Hi
You can download the following for reading your reports
SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010
But if you want to deploy your application on production machine then you would require following depending upon the OS(32 bit or 64 bit).
SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (32-bit)
SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (64-bit)
Please go through following for more info:

    Question about download file in OAS4:
    I use Oracle Application Server 4.0.7 on my Windows NT 4.0 SP6;
    I use PL/Sql Cartridge developer a document system; It's use the
    upload/download in PL/Sql Cartridge;
    I read the document , the Upload/download in Pl/Sql Base on the
    Oracle Application Server's Content Service. the Problem is when I
    download a document, If I upload a Html or MsWord file, It will store in a LongRaw column, when me download ; It's tell me can't
    find a application to open this file; I will select a application
    from list to open the download file;
    As normal, It will open MsWord Automatic when download a "doc" file ; also It will open a new window of Browser to view a Html file;
    I check the download process on client Browser; when download

    Also the download File will lost the postfix of the file,
    So Browser don't open the File Automatic;
    I think If I set the correct Content-Type , Browser can know how open the file; So I use owa_content.set_content_type procedure

    I have a Tecra M2 and rely on your email update to ensure I have the latest drivers on my machine.
    When I received a Toshiba support email on 14 April 2005 giving reference to a QFE from Microsoft I assumed it would be necessary for my Tecra.
    I was very confused when I found that this QFE and subsequent ones posted on the 16 April 2005 relate to Pre SP2 critical updates no9t required if one has already taken earlier advice of updating to Service Pack, at the very least your narrative should make mention of this. I find it very difficult to believe that your updates are two+ years out of date.

  • CRVS2010 Beta- Some Installation files are corrupt

    Hello,
    I am trying to download the CRVS2010 beta.  It downloads and when I run the cr4vs2010.exe I get this error:
    "Some installation files are corrupt.
    Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation"
    I have tried redownloading multiple times with different browsers to no avail.  I need this downloaded ASAP as we have multiple crystal reports that were ported over from VS 2008.
    Please Help.

    Hi Burns,
    I just downloaded from the US link and ran the installer and it worked for me. It extracted all of the files and it appears the setup engine is almost the last file it extracts.
    I believe this is a permission issue. Does it get as far to create this folder:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\InstallData\logs
    or any \SAP BusinessObjects folders?
    Try adding the EXE's to the trusted list in your Anti-virus software and/or firewall and or anywhere else Windows may be blocking executables.
    Thank you

  • N8 - Questions about downloading files

    Hi,
    Just wanted to know if there was an option in Nokia N8 Belle to clear completed downloads from the download screen while another download is going on? I use the default Nokia web browser and I couldn't find the option but only if there were no active downloads, I can clear the download screen. But while there is one download running, I want to clear the rest of downloaded files from the screen. Is this possible?
    Also is there any download manager for Belle that could let you save passwords for filesharing sites to download from them quickly and also queue multiple downloads?

    Regarding clearing download list while downloading, there is nothing you can do except wait for the currect download to finish.
    And there isn't any download manager which can save password for sites yet.
    Keep looking in Store.

  • Questions about downloading files

    I've a friend that wants me to download & burn some free files for her, but I'm not very familiar with the particular files. The site has options to download lossless "FLAC" files or "VBR MP3" files. Should I download the VBR MP3 and burn to disc?
    TIA,
    Geoff

    FLAC (info here) is a lossless audio codec and has better audio quality than MP3 VBR.
    But MP3 VBR (lossy) can sound almost as good as FLAC, depending on the bit rate and the audio system.
    You might not even notice the difference when played through 'standard' equipment.
    iTunes doesn't support FLAC however.
    You have to convert the files first (to AIFF) before adding to the library.
    You can use xACT to do that.
    Try MP3s first. The audio quality might be sufficient.
    Hope this helps.

  • Newbie question about downloading files

    Is downloading extra updates, music, etc, risky for your phone, in regards to glitches? Does adding too many applications slow things down?

    Anything can cause a glitch these days. Always do some research before downloading and installing something.
    You can have many apps installed but, running all of them can slow it down a bit.
    Make sure you close your apps when done.
    Music should not affect it if stored on the memory card but when you play them it will scan all the files for changes and that might take a bit if you download a lot at once.

    Hi,
    Try this way...
    TRANSFER dobj TO dset [LENGTH len]
                                          [NO END OF LINE].
    Addition 1
    ... LENGTH len
    Effect
    This addition determines how many characters or how many bytes of data object dobj are written to the file. len is expected to be a data object of type i that contains the number of characters or bytes. In text files, the content of len specifies the number of characters that are written from the storage. For binary files, legacy text file, and legacy binary files, len specifies the number of bytes that are written to the file. The first len characters or bytes are transferred and alignment gaps are included in the structures. If the addition LENGTH is not specified, all characters or bytes are transferred.
    If the value of len is less than or equal to 0, no characters or bytes are transferred. If the file is opened as a (legacy) text file, however, a line end marker is inserted into the file by default. If the value of len is greater than the number of characters or bytes in dobj, hexadecimal 0 or blank characters are transferred to the file instead of the missing bytes or characters, depending on whether the file was opened as a (legacy) text file or a (legacy) binary file.

  • CRVS2010 Beta - Export rpt file with missing parameter

    Hello,
    for my application I have some parameters that I use to filter my data. The thing is, some of these parameters I want to define in my application but others I want to be inputed by the user every time he loads the report.
    For this I just didn't assign values for these parameters, but when I try to export the report to rpt format I get an exception of missing parameters.
    If I try the same using the Save method, when I load the report it asks me for all the parameter values, including the ones I assigned before.
    Can someone tell me if it is possible to do this thing (leave some blank parameters to be assigned at load time)?
    Thank you very much

    Hello,
    Try creating the sample application with fewer parameters in the report.
    While passing the parameter values from code use :
    crReportDocument.SetParameterValue("ParameterName", "Value");
    Sample applications are available here:

  • About download file

    I have a jsp file, which shows some links to pdf files. but the IE will fire the application to open the pdf files, not to give a savefile dialog. How could i realize that?
    thx!

    Actually you have to create script that changes default mime-type for that pdf (also you can change it globaly if it is not an issue).
    If you do it from the program, there is a trick with IE - you have to change it to some mime-type which IE saves without checking document's content.
    So you will have servlet like this -
    response.setHeader("Content-Type", "application/x-msdownload");
    response.addHeader("Content-disposition", "attachment;filename=some.pdf");
    InputStream is = new FileInputStream("some.pdf");
    OutputStream os = response.getOutputStream();
    byte arr[] = new byte[4096];
    int i = 0;
    while ((i = is.read(arr)) != -1) {
    os.write(arr, 0, i);
    os.flush();

  • CRVS2010 Beta - Cannot find documentation on what needs to be installed

    My question is very elementary but I do not see anything in the release notes, etc. that tells me which of the 3 install files I need to iinstall or do I need to install all of them.
    1 - SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio 2010
    2 - SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (32-bit)
    3 - SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework 4 (64-bit)
    I want access to the WPF component in VS 2010 on a Win 7 64bit machine
    Do I install all 3?? In what order? 1 - 2 - 3 as I've shown?
    I have Crystal 2008 installed on my machine. Must I uninstall it to use the Crystal VS 2010 beta on that machine.
    To date I tried installing just #1 above. I went into my VS 2010 selected the WPF and it blew up VS 2010, I tried doing the same with Winform and it also took out VS 2010.
    I have since uninstalled everything. Could someone explain the procedure(s) for making the beta available to VS 2010 with a little more detail.
    Thanks

  • Downloading files - can I block the empty file from appearing at all? I'm not talking about the .part file, but the one that disappears later anyways.

    Let's say I'm downloading several files, for each file that I'm downloading two new files appear in my download folder. For 'vol1.rar' I have ''an empty'' 'vol1.rar' and a 'vol1.rar.part' file, same for 'vol2.rar', 'vol3.rar', etc.
    I would like to block this empty 'vol1.rar' file from appearing at all - it disappears after the download is finished anyway, and the .part file gets renamed with the actual name.
    I'm downloading files to my desktop, from where I move them to the folders I want them in - having this disappearing 2nd file messes up the order I download the files in - if I add a new file after one of the files I was downloading has finished, the file be placed in the empty spot that the finished file has created, making it harder for me to move to the correct folder.
    A lot of people have asked if it was possible to turn off the .part file, but I haven't seen a single thread about the empty file instead.
    I know this file isn't necessary, because I moved it to another folder/deleted it many times before the download was finished and the real file was still fine.
    So, any ideas as to how to block this file?

    I don't believe there is any way to prevent file downloading if you allow internet access at all. as Király says, whatever they download and install will be limited to the guest account and will go poof on the logout.
    however you can disable CD/DVD and external drives access. some of it can be done by enabling parental controls on the guest account. for more options you can install server admin tools
    http://support.apple.com/downloads/ServerAdmin_Tools_105
    and use workgroup manager to set further restrictions on the guest account.
    P.S. workgroup manager can also forbid guest to mount disk images which will effectively make it impossible to install any programs at all even in the guest account.

  • About "Upload and download files from ADF into blob type colum."

    hi
    Using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0 I have tried the example available for download from this blog post by Jakub Pawlowski:
    "Upload and download files from ADF into blob type colum."
    at http://kuba.zilp.pl/?id=1
    First a thank you to Jakub for this interesting example.
    I have a question about a PDF file that I uploaded using the example.
    The file has a size of 10445518 bytes.
    After I upload that file, the blob column has a value with a size of 10445516 bytes, 2 bytes less.
    SQL> select file_name, dbms_lob.getlength(stored_file) from blob_table;
    FILE_NAME
    DBMS_LOB.GETLENGTH(STORED_FILE)
    ADF-DeveloperGuide-4GL-B25947_01.pdf
                           10445516If I download that file using the example, it has the same size as the blob value, 10445516 bytes.
    If I open the downloaded file, using Adobe Reader 8.1.1, it first shows this message:
    "The file is damaged but is being repaired."
    After that, there is not problem using the PDF file in Adobe Reader.
    I have tried this with both Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 2.0.0.11.
    I have also tried this with other (smaller) files, and those upload and download correctly.
    question:
    Why are those 2 bytes lost during upload?
    many thanks
    Jan Vervecken

    Hi!
    I can only post you my code that works for me and as I said I had same problems but can't remember what solved them. My code:
      public void fileUploaded(ValueChangeEvent event)
        FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
        UploadedFile file = (UploadedFile) event.getNewValue();
        if (file != null && file.getLength() > 0)
          // here I have some messages written and a call to the method on AM to save the uploaded file to the DB
      private BlobDomain newBlobDomainForInputStream(InputStream in)
        throws SQLException, IOException
        BlobDomain loBlob = new BlobDomain();
        OutputStream out = loBlob.getBinaryOutputStream();
        writeInputStreamToWriter(in, out);
        in.close();
        out.close();
        return loBlob;
      private static void writeInputStreamToWriter(InputStream in,
                                                   OutputStream out)
        throws IOException
        byte[] buffer = new byte[8192];
        int charsRead = 0;
        while ((charsRead = in.read(buffer, 0, 8192)) != -1)
          out.write(buffer, 0, charsRead);
       * Launch the upload - see fileUploaded() for actual upload handling.
       * @return null navigation event - we stay on this page
      public String UploadButton_action()
        if (this.getMyInputFile().getValue() == null)
          FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
          FacesMessage message =
            new FacesMessage(FacesMessage.SEVERITY_WARN, JSFUtils.getStringFromBundle("fileupload.emptyfielderror"),
                             null);
          context.addMessage(this.getMyInputFile().getId(), message);
        return null;
       * Setter for inputFile UI Component.
       * @param inputFile inputFile UI component
      public void setMyInputFile(CoreInputFile inputFile)
        this.myInputFile = inputFile;
       * Getter for inputFile UI Component.
       * @return inputFile UI component
      public CoreInputFile getMyInputFile()
        return myInputFile;
      }fileUploaded is a valueChangeListener on inputFile and UploadButton_action is as the name says the action for upload button.
    Hope this helps. If not, than your problem is probably not the same as mine was, although the message about file corrupted was the same.
    Next thing you can check in this case is if your file exceeds max file upload size. I don't know the exact default value, but if the file is too long I think this upload logic will upload only a part of the file and save it to the DB which can also lead to the same file corrupted error.
    You can set the max upload value in web.xml like this:
    <context-param>
    <!-- Maximum memory per request (in bytes) -->
    <param-name>oracle.adf.view.faces.UPLOAD_MAX_MEMORY</param-name>
    <!-- Use 5000K -->
    <param-value>5120000</param-value>
    </context-param>
    <context-param>
    <!-- Maximum disk space per request (in bytes) -->
    <param-name>oracle.adf.view.faces.UPLOAD_MAX_DISK_SPACE</param-name>
    <!-- Use 10,000K -->
    <param-value>15360000</param-value>
    </context-param>

    Hi Ravi
    Check out thses links for examples:

    Otherwise you can simply follow this code for file download
    Use the code like this.
    1) Create the button and bind the action for it.
    2)then write this code in the action.
    3) do not write any thing in the init method.
    try {
    final byte[] content = this.getByteArrayFromResourcePath("C:
    xyz.properties");
    final IWDCachedWebResource resource = WDWebResource.getWebResource(content, WDWebResourceType.UNKNOWN);
    try {
    final IWDWindow window = wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager().createExternalWindow(resource.getAbsoluteURL(), "WD_Filedownload", false);
    window.open();
    catch(Exception e)
    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException(new WDNonFatalException(e), false);
    5) writr the method getByteArrayFromResourcePath
    //@@begin others
    private byte[] getByteArrayFromResourcePath(String resourcePath)
    throws FileNotFoundException, IOException {
    FileInputStream in = new FileInputStream(new File(resourcePath));
    ByteArrayOutputStream out = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
    int len;
    byte[] part = new byte[10 * 1024];
    while ((len = in.read(part)) != -1) {
    out.write(part, 0, len);
    in.close();
    return out.toByteArray();
    //end
    Similarly for file upload
    Similarly for upload in to server path also do the same
    IWDAttributeInfo attInfo =
    wdContext.getNodeInfo().getAttribute("upload");
    binaryType =
    (IWDModifiableBinaryType) attInfo.getModifiableSimpleType();
    uploadedName = binaryType.getFileName();
    File filename =new File("
    <server name>
    <folder name>
    "+uploadedName ); );
    try {
    FileOutputStream out = new FileOutputStream(filename);

    Hello,
    I have been attempting to download Oracle 8i for linux and my connection appears to get broken during the file transfer. The file is over 500 Mb but I have only managed to receive about 150 Mb before the connection was lost.
    The file appears to be a tar but is not compressed. Could the file be compressed to minimise download time and reduce the likelihood of file corruption during transfer?
    Also, is Oracle for Linux available on CD? Is there a fee for the CD and delivery?
    Any advice concerning download of this file would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Ralph.

    http://otn.oracle.com/software/htdocs/downloadFAQ.html has the answer for it.
    If you are downloading to windows use www.getright.com's share ware to download 500MB in less time.
    If using linux, then http://devel-home.kde.org/%7Ecaitoo/index.html will help you to down load it.
