CSS message missing values

Hello,
I'm using CSS to export trade spec data to a web service. I noticed that the Volume is missing in the Packaging Attributes section, even though it is on the Standard.xsl file within the Dimensions template. The length, width and height are being exported correctly.
Also, I want to export the Net Weight for Pallet type units. I tried adding it but I get an empty tag.
Does anyone know how to export these values?

I looked at the schema and I think that the Net Weight is there. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

I am facing the same problem. After selecting an export option (PDF/RTF), the same error message is coming up.
          Also, what needs to be done for displaying export option of EXCEL?

Group Tree: Error in Ajax response - message: missing } in XML expression

Hi,
We were using a previous version of Crystal libs and viewer. I wanted to get up to date with the latest jars and viewer so I downloaded and installed the version with Eclipse 3.4.1 and crystal development bundled together.
I've copied the new jars from there into my existing project. I've also copied the folder cyrstalreportviewers into the project. We're using Tomcat 6.
I've now got a problem with the Group Tree at the moment since I started using the latest libraries and crystal report viewers.
My web.xml looks like this.

The servlet doesn't do anything that seems to be uncommon. I can post more precisely what it does if needed.
The report will load correctly, I don't get an error page asking if my crystalreportviewers/ path is accessable to the server.
I get a parameter page asking for a value. I enter that and click OK.
The viewer sends a POST request to my Servlet and is handled correctly.
The report is then loaded.
On the click of an item in the Group Tree it sends an Ajax POST request and I then get the following error:

Clicking on the Groups headers on the right hand pane work as expected. Although I notice they are not Ajax requests.
I've spent a few days at this now and I feel like I'm running out of options but to revert back to the previous version we were using. I presume this works elsewhere so I've got to be doing something incorrectly with my setup.

That's our own Servlet. It extends javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet
doGet does the following stuff:
Creates a ReportClientDocument.
Sets the ReportAppServer to "inproc:jrc".
Opens the report as read only.
Gets the DBController and calls logon on it.
Then calls replaceConnection.
Adds some discrete param values.
Creates a CrystalReportViewer.
gets the report source from the report client document.
sets the report source on the crystal report viewer.
set own page to true.
sets the report source in the session.
The crystal Report Viewer then processes the Http Request.
doPost:
gets the report source from the session.
creates a CrystalReportViewer.
sets the report source on the crystal report viewer.
set own page to true.
The crystal Report Viewer then processes the Http Request.
One thing I changed in there was the way the data source was changed. It used to loop through tables.
Tables tables = clientDoc.getDatabaseController().getDatabase().getTables();
newTable.setQualifiedName(qualifiedName);
clientDoc.getDatabaseController().setTableLocation(origTable, newTable);
Now it does this:
DatabaseController dbController = clientDoc.getDatabaseController();
dbController.logon(username, password);
dbController.replaceConnection(new ConnectionInfo(), connectionInfo, null, DBOptions._useDefault);

Crystal Report "some parameters are missing values" while exporting/printin

I am able to pass parameters from a JSP to a crystal report through CrystalReportViewer and view the report. (I tried doing it using the code provided on this help forum. I was getting a message: "Some Parameters are missing values". I had to add 1 line: pfield1.setReportName(""); for every parameter field. And It worked..)
Now I can see the "Print" and "Export" buttons. But when I try to print or export the report, I get the same message "Some Parameters are missing values".

Iam developing using jdeveloper 10g and a jndi connection

the report filelds are set correctly and they HAVE values

i get the following message

also I install both commonwinXI_chf and cXIwin_chf fixes from crystal and still nothing .Any solutions to this problem because Iam freaking out

In order to connect crystal with JNDI you have to set the correct parameters
into CRConfig.xml
for example

I put both files into WEB-INF classes directory
and finaly in both cases you have to include in your project the driver libs

I am trying to invoke a crystal report using JRC API. I am using Business Objects XI.
When I try to invoke the report after setting all parameters I am getting an error message "Some parameters are missing values ". Here is how my JSP code looks like

The problem may be that you are setting your report date parameters as a string when you pass the value to the report.   If the JRC does not recognize the parameter value as the correct type, it will throw the error you see when trying to pass them to the report.
If they are a date type or a date time type in the report, they must be set as such using the Java Calendar object.
Below is an example of how one would pass a date parameter to a report:

CL20N Status changed: missing values for required chars for ROH & FERT

Dear Expert,
I am getting this message no. CL500 (Status changed: missing values for required chars) when I try to save variant class (Class type 300) assignment to material master (Raw Material) with Released 1 status in CL20N; but I do not get this message during assignment for FERT. I can save a FERT with Released1 status to a variant class without any system message. I am using configurable material in purchasing and this message is not valid in this case. Is there anywhere I can turn off this message for raw material just like FERT?

when i try to start an insert statement at a remote database I m getting the following error message:
ORA-00926: missing VALUES keyword
the statement is INSERT INTO <TABLE> VALUES(100,12,01-Dec-10,'ENTRY')
the table has the following form: COL1 (NUMC), COL2(NUMC, COL3(DATE) COl4 (VARCHAR255)
i tried to use several formats but i m not getting any solution for inserting. The user i m using has the privileges for inserting.

I am looking for a possibility to indicate a missing value in a numeric indicator.
There are situations where a data value could not have been measured/read from file/calculated and this should be communicated to the user in a most obvious way.
Personally, I would prefer to have the possibility to display some hyphens "----" to indicate a missing value. I found no way to do so, however, as it would require a string control. (Interestingly, numeric controls can display text, Inf or Nan)
Right now I set the text color to white / black if a value does (not) exist.
I was considering an overlay of numeric and string control but this makes life complicated if the numeric indicator is changed to a normal control with increment/decrement buttons because then one has to also take care of the z-plane position.
Displaying -1 or some other numeric value is not always useful because sometimes all numeric values are allowed/possible.
Are you aware of any other suitable approach?

Another idea I had is you can set the font in the control to strikethrough. Maybe not as good as using -----, but 0.0000 may still get the message across.
You could also try to set your font to Webdings, which I think is standard on all versions of Windows nowadays. The '0' (zero) character kind of looks like a hyphen, so you could set the font to Webdings and the control value to 0 and it could look kind of like what you want. Problem is that you have to get rid of any non-zero character (no +/-, E, or . allowed) and possibly turn on padding to get more than one dash. Here's what one looks like displaying '00000':

Error message: Missing PDF maker files in Word 2007

OK, I am beyond frustrated. I have had nothing but trouble with Windows Vista and Adobe Acrobat. Please help!!!
What happens: first, the pdf addin for Word 2007 suddenly becomes disabled, for no apparent reason. Forget about trying to re-enable it through the Add-Ins menu, because Word tells me that the "connected state of Office Add-Ins registered in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE cannot be changed". This is a problem for me, because I use a special font (Vietnamese) that sometimes gets corrupted when running pdf maker. The only consistent way I have found to avoid this problem is to run the pdf maker as "Quick PDF" and as far as I can see that option is only available through the pdf addin in Word, I have never been able to find it when I open the Acrobat program and create a pdf from there.
Second problem: shortly after the pdf addin becomes disabled, my Acrobat program loses the ability to create pdfs altogether. I get the error message "Missing PDF maker files". Yes, I have tried repairing the installation and re-starting my computer per the instructions given. It doesn't fix the problem. I also tried looking in the Knowledge Database on this website, but it appears that the instructions they have to fix the problem there are for earlier versions of Word, not 2007, because my version of word does not look like the version of Word in their little videos.
This is the second time this has happened. The first time I resolved the problem by a) re-installing Acrobat, which is a pain because it involves calling Adobe and wading through their customer service to get a new installation number, and b) paying a computer repair service to dig deep into the guts of my computer and convince it to change the Office Add-ins to allow the pdf addin again. It worked for about 6 months, and now I have the same problem again. For some reason Vista is spontaneously disabling Acrobat.
I simply cannot deal with this every few months. We all know that Vista is a crappy program, but I run a business and I need a program that works with whatever crappy program Microsoft puts out. Please, can anyone give me suggestions about how to re-enable these functions when Vista disables them?

The FULL load is running for long time and after some time it fails with processing Overdue. ( It is loading directly into datatargets no PSA as this is Daily FULL load to cube, deleting the previous request) The job overview is successfully finished in source system.

From the source system, there are several types of messages that can be differentiated by the so-called Info-IDoc-Status. The IDoc with status 2 plays a particular role here; it describes the number of records that have been extracted in a source system and sent to BI. The number of the records received in BI is checked against this information.

Migration Key - How to Open a CSS Message

Hi Team,
We got the discovery system and asked SAP to get us a separate licence for mySAP ERP 2005. We got the CD-DVD's and SAP says that we can generate the licence key from the service marketplace. Now in the installation guide, it is mentioned that we should get the migration key by using CSS and opening a message in CSS Component: CA-SOA-DS. When I go the tab "Report Product Error" in CSS, the table control which displays the systems is still blank. I cannot go to the next step and open a message to request migration key. We really don't want to install the CD-DVD's on a separate server. We just want to get the discovery system up and running and it looks like without the migration key we can't proceed further.
Questions:
1) How do I start a CSS message without the system number getting displayed in the service marketplace. I have the installation number etc with me.
2) Do we have to install and run something else prior to asking for migration key?
Please respond as this is causing problems. Your help will be much appreciated.

I'll try to shine some light on the topic you brought up.
The Discovery System is shipped already pre-installed on the hardware. Thus there are no CD-DVD's that would allow installation on a seperate system. It follows the concept of an appliance.
To license it you need to have a valid license for SAP ERP on MS SQL. This is the installation number you will need to request the license key from Service Marketplace. If you don't have that in place (no license or on different DB) please contact your SAP counterpart.
Following the steps in the Quick Guide (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b22d4e44-0e01-0010-ffa4-fe9c59939e5e) in sequence should guide you through all the necessary activities.

Display of missing values in a table view.

Hi everyone,
I have a table view with 7 columns and 10 rows which displays only those values which are missing in the DataBase Table.
Is it possible to show only the missing values as '-' in a table view, the table view is having 7 different fields.
Also when the value is inserted at run time the corresponding field should be updated accordingly and the value will no longer be displayed in the table view as '-'
please advice.

do you mean to say that in some rows some column values will be blank and you want to replace the blanks with '-'.
loop thru the itab which you are passing to tableview and for the blank cells pass '-'.

so you are having editable tableview. to update the value back to the dbtable, you have to read it in oninputprocessing and update it to dbtable .
search the forum on how to read the user entered value from the table view so that you can update the dbtable.
