Customer loyalty program?
I have been challenging Verizon WIreless lately for (in my view) their lack of a decent customer loyalty program. I have been with Verizon since 1999, and my bill/equipment has went from 2 voice-only phones for about $50 a month to my current 5 smartphones (two 4G/LTE, three 3G) for about $332/month. Every time I see a promotion, and I look into it, it is always for new customers only, or it is something I cannot use (like buy one get one free).
I feel taken for granted, and I would like Verizon to "show some love" for long term loyal customers, and offer loyalty program awards that are not available to brand new customers. Potential examples include service discounts based on years of service, reduced fees for minutes/data overages, periodic bill credits for longevity on your contract, and reduced price upgrades after one year. (It is my experience, with three teenagers, that smartphones only last about 10-14 months, and the Assurion insurance plans add up when you have them on 5 lines...). I would also REALLY like my employee discount applied to my ENTIRE bill, not just the primary line:-)
(I had a similar complaint with DirecTV, and they gave me a credit for 3 free PPV movies for sharing my thoughts with them.)

(It is my experience, with three teenagers, that smartphones only last about 10-14 months, and the Assurion insurance plans add up when you have them on 5 lines...). its thier responsibility to take care of the phone, not verizon to supply them with a new one all the time. if they cant take care of it they dont need it. get them a $20 pre paid until they learn to be responsible

this is often negotiated between verizon and your employer. please contact them and ask them to trya nd get this for you

Hello I wanted to send this in to BB for a idea to keep them on top rather than slowly turning to the stoneage! but however they do not have a idea to make product or service better.

Have a network release chart before actual release their should be announcement that A new phone not the model or anything but a phone will be released this date so people who are coming up on renewing their contract don't get stuck with a outdated phone. ( alot of people fall into this catagory)
3.) add a Idea tab to fourm to help products so customers can help you brainstorm for free! tap into people and what people want get it together and take the top picks so you next phone can be awesome!

this is indeed a good idea. But it depends on the company policy. I hope RIM listens to you!

It would have been wonderful if we (customers) could know about the new device releases. Just think what would happen to a company that is in business! No business organization usually does such thing.

I'm not sure that type of idea lab RIM has or not. But I do know RIM listens to its customers this Support Community Forums and other sources. In today's world all the technology companies invest heavily on R&D for getting quality product and service offerings. Incorporating customer feedback in a vital ingredients to that R&D.

Customer loyalty is non-existent. VZW cares more about new customers than loyal customers. I would like to see a customer retention program since it is actually cheaper to keep a current customer than it is to recruit a new customer. And please do not say the great service is what you get for being a loyal customer. I pay for that great service every month. If you shop at the same store for years then they give you coupons and other special offers. Why doesn't VZW? Customer retention plans are standard for any large business that wants to keep its current customers. I want price matching for other websites. I want to pay the same price for my upgrade as new customers pay. Right now a new customer can get the Galaxy Note 3 for $139 on Amazon. I want VZW to match that price for me since I have been paying for their service for over 8 years. I don't think that is asking to much for any customer that has successfully completed more than 1 2year contract with VZW. Their great service does not in any way make up for this lack of customer retention effort. I pay more per month than any other wireless carrier for that service. Now what is VZW going to so for me so that I want to keep paying them every month for the next 8 years? AT&T is gaining ground fast. I can switch to them and get a new phone cheap/free and still get great service. Why shouldn't I do this if VZW doesn't care to keep my business?

AT&T doesn't price match either. Their upgrade fees are higher and their throttle their existing customers who still have their retired unlimited data plan. It doesn't look like AT&T doesn't have customer retention as a higher priority then Verizon Wireless. -
Where is Verizons customer loyalty?
I've had this account for well over 20 years. Why am I paying the same rates as a new customer? Why do I need to jump through hoops to get new equipment?
With all the companies and plans out here, you should provide more for your customers. Why aren't you?No company HAS to offer any type of loyalty program. Yes some do when you sign up for their bonus cards but those rewards are to keep you shopping there. It's easy to shop around for groceries and clothes and such. VZW doesn't have to give you discount pricing because you've paid for their service for 20 years. In fact, contract cycles are 2 years. You've had 10 chances to change and you didn't. You kept renewing and upgrading and renewing and upgrading. The beauty is you can switch AND take your numbers but I guarantee you that no other carrier gives you loyalty discounts either.

Loyalty Program in Web Channel
Dear Experts,
Currently as what i'm aware of, we basically need to add the Loyalty Program in the Web Channel B2C shop as the administrator to allow this particular Loyalty Program to be available for enrollment by the customer in the webshop. With this, the customer is also able to go to the the link "My Campaigns" to view the list of Loyalty Campaign that she/he has enrolled in. In "My Trasanctions", the customer can view the points that have been acrrued/redeem and points balance.
However, we now have a requirement where we have MORE than one Loyalty Program eg: "Loyalty Program for Retail" and "Loyalty Program for Govement Rebate". Both of these Loyalty Program are different and have different point type and requires different membership enrollment.
Is it possible to include MORE than one Loyalty Program in the Web Channel so that when the customer logins to the Webshop, the customer is able to see both the Loyalty Program eg: "Loyalty Program for Retail" and "Loyalty Program for Govement Rebate" with different points account seperately???

1. Consumers can opt to sign-up in the Loyalty program during consumer registration
2. With in the web shop, the registered consumers can see the available campaigns and also transactions (orders0 they have made with those campaign ids. Loyalty program --> My Transactions and * Loyalty Program --> My campaigns*
3. The consumers can Redeem Points
4. They can also Buy points

when using loyalty program the customer can collect loyalty points.
When it comes to redemption these points can be used to "buy" certain products.
Now I need to know, if these points can also be transformed to a credit note which is included in the next bill (and where to find further information).

There is a report RLOY_MKTPL_RRL_SCHEDULING which can be automatically scheduled in back-ground when you create a scheduled rew ard rule(RR-S). During creation of a RR-S [ex: Type: Standard (Timed) (Expert Mode)]; you could specify the
frequency as monthly to ensure points are credited once in a month.
The report automatically creates mem ber activities and processes them. If the activities have to be processed in batch mode(when the batch report runs as scheduled); set the processing engine parameter OPTION_SCHED_ACT_EXECUTE = X. If activities have to be processed as soon as they are created OPTION_SCHED_ACT_EXECUTE = (blank).

Loyalty Program / VIP Program
Would anyone have experience in using CRM on Demand to manage a loyalty program? We are planning on creating such program in the near future (we call it VIP because people will not be gathering points but rather get discounts).
I'm starting to think about where all this information could be stored in CRM. My preliminary thoughts on which fields would be needed at a minimum are:
- program ID (could CRM generate such an ID?)
- effective date
- end date
We would like to flag opportunities that are created as a result of a customer using a program card.
Metrics I could foresee would be needed are:
- Number of contacts on the program
- Number of opportunities created for customers on the program
- Revenue generated from customers on the program
Would anyone have suggestions on where such data should be stored?
Should I consider other fields/metrics?
Any other insights/things to take into consideration/pitfalls?

I was going to leave Verizon after they did not stand by a HTC phone I purchased from them. I kept telling them it did not work. Repeated trips to the local store and tech support calls, even purchasing an new battery. Still did not work. At the end of the contract, I contacted them to ask how to transfer my number to another carrier. I was told, and then told about a "Loyalty" program they had. Unlimited talk and text, 2 gig data. I asked three different Verizon employees if my employment discount still remained and was told it would. So the $60 dollar fee was reduced by 20 per cent. Good deal I thought. Now three months later, no discount is allowed, if I quit the contact there is a $330 termination fee and I absorb the $200 I paid for the phone. This all started in early July. Feeling very abused as a "Loyalty" customer. Have called customer service and basically been told that I have lied about the employees spiel. I even have their names and times that we spoke. Any ideas?
We want you to have the best plans to meet your needs Bitter19551! Corporate discounts are a great way to save on your monthly costs! You should still be able to qualify if you are still with the same employer. If you had a promotional rate plan discount, it likely ended when the agreement expired.

AP payment custom build program
I have a requirement to create an AP payment file format specific to a Bank (Oracle 11i). The bank accepts payment file in 2 different formats.
Format X: to make payment in its own country (Netherlands). i.e. payment for invoices where supplier bank is in Netherlands.
Format Y: to make payment in all other counties (except Netherlands).
Standard Oracle Payment SELECT/BUILD program selects Invoices for all countries (for the param given: pay batch, currency..)
If I create two payment FORMAT programs; one to pick up the Invoices for payment in Netherlands and another to pickup invoices for payment in all other counties; will it be fine ?
OR
I have to create a custom BUILD program to build a payment batch considering counties of supplier (and payment FORMAT program to create the flat file)

I need to set up an expense form so that our consultant can "filter" by customer type, program type, and finally the purpose of the trip. For instance: the customer types are churches, schools, organizations. The program type would be dependent on the customer type selection from the first list. Some examples would be: fund raising, gift planning, surveys, and others. The purpose of the trip would be dependent on the program type selected from the second list. Some examples of trip purposes would be: presentation, design, prospecting. Further, the purpose of trip selection from the third drop-down box would then have to determine the values of other fields by expense type: such as commission, airfare, hotel. etc. I've tried pop-up menu but can't figure out how to "select" from the final popup list and have it populate a field for the purpose of the trip. I've tried to look at the JavaScript examples for dependent drop-down boxes, but can't find any that quite fit what I'm trying to accomplish. I am very new to all of this. No training in writing Javascripts - just trying to wing it. The form has to be very simple for our consultants to use, but also give our office the detail we need to process through the correct account numbers. I would appreciate any detailed step-by-step instructions - kind of a javascript for dummies type of info. HELP!
An AcroForm is the name given to the type of PDF form that you create in Acrobat. An XFA form is the type of form that you create in LiveCycle Designer. Although they are both PDF files, they are very different structurally and have significant;y different scripting models. So pay attention to the information on AcroForms and ignore anything about XFA. Be sure to get the sample PDF forms so you can look at how it works and where the scripts are placed.
What you want to do will require scripting, and if you don't have the experience and are unable to use the information in the tutorials to create what you want, you might consider getting someone who has experience do this for you. I'll often suggest code if I can do so quickly, but what you want requires more than a few minutes. -

There should be a stack trace in the web or application server's log file that will contain the specific root cause of this. It is often a NullPointerException or ClassNotFoundException or other "common" exception.

Contents of a custom print program for a custom smartform

Can you please tell me if we are writing a custom print program from scratch for a custom smartform for which there is no standard form available what are all the things that need to be coded in the print program..
My doubts on this are if we are configuring this form for output types of PO purchase order for mediums 1,2, 5 and 6 does any extra coding need to be done in the print program that is related to these mediums or is it just a configuration issue..
Apart from data retrieval part and call the function modules to send the data to smartforms what are the other things that we need to code in a custom smartform.. Anything that we need to code related to printing issues..
It would be great if someone can post a custom print program for any output type valid for mediums 1, 2, 5 and 6.
Also my last doubt is do we need to do anything in SE11 in designing a smartform and in what context do we need it...

yes you need to create your own print program. You need to catch printing information and to send data to your smartforms.
To send data to your smartforms you need to use structure describe in the data dictionnary.
