CRS-084

Question

Hi
I'm installing RAC under VMWARE, when I execute crsctl start crs I receive the CRS stack will be started shortely, when I execute crs_stat -t I receive CRS-184 enable to commujicate with CRS. I cann't find any think in the log files.

i have given permission in /etc/rc.local as below
#OCR
chown root:oinstall /dev/mapper/ocr
chmod 775 /dev/mapper/ocr
raw /dev/raw/raw1 /dev/mapper/ocrp1
sleep 2
chown root:oinstall /dev/raw/raw1
chmod 775 /dev/raw/raw1
#voting
chown oracle:oinstall /dev/mapper/voting**
chmod 660 /dev/mapper/voting*
raw /dev/raw/raw2 /dev/mapper/votingp1
sleep 2
chown oracle:oinstall /dev/raw/raw2
chmod 660 /dev/raw/raw2
this is for RHEL5 so im using device mapper thru multipath.conf , same configuration node1 is fine, did not find why is causing in node2, fyi #ls -l /dev command uotput of node1 contains ocr and voting but in node2 not appearing
#raw -qa has same in both node as below
[root@AEBDATA2 ~]# raw -qa
/dev/raw/raw1: bound to major 253, minor 15
/dev/raw/raw2: bound to major 253, minor 14
[root@AEBDATA2 ~]# ll /dev/raw
total 0
crwxrwxr-x 1 root oinstall 162, 1 Jan 2 12:50 raw1
crw-rw---- 1 oracle oinstall 162, 2 Jan 2 12:50 raw2
[root@AEBDATA2 ~]#
