Cross currency issue in Sales Document

Hi,
We have two company code whose local currency are INR for company one and USD for company two.At present we maintain USD to INR and INR to USD.But we want to maintain only USD to INR.And system should automatically determine the INR to USD rate in the sales document.
How should i go about it?
Regards,
SATYA

Hi,
Ya,we maintain it that way only.
But its not happening.Whenever i make a sales order for a company code whose local currency is USD and if i make a order in INR then system is throwing an error message saying"Exchange rate from INR to USD not maintained for a a date".
Is there any other configuration need to be done ?
Thanx for your reply

  • Issue With Sales Document Type in BW.

    Dear Experts,
I am facing an Issue with Sales Document Type(Object name is 0DOC_TYPE).
when i am loading data from R/3 to BW It is converting Sales Document type as follow
Sales Document Type in R/3                         Sales Document Type in BW
    OR                                                                        TA
    CR                                                                        G2
    DR                                                                        L2
I check with an ABAPer and he told that there is conversion exit for this Object so that's why it is converting when sending to BW. But the user wants to see in Report same as it is in R/3 like OR, CR DR ... etc.
I have done some investigation and found that the conversion exit (CONVERSION_EXIT_AUART_INPUT and CONVERSION_EXIT_AUART_OUTPUT) are converting the values based in the table TAUUM
    The staructure of TAUUM is
MANDT(Client)  SPRAS(Language) AUART(Sales document type (not converted)   AUART_SPR(Language key for sales document type)
    and values are
    100 E TA OR
    100 E G2 CR
    etc....
The same Conversion exits(CONVERSION_EXIT_AUART_INPUT and CONVERSION_EXIT_AUART_OUTPUT) and table TAUUM are available in BW as well. So i thought I can Use InfoObject 0DOC_TYPE by changing it's conversion Routine as AUART(which runs based on the above mentioned conversion exits).
but the the problem is table TAUUM(Pool Table) does't have any data in BW.
So can anyone tell me is there any option to load data into table TAUUM from R/3 or any other option to solve this issue.
Your ideas will really help's me.
    Thanks in advance,
    Dara.

    Hi Venkat,
Thanks a lot for your immediate response.
The InfoObject 0DOC_TYPE was without conversion exit by default. but when data coming from R/3 it is converting and sending to BW So that's why i am planning to use conversion exit "AUART" in the info Object.
I checked data in R/3 using RSA3 it is showing sales document type as "OR" and for the same transaction data when i checked in PSA it is showing as "TA".
Could you please let me know if there any other options.
    Thanks in advance,
    Dara.

  • Billing Currency Differs from Sales Document

    Hi all
I have a scenario where in the Sales document is having currency USD. At the time of creating the sales order the document currency is changed to EUR. Header condition is entered manually (FREIGHT) for which the currency is entered as EUR. Created the susequent documents delivery & billing. In billing the currency of the FREIGHT is coming in USD, other condition types are coming in EUR. Can anyone please help me in knowing why it is coming like this.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Cross Currency Issue

    Hi All,
    Please clarify about Cross Currency.
    We are maintaining following currencies
    Company code Currecny    AED
    Global Currency                 USD
    Group Currency                 SAR
Exchange Rates table has been maitained for
AED (Company code) To SAR (Group)
AED  (Company code) to USD (Global)
We have also maintianed Exchange rate for
JPY to AED - for posting in JPY currency (Foreign Currency)
During Document posting in JPY currency, system is asking to maintain JPY to SAR currency.
My doubt, system should calculate automatically JPY to SAR
with exchange rates maintained in table for following.
    1) JPY to AED
    2) AED to SAR.
    Waiting for inputs.
    Regards
    Velu Mudaliar

You have parallel currencies (additional local currencies) activated.
There is no SAP terminology called Global Currency. SAP uses the terminology hard currency. When parallel currencies are activated, you have company code currency (AED) and 2 more currencies (Hard currency- USD and Group currency- SAR)
When the company is doing a foreign currency transaction (JPY), the system will do the currency translation as follows, since you have parallel currencies (additional local currencies).
    JPY to AED
    JPY to USD
    JPY to SAR
all currency translation at the same time.
SAP system will not use JPY to AED and then AED to SAR.
You need to maintain fx translation values from JPY to SAR as well, which will resolve your problem
The system has fx translation values from JPY to USD and hence it is not asking for the same.

  • Issue in sales document

    Hi
According to company scenario, there are sales order in bulk of same customer.in these no of documents some items are repeating also.
so after placing sales order production person updates sales order on opening back order which shows list of orders party wise by changing the delievry date in each row of item because he has to run MRP on that delievry date basis.
For doing this he has to apply a long procedure which includes, opening of back order sorting it party wise, and then opening all those sales order one by one and then alloting delievry date in each row of items as per preference.so that MRP can be run on this delievry date base.
It is very time consuming. please suggest me easier and correct way to simplify this.
    Thanks

    Ok.
According to scenario, in the no. of sales order some items are preferred to be delivered first and for this MRP of only those items are RUN.
Now, As the MRP RUN is on the basis of delievry date of items so the production men changes the delivery date in each rows of those items(by enabling del. date from form setting) which are preferred to be dispatched first and then while MRP Running this date range is entered in MRP window so that proper requirement of only those items can be shown.
Problem is for achieving this result we have to apply a long method which includes first opening the backorder by opening open item list, sorting party wise, then opening each document one by one and then changing del. date in row of all those items which are preferred first and then we update the sales order
This is very time consuming please suggest easy and correct method.

  • Conversion from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 issue with Sales Document Category K

    Hello.
My company is upgrading from a 4.6C system to an SAP ECC 6.0. We have batch management on for all materials. There was a bug in SAP 4.6C which allowed the creation of a Credit memo request, (SD Document Category H), and the user did not have to enter a valid batch as part of the creation process using VA01. The batch checking was skipped. This was not realized until the process failed in testing for ECC 6.0. These types of documents are create manually and via IDOC's.
ECC 6.0 contains the fix for the bug and the check is now being invoked for batches OSS Note 740397 describes the bug and fix. Is there a way using configuration to have the batch check be turned off during credit memo request creation? In debugging the code this does not seems possible. It appears from the abap code this is not possible and based upon the Category H a batch is required. Just checking.
I have change the SD Document Category to H*(Returns) and the Screen Sequence to be RE(Returns). The user and the IDOC can now enter existing batches and non existing batches. The problem now is the processing of the  Orders IDOC is somehow not storing the quantity. I have debugged the IDOC processing, the IDOC is using call transaction, and I see the quantity is to be populated in the properly in the BDC table used by the call transcation. Yet it is not on the return delivery once the IDOC processes.  Any idea why or which field from the IDOC should be populated? I am assuming that the processing of the Credit memo request and the Return is different from an IDOC perspective and will require different fields to be populated. Not sure just a thought.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Bob

  • Defaulting Document Currency in Sales Documents

    Hi,
We have a requirement where in we need to default the document currency in a sales document based on certain rules.
As far as i know, the document gets picked up automatically if a Billing currency is maintained in the Sales Area data of the Sold to party.
Just wanted to find out is there any other way by which we can pick the currency in a document ? I am looking at non custom ways of achieving this.
    Thanks in advance

  • Sales Document Flow - Ref. Value not showing correct currency

I have a question about document flow currency in ECC6.0.  We recented upgraded to ECC6.0 from 4.7 and noticed the changes to document flow.  We are a US based company with sales offices in Europe.  Our European offices are finding that that document flow in ECC6.0 shows in base currency of USD.  Even thought the sales order was entered in EUR euros.  Is this intended to be this way; since it is causing our offices in Europe some confusion?  I searched forums an SAP notes and did not find any references.  Has anyone see this in ECC6.0
Example Document Flow: Line Level (I do not see Ref Value at header level)
Note Sales Document was entered in EUR euros.
Document     Quantity     Unit     Ref. Value     Currency
    Standard Order 0025082768 / 10     12 EA     5,207.54 USD
    ...Delivery 0080211725 / 10     12 EA
    .....Picking request 20100423 / 10     12 EA
    .....Handling unit 0001221687 / 1     12 EA
    .....GD goods issue:delvy 4901261948 / 1     12 EA     1,690.08 GBP
    ...Invoice 0092006736 / 10                           12 EA     5,207.55 USD
    Accounting document 0092006736     12 EA
If I highlight top line in document flow, I see the following in lower part of screen.  This is the currency entered on the sales order.
    0025082768     10          12     EA     3,847.80     EUR

    Smile,
Thanks for pointing those configuration points out.   I checked my system and found the following.  I do not see any change documents for the configuration points, so they have been set this way since our implemenation in 2005.
XD02 is customer master change, the customer on my order is set to EUR in sales in distribution tabs.
    OX02 - Company Code
    1000     Middleton     USD...ok
    2000     London     GBP   ok
    2100     Munich     EUR...ok
    2210     Amsterdam     EUR...ok
    4000     Hong Kong     USD...ok
I think OVX5 is not set correctly, should be same as OX02.  If I change them, do I need to run an update in the system for old data?  Or is it as simple as changing the value here?  I'm hesitant to change this not knowing how this will affect the system.  Do you know?
    OVX5 - Sales Org
    1000     Middleton     USD...ok
2000     London     USD   should be GBP
2100     Munich     USD   should be EUR
    2210     Amsterdam     USD...should be EUR
    4000     Hong Kong     USD...ok
    Thanks,

  • Sales document currency

    Hi Guys,
I am facing this peculiar condition where even after maintaining the currency in the customer master as USD the document currency in the sales order is showing as INR.
Below is a detailed explanation of what exactly is happening.
I have maintained the currency in customer master as USD. Now when i create a sales order after entering the sold to party and the PO no. a pop up box appears which says "Exchange rate will be redetermined". Now when I go to header details there it shows as INR. Now if i refresh the currency then it displays USD with the conversion rate. If I  come out of this screen and go to item details there it shows INR and when I come back to the header details again the currency is resetted to INR.
I got it checked with the FI consultant he says that the currency conversion customisation has no faults.
Please advise on this issue. Appreciate your help.
    Thanks in advance.
    Zak

To my knowledge, there are two options to check.
    1) Check in <b>OC41</b>, whether you have assigned currency exchange rates  and
    2) Check in <b>OB59</b> whether you have defined all tabs under “Exchange Rate Determination”
I am not sure whether this will help you but if it helps, don’t forget to reward points.
    Thanks

  • STWAE-Change a statistics currency in sales document

    Hi,
I have 5 Sales Order and 4 Bills with a statistics currency and I need to change this statics currency by another.
Someone known if is it possible this change? How?
    Thanks in advance!
    XeviG.

    Hi,
Document currency is the currency appearing at the header of the document under "Pricing and Statistics " tab. The field label is "Doc Currency". Hence there is no mistaking it. It can flow from the customer master , or can be manually entered in the sales order.
Condition record currency is the currency one enters at the line item level.
System will always convert the item level value into document currency value. For instance, if the line item amount is 100 USD and doc currency is INR, then condition value will be 4000 INR, if the exchange rate is 40 INR / USD. Also please note that net value of the line item and sales document will always be in document currency.

  • Issues in creating Sales Document Type

I am creating a new Sales Document Type, but the problem is this that the "Probability"  &
"Incompl. Proced"  fields are disabled and I am unable to enter record in this field , please help me out that how can I enter values in these fields.

    Hi shadab ali
You will be configuring  the Incompletion procedure in SPRO->basic functions->Incompletion log procedure.
There to your sales document type an incompletion log will be assigned and that incompletion log will be getting grayed out. So if you want to change you need to change in in Incompletion log procedure. And the probability will be getting grayed out as it is determined by the Sales document  category .That is the reason if you see for document type IN the probability will be different and if you see for document type QT probability will be different but if you see for document type OR the probability will be 100%.Generally it gets copied from the CMR also.
