CSS styles deleted from entire site's pages

Out of nowhere today my styles are not showing up in my
DESIGN VIEW in DW. When i look in the FILES>CSS STYLES window
the CSS files are nowhere to be found. But, when i look in the code
view of the html file i see this:
@import url("../images/HC_Banner/HC_Banner.css");
@import url("../DeptLayout.css");
So they are in the code. And when i preview the page it
previews with the styles in tact. So, i guess i am just dealing
with the design view not showing the styles? When i import the CSS
styles the view corrects itself and the layout is fine, with all
styles applied appropriately. So do i have to go through every page
in teh site and re-import the CSS styles to correct teh DESIGN
VIEW? Is tehre a setting i accidentally de-activated? What's up?

The code listed first is before in did the CSS STYLE import, the code after is after i imported the CSS STYLE files. The page displays the proper styles when uploaded and viewed in a browser, it's just that the DW design view doesn't display it in DW until i re-attach teh CSS files.

Is there a way to save a web page I want to delete from my site?

I have been updating my iWeb site, and want to remove a few of the older pages of photos. In most cases, I still have the album or slideshow from which I made the pages. However, in one instance, I no longer have either an album or a slideshow of that page, and the relevant pictures are scattered through my photo library (in two libraries). Is there any way I can save a copy of one photo page before deleting it from my site? I'd be happy to have either a pdf or a slide show of it.
Alternatively, if I can't do that, is there an easy way to make a copy of the site as it is before I delete any pages?
In future, I'll plan ahead better. Thanks for any help. I'm not an expert at this, so would appreciate suggestions for "dummies". Thanks

Hi Barbara, I just updated the little journal post of how I swapped out an old site, here:

I also wanted to save the old site without deleting it, but did not want it to show up. I created a sub-folder named "zold(domainname)" so it would sit on the bottom.
It's just as Roddy said, and the files will always be there if you need to retrieve them.

SharePoint 2013 RTE Custom Styles lost on Team Site Wiki Page after you select a control in the editor

I have a weird issue in that I have custom RTE styles working fine in publishing pages, but in the team site wiki page, when you first go into edit mode you see your styles, but if you highlight some text, select say the font drop down to expand it and then
select it again to contract it (i.e. without selecting a font), all of a sudden all of the custom styles are lost and everything reverts back to the default RTE styles.
In my master page I am running the following script to force my styles to be loaded.

See below screenshots (note Heading 2 is orange).
After you collapse the font menu, you see that the orange H2 has disappeared, and selecting the font drop down again now shows all of the default SharePoint RTE styles.
I haven't been able to capture the Event that is being called using the debugger. Any ideas how to fix this?

Attach existing CSS style sheet to existing site

Hello all,
I have an external CSS style sheet called default.css. I have an existing site of 61 pages that I want to apply default.css. Is there a way to apply a CSS file to multiple pages? Or am I doomed to going through the process 61 times?

I 'forced' it to work. Fortunately, the pages were all linked to the same style sheet, so I just did a 'Find and Replace All'.

CSS styles disappear in new template-based pages

hello: having some trouble. i've created a template for a new website and everything looks ok, but when i attempt to create a new page based on the template, all the css styles i've created disappear. i have a hunch it has something to do with the "body" stlye overriding everything else.
any suggestions are much appreciated.

The first suggestion I would have is to make sure the css that is being linked is not in an editable region on the template. Next, make sure the paths are correct. If both are in order you may need to post the template code.

New rows become deleted from snapshot sites after refresh

Hi buddy
I am facing problem in snapshot at snapshot sites.
I have oracle 8.0.5 4 database server machines.
all servers machines have O.S windows 2000 advance server
all servers machine have same oracle version ( 8.0.5 ).
there is Site A ( Master site ) site B ( snapshot site ) Site C ( snapshot site).
snapshot has been created at all snapshots sites ( B,C and at D)
snapshot log against each table are also present at master site ( Site A )
refresh group is present at snapshot site.
these are working since feb-2002 successfully. now problem occur in these sites if some miner issues comes then it has been resolved successfully.
Replication parameter in init.ora all all sites are as follows

job_queue_interval = 60
job_queue_keep_connections = false
distributed_lock_timeout = 60
distributed_transactions = 16
open_links = 4
snapshot_refresh_interval = 60
snapshot_refresh_keep_connections=false

few days ago one problem occurs in master site A. it become crashed. we did its recovery from previous night backup ( cold backup).
Now all branches are working. but my current problem is that we have 20 tables in replication.It is a snapshot replication old version of materialized view.
when site B start refresh procedure then it show message procedure successfully completed.
it show no error message.
but when we check no of rows at snapshot site ( site b )
all new rows which were inserted at snapshot ( site b ) after previous refresh has been deleted.
mean all data which is inserted after previous refresh command has been finished. but data which is inserted at master site is present at snapshot site after refresh.
this problem is present at all the snapshot sites ( site B, Site C and site D).
database link is also present from master to snapshot site anf from snapshot to master. but problem is still suspended.
i have checked at all snapshot site and master site there is no invalid procedure or package.
there is no error message in alert file at all site.
if any body has its solution kindly told me.

This is still going on when the page fails the call to getCurrentRow().refresh(Row.REFRESH_REMOVE_NEW_ROWS) goes out to lunch and stops processing for the rest of the function. I tried adding a try catch around it but nothing is caught and the function still fails.

Why is my CSS style not applied to my HTMLB page ?

I'm using a css file to define the layout of my htmlb page... but the layout is not applied.
When I specify the layout CSS in a common html page the layout is applied but not for an htmlb page.
Could someone let me know where I'm wrong ?

As a result, I have a blank page (and not red) with the text "text1" and "text2" written.

This code you have is unfortunately completely bogus. It is just not going to work. Writing HTMLB tags are easy. It takes but minutes to make the magic appear in the browser. But, you have also have to understand a little about what is happening.
At a very first, I would like to recommend this link: <a href="/people/brian.mckellar/blog/2004/06/11/bsp-trouble-shooting-getting-help">Getting Help</a>. You are specifically interested in the section that shows you how to get help about specific tags.
As a next step, look at the help for the <htmlb:page> tag. It is the first important one. See how it is a collection of other <htmlb:document*> tags.
Thereafter, look at SBSPEXT_HTMLB/document.BSP for an example on how to replace the <htmlb:page> sequence in your application.
Once this is done, place you "<link ...>" sequence directly after the <htmlb:headInclude> tag that you have now on your page.
Compile, test, assign 10 points.

Uploading CSS Style Sheet From Remote

Morning all,
Rather new to dreamweaver but I have setup up a remote host on my home pc and when I upload my site to my cpanel I use save to remote server to upload the file when I am happy with the page.
I always get one error that says the css didn't upload this might be to with permissions, on the cpanel the code is 644. But when I click on the css sheet in the files tab it states that permission is 755.
Any help would be appreciated.

You are hosting the site yourself on your home PC? If so, that's a huge mistake.

This usually means that you don't have permissions to save the file in the location where you are trying to save it. It's a server permission thing, not a file permission thing.

The firefox button somehow got deleted from top of my page

the firefox button has somehow been deleted and the search box at the top of the page is not working right. if i move my arrow just a half inch down from it the box it disappears and i have to scroll all the way back to the top to find it again

You get the orange Firefox menu button when the menu bar is hidden.

I assume you created a contact list in SharePoint 2013 and synchronized it to Outlook via Connect to Outlook per the link below:

If you would like to remove contacts from Outlook, you could right-click the folder in Outlook > Delete folder. This will remove it from Outlook and remain the contents in SharePoint.

Applescript to delete from selected layer and page

Hi,
This is part of a bigger script, but this is where I am having the problem. Hopefully very easy to solve, but driving me mad.
I want to delete a text box from the active page only, and only from one layer.
I can get it to work on one layer, but all pages. And on one page, but all layers.
Could someone please help me write the line to select both active page and layer "slug".

Template with CSS style sheet attached, not updating in pages

It shows when I look at it in a browser but its not updating in page view. Also not updating image links of style sheets.
I am a developer for a long time. I know dreamweaver and how to do this. Its a bug I think. But need need to know what I can do to get this fixed.

Do you mean it's not showing in Design View?
This could be caused by errors in your code. DW's Design View is very unforgiving of even small errors that the browsers handle with ease.
Check your template page against these validators and clean out any errors...

When I compress my folder I lose my css styles
Let me give a little bit more information,when and upload from dreamweaver it uploads in the browser with the css styles, but once I compress my folder it loses its styles, any help anybody.

Where my folder sits in my document I need to put it in a zip folder. before I place it in a zip folder I can open the folder and and view my html pages in the browser with the css styles. Works fine, but I need to put it into a zip folder so I can submit it for school project. The problem occurs when I do put it in a zip folder and I lose my css styles.
Just keep a quick note I have two drives which is my E: drive and my C: drive (I set it up on my E: drive, in the documents.) So only when I make the folder go into a zip folder where is directed to the C: drive in the temp folder and this is where I lose my css styles.
So when I initially set it up in dream weaver I set up my main root folder so it is on my E; drive which is in the library of the documents. In this folder are two other folders which is my images and css style sheets. In this main root folder I have my html pages. So I do have the css styles linked to all my html pages, they open fine in the browser from dream weaver.
Hope this is clear thanks for any help you can give.

Custom tab missing from Create Site template selection section in SharePoint 2010

Background:I migrated from SP 2007 to SP 2010.
ISSUE: my custom templates are visible in the Gallery list but when i try to create a new site the Custom tab selection is missing.
What am i doing wrong?

By Custom Templates, I mean remove old Master Pages : Go To Site Settings --> Look And Feel --> Master Pages (click on Master Pages to open window with Master Pages and CSS Style). From this page select V4Maste.master and default CSS. Refer here for

You can very well get back all your custom settings, but first lets try to resolve your first issue.
