Credit control sales area wise
Dear Friends,
Sales organisation model is
my company is distributor for all manufacturers, it will take care of credit control
so we proposed a sales area which resembles like this Mumbai -glaxo- pharma,
Mumbai -Novartis- pharma(sales org-disti chnl-divison) etc.
this sales areas will contain all customer and materials of glaxo
some of the stockists are stockists for both glaxo and novartis so I extend the customer
to one more sales area
if I maintain credit control areas w.r.t to sales area wise what are the implications
will ready to be happen?
how can I monitor the total credit for the customer?
is it necessary to assign a credit control at company code level?
The process i proposed here is
I will assign credit control at sales area level
and I will maintain credit limit details at FD32
so I can assign credit controls per sales area wise for same customer .
What are the pros and cons of this process?
Waiting for replies,
Thanksmy dear,
Here my requirement is i will not assign any credit control area at company code level
i will assign cca at sales area level only, and it is working fine.
i need the PROS & CONS when i use like this way. -
Credit limit of customer should be maintained as per division wise.
Hi All
Here requirement is that The credit limit of customer should be maintained as per division wise.
Means Here there are two divisons Foods and Personal care.
So One Customer will have different credit limit in each division*(Ex Foods it may be 100000 USD and Personal care it may be 20000 USD)
It is possible
AhmedHi Ahmed,
You could consider the following process.
1.Create two different credit control area A and B.
2.XD02->maintain customer master data for sales area of the first division and assign credit control area A on
Billing documen tab
3.XD02->maintain customer master data for sales area of the second division and assign credit control area B on Billing documen tab
4. FD32->maintain different credit master data for the two credit control areas.
Thanks and regards,

How to get DIVISION wise report in Controlling?
Hi,
How to get DIVISION wise report in Controlling? I am not trying to get Division in COPA report but i am not able to see Division Characteristic in Operating concern Data structure.
Kindly help me - where can i get good Controlling report with Division wise? why i am not able to see the Division characteristic in COPA report?
Thanks
KishoreHI,
Check this:
KEA0 ->Data stucture (Display) ->Extras(Menu) -> Display fixed fields. In this pop-up you will see 'Division' (SPART).
If this field is defined as Segment level characteristic (KEQ3), then you can build reports on this characteristic using KE35.
Hope this helps. -
Credit Control per Sales Division
Hi SAP Guru's,
How can I set up a Credit Control System based on Sales Divisions?
For example: A company has two divisions: X and Y. Customer John purchases from both these divisions. Now how can I set up the Credit management policies per division such that if the outstanding arrears of John > USD $ 50,000 in Division X then his sales order is blocked but he is still allowed to purchase from Division Y. Johns Division Y Credit limit is USD $ 100,000
Thanks,
KetanHi Ketan,
Try the following.
1) Create two different sales areas since you would be having two different divisions, also create two different credit control areas.Say your first Sales Area is 1000 10 10 and the second Sales Area is 1000 10 20, and your credit control area is K088 and KO89.
2) Assign the Sales Area 1000 10 10, to K088 and Assign 1000 10 20, TO K089, under the assignment Assign Sales Area to Credit Control Area
3) Next create a customer No 2000 for the sales area 1000 10 10 by using T Code XD01(Customer Master Creation). Now in the billing tab page of the sales area data, see that the field credit control area is activated. Assign K088 in the credit control area.
4) Create the same customer 2000 for different sales area which would be 1000 10 20, the system will allow you since the sales area differs. Now assign the credit control area K089 in the billing tab page for this sales area
5) Go to FD32 and your input would be the customer and the credit control area hence create this by giving Customer 2000 and K088 and assign the credit limit for K088 credit control area.
6) Again go to FD32 input the same customer only this time give the credit control area as K089 and assign the credit limit for K089.
Check if this works
Kind Regards

Credit control on distribution channel wise
hello
can anyone tell me how to have credit control on distribution channel wise
i know sales area assignment to credit control area
but can we have a direct way of controlling credit can three be any wayYes we can do by using Distribution channel..
Take 2 sales areas with different D.Channel assign those to 2 different credit control areas that configuration that u can do in enterprize structure -
assignment
HI,
sales & Distribution -
assign sales area to credit control area..
Now the assignment between Credit control area and company code, as per our SD concerned we can assign one credit control area to one company code i.e one to many relation ..
but internally u can assign one more credit control area i.e which is assigned to 2nd sales area to same company code. here it is in Financial accounting--- credit management there u can find search on that, there u can assign one more C.C.Area to C.Code....
From this way u can maintain creditlimit to the customer on basis of credit control area
In FD32 u r maintaining credit limit to the customer in the combination of credit control area..
i hope so this will help u so much, try it and let me know...
Credit groups are linked with sales document type sales document is linked with sales areas .,thats why distribution channels are linked to credit groups.
if it helps dont forget to reward me.

Distribution channel wise credit limit on one credit control area
Dear colleagues,
I got requirement to define credit limits for customers depending on distribution channel but all must be within one credit control area. Is it possible to set up system in that manner?
Regards,
HarryHi Shichang,
My company have 3 distribution channels Wholesales, Retail and Internet. Each of them sell unique products, but in some portion their portfolio is overlapping. Each of this distribution channels are independent departments and each of them define own credit limits for the customers. Management want to have one credit control area for reporting purposes.
One customer can buy from one or more distribution channels. If for example X Inc, buy from Wholesales they should have 100,000.00$ credit limit, but if they buy from Internet they should have 10,000.00$. Each of this credit limits need to be independent, but in reports everything should be summarized.
Hope that this detailed explanation is helpful.

4.Validation to ensuer that Invoice/Debit note of one credit control area shall not be knocked off through payment/credit note of different control area.

Dear friends,
In my implementation i stuck up with credit control. Any one of u guys helpme out of this problem. normally credit control is determined with respect to sales area(sales orgdchnldivison)
Proposed Org. structure look like above.
Here in Maharashtra single sales org will be maintained as a MSCDA
Distribution channels are named by Manufacturers (Aventis, cipla, Novartis etc)
Single divison is (pharma.)
We are capturing manufacturer divison as a material group in basic data1.
All the sales transactions of single manufacturer will takecare by single sales area in our sytem.
Credit control:
We have to maintain manufacturer division wise credit control in our sytem.
*i have to determine credit control area by sales are and material group,*
how can i do , pls provide me inputs on user exits for thisHi Jadadish,
Here is the functionality of USEREXIT_AVAIL_CHECK_CREDIT, so I don't think it is the right one...
In the standard, when a credit-blocked document is released, a new availability check is run so that the items in the released document receive a confirmed quantity again. However, if it is necessary not to perform the ATP check in some situations because of the customer´s business needs, they could use the following userexit to disallow the ATP run: USEREXIT_AVAIL_CHECK_CREDIT. Please check notes 531793 and 575969 for further information about this issue.
Why not try USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAK (MV45AFZZ)?
Hope it helps.

Can we assign 2 credit control area for one company codes

09990019711Hi,
we can have multiple credit control areas based on req-
eg: client wants to restrict customer based on divisoin wise.
then we will maintain credit control area based on sales area
there 3 division in a comp: AA -BB - CC
thens sales areas will be:
1000-10 -AA
1000-10-BB
1000-10-CC ( assuming therez one sales org-1000 & dc 10)
now create 3 cr control areas- OB45
Assign sales area to cr Control area - OVFL
Assign permitted credit control areas to comp code - IMG- FA- AR&AP- Credit Management- Credit control account - Assign permitted credit control areas to comp code.
Now you can assign this Cr CA- by sales area wise in CMR & maintain the credit limits for each Cr CA.
So when ever your needs wants to do it by division or sales area wise you can do this.
Thanks,

Customers extended to more than one Credit Control Area ?
Hello ,
Please advice ,SAP Customers (payers ) can be extended to more than one Credit Control Area ?
Yes or No ?
Pros & Cons ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
VikasHi Vikas,
You can map one customer to two different credit control areas:
However you need to understand the following points:
1.Delinking of company code to existing credit area (FI)
2.Allow at compnay code more than one control and allow overwriting also(FI)
3.Allow the existing risk categories to work in new control Area (FI)
4.Change layout of customer master (if credit control area is not activated in sales area-Billing Tab)
5.Creation of Validations in FI that No entry to customer ledger shall pass without assignment to control area.
The Process of having multiple control area under one compnay code though not advisable however if business requires this you need to configure.
Pros:
1. Single customer code
2.Credit control division wise
3.AR can be taken division wise
Cons:
1.Master data maintenance would increse
2.user need to put credit area in all transactions specially-Credit & debot Notes (FB70) and advance payments.
If You require any other help pls revert.

User exit for merging the credit limit in different credit control area.
Dear All,
Please provide user exit for the merging the credit limit in different credit control area as well as logic for the same.
I have to merge the overall credit limit of the customer for some divisions. At this time in one company code we have created 9 credit control area as per product line. While creating customer master data and Credit management (FD32) user has assigned the different limit with respective to credit control area e. g Customeru2019s total limit assigned is 10 laks. For credit control 1100 Limit is Rs. 3 laks and for credit control area 2200 limit is 7 laks. Now the user wants to merge the credit limit for only above two credit control area. The sales orders should get created in any credit control area up to 10 laks.
Regards,
SureshDear Damodhar/All,
Would you please explain me prerequisite setting from functional side for these user exit?
I want complete functional setting prior to ABAP application so that it work properly post configuration.

Two credit control are at the same sales order.
Hello Gurus,
I would like to know how if you can help with the following subject:
I have two sales area:
XXXX YY A1
XXXX YY A2
And for each sales area it´s assigned two credit control areas, like:
XXXX YY A1 to credit control area A
XXXX YY A2 to credit control area B
Is it possible to create a sales order with these two sales area?
We need to have credit control limit differents for sales area (customers), but also we like two have only one sales order to manage. Is it possible?
Many thanks in advanced.
Luiz GeraldiHi Luiz,
In sales booking screen VA01 t-code we have the following fields as necessary input.
Order Type
Sales organization
Distribution channe
Division
Sales office
Sales group
All these fields need to be unique in order to save this document.
So we can input any number of materials provided the above details are unique.
We can have more than 1000 line items, but all these materials need to be in a single sales organization, distribution channel and division.
As this is a standard SAP functionality, i am afraid there is no customization by which we can change this (as far i my knowledge goes)
Hope i am right in my approach,
correct me if i am wrong;
Let me know if you have further concerns;
Regards,
Syed Nasir -

Their credit limit can be set in FD32 T.Code.
Automatic credit check will be maintained in OVA8
Follow these steps:
1. Go to IMG - enterprise structure - definition - financial accounting - define credit control area.
2. Assignment of company code to credit control area & sales area to credit control area.
3. Go to OVAK select ur sales document type and in the check credit column choose from A B or C. D is for automatic credit control for which you have to maintain the credit group and risk categories.
4. In FD32 you select your customer and click on STATUS icon and press enter. here u maintain the credit amount allowed. but this is done by the Finance people.
5. Now when you create the sales order and if the amount exceeds the credit limit then u will get the message as you maintained in the TC OVAK. Normally the system starts doing credit checks from the second sales.
order.
What are the different types of credit checks?
By Sunilmadho
Credit Check can be :
1) Simple Credit Check
2) Automatic Credit Control
Automatic Credit Control can be at various levels :
1) Order
2) Delivery
3) Goods Issue
Automatic Credit Check is of many types :
1) Static
2) Dynamic
3) MaximumDocument Value
4) Maximum Open Items in percentage
5) Oldest Open Item in number of days
6) Crtitical fields change
7) Highest dunning level, etc.
You can create more.
Credit Check happens only in SD module, never in FI. Because the stage of the check is in the sales cycle, which exists in SD. FI guys will check the credit master sheets of the customer, the MIS, the analysis etc, review the credit limits of customers. But the check will happen only in SD, while creating order, delivery or doing the goods issue.
All business have their own credit management needs, SAP allows you to specify your own automatic credit checks based on a variety of criteria. You can also specify at which critical points in the sales and distribution cycle the system carries out these checks.
