CS3 Photoshop Tutorial video

Hi all,
In one of the Photoshop CS3 tutorial videos they are explaining about 3D and there is a can which has been imported into photoshop (from one of the 3D packages) which has a glossy (reflective) finish. Does anyone know how I can achieve this? I have only really been able to figure out Google SketchUp as far a 3D packages go.

Curt:
I built an I7 overclocked to 3.8Ghz with 12gig ram.
On the hardware forum this is seems to be what folks are using to edit HD.
CS3 can import *.m2t but not *.mts whats the difference?

I just bought photoshop elements 13 last night. Today I am watching tutorial videos to show me how to use it, but the videos are showing me things I don't have. Asking me to click on tabs i don't have. Why is this? Is there another way I can learn? Or is my download messed up and not giving me everything I need?

Got a link showing us which video tutorials you're watching and examples of what's missing in your software?

Great tutorial. When I build a timelapse I start by importing the image sequence and then make the proper frame size on export. Is there a benefit to creating a project at the proper frame size and rate first?

  • Twainbridge error when trying to install trial CS3 Photoshop

    Hi,
I downloaded the CS3 Photoshop from Adobe and I try to install it and I get this error message that installation can't continue because the Twainbridge must be closed. How do I fix this? Also where it the Twainbridge?
    Thanks,
    S.

    Niel,
Thanks, it worked great. The thing is what is the TwainBridge and why was it running? Is it alright I don't have it running? I looked on Yahoo and it says it has something to do with video (the Twainbridge).

  • Can i download tutorial videos

i want to download all tutorial videos of photoshop cc and lightroom but how i can download all tutorial files

I'm not sure which images your referring to, unless you mean the ones referenced in the pse 2 help under Photoshop Elements 2.0 Tutorials
(or some that may have been available thru the pse 2 updater)
In the folder that photoshop elements 2 installs into, there are some Samples and Tutorial folders with some of those files.
On a windows machine look in either
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2
    or
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2
Also, on the pse 2 install cd, there are some images in the Goodies>Stock Art folder

  • Photoshop CC Video VS Premire Elments?

How does the Photoshop CC Video compare to Premire Elments? Which program does more? Is there any limit to the video length in Photoshop CC?
I want to do Photographs and Videos. Should I stay with Elements Photoshop & Premier or move to Photoshop CC for both Photos and Videos?
    Thanks for any input.

At this time, I am not going to make a case for either Photoshop CC or Premiere Elements for your video editing.
Please take a look at video editing workflow with Photoshop CC detailed by Terry White.
How To Edit Video In Photoshop CC | Adobe Creative Cloud TV: Photographers | Adobe TV
Does that sound like that will work for you?
Your choice is going to depend on your computer environment and video editing goals and budget. When you want to get into Premiere Elements in depth, we can do that next. But, consider if you really want to make the comparison between Photoshop CC (video) and Premiere Pro CC (if so, listen to the comments of Terry White on that subject in the video tutorial above).

  • I am new to macbook pro, what is the best tutorial video to watch

I am new to Macbook Pro, what is the best tutorial video to watch?

There are a lot of videos to watch if you are new to Mac. Apple has got a lot of tutorials and videos in their website > http://www.apple.com/support/macbasics They will help you use OS X.
Also, you can ask here. We will be glad to answer all your doubts about OS X and your MacBook Pro. Finally, welcome to the Mac

  • Can anyone point me toward a tutorial/video/anything that will show me how to use iMovie '11?

The Apple video tutorial was just a commercial. Other info I found on Apple site was for the iPad. I have a MacBook Pro. I need to learn how to use iMovie '11 from the start. Very start. To borrow a line from a movie 'Talk to me like I'm a 5-year-old.' For example, what is the difference between a 'project' and an 'event'? Which one do I create first?  How do I adjust the exposure and color on my movies? Once I am done with my movie how do I tell computer/software to 'save' it because I am done. Then where is it? These are just examples.
I'd love to find any basic tutorial/video/help.
I got a book but it's way too advanced.
    Thank you.

There is also a good web page if you are interested in transfering iOS Projects from iPad/iPhone/iPod to iMovie '11 for the desktop:

  • When I open iWeb it does not "Highlight" the New site or new page options. It ahs had this issue for over a year! I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it. What do I do? It opens the tutorial video, then when you close it, nothing else is clickable.

Open iPhoto, select a couple of photos and use the Share ➙ iWeb ➙ Photo page menu option.  That has jump started iWeb for others.  I could take a couple of tries.
If that doesn't work try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iiWeb.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
         User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder.
3 - launch iWeb and try again.

  • Any good Dreamweaver tutorial videos (not free online ones)?

I'm tired of trying to find decent online tutorial videos of Dreamweaver. I'd be willing to pay for something that really covered DW in-depth, and not like a weekend crash-learning course. Thanks.

Why does it have to be video???

There are some excellent, free written tutorials right here that get into DW depth. But I caution you, to be successful with DW you'll need to learn basic HTML and CSS code first.  Once you've got that under your belt, DW is a piece of cake to work with.

  • Tutorial videos do not load correctly. tried every possible setting in flash player. nothing helps.

I'm really getting insane. I got the Creative Cloud from my boss and the permission to use it at home - great! So I try to work myself into all the new stuff since I've used CS4 prviously. But all the tutorial videos load extremly slow and most of them stop loading at all randomly. I troed different settings (though there aren't may) for the flas player - nothing seems to work. I need those tutorials because I don't have the time to find out everything myself. Is there any advice to get the damn flash player to work? I'm using a Win7 PC.

  • Do you recommend me "Learning Oracle 11g Training DVD - Tutorial Video"?

    Hi
I found on Amazon "Learning Oracle 11g Training DVD - Tutorial Video by InfiniteSkills". Is it worth it? There are no Amazon reviews :-(
Do you use other video training? What do you recommend me?

I don't know if the video is any good, but Lewis Cunningham is a reasonably well-known authority on Oracle. He talks about the release of the video in his blog, gives a table of contents and a link to some samples:
