Custom Table View

Hi,
I want to provide more than three component in the table view.
Two images/Icons (Left Side), Text with Subtitle, Text (Date and Time at right-hand side)and Detail Disclosure button.
How can i create this with the custom table view?

Hello Everyone,
I have been having problems with my accessory views in my custom cell views. I am expecting that the accessory views will show up by only setting the accessoryType property correctly. View is always a better option..using a view you can avoid the naming convention problems associated with fields or Table names.

Save functinality for a zcomponent (table view)

Hi ,
I have created a zcomponent with a table view in it.
i have include the zcomponent(table view) in BP page.
Now when i press on save button of BP page ,i need to save the data entered in the custom table view.
so i need to redefine the save evenet (which is there in bp_head).
How could i access the conents of table view in bp_head?

The ideal code should look like this .. where BUILHEADER is the context node in the component controller
and PARTNER is the context node in the custom component. Remember that the context node name in '' should match the exact name as it is declared in the method create_++++++ method. check in debugging if binding works.

Registering db objects (tables , views , e.t.c)

Hi,
Having connected with a Developer Responsibility , i see a submenu of "Database" which contains the menu entries "Tables" , "Views" , "Sequences"...
When these functions are used....????In order to define/register custom tables,views,sequences with the Application Object Libraries....???
If yes , is it required to ...and under which circumstances...???
Somebody developed some custom form modules/reports using custom db objects which have not been registered...!!!

Registration is not necessary in order for your custom developments to work. However, if You are planning on using certain standard functionality (i.e. flexfields, attachments) on your custom objects, you'll need to register some of the information.

Addition of a custom column in a table view

This can definately be done....you will have to declare and iterator and in the GET_COLUMN_DEFINITIONS, declare the column name....

Hi,
You do not have to do anything explicitely for the foreign key relationships in the table maintainance generator.
Create the table maintainance generator via SE11 and it will take care of all teh foreign key checks by itself.

Adding custom fields to table view assignment block

As naveen sadid use Cutomer_i object . I guess it will be more appropriate.

How to find T-CODES for maintenance view of custom tables?

Hi,
I have a list of custom tables for which maintenance view is generated. Also, many of them might have a T-Codes assigned to them.
I need to know how to find out these T-codes?
Is there some table which maintains these or a function module which can give the t-code name?
Help will be appreciated.

MSS custom query restrictions (table/view/join)

Dear all,
We are currently trying to integrate a sap query which also gathers data from event management. This query is based on an infoset and a table view and not on a logical database.
When executing the query within the portal (generictableview iview) we get the error message "No data records found". While debugging the function module HR_INFO_GET_USING_QUERY which is called here we found out that the error message is generated because no logical database is retrieved.
Therefore my question is: are mss queries in portal restricted to queries which are based on logical databases only or can we create and use queries in portal which are based on table/views/joins?
Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated!

I am still searching and I have not found a solution yet.
Interestingly enough the query can be executed without any problems in R/3 but not from the portal iView. Therefore I am wondering if it is only a restriction on the MSS side.
@forum users: did anyone of you face this problem and has a solution to it?

Hide data in a table view

I need to hide data in a table..Only column headers required to display.. I tried by (display column headers only) in view..It is showing only column header in the view ..But when iam displaying the table in dashboard it displays data also..another approach i took is to hide data from column properties ...Custom css display:none.. it is working fine..But the thing is it will not display data in other views also.I need to hide data only in table view..any helps will be appreciated.. Thank you

Try this....
Take columns twice and first set which is use in table view (use display:none)
and second set use in pivot table and exclude first set columns........

what do you mean by "how"?
When you say custom table do you mean "Customization table" or a "Customer table" (in namespace Z... or Y...)
Anyway, you can access SE11 transaction, view the table and then check its attributes.

Help needed with conditions in Table View

Another question regarding the dashboard we are building:
We use a custom function module to display marketing attributes for a particular customer. There are three kinds of marketing attributes of which we want to display the value:
- Z_QUADRANT
- Z_SOW
- Z_WALLET
If I use the function module as a data service in Visual Composer and use a standard table view as ouput, we get these kind of output:
Atnam - Atwrt - Atflv - Atzhl (<-- these are the column labels)
Z_QUADRANT - 4 - 0 - 0
Z_SOW - 0 - 5 - 0
Z_WALLET - 0 - 75.000 - 0
I just want to display the data as follows:
QUADRANT: 4
SOW: 5%
WALLET: 75.000
So I need to hide the obsolete fields and values and just need to display the relevant values. How can I achieve this? I was guessing I needed to implement some sort of conditional formula like "IF atnam = Z_QUADRANT, display Atwrt(value)" or something, but I am terrible at these kind of things. Can somebody explain it to me or point in the right direction of some good documentation or guide on this? Thanks in advance!

I now chose to use a form which uses the output from the tables. This is the table I use as input for the form:

I use the following formula for the quadrant:
IF(@ATNAM=="EU_BP_NPS_QUADRANT",@ATWRT,"0")
This returns a value of "4" which is correct.
For SOW I use the following formula:
IF(@ATNAM=="EU_BP_NPS_SOW",@ATFLV,"WRONG")
Strangely enough the return value is "WRONG" in the form. What am I missing here?

How to enable the DFF in OAF page(where Dff is based on the custom table).

I am in the process of enabling the dff in OAF page. I am not able to enable the dff if am using the Custom table.
Ex:
Assume that my DFF XX_DFF is using the custom table XX_TABLE of att1,att2..
I am able to enable the dff in OAF page but not able to make those values entered to get stored in the custom table.
I need helping hands to help me out to get the entered dff values stored in my custom table.
Kindly provide me the steps so that I can follow up..

How to make a single row as editable in a table view?

As per the requirement,i have created a new table view with table row level actions. But I am able to achieve the delete functionality. But for edit action, if i lock the corresponding entity also it is not becoming as edit.

In your row level buttons if you want to edit a row you have to fallow this steps..
1) get the selected record by using index.
2) get the action mean which action you want to perform ( edit or delete like).
3) lock the current entity.
4) get the custom or comp controller instance based on get the current record.
5) edit the row..
