  • Standard Query (Sq01) for Leave Details

    Hi Experts,
I have created a query using SQ01 for Leave Details which includes all infotypes required viz. 2001, 2002 etc.
When i use this query for any employee using any subtype/absence type, it works fine, but when i use it for a particular type i.e. On Duty, it do not brings any result although it has the data in the respected infotype. This absence type has been newly created by my functional consultant.
Kindly let me know if there are any possible solutions for this. If yes, plz let me know the steps how to correct it.

  • Query for vendor details in F-53

    Hi,
Need help on query development for vendor payment through F-53 with selection criteria Co. code, Fiscal Year, Fiscal Period, Transaction code and document type. Required output would be Co. code, Fiscal year, vendor number, document number and amount.
I tried to develope query using tables BKPF & BSEG but system did not allow BSEG as it's a structure. Then tried with BKPF & BSAK but it's not pulling any data for query.
Also, would like to know is there any standard report available for vendor payment through F-53?

    Hi Hein,
    Thanks for your reply.
The issue in FBL1N is I cannot enter the TCode F-53 and the document type used for F-53 , is used by other transactions also. Hence I am not getting the correct report.
Any help on developing a querry for this.
    Thanks

  • To Create an utility program for query.

    Hello all,
I have a requirement where I need to develop an utility program which should create a downloadable report with more or less the following content.
    System
    Client
    Query name
    Query description
    Creation timestamp
    Creator
    Infoset
    Tables involved
If possible, we would like to know how many times they were run and when was the last time it ran.
Can you please let me know where are the queries saved?  And from where can we get the details for these above mentioned fileds? ( Except system and Client).
Do feel free to add any other information you may consider relevant.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Rachana.

    Hi ,
You can use AQGQCAT table to retrieve query details.
Further tables on query are AQG*

  • SQL reporting - An internal error occurred on the report server. See the error log for more details. (rsInternalError)

I have created an RDL file programatically. When I execute the code I get the error as mentioned below:
Error: Sub report cannot be shown.
An internal error occurred on the report server. See the error log for more details. (rsInternalError)
When I copy and paste the code of RDL file into new RDL file and try to preview the output I get correct result.
Note: The new RDL file does not give any error if the output is seen using preview tab but it gives the error only when executed from report viewer or from internet explorer.
    Any Suggestion/feedback is highly appreciated.
    Thank You.

  • Nested SQL statements for complex, detailed queries.

Is it  possible to write nested SQL statements for complex, detailed queries. A nested query
has a WHERE clause that includes a SELECT statement ? Is it true or false ?

    Hi wahid,
    Here are pretty good examples:

Yep, the appserver got hold of a usable connection but the connection was closed before the appserver had finished/committed with it. It could be that the connection was closed by the database or some firewall timeout setting.
A good start is to investigate options of configuring your appserver's connection eviction policies including forcing a validation SQL to be executed when a connection is acquired. Make sure that such a query doesn't impact on performance and have some performance and integration testing before rolling out.i found that if i close the computer which causes this issue, hence other dev computers can deploy normally.
"deploy" here i mean deploy to a running instance on each dev's machine.
From this, i would guess the common database server itself rejects connection from clients.
I will try to investigate more if i am missing something.
And here i found a link that possibly a first good attempt:

EclipseLink automatically recovers from communication failures, but there is little we can do to diagnose the failure. We basically execute a query and have to wait for the JDBC driver, or DataSource's response, if it hangs for 10minutes, then we are waiting. You could set the JDBC timeout hint on your query, but whether the JDBC driver honors this is up to the driver. You should see the SQLException in your logs, provided your log level is warning or lower.
If you cannot fix your firewall, they you could change your connection pool settings to use a min number of connections of 0, so there will never be idle connections. But then you will be reconnecting a lot.
You could also use a third party connection pool or DataSource that supports a timeout setting on the pooled connections, or spawn a thread in your application the clears the connection pool every 30minutes.regards,

  • Passing values to subreport in SSRS throwing an error - Data Retrieval failed for the report, please check the log for more details.

    Hi,
I have the subreport calling from the main report. The subreport is based on MDX query agianst the SSAS cube. some dimensions in cube has values 0 and 1.
when I try to pass '0' to the sub report as the parameter value, it gives an error "Data Retrieval failed for the report, please check the log for more details".
Actually I am using table for storing these parameter values. In the main report I am calling this table (dataset) and passing these values to subreport.
so I have given like [0],[1] and this works fine. when I give only either [0] or [1] then it is throwing an error.
Could you please advise on this.
    Appreciate all and any help.
    Thanks,
    Divya

    Hi Divya,
Based on the current description, I understand that there is no issue if you pass two values from main report to subreport, while the issue occurs when passing one value to subreport.
To narrow down the issue, I want to confirm whether the subreport can run if there is only [0] or [1] in the subreport. If so, it indicates the query statements exist error in the subreport. If it’s not the case, this shows the issue occurs during passing
values from main report to subreport. To make further analysis, please post the details of query statements of the subreport to the forum.

    Hi Ajit,
Explore the possibility of achieving this with a new POWL query?
Use the existing POWL in the confirmation screen as a starting point to see what can be modified to suit your requirement.

  • Query should fetch all the query details in the system.

    Hi All
We  are looking for a query which will fetch all the query details in the system along with the user names either who has created the query or who has run it atleast once.
If any of the queries are not used for a long time then we  can delete it with the user's/owner's approval.
Is there anyway we can desing such query .
    Thanks
    Asim

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.
My requirement is that we want to create a new query which should fetch the details information of already existing queries.
Like who has created that query, how frequently the use it etc...
Whenever we run the new query it should give information of all other existing queries.
    Thanks and Regards

  • When error says "See the inner exception for more details."

Errors in Power Query say "See the inner exception for more details."  How does one do this? Thanks.

First, a disclaimer: this is behavior which exists in preview builds to help us with debugging. It is not a supported feature of the product and may change or disappear in future releases of Power Query.
That said, to enable tracing find this registry key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Power Query for Excel] and set TracingEnabled = 1 (REG_DWORD). You'll probably need to exit and restart Excel for the change to take effect. Log files will
be saved under the path %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Power Query\Traces, and separate log files are written for the code running in Excel itself and for the code running in a helper process. The trace files are quite verbose, so you'll want to turn them off as
soon as you have the information you need.
But I want to stress that any place where you have a bad experience is a place where another user might have a bad experience too. We'd rather fix any problems for all users than to enable individual users to troubleshoot things on their own.
