Custom Graph Size Limitation?

I am working on trying to create a graph in OAF. I am able to get the graph to generate - I set the size to custom and set a height of 433 and width to 600.
The users would like to have the size be a lot larger. I tried to double the size and set the height to 866 and width to 1200. When I try to run the app again and generate the graph, I get this error:
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Invalid values specified: Custom Graph width= 1200, Custom Graph height= 866
Is there a limit to the size of graphs which is causing this error?

Hi Venkata
Please see notes 563145 and 1168062 for help

  • Custom page size results in blank page

I have a networked HP Color Laserjet 2605dn printer and have some 7.25"x5.25" envelopes that I need to print addresses on. So, I created a FileMaker database and went to print them with a custom page size I created and only get blank pages. If I change the page size to US Letter, it's OK, but obviously, the text appears in the wrong place. I used a different application Intaglio to see if it's a FileMaker issue or Mac OS issue and the problem occurs with Intaglio, also.
Just to be sure, I have re-installed the most recent HP driver (4.3.5.153) and there's still no difference. I do have the proper driver selected. The Generic Postscript driver does not appear to allow custom page sizes. I'm led to believe the HP driver may simply not support custom page sizes. Looks like I might have to use a Windows system to print these???? What a shame.

You may find that this a printer limitation rather than a driver issue. Is the envelope size you are using a supported size by the printer? If not, the envelope could be printing blank because the X-Y coordinates for the start of the text are based on a different size to the one you are loading into the printer. This would cause the text to print to a section that the envelope doesn't cover.
Some printers make you select a free-size setting for non-supported sizes and then rely on the driver to write the text onto the correct spot. Do you have such an option.

  • Input file size limition in File Reader Adapter

    Hi,
We have a File Read Activity(using File Reader Adapter) which works on a Polling model. Whenever a input file is found in a designated directory it invokes our BPEL web service. During load testing we found out that if input file size exceeds 7 MB then we get "insufficient heap space" error. We found a reference to this size limitation in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11036_01/integrate.1013/b28994.pdf which has below lines..
"Files that are 7MB or larger in size cannot be delivered. As an alternative, you can debatch large files (if they have multiple messages), and publish these files in messages of size less than 7 MB. This alternative is applicable only to structured files (comma-delimited or fixed position), which contain more than one message. It is not applicable to binary or XML files."
Our customer will have the data in XML format and the size of the files will be pretty huge(running into 49, 69 MBs). Do we have any workaround here or we are left with no option but to ask the customer to split the files and load it? The later option is currently difficult one for the customer since when split there is a possibility of XML becoming invalid. Any pointers in this issue is appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Balaji

    Hi,
BPEL can not process more than 7 MB size xml structred file. but, debatching will work for xml files also provided if the file has repeated multiple structures (means multiple repeated root elements).

  • Building a dvd with custom disk size (disk, ISO, or dvd folder)

My goal at the end of all this is to get a DVD format of video at 6mbps with menu's to be burned to a blu-ray 25GB disk.
    Using Encore CS6 on a Windows 7 (4.7Gzh 8-core, 16gb ram @2400mhz)
1st attempt:  I used a bluray disk and tried to burn a dvd format and it ejected my disk and said please insert a black dvd. (used custom disk of 25GB showing extra space available)
2nd attempt: I thought perhaps I would build it to an ISO (also tried dvd folder) to burn later. it responded with an error message saying, "disk capacity is too small - building navigation failed"
I dont care how I can get this to work but I would like to get all the video and menu's onto a single disk. Encore limits the "custom disk size" to 99GB so I assume it should work for 25GB (23.2GB).
The reason I dont want to make a bluray format is because it requires high bitrate and the video is so old it would be a waist of space. I dont need 720p of video from 1935. (unless I can make a bluray format at a 6mbps)
Thank you for any help you can provide
    bullfrogberry

You can do this in Encore.
I am assuming you are only picking presets, and not customizing one. You pick prests in the Transcode Settings dialog. Do you see the "Edit Quality Presets" button? Pick it, customize one by setting the bitrates to get the results you want, then SAVE IT as your own. Then pick that in the transcode setting. (In the transcode setting image, you can see my custom example "Stan Custom 4Mb CBR".) And yes, you can select all your video assets and apply this custom preset to all of them at once. I would do one short one to see if you are getting in the ball park. I would do 2 samples: one in MPEG2-Bluray and one in H.264-Blu-ray. (I'd follow Richard's recommendation to  you and use H.264.)

  • Web.Show_Document - Is there a file size limitation?

It appears that Web.Show_Document has a problem displaying large .pdfs.
Example: A .pdf size of *2505 KB* would not display, however I compressed the .pdf to *1172 KB* and the report displayed using web.show_document successfully.
I am displaying the .pdf in an Oracle forms using web.show_document. The user presses a button (View Report) and it displays the report. Except, now it is not displaying reports close to 2000 KB in size.
    The error says **"Exhausted Resultset"**
Is there a file size limitation with web.show_document?
    Environment Background:
Forms [32 Bit] Version 9.0.4.1.0 (Production)
    Oracle Toolkit Version 9.0.4.1.0 (Production)
    PL/SQL Version 9.0.1.5.1 (Production)
    Report Builder 9.0.4.1.0
    ORACLE Server Release 9.0.1.5.1
Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bit Production

As already mentioned, WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT has nothing to do with file size. This command simply sends a url to the system's default browser. There is no Oracle magic here.
To the problem, you said:...The error says **"Exhausted Resultset"**Where are you seeing this message?
    Is Forms generating this message?
    Is this a custom message?
Is this the complete message text?
    Is there an error number?
This does not appear to be a Forms generated error message.
I would suggest your store a large file in the same location as where your reports are located. The file should be of the same format (i.e. pdf). Open a browser and manually enter the necessary url to retrieve the content. I suspect the same problem would reproduce IF you believe the problem only occurs when the form calls WEB.SHOW. If it does reproduce then you have at least simplified the problem to a client browser requesting a document from a server.

  • Email size limits.

What is the email size limits used by Verizon. I use Outlook 2010 and have edited the refistry as recommended by Microsoft article and am still unable to send large emails even less than 20MB are rejected.

20MB is the size limit for email attachments using a third party client like Outlook.

  • HTMLResources File Size Limitation

    Hello:
Is there a size limitation for the HTMLResources file? I'm creating a publication which access a lot of files within the HTLMResources.zip file and don't want to spoil all I've made before facing a limit on the size.
    Leo

John this is in regards to the questions from Leo above at Dalai, Inc. Is there an update to this 'issue' anywhere? Every time they made an update, it doesn't matter what (update of a button, changing a text, update a link) in folio builder, the HTMLResources disappears!!  we had to upload the HTMR file every single time we made a change!, maybe that doesn't sound like a big deal, but size of our HTML file is 141.4MB and we have to wait more than an hour for update. The scenario is they have a folio that is very large like InDesign CS5 (latin american spanish version), and we made a publication of over 250 pages (in horizontal and vertical) divided in 19 stacks, with more than 140 images, sounds and interaction,
I've update this tools (in latin american spanish):

1.) Is there a size limitation for the HTMLResources file? This customer has alot of content on their Ocean App in App Store. 2.) Is there a timeframe as to when we will updating or is there a workaround I am unaware of ? It is working now, but I would like to research as to why this happens. Thanks, John.

  • DLP Attachment Scanning - Size Limitations

Is it documented anywhere what the attachment file size limitations are for DLP scanning?  In the ESA Configuration documentation I read:
"To scan attachments, the content scanning engine extracts the attachment for the RSA Email DLP scanning engine to scan."
Can you identify what scanning engine is referenced by "content scanning engine" and what is the maximum attachment size it can process?  Also are those settings modifiable and some indcation of performance impact if they are increased to a maximum of 50 MB per attachment?
I know you can make some modifications in the DLP policy, however it is our desire to DLP scan every document sent up to our allowable maximum email size.
If large attachments cannot be scanned we may be forced to reduce our maximum message/attachment file size.
We are currently using Async O/S 7.5.1-102 and will be moving to 7.6.0 when it comes GA.

    Hello David,
The content scanning engine in reference is the same AsyncOS scanning engine responsible or Message and Content Filter scanning. The maximum size of attachment to scan for this scanning engine is controlled by your 'scanconfig' setttings, as configured in the IronPort CLI. The default 'maximum size of attachment to scan' is 5MB.
    IronPort1.example.com>scanconfig
There are currently 6 attachment type mappings configured to be SKIPPED.
Choose the operation you want to perform:
    - NEW - Add a new entry.
    - DELETE - Remove an entry.
    - SETUP - Configure scanning behavior.
    - IMPORT - Load mappings from a file.
    - EXPORT - Save mappings to a file.
    - PRINT - Display the list.
    - CLEAR - Remove all entries.
    - SMIME - Configure S/MIME unpacking.
    []> setup
    1. Scan only attachments with MIME types or fingerprints in the list.
    2. Skip attachments with MIME types or fingerprints in the list.
    Choose one:
    [2]>
Enter the maximum depth of attachment recursion to scan:
    [5]>
Enter the maximum size of attachment to scan:
    [5242880]>
    <...>
Any message that is larger than this limit will be skipped by the scanning engine. This would mean that pertinent DLP policys and filters would not match that same message. Naturally, allowing larger messages to be scanned will result in performance risks, as more system resources would be required to complete the content scanning.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8100 ePrinter & custom paper sizes

Have found all the helpful instructions about creating new custom paper sizes in Windows 7. But am complete novice & need to buy a printer for a charity. Settled on this model because of good reviews but most work will be 1 document of custom paper size. Need to know if the instructions given are fail-proof!! (Before i spend their money.)
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    Hello invqn,
after having performed some detailed research, as well as installing the Pro 8100 (and other products) on a Windows 7 system, we determined the Pro 8100 doesn't support Custom Sizes:  that was by design and intent.
Note that one of our engineer's proposed using a different set of drivers (from an older device) as a potential work-around, but this is unproven and may serve to limit your overall functionality of the device.
However, we did confirm that a newer device that is currently out, the HP Officejet Pro 8610 (or 8620 or 8630) e-All-in-One, DOES support custom sizes; these are multi-function printers.
Using the instructions in the link you sent, you can create new Forms with custom sizes and it will show up in the Printer Properties for you to use/select. It supports custom sizes from 3.00 x 5.00 in. to 8.50 x 14.00 in.
Our intent is only to provide information on what we know; you might take a moment and perhaps see if an HP Marketing representative might be able to give you more information, but that's what we have.
       We hope this helps....

  • Custom Paper Size : Migrating from 6i to 10g report server engine

    Hi,
    pardon my bad english !!
I'm studying to migrate form/reports 6i to 10G. In report 6i we have reports with custom paper size ("A5" format that is half of "A4", 15x21cm).
In report server 6i environment (Win2000 server) we have done this configuration.
    - We configure printer; one input tray has "custom" format.
    - We create an OS user (es. CustRep);this user has a "default printer" that has input tray with "custom" format as default tray.
    - We create a new report server (es. CustRepSrv); this report server start as service with CustRep user credentials.
    - Every report (PDF format) generated and printed (destype=printer, desname="My Printer") with CustRepSrv report server get custom format as paper size and so fit with Custom tray definition on the printer.
Can I do the same in report server 10G environment ??
    Thanks

  • Z3200 won't print to custom page size

    Hello,
I've created a banner that is 23"w x 82"h (in CorelDraw Suite 4).  The page setup of the Corel file is 23" w x 82"h.  I've been trying to print it on the z3200 designjet, but have had no luck.  I created several custom page sizes (23" x 82", 24" x 85", 24" x 82") using both the "Printer Properties" dialogue within CorelDraw as well as adding a "Form" in the "Print Server Properties", none of them work.  I've set the correct paper (24" wide HP Bright White Bond, feeding from the roller) on  the actual printer itself, and in the Printer Properties.
I've played around with all of the different settings that I can and sometimes see the following error message:
[1/1]Paper size selected (width:23.00 inches, height: 82.00 inches) is larger than loaded paper (width: 24 inches).  Please verify your printer setup.
When the page prints, it is resizing the content to be 8.5" wide.
I don't know what I'm missing.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  • Photosmart C410: How do I associate a custom paper size with the photo tray?

Our Photosmart 3310 recently broke down and I purchased a C410 to replace it.  I sell a small item online that I ship in 3 5/8 x 6 1/2 envelopes.  With the 3310, I had figured out a way to print the envelopes from the photo tray.  While Word 2007 allows me to select the photo tray, the printer would not print from there until I created a custom paper size in the printer preferences dialog box.
One of the reasons I got the C410 was for the photo tray.  It's a real pain to have to swap out the regular paper and stick in one evelope every time I want to print another envelope.  Well, unfortunately, that's what I've been doing.  I select the photo tray in Word, but the printer goes right ahead and prints from the main tray.  I had forgotten what I did to make it work on the 3310, so I experimented with that printer's drivers until I figured it out.
My problem is that the software interface for the C410 is different than that for the 3310.  I can't figure out how to associate a custom paper size with the photo tray.  To test my theory this evening, I told Word that my envelope size was 5 x 7.  The printer didn't hesitate to take an envelope from the photo tray.  Of course the return address went into a dark void because the envelope is not 5 x 7.
The difference between the two interfaces is that the 3310 has both printing shortcuts as well as "Print Task Quick Sets."  The C410 only has printing shortcuts.
If anyone can help me, I'll be very grateful!  I've probably spent hours trying to get this figured out, and I have no idea what to do.

    Hi,
Which Microsoft product (application) are you using ? Printer supports the following custom sizes:
From ADF: Custom-sized media (ADF) between 127 to 216 mm wide and 241 to 305 mm long (5 to 8.5 inches wide and 9.5 to 12 inches long)
From input tray: Custom-sized media between 76.2 to 216 mm wide and 101 to 762 mm long (3 to 8.5 inches wide and 4 to 30 inches long)
You need to select right custom size from the application.

    Hello Landfish,
    Good Day...
The output gives the information that Size limit set for Receive and Send is 100 mb, but setting could have changed. So you can follow the below steps to resolve the issue.
There are basically three places where you can configure default message size limits on Exchange:
    Organization transport settings
    Send/receive connector settings
    User mailbox settings.
To check your server’s current limit you can open Exchange Management Shell
Try the below commands to check the Message quota size limit
    get-transportconfig | ft maxsendsize, maxreceivesize
    get-receiveconnector | ft name, maxmessagesize
    get-sendconnector | ft name, maxmessagesize
get-mailbox Administrator |ft Name, Maxsendsize, maxreceivesize
To change the above size limits based on your requirement.
Set-TransportConfig -MaxSendSize 200MB -MaxReceiveSize 500MB (Size is based on your requirement)
    Attachment size limit
To set up the rule you can use the below PowerShell cmdlet, as the method is quite simple
New-TransportRule -Name LargeAttach -AttachmentSizeOver 20MB -RejectMessageReasonText "Message attachment size over 20MB - email rejected."

  • How do I print on a greeting card in landscape when I can't save custom paper size?

I have a J6450 running on XP SP3 with the latest drivers and patches installed.  I have greeting card stock measuring 6.5 by 10.0 inches and a Microsoft Word document with a custom paper size matching the that stock prints in landscape mode.  The printer error is "Paper Mistmatch.  Paper size or type is incorrect."  I have followed the suggestions on the HP support page, changing the Print, Properties, Features options to show "Other greeting card", but can't define a custom paper size to match the stock.  The Save option is not available.  What do I need to do to make this work?

  • How to Get Around the Memo Size Limitations in CR ?

I am Using Crystal Reports 2008, SQL Database and ASP .Net Visual Studio 2010 for Team Foundation with Crystal Viewer embedded in a web page.  All current update and patches area installed.
Database has Memo Fields up to 164000 characters in length. Viewer show fine, but with the reports that have been designed to print this information, only seeing part of the Memo field.
This happens with both RTF, Text and HTML formatted data from within the database field.
I have read that there is a limitation on the size of a Memo field that Crystal Reports will print (65,534).
I actually received an Crystal Reports error box when i try to concatenate multiple substring fields as a formula.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on a work-around ?
Due to legal considerations, this data has to be output as it was input, so it can't be hacked. It can be parsed and again merged  but I really donu2019t want to try and write SQL procedures to parse HTML code into readable multiple pieces based on variable length tags with large memo fields.
