Cursor changes to "Busy" when timers expires in Form

Forms 10.1.2.0.2
I created a Form with a multinline block to implement a blinking effect on certain rows depending on certain conditions
whilst using a repeating timer.
The screen is working fine so far but I am facing the problem that the cursor automatically changes its status from
normal to busy for a moment and then back from busy to normal when the timers expires.
In addition, the status bar on the console (which is the lower right working status bar) displays a "working"
condiition when the timers expires (scrolling from left to right each time the timer expires).
This leads to annoying visible effects as not only my rows are blinking fine but also the cursor does -.-
I removed the Synchronze; Built-In from the WHEN-TIMER-EXPIRED and also replaced any data processing within
the Trigger by a Null; Statement but the cursor keeps on changing its Form automatically.
I also tried to set the Cursor style to default within this Trigger but the cursor keeps on changing its Form.
Is there any way to suppress this behaviour ?

Do you have any security programs installed on your computer? If so, temperarily turn off them to check if this issue persists.
We can also try to run Word in safe mode to test if the issue is caused to a problematic add-in. To do this, press Windows key + R, type
Winword.exe /safe in the Run dialog and press Enter.
In addition, did you installed any printer drivers? If so, some bad printer drivers may cause such issue. Please make sure you have installed the latest printer driver form the official website. If possible, we can try to uninstall the printer drivers
to check if the issue persists.

My thought is after a while of time in order to do so u have to create a timer Form-Level Then use WHEN-TIMER-EXPIRE Trigger Form-Level and use the following Built-In...
EXIT_FORM;Then in Post-form Trigger call the log-in form with the procedure built in

Double value change event if cursor is set busy (LV2009)

Hello everybody,
I just migrated from LV 8.0 to LV 2009 (on linux) and now got problems with a value change event. I want to send a command if a button is pressed and send another one if the button is released. After sending the command I need to wait for an acknowledge from the receiver and to avoid user interaction in between I lock the cursor with "set busy" VI until the acknowledge is received. To see, when the button is pressed or released, I use a value change event. Inside the event structure the cursor is set busy.
This worked reliable in LV 8.0 but not any more in LV 2009. The button's mechanical action is set to "switch until released" and if I press the button and keep it pressed it is reset to false automatically. The value change event is fired twice instead of only once (see attached vi) and "new value" is one time true and one time false. This doesn't happen if the mechanical action is set to "switch when pressed".
Does anybody have an explanation or a workaround for this behaviour? Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in LV? For now I'll just keep the cursor unlocked.

How do I get my code changes to show when published in Business Catalyst?

I have created my website using !Adobe Muse and have used the Ecwid ecomm widget to integrate a shop. As I wasn't happy with the font, colour, etc, I changed the code using the edit 'html' function, accessing the code information from a design browser mode and then further on in the process, I published it to Business Catalyst. However, now the changes don't show. How do I get my code changes to show when published in Business Catalyst? Do I need to go through the same process using Business Catalyst?

[Gnome] Cursor changes when it overrides qt applications

I use gnome desktop on Archlinux x86_64.
I noticed that sometimes when I pass my mouse over qt applications (like skype, smplayer, qtiplot,...) the cursor changes and it becomes the gnome default cursor. When I move my cursor over the desktop it returns what I have chosen.
I tried changing to other cursors but the result doesn't change.

maybe edit:
/usr/share/icons/default/index.theme
have it read:
[Icon Theme]
Inherits=ATER-yellow
Same to local icons as well:
~/.icons/defaults/index.theme
I think what is happening is that the system reverts to default and doesn't know what the default is... if you specify maybe it will work.

Spry menu bar submenu disappears when cursor changes

Hello.
I've been working with a spry menu bar for some time, but when I expand the submenu and then move the cursor over some text on the page (where the sub-menu is on top of), the submenu disappears. In other words, it seems that when the cursor changes from a pointer to a text cursor, the submenu disappears.
Can anyone tell me how to prevent that from happening?

Sounds like your submenus may be positioned with a small gap from your top-level links

... please note that the Skype Number will not "ring busy" - if you are using Skype, incoming calls would be diverted according to your Tools -> Options settings. The Skype Number provides a phone number for people to reach you, but the number has nothing to do with outbound calls you place.

Whenever you have a problem, please post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) from all tables involved.
Also post the results you want from that data, and an explanation of how you get those results from that data, with specific examples.
If you're asking about a DML statement, such as INSERT, the CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements should re-create the tables as they are before the DML, and the results will be the contents of the changed table(s) when everything is finished.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using.

Skype number is busy when people try to call me ?p...

When i got my skype number it was busy when someone tried to call me and my skype was online . I changed my skype to only friends on skype list logged out for 5 minutes then logged in and changed it back to everyone can contact me. Been 3 days now and still no joy on my chefdamo account

CS2 - why does my cursor change??

For some reason, sometimes when working in Photoshop CS2 (PC platform) my paintbrush cursor changes. I have it set in preferences to show the brush size and it usually stays that way, but occassionally, it reverts to precise mode so I cannot see the brush size on the screen. The only thing that seems to work is closing PS and restarting it. What a pain.
Has anybody had this problem, and if so, do you have an easy solution?

Change user password , when DB is in mount state

1. How to check user status , when database is in MOUNT stage. ? (Locked/Expired)
2. Is it possible to change the password of the user SYSTEM , while database is in mount state.?
If DB is open , we can query DBA_USERS table and can get the details of users (username, account_status,lock_date,expiry_date, etc...)
But , is it possible to query these data, when the DB is in MOUNT state.
3. Im having SYS authority. I want to change the password of SYSTEM user, and make SYSTEM unlock in the Standby Database. (Which is in mount state).
How can i do this?

Change the password of the user in primary database and perform a log switch. The password would be changed on the standby as soon as the log is applied on the standby database.
Whenever you try to change the password of a user in mount stage,you get an error message saying "shutdown is in progress". So change it only when the database is open

Problem in changing the Business Area?

I have a discoverer report where the eul folders are in one business are. Now I need to change the business area. By manage folder option I can do that.
Now my query is as the business are is changed for the folder what should I do for the workbook. Do I need to recreate it because the business area definitions are changed.

You don't need to change the workbook at all. However, make sure the business area security is correct so that the workbook owner can still access the folder. The workbook references the folder and so the folder will be shown in the new business area when you inspect the workbook items.

Interface getting failed after changing the Business system to that service

Hello All,
Our Env... is XI 3.0 and this is related to produciton env.
Based on our client requirment to change the business system from client 871 to 100 for one of the R3 system which is reciever type(rfc).
After doing all the necessary changes , that particular service is getting failed and in the CC monitoring for that service I can see the log as "RFC_ERROR_LOGIN_FAILURE" mandate 871 (earlier client) does not exist in the system.
The steps which I have followed to change the Business system.
1>I loged into the SLD of PRD system and clicked on businsess landscape .then i have clicked on the specified system to be changed (RY1 ) and then clicked on change mode and selected the required client (100) and saved the settings.
2>I have logged into ID(Integration Directory) and selected the service (RY1) which need to be changed .Under service -->Adaper specific -->compare sld configurations and then clicked on apply changes.
3>Now selected that communication channel of service (RY1) RFCRecieverR3 and changed the client 871 to 100 and the password of user XIRFCUSER ...
Then i saved the changes and after that i have activated that interface.
After that when i logged into CC monitoring and viewed that service channels and see the following errors:
Receiver channel 'RFCReceiverR3' for party '', service 'RY1'
Error can not instantiate RfcPool caused by:
com.sap.aii.af.rfc.RfcAdapterException: error initializing RfcClientPool:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.repository.RfcRepositoryException: can not connect to destination system due to: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Mandante 871 não existente no sistema (selecionar mandante existente)
Can any one help me out of this situation , and i need to fix this ASAP as this is production system.

Let me say few points about this particular problem:
1>The interface "XX" from XI sends data to two systems( R3 -->RP1 & RY1), some thing like branched (same data is passed to both the reciever systems).
And the second RY1 is copy of First system RP1 (Production sys) which is used for data loading purpose and every week there will be a refresh from First sys (RP1) to Second(RY1).
2>Now the first sys(RP1) is recieving the data successfully from XI , and the second one (RY1) is getting failed .And this started after changing the Business system 871 to 100 .
3>As mentioned by you , I have checked all the points mentioned
    i)In SM59 for XI (ABAP part) two rfc's are maintained (LCRSAPRFC & SAPSLDAPI) and the test connection is also fine...But I did not find these two connections in reciever systems(RP1 & RY1 too).
   ii)In reciever system RY1 ,when i went to RZ70 , i did not noticed any special settings and SLD Bridge :Gateway Information is not maitained over there .and the same thing in other reciever system(RP1) , with this can we confirm that there is nothing wrong in RZ70 settings.
   iii)In SLDAPICUST at recievers end for both systems nothing is mantained , where as in XI system all the details are maintained(Host name,port, user & password).
I have translated the error log into english from the CC monitoring for this interface which is in portuguese language .
It says that:
RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: 871 Mandante not in the system (select principal existing)
Kindly advise me what to do ..for fixing this problem(this is pretty urgent and it is production env...)..
If any information required , I can provide that.
