Crpe32.dll failing to load

I am receiving an error on the production computers that I am installing my windows app on
System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.CRPE' threw an exception. ---> CrystalDecisions.Shared.CrystalReportsException: Could not load C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\crpe32.dll.
Funny though that on a virtual machine that I am installing it on with a ghosted image of the failing computers, I am not getting this error.
Should I have the user restart their PC before loading the app
Any help would be appreaciated.

Yes, there are other options also, we also have Merge Modules but those require all MS dependencies to be included also by you. The MSI includes all of the dependencies. You can not simply include the CR runtime in your app for distribution, CR does not install properly that way.
You also must include the VS 2005 dependencies because of 2.0 framework dependencies we have. Typically most PC's have them install already. The MS C++ Security runtime distribution package is what we are looking for. Search MS's site for the MSI package you can include also in your distribution package.
You can include the MSI in your package along with your app, or because the MSI is a standalone installer it can be run separately.
Thank you

Hmm, the exception definately shouldnt happen - no matter what else may have occurred on your machine.
Have you ever used the RSA authenticator? The aceclnt.dll is supplied by RSA and installed into system32 when you install the RSA client tools CD.
If yes, its possible the OS upgrade managed to nuke the DLL accidentally. ALthough the error message "Failed to load aceclnt.dll" is actually quite normal. I get this and dont have RSA support installed.
I think this will require a call to the TAC as you probably need a developer to track the crash... the sort thing I used to do!

  • After installing update itune 10.5 will not open or run on windows 7 pc keeps telling me error 7 126 and that AVFoundationCF.dll failed to load. reinstall.I have done the complete 6part unistall 10 times now and each time I get the same thing anyone have

So I installed the latest update of Itune on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit PC.( the previous versions worked fine never a problem)
It installs, and comes up with error7 126. Reinstall program again.
So I go through all six steps to unistall, and reinstall a frsh downloaded compy of 64 bit Itune from Apple Site. and reinstall again and again, went through this process 10 times still having same problem, including now also comes up with AVFoundationCF.dll missing, try to install that won't install.
So now I can not use anything apple, iteunes, safari, update etc, nothing will work, which means I can no lobger sync or update my Iphone 4S.
Does anyone have an answer for me????

I'm an applications developer and also run a part-time videography business. As such, I require more than 3.12GB of RAM. That is the physical limitation of a 32bit system. Pointless to stay on 32bit if you plan on having more than that much RAM.
I'm also not about to pay someone to fix my PC when I can do it myself. I was originally hoping for someone who had experienced the problem before to point me in the right direction so I didn't have to spend so much time trying to figure out what the issue was for myself.
Basically, in the end the problem was caused because right at the point in time when I chose to uninstall, and reinstall; Apple released a new version of iTunes. This version in turn had a requirement of iOS 4.2 to sync with the iPhone. This is a pretty embarrassing for Apple that they would release software reliant on other software before said software was released.
Had I realised I was downloading a newer version at the initial point of installation, this wouldn't have been an issue. I could've easily have rolled back iTunes to the previous version and gotten on with my life.
Another issue is that iTunes is not actually a 64 bit application. It masquerades as one to allow installation on the 64 bit platform.

  • Exchange Server 2007 (The HTTP Filter DLL C:\.......\AirFilter.dll failed to load . The data is the error.

    Hello guys,
    I'm testing some stuff in my  virtual Lab. I have 1 DC 2008 SP2 with Ex2007SP1 + 1 Transport Edge 2008 SP2 - EX2007SP1 .
    I added 2 new Servers in my "domain.local"  : DC2012 and 2012R2+EX2013.
To respect the coexistance of Ex07 and Ex2013 i had to upgrade Ex07 to SP3. The upgrade was perfect and it didn't show any issue but the localhost/owa does not work . I didn't find nothing regarding this error , I found 3 articles  but they were useless.
Could You please Help me ? Now i'm installing RU10 .
    Thank You,

I'm not sure this is really permission related, but I have found 3 completely different solutions to this error, but they are worth a try...

    Thanks,

    Hello -
    Try this:
    - When you receive the error message that is described in the "Symptoms" section, click Restart.
    - Press F8 repeatedly as your computer begins to restart. This triggers the Windows Advanced Options menu.
    - Use the arrows on your keyboard to select Last Known Good Configuration, and then press ENTER.
(Also, You can try Safe Mode and do a "System Restore" from there.)
***Last Resort, you will have to edit the registry and this may prevent your computer from booting***
    - boot your system and tap away at F8
    - Select Safe Mode
    - After Windows loads into safe mode.
    - Start >> Run >> “regedit” Press Enter.
    - Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
    - Look for the GinaDLL Key
    - Select and delete this key and this key ONLY. DO NOT delete the entire Winlogon folder of keys.
    - Close Regedit with the RED "X"and reboot the machine

  • Module oc30 failed to load

Norton Security removed the file oc30.dll in response to a trojan infection. On startup I now get the error message from RegSvr32: The module "C:\Users\JaL\AppData\Local\Adobe\oc30.dll" failed to load.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Reader and have now uninstalled all Adobe software. I have even used the Reader cleaning tools to be sure. I still get the message.
There is a trace of oc30.dll in the registry along with the name "Adobe Updater." Do I need to replace oc30.dll or remove the registry key, or is there something else entirely that I am missing?

oc30.dll is not an Adobe file; it may be a legitimate (Microsoft) module but it does not belong into that location.
This is obviously a remnant of the malware infection, that Norton did not bother to clean up.  You will have to manually remove that entry from your startup list.

  • HTTP Filter DLL E:\Program Files\SAP\ITS\6.20\programs\wgate.dll failed

    Hi All,
I have installed fresh IIS 6.0 and 620 ITS on Windows Server 2003 (32-bit). While im trying to browse the link im getting service not available.
On event viewer i found below errors.
0000: c1 00 00 00 The HTTP Filter DLL E:\Program Files\SAP\ITS\6.20\programs\wgate.dll failed to load.  The data is the error.
0000: c1 00 00 00 Could not load all ISAPI filters for site/service.  Therefore startup aborted.
Could someone help us to resolve the problem
    Deepak

    Hi Vikas/Ashish,
It seems its all related to your Windows OS...When you see the above situation when you are trying to install an ISAPI Filter, the best way to troubleshoot is to look in the Windows Event Log for error event entries from either W3SVC or W3SVC-WP regarding a failure to load the HTTP Filter DLL. The "data" of the error is the most important piece of information used to diagnose the failure to load/run an ISAPI Filter.

  • CRVS2010 Beta - Could not load crpe32.dll

    then
    LoadReport failed
I am using Beta 2 and have the 32 bit runtime installed on my development machine alone with VS 2010 Ultimate.
Here is the code at that spot.
                   this.report = new ReportDocument();
                   string reportToLoad = @"d:\Receipt.rpt";
                    this.report.Load(reportToLoad);
                    this.reportViewer.ViewerCore.ReportSource = this.report;
I checked the directory and crpe32.dll is there.

Solved it. I removed both the beta 2 and the runtime beta 2 and reinstalled both. It works fine.

  • URGENT HELP NEEDED 'Acrobat failed to load its Core DLL'

My Adobe Reader was working fine until I needed to open a PDF the other day to which I received this message 'Acrobat failed to load its Core DLL'. I had a problem with it in the past with an error code ending in '142' but I managed to solve this myself. Now this has appeared and I'm stumped. I am currently running windows 8.1 and have the most up-to-date Adobe Reader XI.
I haven't changed anything to my computer for it to interrupt the program. I have read the forums on here and elsewhere. I have:
    Un-installed and re-installed the program
Repaired the program through the control panel
I have run the TDSSKiller from Kaspersky which didn't find anything
I have previously run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software including the 'rootkit' option. Unfortunately I fell asleep and so did my computer so I lost everything from the scan (it takes hours for this scan) so I am currently running it today.
I've conducted other advice that people have suggested on previous forums/discussions but it still hasn't been fixed
If there is anything I could try then could someone please help me as this is very urgent!
Thank you so much in advance for any comments or suggestions.

Thank you for your reply but I have done everything on that page yet it still does not work :/
    Laura,
In that case the only way is to uninstall the reader completely from the system and then to reinstall it.  The process is to use the Adobe cleaner and this is a free tool from Adobe downloadable from this link:
<Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs>
Download the tool and save it on your desktop or in a temporary folder.  then right-click on it and extract the files.  After extracting the files, run the file called: "AdbeArCleaner_v2.exe".  Then follow the simple instructions given on the screen.
After the uninstall is completed, you need to restart the machine before you can install the reader again.
Hope this helps but please post back if this didn't work so that further help can be given.
