CUIC 9.1.1 Report scheduling issue - getting data only for current date

Hi,
CUIC : 9.1.1
ICM: 9.0.3
Description:We have CUIC publisher and Subscriber deployed in Cisco UCS C series server. When we schedule a report in Subscriber, we are getting data of current date even we schedule for old dates. Eg. If I schedule a report for yesterday, getting output as today's data. This is applicable for all the historical reports.
There is no such issue in Publisher.

Issue in BIP Report Generation - Issue gets fixed when the rtf is opened and re-saved

Hi,
We are facing a unique case in BIP reports generation at a Customer site. The BIP installed is a part of the OBIEE 11g installation. The customer report generates most of the times, however there are instances where we get a techinical details error ( custom error ) - The only way to 'fix' this issue currently is to open the rtf file, hit the spacebar and save this file ( ie re-save this file ) and the report starts to generate correctly again for
Has anyone else faced such a problem ?
Also, not sure if this helps - the corresponding xdo has nested tags

Your server file handling has nothing, and really nothing to do with Adobe software. If files don't get locked for (over-)writing and/or lose connection to the program opening them, then your server is misconfigured. It's as plain and simple and that. Anything from "known file types"/ file associations not being set correctly, MIME types being botched, crooked user privileges and file permissions, missing Mac server extensions, delayed file writing on the server, generic network timeout issues and what have you. Either way, you have written a longwinded post with no real value since you haven't bothered to provide any proper technical info, most notably about the alleged server. Either way, the only way you can "fix" it is by straightening out your server and network configuration, not some magic switch in Adobe's software.

Get all Groups for current user

Hi I try to get all groups for the current logged on user. This is what I do:
First I try to search with the IGruopSearchFilter to obtain all unique Group IDs. I always get an proxy error by doing this, maybe the query is to much.
Then I want to use the method group.isUserMember(user.getUniqueID() to check whether the user is a member of that group or not.
Is there a better way to obtain all groups for a user (without using a query IGroupSearchFilter)?

This should give you an iterator for all groups the given user is assigned to.

Webi Report scheduling issue

Dear Experts,
I have webi reports which are running fine when i refresh the query from query panel. When i am scheduling the report it is failing.
My webi reports are connected to the Bex Queries using OLAP Connections which is working fine for other reports.
I am getting the following error message
"Can not connect to the source olap com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (103) JCO_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Access key access is no longer possible"
Because of this BW Credentials are getting locked and user cannot able to access the BW System.
Kindly help us getting this issue solved.

Hi Archit,
Try this...
Logon to Central Management Console (CMC) with an Administrator user.
Click on OLAP Connections.
Right click on the connection and click User Security.
Assign Full Control to the User on the connection.

Report scheduling issues

while iam trying to schedule a report and by pressing the save symbol it is displaying the error as below

try this.
1- Login to EM and check scheduler service is up and running. if it is down then start..
2- use TNSPING to make sure DB listener is up and running (here Database means BI metadata has been saved)

Oracle reports scheduling issue

I am using oracle discoverer 4.1.8, I am scheduled a report with admin login. After scheduling i am able to see the scheduled report output from the admin(Submitted user login), where as when i try to see the scheduled output from my login (other users r unable to see the scheduled report output., I am unable to found the scheduled reports in the scheduled tab.

Your version of Discoverer does not have this feature. The ability to share the results of scheduled workbooks was introduced as part of the huge rework of Discoverer that Oracle did when they introduced Dicvoverer 10g (10.1.2 and up).
In your version you will need to schedule the workbook when logged in as the user who needs to see the results.

Report is not getting data from Remote cube thru Multi Provider

I ve strucked up with a Problem in The Reconciliation Report in BW3.5
The Report was built on a Multi Provider, which was created on Basic and Remote Cubes .
Both cubes have same Data Source and all the Objects were in Active version and found good.
When I m executing the Report ,I m only getting the data from the Basic cube and no data is coming from Remote Cube.
I ve checked the char " 0Infoprov " in Multi Provider and It was assigned with the both the cubes.
What might be the problem
Please help me in this regard

Hi
In the Reconciliation multiprovider, include 0INFOPROVIDER = Remote cube.
If data still not coming, you can be sure connectivity with Source system of the Remote cube is the issue
Check with basis to solve the connectivity issue.
Ensure Remote cube is consistent

JIT Schedule output getting determined even for FRC Release

Hi,
We are using LPA type scheduling agreement as we need generate releases for FRC Schedule and JIT schedule. We have copied the standard and created 2 output types: ZFRC for FCR Schedule and ZJIT for JIT Schedule.
When we run ME84 to generate the releases for both:
In case of JIT Release u2013 the correct output ZJIT is determined.

However, for FRC Release, there is a problem u2013 both JIT & FRC outputs u2013 ZJIT & ZFRC are getting determined even though only ZFRC is setup in config. The additional ZJIT output is ideally not to be determined.

Any pointers to resolve this issue of extra JIT schedule output being determined would be a great help.

Check following points -
1) Scheduling agreement is released.
2) In Source list of the material, the Scheduling Agreement & the relevant line item is mentioned. In the MRP area the option '2 - Scheduling Agreement delivery schedule generated automatically.
3) If required quota arrangement is also maintained.

Report Pdf output getting Junk characters for some boiler Plate fields

Hi All
For Dunning Letter Report registered in Oracle Applications,made changes in Column headings like added customer number as Kunde for German Letter
but in pdf output it's appearing as junk characters even date field is happening like that. It's happening for German, Spanish, Italy and French Letters. Working ok for Netherlands, English.
any input to fix this solution will be great

Maybe you check the NLS_LANGUAGE-settings on the client where you "edit" the reports-definition.

In an alv report how to get data in next and previous pages.

in my alv report i require the output such that
when i will press the next button in the application tool bar the alv report will be displayed for the next inventory document number in the next page. like wise previous

In your servlet you could set the arraylist into the HttpRequest object so that it is visible in the JSP you are forwarding to.

If you can't use struts tags or JSTL tags then you could write it with JSP scriptlets (highly discouraged option).

How to schedule a monthly load only for 7 days

Howdy Folks,
i have following issue, i have a daily load to a cube with selection to the actual month (e.g. July). but now i need to load beginning from the 1st of August up the 7st of August data from July, due to the monthly close.
in other words; a load, running monthly at the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 but not after the 8th of the month.
or a daily load, but not running, between the 8th and the 1st.

mothly..Schedule start - 1st and No start -->after
8th,.
If it is helpful,Don't forget to assign points..
okay .. in that way, the load start every month,on the 1st, but the period is monthly so the load will not run at 2nd and so on. i have create 7 packages . 1 for the 1st running monthly, 1 for the second of the month running monthly and so on. but that is no good solution ?

Getting undefined error for current document in script

I'm getting a "Error Number: 2" "Error String: myDoc is undefined" in my script.
I tweaked some scripts so they traverse my entire book, and open up every section (document) in my book and run the code for each section.ext
The code runs great and opens and closes sections where it doesn't find text to add links to, but once it opens a document and finds text that it CAN add links to, it throws that error. Below is my code:
