Customer Master Address and Outputs

I have maintained two address es in my customer master, The Street address and a PO box. I want the delivery Note out put to print the street address on it and the Invoice out put to print the PO BOX.
Currently my Delivery Note is showing the PO BOX which is a problem since my client can not ship to a PO BOX, and we do not want to maintain another ship to partner with the same customer number.
Is there a way to fix this or an OSS note on this?

As i understood correctly, The delivery Output now should print the STREET instead of POBOX number , This is a change in the Logic.
Just Pick the customer Number from the Customer of delivery from LIKP-KUNNR and fetch the STREET from KNA1-KUNNR
In the KNA1 table you will get the ADRNR, then goto ADRC to get the STREET details
In the same way fetch the POBOX from Payer of Billing document

You may add more key figures by F6.
Also, you may check report: FBL5N
You may change Layout by Ctrl+F8.

Hi,
If you want to print the customer address in a specific format in the output, this you can achieve using technical coding.
Whatever the customer address you maintaine will store in KNA1 table. And each text whatever you give in the address like city, street, name1, name2, postal code, telephone etc. will be stored in a perticuler fields in this table.
You can tell your technical consultant (ABAPER) , how you want print the customer address in the output. Like you want name2 first instead of name 1 etc. Then using the smartforms, scripts or jetforms , abaper can use the concerned fields and tables to pull that info into the output.

CATT - vendor/customer master address field length over

Dear all,
when use CATT to record vendor/customer master,the address some fields length are over recorded field length(ex. ADDR1_DATA-NAME4,ADDR1_DATA-STR_SUPPL3...etc)
is there any config in CATT to solve this kind of problem?

When you are doing your LSMW batch input recording, on selection screen (where you specify the sales org, distribution channel, division, account group, etc) please put a flag on "Use central address management" checkbox (SAPMF02D 0100 > USE_ZAV).
In this case you should be able to see and fill the desired fields.

Customer master Address field changes

Hi Experts,
SAP standard functionality says that when there are changes in the address details on the customer master, they are automatically updated in the succeeding documents. But, I dont find that happenning. Is there any SIS update or update group that i should use for this to happen? Any ideas..

Hi,
Try this:
Delete Field: Ship-to-Party (most of the time its same as Sold-to-Party in Sales Order).
Re-enter the Ship-to-Party and Save.
This will update the changes.

Customer master - address

hi
when i create customer master, the standard address format is start from street/house no. If i want to input more data, I have to click "display detail" button which next to address field. I dont want to click this button everytimes, any method to display all this address field without click the button. thanks

Instead of clicking on the + sign to expand you have a option on the same screen left top below the Address tab and next to preview tab, ie expand all. click that and start entering the addresses.
And if you are running BDC you can make the option to expand all the field automatically while uploading the Master data.

Customer master creation and maintenance

Hi All,
I have a question regarding customer master. The client is implementing FSCM credit and collections management. Initially, all the existing customers in AR are mapped or loaded to SAP Business partner using the functions available (I dont remenber on top of my head but i know we can do that).
Now my questions are,
1. When creating a new customer later some point, do we have to create in AR and then establish the relationship to SAP Business partner. Or directly create as SAP Business partner.
2. If to be cretaed both in AR and as Business partner, this would be kind of duplication or maintaing in 2 seperate places. Please explain the reason behind it.
3. If only to be created as Business partner, will all the fields available in Customer master (like business area, accounting clerk, Industry field) be available in Business partner
one more question, We can automatically import credit data from External Credit Information service. Can we push the data from our system to the Provider like the payment data or anything for that matter. Client has a requirement for this to send data to provider and I am not sure. Please confirm.
I know there are too many question, but please help me undertsand this more better.

I am sorry about that but first 3 questions are related and linked.
I understand that a link is established between AR customer data and BP's and this will migrate all data. But the data will be in AR and will be copied to BP..right.
Likewise, if you create a customer in AR, it will create a BP...will this be done automatically?
And later if we want to create a new customer, do we need to do in AR and this will automaticall create a BP? Is this not duplication. I know that BP are maintained centarlly and for master data synchronization.

Having issues with custom master pages and device channels

I'm working in Sharepoint 2013 and am attempting to create a custom master page that is to be used by mobile devices. I have created an html file and a custom css file that includes snippets from the design manager. The file appears to preview fine in a
browser from Microsoft Web Expression. I have loaded the html file into sharepoint via design manager, so the master file is there as well. The css files are in the style library for the site collection and I have created a device channel including user agent
strings for iphones going back to the iPhone 4 and operating systems going back to iOS 6. I have obviously assigned my custom "mobile" master for that device channel and I have turned off mobile browsing. However when I open the site on my phone
it shows the normal full desktop view and not my custom master. I will include my html code, my css and a screenshot of my device channel below. Please help!

Hi,
The issue is likely not your HTML Master Page but your user agent string. Try a user agent string of just "iphone". To test your master page, you could also set the user agent to "MSIE", which should cause this master page to load for
any version of IE. This will help you debug the master page as well in your normal browser.

Regarding ALE-iDoc for Customer Master, J1ID and FD32

Hello all
Scenario:
As per client's requirement we have to develop idoc so that followings requirements will meet:
Say there are two servers a) MDM Server b) PRD Server
1] As and when I'll create customer master data in MDM server then customer master should get created with that data in PRD server
which I can achieve through BD12 by doing some idoc enhancements
2] Simillarly when i'll create data using transaction J1ID and FD32 in MDM Server (Data relevant to customer master) then that data also should get created in PRD server using Idoc
May I know which
1)message type we can use (as we use DEBMAS in case of Customer Master) for J1ID and FD32
2) Any transaction to send data from one server to another server for transaction J1ID and FD32 (as we use BD12 in case of Customer master for sending data created using transaction XD01)

Hello Mahesh,
In the case of customer master it would be better if you would use standard message types and t code to transfer ddata.
But in the case J1ID and FD32 you can build a standalone idoc
Follow these steps to build custom message types and futher transactions
WE81 - Create message type
WE31 - Create segment
WE30 - Create Idoc type
SALE - Define Logical system (not required if already exists)
SM59 - Define RFC (not required if already exists)
WE21 - Define ports (both in sender and receiver)
WE20 - Define Partner profile (both in sender and receiver)
BD46 - Distribue the model view.
SE38 - Create a program to send the idoc in the sender sytem.
SE37 - Build inbound function module to receive the idoc for receiver system
WE57 - Assign FM to message type
BD51 - to change the characteristics for inbound FM
WE42 - Create Inbound process code.

Customer Master Record and Sales Area

A Customer Master Record may exist for many sales areas. Does this mean many sales area within one Sales Organizational right??

Customer Master Data and Line Items Balances Display - Authorization Group

One autorization group was created and assigned to some customer masters in General, Company Code and Sales Area's.
User is restricted to one authorization group. When executing FBL5N, all customer balances are displayed i.e. including blank authorization group customer. It is not restricted to authorization group customer! Why?

Kindly check the authorization objects assigned in the user profile. You may ask your basis to help you with the authorization.

Customer Master Report needed for jurisdiction, tax code, and district

I am trying to pull a customer master report and need to include the following fields:
Name (NAME1)
Account (KUNNR)
Jurisdiction ( TAXJURCODE)
Tax Code (TAXKD)
District, which is County for US addresses (CITY2)
I haven't seen a report with CITY2 and have tried S_ALR_87012180 or opening KNA1, KNVI, etc.
Any ideas?

No there is not such report or transaction.
You may look at tables KNA1 + ADRC.
In table KNA1 there are fields ORT01, ORT02, COUNC and CITYC that could help
Otherwise you must link KNA1 and ADRC with field KNA1-ADRNR = ADRC-ADDRNUMBER

Output proposal from customer master in 4.7

I'm trying to find configuration nodes in spro for <b>output proposal from customer master</b> in SAP R/3 4.7. Strangely it is not where it is supposed to be i.e.
SD>Basic Functions>Output Control
I tried by searching but unable to find it. However I found out that you can assign output determination procedure in define account groups.
Please help me in finding the correct node or the t-codes for maintaining output procedure for output from customer master. Kindly note that I am looking in <b>SAP R/3 4.7</b> version.

In this option one creates output types, such as BA00 (order confirmation). After creating the output type, one assigns the output type to an output procedure, such as DB0001. After the assignment of the output types to the procedure, the output procedure is then assigned to the customer account group. This is a simple procedure and results in the output that is placed on the customer master record being copied into the sales document.

I am writing a Z program . First calling function module EDI_DATA_INComing and then corresponding BAPI.
I am usng BAPI_MASTER_SAVEDATA for material master
