Custom Stamp Orientation when created

ok, This is frustrating with a company like Adobe. I get a signature from a document, crop it from the document from the PDF. Save it as blah blah signature. Go to custom stamps, create custom stamps, browse for the signature.pdf I want, hit ok. Then when I go to us it I get a wonderful stamp that at 90 degrees!! No matter how I save the original pdf to make the stamp, it's always at 90 degrees....upside down, 90, 270 degrees, stamp comes out at 90. There's been no answer to this from others on the the same issues as far back as a year. I find this very frustrating....I have made stamps before and some how they came out correct, but now cannot get one without having to fix it.
This should not be that difficult....please! Any help would be greatly appreciated. I use signatures every day and this is very frustrating.
Thank you!

Hi Sarah,
Yes, I am saving the signature as a pdf originally. I have some that worked in the past….the signatures I have are already in pdf. I crop them and then create the stamp from there.
Thanks,
Bill

    Is it possible to create a custom photo layout when creating a photobook in iphoto? How about adding text boxes?

    Yes and no
    You can not make a custom template nor can you modify one
    You can do a page in other software and then print to PDF using the send PDF to iPhoto option and place the resulting image as a full page photo - See Old Toad's tutorial No.19 for more information.

    Hi,
    In my company, we need input customer ref. no when create a new sales order, but I found there was no any validation to avoid input a existed number.
    Can somebody show me how to add some check function on this filed?

    Hi,
    This can be handled in standard system.
    Go to Administration> System Initialization> Document Settings>Per Document (Tab)> Select Sales Order-->Tick Block release (When duplicated  customer reference no. occurs).

  • Use a Custom Page Layout When Creating [[new pages]] in Enterprise Wiki

    I have followed a few different blogs and I've been able to create a custom wiki content type and create a new page layout based off of that content type. I've also set my site so that my new layout is the default page layout. This works when creating
    new pages on the site but when i try to create a new wiki page --> [[new page]], I'm still getting the typical blank wiki template. How on earth do i get my page layout to sync with creating a new wiki page?

    Hi,
    For your issue, go to Site Actions > Site Settings > Page layouts and site templates (Under Look and Feel).
    Pages in this site can only use the following layouts: add custom wiki template.
    Select default page layout: choose custom wiki template.
    Besides, here is a blog, you can use as a reference:

  • Portrait pics wrong orientation when creating slide show

    Running Premiere Elements 8 and loading a slide show for Photoshop Elements 8.  Everything is fine but got to some of my "portrait" pics and they are rotated in the wrong direction and stretched.  The puzzling thing is that all the pics came from same camera (Canon Rebel XTI) and some are OK, others are not. Any help would be greatly appreciated, or a solution to correct this.  Thanks.

    Correction?
    Hunt
    From your screenshot of the Premiere Elements 4.0 Properties Palette/Motion Panel and the Motion Panel's properties which include Rotate, I believe that you and SG are talking about the same thing but
    (a) you are letting your “fixed” in “fixed Effect>Motion>Rotation (from the Edit Effects)” obscure what you are saying
    and
    (b) SG, is limiting his vision to right clicking the video, selecting Show Properties, and set Rotation to 90 (where in reality you get the options of Rotate Left or Rotate Right or dial in a rotation depending on which direction the rotation needs to go in.).
    I actually have Premiere Elements 4.0, 7.0, and 8.0.1 installed on my computer and use them one at a time all the time, so here is my take on the matter.
    For Timeline content rotation you need to get to the Properties Palette/Motion Panel and the Rotation property in the Motion Panel. PERIOD. You can adjust the Rotation by clicking the Rotate Left or Rotate Right buttons there OR dial in the rotation with your mouse cursor to the right of that area.
    THE PROPERTIES PALETTE FOR PREMIERE ELEMENTS 4.0, 7.0, AND 8.0/8.0.1 ARE EXACTLY THE SAME IN THIS REGARD.
    Getting to the Premiere Elements Properties Panel
    Premiere Elements 4.0
    a. right clicking the video and selecting Show Properties
    or
    b. Window Menu/Properties
    Premiere Elements 7.0 and 8.0/8.0.1
    a. right clicking the video and selecting Show Properties
    or
    b. Window Menu/Properties
    or
    c. Highlighting the video on the Timeline and then clicking on the Properties Icon just above the Timeline
    Although the Edit Effects option after you apply an Effect will take you to the Properties Panel, I do not see where it is really needed under the circumstances and in light of the other avenues.
    But when all that Band-Aid talk is put out the way, the fundamental issue is the rotation of video on transfer of the Photoshop Elements slideshow to Premiere Elements, using the Photoshop Elements Edit With Premiere Elements Command. That and black video are frequent “unexpected” slideshow transfer issues when one uses oversized photos in one of these projects destined for DVD-VIDEO. Resizing of the photos to pixel dimensions not to exceed 1000 x 750 pixels and checking out your computer resources should be priority business. Remember Premiere Elements is a 32 bit application running in the 32 bit compatibility mode of a 64 bit system and as such has the limitations of 32 bit. It is not a 64 bit application that can take full advantage of that 64 bit installed RAM. A 32 bit system supports max 4 GB installed RAM of which about 3 GB RAM or less are available. How much available RAM does your computer have when you are running Photoshop Elements Premiere Elements?

  • Custom Stamp no longer worker in Acrobat X

    I created a custom stamp using Adobe X; not sure it was working the way it was suppose to but it still met my needs.
    I used a PDF form which I created using Word, added some form fields and saved it.
    Added the PDF form file as a custom stamp.
    Opened another PDF document and was able to insert the custom stamp.....and this is where I don't know if it really worked correctly or not.  The stamp was basically an image, none of the fields were accessible; I thought a PDF form would act like a dynamic stamp but it didn't work as I expected.
    But if I opened the original PDF of the stamp and filled in the form fields & saved it and then inserted the custom stamp again, all the fields were updated/filled in.
    But then for some reason my custom stamp disappeared from stamp pull down menu.  And now when I try to add it back it creates an anonymous PDF file with the current form fields filled in.  If I open the original PDF stamp and change any of the form fields and save it, the custom stamp doesn't update when I go and insert it again.
    And if I delete that anonymous PDF file, my custom stamp again disappears from the stamp pull down menu.
    This now happens with any PDF file I use to create a custom stamp; Acrobat X creates an anonymous PDF file.
    If anyone has any idea how to fix this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Behavior for PDFs is not handled by SharePoint, but rather Adobe Acrobat. Validate Adobe Acrobat's PDF browser extension has been disabled (you can do this via IE and I believe Adobe Acrobat has this option within it's own Preferences).

  • Creating Custom Stamp

    Hello all.
    I am working on Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard. I am trying to create a custom stamp of my signature. When I import my signature , it shows up perfectly (reading horizontally, like I want it), but when I go to insert the stamp , it is rotating it 90 degrees clockwise for some reason (reading top to bottom). I know I can edit the stamp and make it horizontal again (reading left to right) but that is quite a hassle considering I use the stamp 6-10 times a day. I would really like to insert the stamp and just print the page. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this or why the stamp is rotating.
    Thank you in advance.

    I figured it out!
    was having the same issue and it cost me half the morning at work.
    when i was creating the stamp, i needed some comments and markups added and to "flatten it" i was printing it to PDF and then croping the page to the size i wanted and then importing it as a stamp. anyway, when i was printing to pdf, in the print dialogue box, in the section "Page Handling", the option "Auto-Rotate and Center" was checked, this was forcing my stamp to be centered and the page orientation to be landscape. For kicks n giggles, I unchecked it, the page orientation changed to Portrait and my stamp image went to the upper left. I cropped my result as I normally would, and upon creating the new custom stamp, it was right as rain. hope this helps!

  • Problem when applying a custom stamp, it shows on my document on the screen but when I print it, the stamp is not there.

    I have my pdf open, I created a custom stamp.  Applied the stamp to the document and I see it.  Save my document and then do either a print preview or print it and the stamp is not showing!  This method of applying stamps used to work but something has changed.  I thought it even worked when using Acrobat Standard X but can't be sure.  Really need help as even documents I created previously with stamps applied and I have proof that they printed with the stamp, won't print with the stamp on it.  Thank you.

    You don't even need to use a third party tool.
    Open the JavaScript Console (Control+J)
    Type the text string below in the JavaScript Console and hit Control+Return key.
    this.flattenPages();
    It will flatten all of the annotations and fields within the document to ensure that all the comments and stamps print.

  • Create custom stamps - where do I find this in X?

    Hello,
    Just recently upgraded from Acrobat 9 Professional to X Pro and can't find where the custom stamp command is now located.  This is something I use frequently in my work - either QC stamps or design info stamps on plan drawing pdf - where I create the stamp information in Word, convert to pdf, then pick up and use the information in Stamps (Create or Manage).
    This revision (from 9 to X) is pretty radical, compared to previous upgrades, and requires almost relearning the entire program. A huge loss of time, so hopefully once I'm up to speed it will be faster/more streamlined than previous versions.  Hopefully.
    Thanks in advance for any illumination on where to find this feature!

    Hi, Dave,
    Your note made me realize that all my custom stamps are gone after my upgrade.  Upgrades are done by the IT department, and I didn’t think to save my stamps, so I can’t check to compare. Dang. It’s not a huge deal, ultimately – creating in 9 was easy, and recreating them will give me experience in X.
    I did notice something of what you describe when creating a custom stamp for a coworker while I was still on 9; his computer already had the X upgrade, and I noticed the stamp was cut off in the Custom Stamp drop down menu in X, though it stamped correctly on the document. Because this was only one/one time I didn’t take much notice of it, but it corroborates what you describe.

  • Using Bookmark Names to create Custom Stamps

    Hi all,
      I am a VB programmer that is struggling with a task in JS.  I am trying to do 1 of 2 things:  I would prefer #2.
    1.Create a custom stamp using the filename.
    or
    2.Create a custom stamp using the bookmark name (which in turn will be the filename)
    I have been foooling around for a number of hours trying to get this to work out, here's what I have done so far:
    I have created a stamp, the stamp has two text boxes that I need to fill from one string. The string is in the format of
    "08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00001_A.pdf" with a varying number of characters before the underscore, but always the same after the underscore. In the first text box I need
    08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00001 which I get with
    Code:
    event.value = event.source.source.documentFileName.slice(0,-6); this work great. The second box needs to contain the letter(s) that are between the "_" and the ".pdf" and everything I have tried doesn't produce a result.
    I focused most of my time trying to split the filename up, figuring the same logic would be applied to the bookmarks.
    The things I have tried:
    [CODE]
    var str = event.source.source.documentfilename;
    var strt = str.lastindexof("_");
    var end = str.lastindexof(".");
    event.value = str.substring(strt,end);
    and
    var arrStr = event.source.source.documentfilename.split("_");  ' **Harcoding = "08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00001_A.pdf" works**
    var arrstr2 = arrStr[1].split(".");                                             'But isn't very dynamic
    event.value = arrstr2[0];
    and
    var str = event.source.source.documentfilename;
    var arrStr = str.split("_");
    var arrstr2 = arrStr[1].split(".");
    event.value = arrstr2[0];
    [/CODE]
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
    Bent

    GJ - The bookmark would be selected manually and the stamp would reflect the change.  The sole purpose of this is to combine and stamp hundreds of documents in the most efficient manner.
    So for example:
    I combine 3 docs by selecting them in Windows and right clicking and selecting combine:
    08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00002_A.pdf
    08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00002_B.pdf
    08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00002_C.pdf
    I would have 3 bookmarks automatically when the combination occurs:
    08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00002_A
    08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00002_B
    08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00002_C
    So when I select the bookmark 08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00001_A then click stamps - dynamic stamps , my two text boxes have used this bookmark to get                 Text 1                          Text 2
                                                                           08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00001     A
    Then I manually select the next bookmark and select stamp and it has used the next bookmark name to create a stamp  with two text boxes now              08363-G-5109-DWG-R-00002      B
    If I had to stamp them first them combine, I would have to open one, stamp, save close rinse and repeat 100 times then combine.
    GK - I did have a poke around with bookmarkRoot.children, but the only result I ended up with was the word "Root" in the second box.  I couldn't seem to determine if JS automatically builds the children collection based on the number of bookmarks off the root, or if I had to programmatically build it with an array.

  • Can only get the "Draft" stamp when insert customer stamp with C#+JS

    I am trying to insert customer stamp in batch files with C#+JS.
    My JS works well in Acrobat. However, it doesn't work when use C#+JS. I always get the Acrobat's "Draft" stamp other than my own ones (the AP value is confirmed correct).
    In c#, it runs as this ( with the objectype.InvokeMember())
    1. initial an annotation with addAnnot first and get the properties object with method of getProp().
    2. Set the type entry of the properties object as "Stamp"
    3. With setProp(), modify the annotation to a Stamp annotation, and then get the properties object of the Stamp annotation.
    4. Set the entries (rect, page, AP ) of the properties object. Then use setProp() again to modify the properties of the Stamp annotation.
    The program runs without any error message. But I can only get the default stamp "Draft".
    One thing I found so far, in JS console in Acrobat, if I set the AP properties AFTER set the annotation type to "Stamp", it also get the "Draft" stamp only. as this,
         annot = this.addAnnot();
         prop = annot.getProps();
         prop.type = "Stamp";
         annot.setProps(prop);
         prop = annot.getProps();
         prop.page = 0;
         prop.rect = [0, 0, 100, 100];
         prop.AP = "#xxxxxxxx";
         annot.setProps(prop);
    If I set the prop.Ap before the forth line in above para, I can get the right stamp.
         annot = this.addAnnot();
         prop = annot.getProps();
         prop.type = "Stamp";
         prop.AP = "#xxxxxxxx";
         annot.setProps(prop);
         prop = annot.getProps();
         prop.page = 0;
         prop.rect = [0, 0, 100, 100];
         annot.setProps(prop);
    Or, if I set the props in the typcial JS format like below, I also get the right one
    annot = this.addAnnot({
    type: stamp,
    page: 0,
    rect: [0,0,100,100]
    AP: #xxxxxxxx)});
    But, the problem is, in C#, the AP properties can only be set after set the annotation type as Stamp (step 4). I think this might be the reason, but I don't know how to get over this.
    Please help. Thanks!

    No, it can't – but you could do that yourself as part of the watermarking process (ie. Two watermarks or fields)

  • When creating a custom SearchPlugin, is it possible to add more code such as uppercase conversion of the SearchText and IF statements that change the URL depending on what is typed?

    When creating a custom SearchPlugin, is it possible to add more code such as uppercase conversion of the searchTerms and IF statements that change the URL depending on the searchTerms? Every time I try to add something firefox doesn't want to add it as a search plugin. I need to create a more powerful search tool for personal use.

    I've found some external software applications that will do it, so that leads me to believe its not possible within ID CC.

  • I want to create an 'editable' custom stamp.

    I want to create an editable custom stamp.
    I can scan in my stamp image in the create custom stamp tool, no problem.
    But I would like to make several editable fields: date, reviewer's initials, submittal number.
    Anyone know how to?
    Thanks

    You not only need to create a custom stamp, but you need to add dymanic form fields. See AUC Tutorials - Dynamic Stamps for more information.

  • Problem when creating contract  with foreign trade / customs

    Hi,
    I encountered a problem when creating contract / outline agreement.
    I used ME31K to create a contract with a vendor outside of our country. I suppose that I should be able to see "Foreign Trade / Customs" in "Header" menu, but this entry is gray, I cannot enter it.
    I tried to create a scheduling agreement using ME31L with the same vendor and material, I can see "Foreign Trade / Customs" information. I suppose these two process are similar, aren't they?
    Btw., I checked the master data according to this thread:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/ed/3b6cc697e711d1b4e20000e82d81b0/content.htm
    Can anyone give me some hint?
    Thanks!
    Charlie

    These two processes are different:
    The Contract agreement or the Outline Agreement is that create the centrally contract (cross-plant) where it can maintain different pricing conditions for each and every plant. It creates the Release Order with reference to Outline Agreement. No detailed delivery schedule can be made in the Release Order. No Release documentation is created. Only time-dependent conditions can be created, Some Item Category 'M' and 'W' can be used.
    Whereas the Scheduling Agreement is the Plant Location what must be entered in the Scheduling Agreement. Its no need to create any other purchasing document except for delivery schedule line via Transaction ME38 or MRP running (with the appropriate setting of Source List). Delivery Schedule line items are created subject to your specific requirement. It can create both Scheduling Agreement with or without release of Documentation (subject to the Document Type LP or LPA) with the selection of either FRC or JIT delivery schedule. Either time-dependent or time-independent conditions can be created subject to the customizing in the Document Type of the Scheduling Agreement. Item Category 'M' and 'W' can not be used.
