Could you please let me know the major configrations in Recruitment by a Functional consultant.

Once you run PBA7, run report RPAPRT04. You can use this report to set applicant activities to completed, after you have transferred data for the applicants to Personnel Administration. The advantage of this report is that you receive a list of applicants for whom data has already been transferred to Personnel Administration, without having to enter selection criteria.
From now on, the applicants are handled as employees in Personnel Administration. The applicant data for these new employees does not require any further processing in the Recruitment component. You run this report to close the administration of the applicant data in Recruitment.
Apart from this i dont think there is any other major configurations..

When you specify the infotype number, please remember to enter any leading zeros.
    3. Choose IT characteristics.

    4. Choose Table view   Display   Change.
This accesses the Change View “Infotypes”: Overview screen.
    5. Create a new entry for your infotype.
You can create new entries by

  • Creation of Custom Infotype in Recruitment

    Hi Experts,
I have actually used PM01 to created Custom infotype. i have selected the applicant group while creating the infotype.. but in the infotype charectaristics the database table is still PA9006 this must be changed to PB.. how do i do this???? And my 9006 infotype in not reflecting in the applicant master data.. how to do this?????

    hi,
i think you select pa infotype while providing time constraint, insted of selecting pa infotype select RE infotype or
    follow this procedure......
1)in step one you create STRCTURE with required fields and make it activate
    2) in this step simply click on CREATEALL BUTTON for creating module pool program, database table and screens.
    3) in this step select NEW ENTRIES button and here provide information like ...
if you are not find new entries button click on EDIT button.
a)provide Infotype number ( which is created by you. 9006)
    b)provide description
    c) provide time constraint
    d)provide single screen(2000)  and list screen(3000)
now click on  SAVE button then system automatically assigns the application database table PB9006.

  • Structural Authorization in e-recruiting

    Hello all
We are implementing e-recruiting 603 ehp4 in standalone scenario. By customer requirements, the "recruiter" role was assigned to all manager therefore the standard service "Create requisition request" from MSS is not in use. So  structural authorization we need for the manager to create requisition for his position only.
So, someone know how to perform this or tell me how to complete the table T77PR -the function module, evaluation path, object  type and so on-
As always, thank you a lot
    Regards
    E. Ciotta

    Hello Emilio,
Structural authorization in e-recuitng are a mess (although I have not found any official documentation which states "It won't work" and solution management says that there is no restriction sap support answers on customer request for that topic that it is not supported).
Trouble with your requirement is when you restrict the structural authorizatuion on positions for the manager and anywhen run internal job market the manager could not access the position information on a publication if he wants to apply as internal candidate anywhere else in the company. Could get quite tricky to solve this (next to all other issues on this topic).
If it is just about restricting the search I would exactly do this. Either per modification or by a customer development I'd restrict the search result by the structural information without actually switching on structural authorizations.
For getting the positions you should be able by using an evaluation path for direct and indirect positions of a manager or if not available use employees under a manager. If it does not skip the positions they should be contained in the result. If not copy it and remove the skip flag (and S-P relation as it is not needed). Unfortunately I cannot say which evaluation paths are really standard as most systems I use are enhanced here.
    path should be like:
NR    Obj.    A/B    Rel.    P    Rel. Obj.    (Descr. Info)
    10    P       B      008     *    S            (get position for employee)
    20    S       A      012     *    O            (get org.units the position is leading position)
30    O       B      002     *    O            (get all other org.units under the org. unit assuming manager may see all levels)
    40    O       B      003     *    S            (get all "normal" related positions in org.units)
    50    O       B      012     *    S            (get all leading org.units - could be more than in 10 as we have several org.unit levels)

  • E-Recruiting 604 Doubt about the planning of the background job.

    Hi,
We are on E-Rec 604 with seperated standlone e-rec system.
I did the initial transfer of the Org Management data through PFAL from ECC to E-Recruit and all were ok.
Now I have to planed the job for the future changes.
This is my doubt, I just have to plan the program RBDMIDOC in the HR system, or should I add something more?.
    Please somebody could guide me?.
    Thanks a lot,
    Esther

    Hello Esther,
there are some more configuration steps for the regular update after the initial load.
Probably already done by you is the activation of the change pointers for the message type otherwise RBDMIDOC won't create any IDoc.
Additional settings to the ALE you should apply to the system:
    -  In the e-recruiting system, go to the partner profile settings for the ALE. Open the inbound parameters for the message type and switch radio button in the "process by function module" section from trigger immediatly to trigger by background program.
    - Create a variant for report RBDAPP01 on the e-rec system setting the package size to 1
    - Plan the report RBDAPP01 as job on the e-recruiting system to process the incomming IDocs
Ensure in the job scheduling of RBDMIDOC and RBDAPP01 that both are running before midnight and the RBDMIDOC is running before RBDAPP01 of course.
Additional E-Recruiting settings you have to do:
    - schedule HRALXSYNC on the e-rec system as daily job
    - Ensure that the e-rec periodical service PROCESS_CAND_STATUS_CHANGE (class CL_HRRCF_UPDATE_P_STAT) is activated in the e-rec customizing under E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> Periodical Services

  • HR abap smartform

    Hai all,
I am working in HR smartforms. I customized the below forms.Do we have any place in the config where u can tell the system to pick the z-form instead of std??
I know If it is not HR we can do it in NACE.But these are HR smartforms.
    HRRCF_CS_IT_APPLICANT
    HRRCF_CS_IT_APPL_INVITATION
    HRRCF_CS_IT_EXA_APPL_REQUEST
    HRRCF_CS_IT_EXA_CONF_REGISTER
    HRRCF_CS_IT_EXA_DEREGISTRATION

    Hello Chinna,
assigning the customer z-smartforms to the activities of sap e-recruiting is done in the e-recruiting customizing: SAP E-Recruiting -> Recruitment -> Applicant Tracking -> Activities -> Correspondence under this node there is anywhere a node called Assign Forms to Activity Types. The exact structure under the named path depends on the e-recruiting release you are using (IMG structure changed during the releases and EhPs).
If in spite of assigning the customer smarforms to the activities the standard template smartforms appear / are printed it indicates that you did not use the exact smartform interface required.
The interface used depends on the release and the technology set for correspondence change in the application. Details on this can be found in my post linked above.
    Kind Regards

  • Custom Application Configuration not pulling the data in E-Recruiting

    Hello,
My requirement is to make some fields 'required', hide some buttons, change button texts & hide some columns in standard wd component (ERC_A_REQ_MGMT) delivered by SAP. So I created an application configuration and component configuration and did the layout customization. Now in the application I am passing this new configuration name with the parameter (sap-wd-configId)(......sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/erc_a_req_mgmt?sap-wd-configId=ZZERC_A_REQ_MGMT)
As this is a portal environment, in LPD_CUST, In the application parameters, I've used this parameter (sap-wd-configId=ZZERC_A_REQ_MGMT). The custom application is displayed, however, the data is not being passed to this custom configuration, so when I open a exisiting requisition from dashboard, this is shown as empty screen (like a new requisition), but when I take off this parameter from the lpd_cust, the standard app is working fine. Can you please help me understand why the data is not being passed to the custom application configuration?
    Really appreciate your insights.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
We faced the same issue in SAP E-recruiting EHP4 solution. The reason is, the configuration which is assigned statically in FPM editor is loaded after the OVERRIDE_EVENT_OIF and thus discards all context nodes which have been already initialized. Afterwards, the context node of has no value anymore and the field on UI doesnu2019t display anything.
Remove the static component configuration in the FPM editor and use the following code in the wddoinit method of the view V_GEN_JOB_INFO. This assignment happens at the runtime.
data: lo_api_controller          type ref to if_wd_component,
            lo_pers_manager            type ref to if_wd_personalization,
            ls_configuration           type wdy_config_key,
            lt_config_table            type wdy_config_table,
            ls_config_header           type wdy_config_header,
            lo_fpm                     type fpm_s_runtime_info,
            ls_fpm                     type fpm_s_runtime_info.
          lo_api_controller = wd_comp_controller->wd_get_api( ).
         lo_pers_manager = lo_api_controller->get_personalization_manager( ).
         lo_fpm = wd_comp_controller->go_fpm->get_runtime_info( ).
        ls_configuration-config_id    = u2018ZERU_REG_REQ_MGMT_UIu2019 u201C Your Component configuration name
        lo_pers_manager->load_config_by_key( ls_configuration ).

  • Custom HRP Infotype for e-Recruiting

I am trying to create a custom HRP infotype to be used in our e-Recruiting system. I want to be able to update the infotype using the SAP standard RH_INSERT_INFTY and like function calls. However my entry in table t777d won't let me change the Update type to anything other than blank (No update via personnel planning update task). I also am having issues which I am not sure if this stems from that problem or not but when I try to use the RH_INSERT_INFTY I get a short dump when it tries to do an insert with a vtask of D because the data doesn't appear to be mapped to the correct fields. My input table type is of type p9xxx and it seems to be mapped correctly until the last stage when it actually tries to insert the line into the table. Any suggestions for what might be wrong? I have checked to make sure that the p9xxx and hrp9xxx have the same structure and they appear to match correctly

You could search/post this question in the HR forum...

  • Banner with customer logo in top of E-Recruiting

<b>I am trying to find out how to add a banner in the top of the E-Recruiting BSP applications containing a customer logo</b>
I have looked into various documentation, older topics and blogs on how to modify themese for BSP - but I have not been able to find anything specifically explaining how to add a banner containing a logo.
<i>Does anybody know of an easy procedure for solving my problem?</i>

    Christian,
Let me tell you something.Basically, all E-recruiting applications are developed using BSPs.So whatever customer modifications you do need to be done with BSP.
Secondly, themes are the only concept used out there.so ,if you are comfortable with creating themes using Eclipse editor and uploading them into BSP MIME repository it should solve the problem.
HINT: one good idea to solve this problem is just use the home page of your clients website, check for exact colors, etc. while preparing MIMEs.
Please go ahead with the discussion of the issue as it is important.

  • E-Recruiting - Synchronization object u2018BPu2019 does not exist in customizing

    e-Recruiting Question: Version 6 u2013 patch 10
The following error is presented when new eRec users are created or new external users are created.
Synchronization object u2018BPu2019 does not exist in customizing
I have concern that  customizing table CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU is not properly maintained as it initially dumped on creation, but after an update to the table the dump is resolved but I still receive the error.
Any hints or example of the configuration in this table for a working e-Recruiting system?

After a lot of digging, we discovered that the JDO mapping is creating a lower bound with a one that should be a zero on the relationship... A forum suggested that adding cascade-delete will force the zero with no foreign key constraints...

  • Custom E-Recruiting screen

We need to create a Custom E-recruiting screen.  The new BSP page will have drop-down; text-box; etc.
The box's need to be dynamic meaning than when the user input his information and clicks the save button - the information get saved in an already defined infotype.
Please give suggestion and code sample in how to connect box's to an infotype.

    HI  Divya Jain,
I am having same problem. I was looking your answer I think it may help. Just to confirm, in my case should I make it X too in the value?
    I have four TRSP:
    TRSP    ADMIN   X
    TRSP   CORR
    TRSP   STOBJ
    TRSP   WFOBJ
I Don't have X after CORR. it is going to fix the issue? did you follow any note?
    Here is my dump:

    What happened?
        Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLSPO4" had to be terminated because one of the
        statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
    What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
        error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
        date.
is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.

  • E-Recruiting Custom Data Fields & Flexibilization

    Hi,
Our development team has added custom data fields for work experience (IT5103) via include CI_P5103.  We are unable to adjust the appearance of the fields via Flexibilization.
    Steps we followed:
    1. Developers added fields (Z_FIELD1 & Z_FIELD2) to CI_P5103
    2. Created contexts EXTRNL & INTRNL
    3. Configured Flexibilization for Z_FIELD1 & Z_FIELD2 in EXTRNL for SAP/HRRCF_PROFILE/WORKEXPERIENCE_DETAIL.BSP to Hidden (Item Considered for Calculating Layout)
    4. Configured Flexibilization for Z_FIELD1 & Z_FIELD2 in INTRNL for SAP/HRRCF_PROFILE/WORKEXPERIENCE_DETAIL.BSP to Display Only
    5. Ran RCF_GENERATE_URLS for both EXTRNL & INTRNL
    6. Both fields show on External Candidate Start Page (EXTRNL) and Internal Candidate Start Page (INTRNL) and are not affected by the Flexibilization config
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Jason
    E-Recruiting 6.0 SP11
    BSPs

    Deepak, thanks for the input.
I understand your feedback, but I don't see anything in that documentation that excludes custom fields from the modification of display.
    Define Additional Fields says:
You can define additional fields for various infotypes in a Customer Include. The additional fields are displayed automatically on the relevant page.
    Modify Fields in Interfaces says:
In this IMG activity you can switch fields on and off on certain application user interfaces and flag fields as mandatory fields. You assign these field definitions to a context in which the changes to the user interfaces are visible.
Screen flexibilization is possible for the following pages:
    Candidate Profile
    Namespace/Application/Page Page Name...
    SAP/HRRCF_PROFILE/WORKEXPERIENCE_DETAIL.BSP Work Experience
It seems logical we should be able to alter the display for a custom field that if the field is defined in the approriate include.
I guess this could be another case of logic and SAP not following the same path.

  • E-Recruiting - How to replace a standard BSP app by a custom

    Hi sap gurus,
In the candidate' profile, we would like to exclude some qualification objects shown in the competencies tabs.
We have copied the bsp application HRRCF_PROFILE to zHRRCF_PROFILE, and made the changes there, but now I wonder how to replace the standard profile application by mine ? Is there any configuration, to change the candidate profile's link ? Or do I have to make a repair somewhere to change it ?
Thank you for all your help
    Regards
    Hadrien

    Hi,
if you really want to exclude certain qualifications of HR core so they are not available in e-recruiting profile maintanence (and requisition maintanence) there is a customizing in IMG to define a view on the qualification catalogue. There you can specify which QK and Q objects shall be available in e-recruiting. In this case no development would be necessary.
If you just want to hide some fields / attributes this should be able to do this by customizing the screens. Depending if you use WebDynpro or BSP this is done via WebDynpro configuration or via IMG for bsp. Again no development
If there is really a need for developing a new tab for the profile, copy the application, throw out everything except the minimum stuff for a qualification tab and build it the way you like. Define a new container sequence item, define a context and set up the container sequence for the profile using your customer container sequence item instead of the standard one.
You never change the SAP entries of T77RCF_LOG_APPL you would only add customer own applications if you add customer applications to startpages. Defining own screen modification posibilities is usually not necessary. If you do not need the field in your customer screen just delete it, why customize sth you develop anyway?

  • E-recruiting - Customizing external candidate start page with a new start p

    Hi ,
I require some inputs from you on creation of new start page for external candidate.
I have a requirement to hide Age / Gender fields in the Personal data tab of the external candidate application wizard in the external candidate start page.
    I Created a new start page with I.D "9001" and using customized context i was able to hide the Age and Gender fields. The URL using the customized context looked like below;
    http://XXXXXX.XX.XXXXXXXXX.XXX:8053/sap/bc/bsp/sap/hrrcf_start_ext?sap-client=300&sap-language=EN&rcfSpId=9000&rcfContext=NAEXT
    The external candidate start page requires the following services assignment to a service user;
hrrcf_apply_ext: Apply with Reference Code (Non Registered Candidate)
    hrrcf_cand_reg: External Candidate, Registration
hrrcf_unrg_srch: Non Registered Candidate, Job Search
The service user requires SAP standard role u201CRCF_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATEu201D to provide access to any external candidate to do a job search and register. This role in standard would have application object u201C0002u201D u2013 Standard external candidate start page I.D which would provide access to the start page.
We have cloned the role to include the customized application object u201C9001u201D and have assigned it to the service user.
But even after doing this i get an error message when trying to execute the URL in IE which reads "You do not have the required authorisation to use this start page"
Iam not sure if iam missing anything on the authorisation part. Please advise.
    Thanks
    G Raj

    Hello G Raj,
it seems you are mixing some things up. The service user is only for all parts of the e-recruiting which are accessable without logging in. This includes services linked to the unregistered search and the registration (where the applicant creates his candidate / his login). The service user is no candidate and has a special role (must not have a candidate object or the candidate authorization role).
As soon as someone logs into the system, e.g. to his start page, he acts as candidate. Depending on his relation to a P object he is either an external or an internal candidate.
In your example we are talking about external candidates. These candidates get a reference user assigned on candidate creation which is customized for the external candidate role (here the e-recruiting role) in IMG. Usually it is called RCF_CAND_EXT. The SAP delivery role (here the authorization role) this reference user gets is SAP_RCF_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATE (as long as you are using BSP). You have to copy this role to a customer one and replace the value 0002 of auth object P_RCF_APPL (Application in E-Recruiting) by your customer one 9000.
    Then everything should work fine.
    Best regards

  • E-Recruitment Customer Includes

Can somebody direct me on the process for activating Customer Includes for E-Recruitment?
I found the list of available CI's, but the HELP doesn't give the activities to follow.  I would like to also determine what additional fields are made available by activating these.
    Justin Folkers

    Hi Justin,
I can give you the first step..
In SE11, create a datatype (structure) called CI_Pnnnn.  Once it's activated the new field definitions will be visible in the associated table HRPnnnn.
The BSP page may also need to be changed and I sorry, but I can't help you with that part.  Depending on the fields you included, some methods used in the '.do' modules of the controller may need to be modified.
