  • Report for collect statistics of scenarios in PI

    Hi colleagues,
I would like to know if there is any specific report i can execute in my box (PI 7.1) in order to get statistics regarding:
    Number of messages per scenario
    Average message size per scenario
    Ellapsed time
    Etc
The aim is to prepare a document in which we can analyze how the system grows and which scenarios cause this growth, week after week.
I have gone over the processes EWA carries out and got nothing, couldnt execute the reports i found there.
I know I can get some of this info by means of Performance Monitoring, but i need to be able to collect all this data.
Is there a report i can use for this purpose?
Please, any help will be much appreciated.
    Best regards,
    David

Thanks all for your valuable input,
however that makes me realise there is no way to gather this info (scenario specific) without writing some code, am i correct?
Does anybody of you know how SAP manage the data they collect from PI through EWA tasks? Despite slight differences, this is what i want to get.
    Any clue?
Thanks a lot in advance and best regards!
    David

  • HT5029 Calendar -- I need to subscribe to a school district calendar which log-in requires ID and password

For supervision of academic performance of child, I need to subscribe to a school district calendar which has teacher-supplied info respecting the student. On the web with Safari, there is log-in ID and password required for access. When looking at the data page, it contemplates an iCal subscription as the means of seeing it. Calendar.app can't seem to get there, and I assume it has to do with the fact that ID and password are required. Calendar does not seem to offer me a way to subscribe to a calendar which subscription requires log-in ID and password.

  • BT Yahoo Calendar - Events logged on one calendar ...

I have three BT Yahoo Calendars configured on my profile one of which is shared.  When I add an event to any of the calendars the events only appear on one of the calendars, the same one each time.  I select the calendar I am adding the event to and deselect the others, I have also reset the 'iCalendar & Web Address' with no affect.  When i frist set it up it worked fine.
    Hope someone can help.

    Hi jiber808,
Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. Are the 3 calendars associated with the same email account? Are you getting any error messages? Give us as much detail as possible. I’m sure we can help with this.
    Cheers

  • Alternate Calendar for limited scenario

    Hello,
I have a user who does reporting using COPA data.  We have a 4-4-5 fiscal year variant, and Period 1 corresponds to January, Period 2 corresponds to February etc.
For this particular users purpose they need to analyze the data in a way that Period 1 corresponds to August, Period 2 corresponds to September.
How can this be done?  Ideally our existing variables would work as well.  Such as YTD, PTD, Prior year etc.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Nick

    Nick,
As you said, You can achive your requirement using Different Fiscal Year Variant.
August or Sept etc. all are Calender Months. We will calculate fiscal periods using Fiscal Variant and Calender Month. Check with SAP R/3 Controlling or Fi guy can help with required Fiscal Year Variant or they will create one in either in BI or SAP R/3.
Let me know wheather new Fiscal Year variant Helped you or not.
    All the best.
    Regards,
    Nagesh Ganisetti.

  • Scenario execution errors not logged

    Hi,
in production environment, we start our scenarios by means of startscen.bat.
Sometimes, when an error occurs, startscen.bat returns an error which does not appear in the operator log (scenario seems to be still running).
Has someone been faced to such a behaviour? What can the problem come from?
Thanks in advance for your tips.
    Fredd.

    Hi Bhabani,
    Thanks for the reply.
I am afraid that this is a major issue for me, I do not want to re-query the source table for each target table, but on the other hand I cannot fail the process for each invalid record and I need the logging.
Can you think of a workaround for my use case?
    Thank you!

  • Calendar Server user can not receive external invites

    Hi,
We have a MacPro running ML Server 10.8.5 with 10 user accounts using the calendar and file server services.
Calendar server is where the issue is. We have 10 + users that are set up to send and receive external invites in calendar server without a problem. Recently, one of the user accounts stopped receiving external invites. The problem began not long after I set up a second account for the same user for their shared calendars (they requested this so all shared cals were not on their iOS devices). Although I used a separate email, it was an alias of the first so may have caused a conflict / problem (?). I got rid of the second account with no change to the first.
The account still receives invites from the other internal user accounts and the other services such as file sharing are unaffected. There are no other problems with the functionality of that user, in calendar or otherwise.
I have tried changing the email associated with that user account and setting up a new test user account (in Server). The email invite will still not come through.
I have changed it back to the way it was originally.
    Summary
One of 10 user accounts does not receive external invites
    Was working until recently
The account can send invites to external addresses
Same email address will not work even when associated with a different account
I have included a large section of the calendar error log from the part that references the email address (in red) attached to the user account in question. Apologies, I am not familiar with deciphering this information. That is why I've come here.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks so much for your comment ~morgen.
Sorry, I should have mentioned, that it what my first thought so I tested by ensuring the email address associated with the user account (not hosted on the server but by Google Apps) is recieving all other mail.
    I have also tried:
    - Setting all accounts (calendar, email and contact card with associated email address) in another local user on a defferent Mac. So it's not a local user or Mail app issue.
    - Sending invites from different Calendar apps and email accounts - iCloud, Gmail (both using Apple Calendar and the web interface).
That's why I came back around to thinking it must be calendar server related. However is there is absolutly no conntact with the server with incoming email invites I must be looking in the wrong place (and the wrong forum - sorry!).
Does anyone have any ideas where I should be focusing my efforts?
    Many thanks in advance.

  • Is anyone using the Calendar Server to send external invites?

Is anyone using the Calendar Server to send external invites?
We have a Mountain Lion server running DNS, Open Directory, File Sharing and VPN. We have recently stood up the Calendar server and it is working very well. Internal invites work fine and are instantaneous to computer, iPhone, iPad. We have the ports working so that calendar items created outside the network work fine as well. Only problem is we cannot invite anyone with an external e-mail address. Each time we do the Calendar Error Log populates with:

We have set up an internal e-mail address. I have confined that it works fine. I have tried more than one internal account. I have also verified the settings through the command line by typing "sudo serveradmin settings calendar" The iMIP sending and receiving information is correct. There is no authentication type setting listed in the command line output even though there's a place to choose it in the Enable invitations by email - Edit button on the third screen. No matter what I choose it goes back to "login" and still doesn't work.
The command line settings mention a port number 62310 as being the MailGatewayPort but opening that port on the network's firewall makes no difference. As I said external set up works fine from Mac/iPhone/iPad and push notification works fine as well.
    Is anyone using this functionality?

I'm sorry. I forgot to add Mail to the list of services. I AM using mail on that server. Here's the iMIP portion of my settings output from Terminal.
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Sending:Server = "boardwalkserver.kuhnwitt.com"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Sending:UseSSL = yes
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Sending:Username = "calendarserver"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Sending:Address = "[email protected]"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Sending:Password = "password"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Sending:Port = 465
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Enabled = yes
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:MailGatewayPort = 62310
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:Server = "boardwalkserver.kuhnwitt.com"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:UseSSL = yes
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:Username = "calendarserver"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:PollingSeconds = 30
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:Type = "imap"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:Password = "password"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:Port = 993
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:AddressPatterns:_array_index:0 = "mailto:.*"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:MailGatewayServer = "localhost"
So Add mail to the services being used. Since Calendar is running on the mail server one would assume that it could communicate with it fairly easily.

  • In FF5, my 2 Gmail accounts log off randomly, then both tabs show same gmail 'name' asking to log back in, instead of 1 gmail name in 1 tab & the other gmail name in 2nd tab, as were originally logged in! Help, please..

New Acer desktop, loaded FF5 yesterday. I keep personal & professional Gmail both open at same time (worked fine in earlier FF versions). Today, both Gmails log themselves off at random & ask for log-in. But then both tabs either show personal Gmail name or show profl Gmail name ! Also signs me out of Google Reader & Calendar (both logged in w/ personal Gmail account), then gives prof Gmail name to sign back in (which won't work, of course). HELP!

instead of adding more to the already long post, I add via replying to myself:
writing about the issue made some things more clear, so I looked and found this:
    http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/201 … 00474.html
    which looks like my issue.
I went and tried - and a variation of it works.
    1.) I log out
2.) GDM gets restarted - inittab method
it gets restarted at VT8 - it was at VT7
3.) I go to another VT - like VT1 - and log in as root
4.) I find the pid of consolekit with:
    ps aux | grep console
    and kill it
    kill -9 <PID>
5.) I restart GDM - which will be at VT7 now, as it should
and then go back to VT1, because I'll be at the GDM-login screen at VT7 now...
6.) I find and kill consolekit _again_
7.) I can now switch to VT7 with GDM running and log in as it should be
console-kit-daemon will be started _again_ automatically
It seems it gets re-started at the wrong place - or with the wrong options
I always see it running like:
    root 6439 0.0 0.3 17432 2768 ? Sl 17:18 0:00 /usr/sbin/console-kit-daemon --no-daemon
Maybe it is the "--no-daemon" option? Or that it should not be started by GDM but only afterwards, by the Gnome-session?
    ...or something else...
It is not a solution really, since all this takes as much time as restarting the whole system, but without all the typing and killing and switching back and forth to consoles...but it works.
What is happening here? Is this normal? Where could my misconfiguration be?
    Cheers

  • Early 2011 MBP 13 random reboots (no Kernel Panic logged)

    Hi,
    Problem Description:
My MacBook Pro randomly reboots at least 1-2 times a day. I cannot find a kernel log because each restart is a double one.
Let me explain the problem further : 1. Im doing something (nothing specific..no specific app) on the mac 2. The screen freezes and becomes unresponsive ( I know a reboot is coming)
    3. I get the gray screen which says "Your computer restarted because of a problem..." ...this is followed by the white screen with the apple sign..it loads for a few seconds and it reboots AGAIN..this time i hear the chime...loads into the OS normally ...works until i either shut it down / put it to sleep / another random restart (varies from 1 hour to 6 hours )
    Things I've tried :
    SMC / PRAM reset
    Erase Drive and TimeMachine Restore
Apple Hardware Tests / Diagnostics all pass
Verify / Repair permissions / disk (did this a million times)
    Reindexed Spotlight
Erased Drive and did a clean install and MIGRATED files from TimeMachine
Safe Mode ( THIS did not have random reboots...also fyi ..i didn't try this for long)
    Logs Data:
Since I don't have the .panic files. I am pasting a chunk of the log before and after the PROBLEM.

  • Multiple Google Calendar Sync no longer possible?

I'm trying to set my iPad (WiFi) up to sync with multiple google calendars.  I did this successfully with my iPhone 4 a few months ago.  Now I'm trying to do the same with my iPad following Google's instructions here:
    http://support.google.com/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&topic=14252&answer=138740
However, now when I try to go to m.google.com, I don't get any option to sign in, or a list of my devices.  All I get is a page with Google Apps.  Has this now changed and Google has not updated this page?  Has anyone been able to configure this recently?

Ok. I'm not sure quite how I got this to work. I went to m.google.com from Safari on my iPad. I tapped on "Sync" and it didn't take me anywhere useful. I went back to m.google.com and tapped on "Calendar" and logged in. Still not what I wanted. On a lark, went back to m.google.com and tapped on "Sync" again. Bingo! It brought up a list of my mobile devices. From there, I could select the one I wanted and select my calendars. I think the key was logging in through Calendar.
    Best of luck.

  • CalDAV Calendars No Longer Work in Mountain Lion?!

Since upgrading to Mountain Lion, CalDAV no longer works for me - it fails to log in to the server (which I know is working because the same credentials and address still work on my iPhone and iPad).
I've tried deleting and re-adding the calendar and making sure alerts are not defaulted to none, but now, if I try to re-add it using the Wizard, it fails because it can't log in (it says it found a calendar but that my login failed), and if I edit the parameters for one that I know works to those now, it keeps telling me the server gave an error when I try to connect and asking for my password.  This is not the problem with creating and modifying events in Zimbra - I never even get there, I cannot log in to my CalDAV server anymore using credentials that I know work using other CalDAV clients.
Any help would be appeciated, this is a disabling, showstopper problem, I don't want to have to back out the OS install for this or g-d forbid, pave my machine, but I must have a functional calendar.

I unfortunately am still getting a serious problem with connecting to a non-Zimbra caldav server.  From looking in the logs, here is what I am seeing:
8/13/12 8:25:48.977 PM Calendar[6228]: *** WARNING: -[NSImage compositeToPoint:fromRect:operation:] is deprecated in MacOSX 10.8 and later. Please use -[NSImage drawAtPoint:fromRect:operation:fraction:] instead.

8/13/12 8:40:57.204 PM Calendar[6658]: [com.apple.calendar.ui.log.updatetext] [There was an error trying to get the status from CalendarAgent: 5]
(I tried the keychain fix and we're still getting this.)

My Macbook Pro (mid 2012 ish) is behaving very strangely. When I wake it up from sleep, it takes five minutes before it is responsive and lets me log in. The progress bar at the bottom rapidly moves to the last bar, then freezes for five minutes.
When I look at the logs, there is bizarre behavior. I get pages and pages of these kind of events:
    Jan 28 12:13:18 Matts-MacBook-Pro-2 kernel[0]: [0x8076547000, 0x1000]
    Jan 28 12:13:18 Matts-MacBook-Pro-2 kernel[0]: [0x807654a000, 0x1000]
    Jan 28 12:13:18 Matts-MacBook-Pro-2 kernel[0]: [0x807654e000, 0x1000]
    Jan 28 12:13:18 Matts-MacBook-Pro-2 kernel[0]: [0x8076552000, 0x1000]
    Jan 28 12:13:18 Matts-MacBook-Pro-2 kernel[0]: [0x8076556000, 0x1000]
    Jan 28 12:13:18 Matts-MacBook-Pro-2 kernel[0]: [0x8076558000, 0x1000]
    Jan 28 12:13:18 Matts-MacBook-Pro-2 kernel[0]: [0x807655c000, 0x1000]
    Jan 28 12:13:18 Matts-MacBook-Pro-2 kernel[0]: [0x807655f000, 0x1000]
    Jan 28 12:13:18 Matts-MacBook-Pro-2 kernel[0]: [0x8076562000, 0x1000]
    Like, 20 or thirty pages.
My Mac wakes itself up in the middle of the night for no apparent reason, performs some operations, and then logs thousands of the kernel events like the one above.
My Mac also seems to be trying to connect to strange DNS addresses.
I uploaded a copy of the bizarre log files here.
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59141003/Bizarre%20logs.rtf
It is malware? Is it a configuration issue? Is there a ghost in the machine?
    Appreciate anyone's help with this.
    Thanks much,
    Matt

Unfortunately that didn't fix it. I removed the network drive (and everything else) from login items and there are still problems. The Macbook only takes 2-3 minutes to wake, but this is still a long time. (Strangely, immediately after I removed the login item, the Mac woke up in ~30 seconds). There is also some sort of kernel that is occurring thousands of times while the Mac is sleeping. No idea why.
    Any ideas? Log files below:

  • Calendar Server Email Invitations

I have Mavericks server set up solely for the calendar. My mail is hosted externally. I set up an [email protected] account on my external mail server specifically for the this calendar server to use. In the server app, I enabled "Enable invitations by email" in the Calendar service and entered the info for my external server.
When I create an event and invite my internal users, everything works great. If I invite an external user, they never receive an email. I've tried with external mac.com and gmail.com addresses.
The calendar error log on the server is showing the following. The firewall is off. Any ideas for further troubleshooting this issue?
2015-04-08 10:42:06-0500 [-] [caldav-4]  [ESMTPSender, client] [txdav.caldav.datastore.scheduling.imip.smtpsender#error] Failed to send IMIP message <[email protected]> from [email protected] to mailto:[email protected] (Reason: Unable to connect to server.)
2015-04-08 10:42:06-0500 [-] [caldav-4]  [ESMTPSender, client] [txdav.caldav.datastore.scheduling.imip.smtpsender#error] Failed to send IMIP message <[email protected]> from [email protected] to mailto:[email protected] (Reason: Unable to connect to server.)

I went back and disabled SSL for the external email settings for the Calendar service, and it started sending mail. Not sure why that was an issue.

  • Calendar Server Error: At least one sharee was not recognized by the server. New invitations have not been sent.

I deployed a Mountain Lion Server with the calendar service active. Every time a user tries to share a calendar they have created under thier account to an external person using thier email address, the server gives the following error: "At least one sharee was not recognized by the server. New invitations have not been sent."
Invites to share a calendar to OD accounts on the server seem to work fine.
I have a calendar specific email address for external invites set up. The server seems to send individual event invites to external email addresses just fine, so I am thinking the email is working. Email is not served on the Mountain Lion Server. The account is through Google Apps using IMAP and SMTP.
What's even stranger, is that there doesn't seem to be any message in the Calendar error logs.
I've tried creating a new test account and no luck.
I don't know what else to try.
Thanks in advance for any help!
