Currecny Translation - Has anyone come across a scenario like this?

Group Currency - USD
We translate each entities Income statement based on the following rates:
Weighted average rate for Revenues
Weighted average rate for Costs
Weighted average rate for Administrative Expenses.
These weighted average rates are calculated as follows:
Revenue:
u2211 (Mid month exchange Rate)*(Monthly Revenue / Year to date Revenue)
Cost:
u2211 (Mid month exchange Rate)*(Monthly Cost / Year to date Cost)
Administrative expense:
u2211 (Mid month exchange Rate)*(Monthly expense / Year to date expense)
Complexity of the current practice:
We have 3 legal entities in Spain and their functional currency is EUR.
Similarly, we have 3 legal entities in Germany having EUR as their functional currency.
In order to perform a currency translation from EUR to USD - in a case like this,
We need to maintain
for each entity
One weighted average rate for u2013 Revenues/ Costs/ Expenses
In total there will be 6 weighted average rates for Revenues/ Costs/ Expenses.
(And this is only for two entities)
Has anyone come across a scenario like this??
Can we achieve the weighted average rate calculations in SAP??

Did anyone work on a BCS system that is
- productive - completed one year end close - was successfully audited
and
had met the following conditions for currency translation:
Group currency - USD (Corporate office located in USA)
More than one international subsidiary of which at least two had the same local currency
If yes, how did you translate your P & L items??
