Credit note should be issued to newly created customer

Hello Gurus,
I need to issue a rebate credit note for  2013 – Jan-Aug   1200746,44 INR
Agreement 70 was created for customer 4000240- Royal plastic (Royal group) this customer was sold to Melton group as per 01.09.2013 – new account 4000488 with new name as Melton plastic was created.
The old account 4000240 has been marked for deletion.
Now I need to create a credit note for the customer, but it has to be issued to new customer account 4000488.
Now client wants to make sure that the credit note will be booked in a way that the credit amount it related to rebates and not revenues.
Can you please advise how to handle this ?

HI,
you can achive this by assigning customer account to different credit risc class in credit master data.
The risc class triggers system behaviour/response for credit risc management (what is checked during credit management process, what happens if the check is fullfilled,...).

    Hi everybody,
    I have imported four tables in a source module and used the Join Operator in order to insert the rows in one newly created table.
    This table - designed in a target module - was created in the desired schema , but without the relevant rows , as I expected...
    NOTE : the where clause , i have defined in the Join Operator, is not the problem , as I removed it and the rows are not inserted...in the table
    Also , the sample PL/SQL code which was created automatically , was exactly as I expected - I mean the 'insert into ... select.....' clause was right...
    What may be the problem..?

    Sorry for being a little unclear ...
    I have followed the instrunctions in the on-line help of OWB , and :
    1) have imported four code tables into a source module . The tables are in an Oracle RDBMS 10g .
    2)I have created manually a table - using the OWB client tool - which consisted of some of the columns found in the four tables .
    3)I have inserted a Join Operator in order to correlate the four table columns with the columns of the target module.
    4)I have defined the Join condition of the the four table columns. In my first post , unintenionally I have written that I removed the Join Operator. I meant the Join Condition in order to make sure that the join condition isn't the reason that the records are not inserted....
    5)I have validated and generated the mapping without any errors - not even warnings.
    6)I have selected Project->Deployment Manager and I selected the OWB_RUN user - which is the Runtime Repository owner.
    7)I have selected the objects to deploy - the mapping , the one table I created in the target module. The deployment has succedded , and the table was created but no records are found in it.
    Now , is there a possibility that this problem is caused by absence of the privileges to insert the rows...?
    How can I check that the source tables are filled on the registered location of your source module?
    Another basic question...
    I have created a Runtime Repository owner - called owb_run- using the Runtime Repository Assistant . I use this user in order to deploy the mapping and the new table. I want -and it is created- that table in another schema (user his_dw) - even another database in the same server. Should I run the Runtime Repository owner in this schema (his_dw)???

  • Officejet Pro 8620 will not print old documents, only newly created ones

    When I use the driver designed for the printer I can only print documents (Word, Excel, and Publish 2007) that are new, as long as I have not copied and pasted or inserted sheets from previously created documents.  It will not print any Outlook 2007 emails but it prints PDF's fine. Also, the printer works fine with driver for deskjet 990c but limits my options on page size and the margin on the right side won't change and are way to big for most of my documents.  Any thoughts?

    If that does not resolve the issue, post back and let me know if there are any symbols other than green check marks and what they are next to of course. The wrench is not always easy to spot as the wrench and the check mart are in the green circle.
    If you see only green check marks (), the tool did not find any problems.
    If you see green wrenches (), the utility identified an issue and corrected it automatically.
    If you see yellow exclamation points (), the test failed and required user action, but the step was skipped.
    If you see a red X (), follow the on-screen instructions to resolve the issue.

  • Ship to party is not available in account group while creating Customer Master

    Hello All.
    While creating customer master in account group there is no SH(ship to party) what is the purpose of it . I can see PY BP but not SH (XD01). We always use Sold to Party but i have seen Payer and Bill to party as well while creating customer master . Just got confused why we select such options when everything comes under sold to party.
    I cannot see SH while creating customer for the first time is it necessary that SH should there while creating customer master.

    please do assign ship to party to account group .
    SPRO --> S&D --> BASIC FUNCTION --> PARTNER DETERMINATION--> SET UP PARTNER DETERMINATION --> FOR CUSTOMER MASTER -- > A/C GROUP - FUNCTION ASSIGNMENT
    Here assign ship to party(sh) to your account group.
    Now you will find sh in customer master.

  • Not able to save a newly created Data Model in BI Publisher.

    I was trying to create a new Report (my very first report) in BI Publisher. I created a new Data Model and a Data Set. But I am not able to save the Data Model and thus not able to proceed to the report. There's no error shown. Same happens with reports too.

    You should have a group called 'XMLP_ADMIN' in your repository and administrator or the user you are using should be part of that group. Look into paint.rpd for all these.

  • Connection Test issue with newly created INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI in PI7.0

    Hi Pals,
    Due to change in password for user "PIISUSER" in our system, i changed the login credentials in sm59 -> INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI.
    But the test connection failed, popping up the username/password login dialog again and again.
    So i deleted the RFC Connection "INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI" and recreated it with all the care mentioned in the XI installation guide, manually, step by step.
    But again the test connection failed, popping up the username/password login dialog again and again.
    I tried this exercise for almost 15 times but without success.
    NOTE: I am able to login with "PIISUSER" from SAP system Login successfully.

    could be the problem with password..we also faced the same problem while using an alphanumeric one.
    after changing to a completely numeric one it started working fine

  • MDS artefacts into newly created Custom MDS partition.

    Hi All,
    Hope you all doing good.
    I have a issue which is not getting solved from many a days now.
    Hope some of you may help me in resolving that.
    I am using soa suite 11.1.1.5.
    I have created a MDS partition in mds-soa repository.
    I want to add some of the common artefacts into that.
    But I am not able to do that as Jdeveloper, ANT, WLST all are deploying them on soa-infra partition instead of my custom partition.
    I searched a lot to provide the partition name while deploying the artefacts, but no luck.
    So.. If u guys can provide me some solution/suggestion/idea to do that, then it will be a great boost for me to carry forward.

    soa-infra application is by default associated with soa-infra partition.
    Is it possibel to change the association with a custom partition?
    If so how can I do that?
    Are there any implications if I change the soa-infra application MDS partition to customed partition?

    I have a requirement - a credit note should be created for each sales order in case of a return order.
    Ive also been told to add a routine under Billing Documents but then I dnt know which code to write...
    Has anyone done this before?
    If so, can you please tell me wat I should code?

    How did you sell the asset?
    You can just reverse the sale transaction by going to transaction AB08.

  • Credit memo request / credit note

    I have a doubt in credit memo request setting.
    I have setup to create a credit memo req in sales with ref. to either billing doc or sales doc.
    In copy control I have chosen pricing type 'D'. We manually maintain prices in Sales.
    Say for eg. we have delivered the below to our customer.
    material 1 - 2 pieces - each at $2000
    material 2 - 1 piece -   each at $3500
    My customer didnot return the part, but instead comment that the price of material 2 is too high.
    So the client wishes to change the price of the material 2 to $2800/piece instead of $3500.
    I notice that when I mark the item 2 with reason for rejection code as "too expensive", in my Credit Note I see $0.00 to be copied.
    Am not clear here. Should I change the pricing type in my credit note to allow changes so that my new price is only at $2800?
    Where should I do this?
    Also should I delete the material 1 from the credit memo req document or should I delete it from my credit note?
    I quite don't know why should we keep the material when there is no problem that we already charged the customer & they have payed us too.

    "Item Rejection reason" may be used in Sales Order, when there are multiple line item & some of them are not to be executed. The items which are not to be executed, should be maintained with "Item Rejection reason"

    The anwer to this is Yes.

    Irrespective of receipt of excess payment Credit note can be issued. You need not cancel original invoice & the credit balance can be settled in latter transaction or can be refunded through FI.
    <i>case 2: also if only the invoice is sent to the customer, but if they have not paid the company</i>
    In this case, the customer can make the payment as per outstanding due in his account, as credit note will give an effect in accounting. You need not cancel original invoice & the credit balance can be settled in latter transaction or can be refunded through FI.

    Create credit memo request with reference to first invoice (the pop-up screen will take only one).
    Once all the items are copied to the credit memo request use menu path Sales document -> create with Reference , enter the second reference invoice. This will copy all the line items in the second invoice.
    Repeat the second step to copy all the invoices of the customer to the credit memo request.
    Do invoicing to generate a single credit memo. The credit memo request may split at the time of invoicing (some times) but you can prevent it.

    I would like to ask where to check the configuration of this report.  I encountered a problem here wherein the export reporting of our credit notes are reported as sales.  I think the credit notes should be reported with a negative sign and not as a positive one.  Please kindly help clarify on this matter.

  • Credit Note / Debit Note in B-One

    Dear All,
    I would like to know the process for creation of Credit / Debit Notes under financial module of B-One. Here i do not found any option to create those. but the the transactions are defaults when you use financial accounting.
    Means without creating an invoice or payment to the BP / Vendor, the payables or receivables adjusted within books of accounts, not through an JV / JE.
    Pl do let me know the options available in the B-One system.

    in B1 credit and debit notes come under Sale and puchase module A credit note is usually issued when the invoicing has been done and goods have to be returned back thus creating a credit note it creates a reveral of entried in terms of accounting and the vendor wose account was debitted in case of sale gets credited by equal amount and vice versa

  • Automatically display newly created document

    I'm using Acrobat XI Pro and need to figure out why newly created pdf files do not automatically display on the screen. I had to purchase a new hard drive for additional space and reloaded Win 7 Pro and all programs. On the old setup, whenever I created a new pdf by printing to the Adobe PDF Printer, the new document automatically displayed full screen. On the new setup, the pdf is created, but my current program still takes precedence on the screen. The pdf icon appears in the taskbar and glows looking for me to click on it, but I don't want that extra step. I just want the new pdf to take over and appear full screen. I do have "view Adobe pdf results" checked so that is not the problem. Any thoughts on how to get windows to automatically switch to the newly created pdf?

    It's not a relocation, but a complete fresh install. So that should not be the problem and everything else about it is fine.
    The pulsating taskbar icon is just telling me that there is a new document that hasn't been clicked on yet. This is simply the typical Windows behavior of launching a program but not switching to it so yes it is in fact already open. It's just not taking precedence over the other programs. It's basically opening in the background.
    Double clicking on a pdf  displays them full screen.
    If Acrobat is already running, it behaves the way I want so maybe you are on to something there.
    So if all instances of Acrobat are closed, newly created pdfs just give me the blinking taskbar icon until I click on it. If I already have one pdf open (even if I am not looking at it), the newly created pdf automatically opens full screen, which is what I want.
    Any idea what could cause this behavior? It's almost like Windows will only give it some sort of priority if it is already running. You can see on the image below what I am getting. It will stay this color until I click on it. I'm trying to avoid this.

    can any one tell me how to manage the system to not calculate the Taxes in case of Credit note to be issued for the Customer Returns.
    Here we are using only one Pricing procedure for all types of Sales transactions.
    I have one thought that can I manage by crating new Access sequence for the Return document type. will it works ?

    Here two ways to give the possible solution
    1.  Manual Removal of Taxes at the time of Return order
    2.  Through ABAP routine to make condition type as stastical.
    In case of Manual Removal, you need to maintain the configuration of condition type as editable mode during the order processing and the relevent configs are
    Activate the Boxes of Change, Delete, Value, Quantity unit
    In case to follow through ABAP, then develop a routine and attache the same against the conditon type.  Here the code need to write as
    a.  Compare the Billing date of VBRK-FKDAT with VBAK-BUDAT and if BUDAT >=180 days of FKDAT then system to make the conditon type as statstical and not relevent for billing.
