit controls per sales area wise for same customer .
What are the pros and cons of this process?
Waiting for replies,
Thanks

my dear,
Here my requirement is i will not assign any credit control area at company code level
i will assign cca at sales area level only, and it is working fine.
i need the PROS & CONS when i use like this way.

    Hi,
First go to table KNVV & find the customers based on your sales area.
Then go to table KNKK & pass the customers into this table.
    Also check table KNKA
    Hope this helps.

can i view & analysis the customer report asper the sales area wise how?

    Hi,
If you are talking about FBL3N or any other FI customer subledger report, then Yes and No.  If you have customers extended to multiple sales area, then no, if there is a one to one relationship with the sales area then yes.
    Cheers.

    Hi;

Pl. let me know how can we assign the different invoice lists sales area wise.

    Hi;
Create a new zee table & maintain the entries of sales area, customer, billing document type etc.
Use user exit USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP to fetch & overwrite the values in FKART_RL ( VBRK).
    This solve your problem,

    Hi,
You can achieve this by maintain combine sales org, dist chl and division.
Path : Spro-> Sales and Distribution>Sales->Sales Documents>Sales Document Header>Assign Sales Area To Sales Document Types>Combine sales organizations.
    For master data reference
path :Spro-> Sales and Distribution->Master Data--->Define Common Distribution Channels and Define Common Divisions.

  • Credit Limit - Customer/Sales Area Combination

    Hi Gurus
I need to maintain a credit limit for my customer sales area wise.. i.e at company code level I have a limit of Rs 10000/= for the Customer "X" . Now i need to split the credit limit for the customer "X" in the following fashion.
    1. Sales Area "A" - Credit Limit - Rs.4000/=
    2. Sales Area "B" - Credit Limit - Rs.5000/=
    3. Sales Area "C" - Credit Limit - Rs.1000/=
When i raise the Sales order for the customer"X" ,for Sales area "A" for the sale value of Rs.1000/=, then the Credit limit for the customer "X" should reduce to "Rs.3000/=" . Is it possible ? if so how? Plse provide ur valuable inputs on the above. Thanks in Advance
    Regards
    Anis

    Dear Anis,
Credit Limit is set at Credit Control Area level & not at Company code level. Thus if you note in FD32 screen, there is no selection option for Company code.
Now Credit control Area level is above Company code level. Thus to have Credit Limit based on Sales Area, then you will have to create Multiple Credit Control Areas & assign the same to Sales Area at IMG - Enterprise Structure - Assignment - Sales and Distribution - Assign sales area to credit control area.
Then you can set Sales Area-wise limits for Customers.
    Hope this helps...

    Hi,
we can have multiple credit control areas based on req-
eg: client wants to restrict customer based on divisoin wise.
then we will maintain credit control area based on sales area
there 3 division in a comp: AA -BB - CC
    thens sales areas will be:
    1000-10 -AA
    1000-10-BB
    1000-10-CC ( assuming therez one sales org-1000 & dc 10)
now create 3 cr control areas- OB45
Assign sales area to cr Control area - OVFL
Assign permitted credit control areas to comp code - IMG- FA- AR&AP- Credit Management- Credit control account - Assign permitted credit control areas to comp code.
Now you can assign this Cr CA- by sales area wise in CMR & maintain the credit limits for each Cr CA.
So when ever your needs wants to do it by division or sales area wise you can do this.
    Thanks,
    Raja

  • Credit card sales

how are credit card sales are controlled under SAP FI_AR? Are there any commercial Interfaces available in the market?  As a Financial consultant how do you deal the situation?
    thanks,
    aruna.

    hello Aruna,
The below two function module are available in standard SAP for the payment card interface with the clearing house.
         CCARD_AUTH_SIMULATION
         CCARD_SETTLEMENT_SIMULATION
Configuration settings need to be maintained with Authorization and settlement GL accounts for different cards like VISA, MC, etc
At sales order level, the credit card number can be maintained in encrypted form, which will trigger authorization immediately by saving the order. While releasing the billing to accounting, the invoice will be a cleared item. Settlement can be run in schedule intervals.
But few scenarios, credit card payment are decided at the invoice level in AR, also resulted in the same process of authorization and settlement.
    Hope this clears your doubt.

    shashikanth.

  • FI-AR-CR Customer Sales per Credit Control Area

    Hi,
Do you know any table or funtion that may calculate the Customer Sales Volume per Credit Control Area? I need to calculate a customer specfic DSO (Day Sales Outstanding) figure. The standard AR Summary doesn't return such information. This nay be obtained via BSEG, but it requires a complex query.
I have found the function module CUSTOMER_BALANCE, but it returns customer sales per company code, which still requires additional calculation to totalize the balances for all the company codes that belong to a credit control area which the customer is assigned to.
I appreciate any input that may provide a simplier solution for this question.
    Thanks and regards.
    Gonçalo

    Hi,
I have decided to use the function module CUSTOMER_DSO_CALCULATION, and I will try get the sales volume from some internal variable that this FM uses to calculate the standard DSO. Then I'll store it on a  Z table in order to compute the new specific DSO
    Thanks and regards,
    Gonçalo

  • Is it possible to create a sales order in two credit control area

    Hi,experts,
I have a senario to realize. One customer has two sales area, and has two credit control area correspondingly. And this customer also has one common shared credit control area. I want to realize that one sales order would occupy two credit control area.
common credit control area limit :  300
           credit control area A limit : 500
           credit control area B limit : 500
Now I have a sales order for this customer, net value is 400, the sales order will be blocked. Although it does not supass the credit control area A, but supass the common credit control area limit
    How to realize this senario?
    Thanks.

    wayne,
Sales order has one credit control area, check VBAK-KKBER
Therefore order should be checked against this CCA.

  • Where is credit control Area in sales order. The field.??

    Hi all
where is credit control Area in sales order. The field.??
    Ahmed

    Hi Sadhu,
You may get the wrong infomation if you only checking the credit control area for customer master.
During sales order creation the system determines the relevant CCA. This is done in 4 steps in the following sequence:
    1.      Userexit
    2.      Credit control area of the payer (XD03)
    3.      Credit control area of the Sales Area (OVFL)
    4.      Credit control area of the Company Code (OB38)
As far as the system can determine a CCA it leaves the sequence.
So there maybe no credit control area in customer master data for the payer. But if there is one maintained for sales area or company code or in userexit, the sales order can get one CCA determined. I recommand using the check_cm report because it tells you the correct info.
