Critical object error in benefits
Hi,
I am getting critical object error when i try to enroll an employee. Anybody provide me solution to ovecome this prooblem.
Hi Anand,
I tried using dependent/beneficiary and RLPGR but it did not work. Would this not be used to control eligibility in the dependents/beneficiary tabs.
What the client wants is to control Employee eligibility to the plan. If spouse is not present then EE must not be eligible for spouse life plan. How would this be achieved through standard customizing without using PBEN0006 and ABAP coding.
Thanks
Sumeet

Can naybody help me in this regard as the same workbook is opening in other system..Points will be awarded for the helpful answers..
Thanks in advance..Niyati,
That hotfix can run only to the 640, even we have the same problem over here. Actually you should not upgarde the front end patch if you want to install. But that hot fix might run or may not run, you may get issues later with the GUI..
All these probles will cause becoz of frontend patch... If you are at patch 27 then you need to unistall and come back to the same patch level as your colleague has... actually i dont know how to unistall that patch.. Or else try out with frontend patch 28...
Hope it helps..
Assign points if it helps

Error in editing object: Error in RFC to Solution Manger System
Hi All,
Our System release is ERP 6.0 EhP4 and our DB is Oracle.
When we try to create or edit any object (eg: Function module, package, function group, tables) in our system and save it in a local workbench request, we are getting an error which states: Error in editing object: Error in RFC SM_<SID>CLNT<Client>_BACK to Solution Manger System.
Though we have deleted the RFC SM_<SID>CLNT<Client>_BACK, we still get the same error when we try to edit an object and save it in a workbench request. But when we save all these in a local object instead of a package we do not get any error.
Can any one please suggest some solution for this?? As we are held up in some critical activity.
Regards,
Yamini.Hi,
Not sure - but maybe a cross system lock seems to exist. Perhaps you can check this:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_em70/helpdata/en/43/7227481a856fcae10000000a1553f6/content.htm
Or else create the Back RFC to SolMan and check how it proceeds.

Hi....space critical objects in DB02
hi all,
i am findind sapce critical object in DB02.
even it have 13% free space. (87 % full).
tablespace.name is : PSAPCLUD.
object RFBLG
Freespace /KB. maximun 164,880
total 665.488
next extent /kb 327.680.
how to solve this problem...
Regards,
swathiHi Swati,
Please check the tablespace properties by using BRTOOLS utility. Check for Autoextent, is it enables or not?
The option for this is to add a new datafile in this tablespace.
You can do this by doing following steps:
Try to add the datafile, as the autoextension is off.
You can do this by the help of SAPDBA/BRTOOLS.
You would get the stuff related to BRTOOLS in hep.sap.com portal.
Just go thorugh this link
how to add a database table space, may be it would help you out a bit.
If you get error in starting the brtools, just check the environmental variables like ORACLE_SID, ORACLE_HOME etc.
The other option is to reorg the tablespace.
That can be achieved by using the Brtools utility also.

This comes when the users tries to access Bex Query and WB through analyzer.
1. We have reinstalled SAP but that is not helping.
2. We have given new laptops to users but that is also not helping for them.
3. There is NO new installation or Security patch added on their Laptop from past few days which might cause this error.
Please respond if you have any idea on this.

"object reference not set to an instance of an object" error while running ssrs report locally
Hi Folks,
I am a bit new to SSRS.
I am using ssrs 2012 and trying to use a method from a dll file. I am loaded the assembly file in reference of the report.
Now I am trying to use a static method from the Dll. e.g. applicationName.classname.MethodName()
But while running the report I am getting "object reference not set to an instance of an object" error.
For a note I am trying execute the report locally.
Any help would be highly appreciable.
sarat chandra sahooSorry for late reply Sinaloe..
I have added a dll file in my report reference. And in a textbox trying to execute this below.
=Recall.Common.LocalizationEx.Localization.GetString(Parameters!Culture.Value, "RFID", "BICustomerPortal")
where Getstring() is a static method in the dll.
I guess some configuration setting I am missing here.
1. I have copied these dlls in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies" and "C:\Windows\Assembly".

A critical program error has occured while opening workbook
Dear friends,
A critical error has occured while opening workbook. The issue is that the same workbook is opening in some one machine but not in others. The following Dialog box is poping out when tried to open workbook:
"A critical program error has occured. The Program will now terminate. Please refer to trace for further information."
However,i did the full updation of service pack3 of MS Excel 2003 on my machine and the same version as on that particular machine(on which workbook is opening). The problem is still there. Please provide some solution.
Thankx a lot in advance!!!
regards,
Sandeep SinglaThe machine where the workbook is opening has a GUI :-
Release : "710 Final Release"
File Version : 7100.2.7.1038
Build : 967944
Patch Level : 7
and the machine where the critical program error is coming has a GUI :-
Release : "710 Final Release"
File Version : 7100.2.8.1039
Build : 983952
Patch Level : 8
The Excel 2003 are similar in both the machines as the service pack3 has been installed in the machine where workbook was not opening.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi I was on my windows side of my mac when i got the blue-screen-of-death with something saying Critical Kernel Error, weird noises from the speakers and the macbook pro did a hard shut off.
Since then I can no longer boot into the mac or windows side (both are stuck infinitely loading). I ran disk utility on the mac side and I have an "Invalid Node Structure." Which disk utility cannot repair. I do have DiskWarrior on another mac to try and rebuild the mac partition through a firewire connection - i think that is the correct course of action ?
But does this mean my windows partition is likely gone or any idea what went on ? As I am terribly confused that while on my windows side I had an error that messsed up both partitions.
Or what to check for so this hopefully doesnt happen again if it is a hardware problem? My drive smart status is listed as "OK" and I cant seem to run the Apple Hardware test as upon attempting to get into it the laptop just shuts off while loading it, although I read somewhere the Apple Hardware test is no longer preloaded on macbook pros.
The system in question is a 15" macbook pro bought around July 2011.
Thank you,
WesAlright I have both my mac side and windows side repaired and functioning fine. Should I still be concerned ? Linc I know you are saying this is a drive malfunction but is there a way I can be sure ? I still cannot run AHT (restart, hold down D), and my laptop shipped with Lion installed so I believe it should run. It just boots into the mac side when I hold D..

A critical program error occured when running a workbook
Some end users get a critical program error occured when running a workbook when they want to make selections.
In the trace they get the following message
System.ArgumentException: Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: "44ABATDK7TYM365CYLQ0VDKU6" Key being added: "44ABATDK7TYM365CYLQ0VDKU6"
This happens only on some PC clients !
Thanks for any help !
IvanHi Vid,
Thanks for your suggestion.
I am using a different patch i.e.
BI AddOn 7.X (based on 7.10), Support Package 5, Revision 1083
and it helps to solve my problem.

"Invalid Annotation Object" error
I'm using Windows XP Pro (SP3) on a 2.66 GHz, 2 GB RAM computer, and while working in an Adobe Acrobat 9 document, I had just saved the file (CTRL+S) and the document froze and I got a Windows error box that asked if I wanted to send an error report, which I did. When I opened Adobe again, it asked if I wanted to open the last file which didn't save correctly, which I did.
Then when I proceeded to work in the document and tried to highlight a sentence I was going to delete, I got an Adobe Acrobat popup box that said "Invalid Annotation Object. OK" but no matter how many times I clicked on "OK," the box kept popping up and wouldn't go away. I tried saving a copy of the document, but the same box was in it and wouldn't go away. I couldn't even work in the document to extract pages or anything else. Huge problem!
Does anyone know what can I do to resolve this problem? (This happened on a Saturday when Adobe phone support is not accessible.)On 3/24/2015 same problems, after Adobe Acrobat 9 pro. crashed while I added text boxes.. When I opened Adobe again, Yes to open the last file which didn't save correctly, then "Invalid Annotation Object" errors on my .pdf file of 96 pages
- first, I had to acknowledge/click the OK button until all " invalid annotation objects" error pop-up windows are gone
(for my file with 96 pages, i had to hit the OK button more than hundreds times - need patience)
- then found out (later) that what I did turn out to be the same steps as following post by davidsdomingo in adobe.forums

Here is a technique for identifying all the pages that have invalid annotation objects on them:
1. Document > Extract Pages ...
•Select the checkbox for "Extract Pages As Separate Files"
•Set the destination to a 'dedicated' folder that won't contain any other files -- that way, you can simply delete the folder when this process is done.
•Click OK.
2. During the extraction, click OK in all the message boxes that appear.
3. After the extraction, look in the destination folder to see which pages are missing. Those are the pages that have invalid annotation objects.
From this point you can try to delete the objects, or simply delete and replace the pages, or implement a different solution. Hope this helps someone.
- after extract the 96-pages file into individual files into a dedicated folder, only 95 got extracted and page 1 was not/can not be extracted.
- I then combined the 95 good extracted pages into a new file name .pdf
- then inserted a good page 1 without error (from the file that was saved previous day, prior to all the changes I made on the corrupted file), re work on page 1
- delete the bad file.
Hope this helps someone. -
Adobe "Invalid annotation object" error
We recieve a specific error message on a few PDFs. Some from documents converted from 2007 Word and others out of Outlook 2007 through the PDF print function. While moving the mouse over certain comments the users has placed on the document in the PDF format, Acrobat 9.9.3 throws this error. We've tried to delete the bad refs and other times have just started a new document, print to PDF while starting over. Any ideas on why this is happining, what might be causing this and what we can do to reslove this problem. I cannot seem to duplicate the problem a few see. Any thoughts or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Brian
