CRM winclient sales process probelm
Hello Experts,
I am working on CIC winclient sales process.
I have created Quote and follwup order in winclient.
But when I open the Quote in GUI(CRMD_order) transaction it is displaying with multiple follwup Quotes along with my sales order.
When i go and see the document flow ,
From Quote to order it is showing "Next Document,"
But Quote to Quote it is showing "participent communication process"
Please let me know why the system is behaving like this.

Sales Process at the Opportunity Revenue Level
Hello,
My client is managing all the opportunities at the part level (product revenue) level. All there approvals happen at the part level and it is possible that for an opportunity there could be muiltiple parts with some Closed/Won and some Closed/Lost.
I believe managing sales process is currently available at the Opportunity header level. I tried to expose the existing Sales Stage field on the Revenue record on the Related Object page layout. But it is read-only. OD does not allow me to enable it and looks like it copies the sales stage values from Opportunity header.
Is there a way to enable Sales Process at the Product Revenue level ?

CRM Internet Sales B2B connectivity woth SAP SRM using OCI
Dear all,
we are trying to connect a CRM Internet Sales B2B with a apartner's SAP SRM procurement process. Reading several forum and articles I found that the url to be used by the SRM part is :

when however hitting this URL we get a system error :
The requested forward <b>ocireceive</b> is not defined on the action <b>com.sap.isa.isacore.action.b2b.StartApplicationAction</b>.
Any ideas?
do we need to setup anything else in CRM e-commerce in order for this to work??

R/3 Internet Sales & CRM Internet Sales -- Difference
Hi all,
Can anyone prompt me on the exact difference between an R/3 Internet sales and CRM internet sales.Suresh,
Internet Sales for CRM is the "full version" of the application designed for high-volume, heavy duty e-commerce processing. The CRM version actually was produced before the R/3 version. The R/3 version has most of the functionality of the R/3 version, but is more of a replacement for SAP online store. You will find in the service marketplace comparisons on what functionality is not present in the R/3 version.
I would personally recommend CRM version if you are looking at a heavy transactional volume/large catalog size. The R/3 version uses the product catalog in R/3 which is not as user friendly as the CRM product catalog. Honestly both solutions have the share the same "front-end" application logic and only differ in the backend application connection. You should evaluate what your business needs are and determine whether you the requirements/budget dicate a quick and easy e-commerce implementation(R/3 Internet Sales) or more complex implementation(CRM Internet Sales).
I have worked with SAP e-selling solutions since version 3.1H and would tell you can't go wrong with either product. Internet Sales(CRM) implementations tend to take more time than Internet Sales(R3). The reason being is the fact you have to setup a CRM system(middleware, rewrite your pricing exits, etc).

Cannot do MIGO in Third Party Sales Process with shipping notification
In the Third party sales process with Shipping notification,the item category for the material is TAS (Billing relevance=R),item category group is BANS.
Intially sales order is created,then using me21n with reference to purchase requisation purchase order is created,then in MIGO stage i used the PO No there but i get the message no item found in PO.
what adjustment have to be done in order to do MIGORefer following SDN thread, by that you will be able to get overview on best practices about Third Party Sales & necessary configuration you need to follow for statistical GR:
- Third party direct shipment (II)
Further maintain Billing Relevance for Item Category as G - Order-related billing of the delivery quantity.

Mass Update of Product hierarchy in all CRM Open Sales Orders
Hi Folks,
I have a requirement in my project wherein I have to update product hierarchy details with new values in all Items of CRM Open sales orders.
If suppose I have a text file which has the details of Open Orders & new product hierarchy which i have to update, then would it be recommended if I use BDC for this task. Can I Call Transaction CRMD_ORDER?
If someone has already gone through such requirement, Can you please suggest me how to proceed with this requirement. Using BDC or any other way which I can proceed with?

Nitish.You are correct in indicating that Exchange rate type field is not seen in Header data of sales order. I checked screen layouts for various screens for sales order data and this field is not suppressed. The only reason could be that this field is not used in sales order screens
If you are interested, you could also check in the following way
1. Go to SE11, enter database table as VBAK
2. Once inside data dictionary table, click where used list button, select programs and screens and execute
3. click continue (don't select background)
4. now you would have list of programs and screens, this table is used
5. now start another session and go to transaction SE51
6. indicate program name as SAPMV45A and screen numbers as listed in step 4. you can check all screen numbers to see whether Exchange rate type field is listed in sales order layout.
7. Of particular interest would be screen number 4311 as this contains Financial accounting data & 4303 Billing data
8. you can check screen layout for screen 4311 & 4303. you would see Exchange rate type field is not indicated.
9. in case you could find this field in any screen, you could ask your ABAP consultant to add this field in the layout screen.

I want to implement Extended warranty sales process in sap. Here, dealer will send extended warranty form to company. Company wants to capture warranty related information (such as Vehicle number, Chassis Number, Date) in sap and want to sell warranty to dealer.
Monthly once company will give discount to dealer based on performance. How to give discount to dealer monthly?
I want to know the following details:

I have created new sales document type for extended warranty sales. I am using variant material for capturing dealer's requirement in va01 itself.
Now my client dont want to create invoice for that sales order.
With this Extended warranty sales order reference, they will create manual posting in Finance.
Actually, they don't want to treat this as a revenue. This is a liability when they sell extended warranty to customer and after the extended warranty period is over (after 3 years), if the vehicle doesnt come for ext warranty claim then it will be treated as income.
Is it correct process to leave extended warranty order (sales order-va01) without doing billing ?How can i proceed further?

Credit Memo Request for intercompany sales process

I try to find SAP notes regardsing the credit memo request for intercompany related issue but I can
not find any nates. The customer return the goods with 2 different
scenario :-
-Return with credit
-Return with replacement.
Can anybody explain how this 2 scenario perform in the SAP

billing for order type RE.
Cust-Sales/distrib-Transactions-Billing-Intercompany billing-Order types
Intercompany billing always refers to a delivery
Processing flow will be:
1. Create returns request invoice receipt (with or w/out reference)
2. Create returns delivery and goods receipt
3. Create credit memo invoice receipt for customer for 1.
4. Create internal credit memo for 2.
Therefore you must make the following entries in the document flow
for billing documents:
Target BillType DlvType ItemCat
a) IG LR
b) IG LR REN
Parameters for entries:
For a) Copying requirement: 14 Dlv.-rel.header IV
Copy item no.: x (Check and decide yourself)
For b)Copying requirement: 15 Dlv.rel. item IV

Actually I would like to use the Catalog Area Type (maintained in trx COMM_PCAT_ADM on Catalog Area Header level). This field doesn't seem to be available in J2EE webshop. (The field documentation says it is for documentation purposes only so I don't expect it to be transferred).
As this field is not readily available, I would like to add is as an attribute to the Catalog Area. BADI's PCAT_IMS_FEED_ATT and PCAT_IMS_FEED_VAL seem to indicate that it should be possible to add additional fields not only on product level, but also on Area level:
Example implementation code:

In Exports sales process, how you configure the Duty Draw Back
in my case
we r creating Exports but
duty unavailability of time and time taking process in export processing
we are creating Excise invoice and cenvat is debited .
now we r asking the govt. for the duty draw back for the value already cenvat is debited with proper documents like ARE1 etc.
how to manage this duty back and what r the replications or changes thereafter

Sales process with commission agent

I am having a problem and need your solution. Pls, help me, thanks for advance.
My customer's company have a sales process with commision agent. It mean they pay the commission fee when selling some goods. In this process:
- They post a invoice to customer: (SD module)
Dr: Receivable acc
Cr: Revenue
- They receive a incoming invoice from Agent: (MM module, they buy a agency services)
Dr: sales expenditure
Cr: Payable
You know, SAP is intergration system, so Incoming invoice should go along with Sales process. It mean SAP will automatically create a Purchasing order (to purchase agency service) when sales man input a Goods on SO (with specific Item Category).
It seem like to third-party process. But the problem is: when u input material A in SO, SAP will use "Transfer Requirement" to create a PO for material A (Third-party process). But in sales process with commission agent , how to SAP craeate a PO for service B (agency service) , when u input material A in SO ??? Can we do configuration for this???
Tell me if u have other approach, this key-factors are: Incoming invoice from Agency should go along with Sales process.
