• Custome Partner Function from SD to CO-PA

Hi,
I have created 3 custom partner functions and have assinged in customer master. I need these 3 custom partner function to be transfered to CO-PA during billing. Is there a easy way around to achieve this, coz there are some SAP notes which are sort of confusing and complex, since we are already live in production, we cant take a chance on the SAP Note.
If somebody experienced like this, could you please share the knowledge, how to achieve this.
Thanks.
With Regards
gj

Hi Gj,
There are no simple way around to get the customer partner function in to CO-PA during billing. You must follow the notes to get the correct value transfered to CO-PA. I will outline the steps below so that you do not miss anything.
I am going to try to summarize the basic steps to add one or
more new partner function(s). For more detailed information
please see the notes 36557, 32878, 12682 and 93658 although some o
these notes are known for you.
Add new domain/data element for the new partner function in the
ABAP/4 Data Dictionary.
Examples are the data elements KUNAG, KUNWE, KUNRE, KUNRG,
SPDNR, and VRTNR in structure MCPARTNER. This is where the
partner functions for the Standard Sales Information System are
defined.
Save the new partner field in structure MCPARTUSR (user part of
structure MCPARTNER) or, if available extend structure
MCPARTUSR by an append structure (ZAMCPARTUS).
Make sure that the check tables and foreign key relationships are
maintained for the new fields in structure MCPARTUSR
Define the assignment of partner function < > new partner
field in the communication structure.
Program RMCSUZ10, routine USR_PARTNER_GET.
Add the line as in the example of note 12682 given.
Include the corresponding field via transaction 'KEA0' from the
structure PAPARTNER into the Profitability Analysis data structures
If your new partnerrole is a representative/sales employee please
apply note 32878.
Should you have implemented note 43002 (to prevent a field overflow
in pricing) please follow note 93658 and use userexit
userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomp instead of
userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomk.
userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomp is contained in Include MV45AFZZ
(sales order) and RV60AFZZ (billing)
Add the new field to the structure 'KOMPAZ' as in note 93658
described and NOT to the structure 'KOMKAZ' (note 36557)
(you have used both structures)
Generate the operating concern and check if the following entries
are included in TKEZU:
Charact. BTran Table Field name Offset Length
XXXXX KEDR KOMP YYYYY
XXXXX KEDR KOMP YYYYY
XXXXX KEDR KOMP YYYYY
XXXXX = Field name of the partner function in the profitability
analysis
YYYYY = Field name of the partner function in structure KOMP
(these entries should be made automatically here).
If you need more than one partner function please repeat the
steps as described above for your need.
Regards,
Abhisek

• How to create IDOC for customer defined table

hi,
How to create IDOC for customer defined table Records and how to send this IDOC to target system.
what message type will be used and on receiving system how to post these records.
thankx.
pillac.

Hi,
You need to create a custom message type and custom IDOC type for this with whatever fields you want send. You need to create segments (WE30), IDOC type (WE30), Message types (WE81) and assign the message type to the IDOC type (WE82).
You will have trigger the IDOC using a Report or something after doing the partner profile settings.
Similary in the target system also, you will have do all the settings.
Take a look the links to find out what settings needs to be done.

• Partner tables

Hi All,
iam confused about KNA1 table. It stores general data for customers. Does it mean we have a different records in KNA1 for partner function payer, sold to,ship to etc.
Can someone explain in detail about partner function tables.. VBPA is sales order partner function table. which is delivery partner and billing partner table.
regards
sachin

Hi,
thanks a lot for the reply.
Could you aslo pls tell me the link between account group and partner function...sometimes i reaaly get confused since i have not worked a lot on these.
for eg.
in XD01, i select account group "sold to party" and fill in all the address fields etc and all the shipping and sales tabes and save it. the system gives a customer no . no if i go in change mode of this customer master and see the partner tab, all partnerr functions like sold to , bill to, ship to etc will be there with same customer number !!!. this customer master will have only one adrdress i entered in general tab..... and when i see in kna1, i can see the address for this customer.
now after doing the above
if i now create another customer with account group, "ship to" and fill in all information like general , shipping info, sales info etc and save it, the customer no will be generated. if i see this customer in changes mode, in the partner tab, i can again see all the partner functions with same cusomer no,
now if i attach this ship to party to sold to party in first step and see in kna1, whihc address is visible to me, the sold to or ship to.

• How can I sort the partner table (ICCMP_BTPARTNER/PartnerTable)?

Hi all,
we run a crm 5.0 system and are currently in a change of release to version 7.0. In 5.0 the sort order of the partner table within a serviceticket can be controlled by customizing (Customer Relationship Management -> Basic Functions -> Partner Processing -> Define Partner Determination Procedure -> User Interface Settings).
In 7.0 these settings seem to be ignored. The sortation is by the technical id of the partner function. Is there any new customizing for that? Or is there no sortation supported?
Same issue is within the dropdownlistbox of the partner functions in ICCMP_BTPARTNER/AddView. I want to sort the dropdownlistbox as well.
Thanks for your help.

• How to flow SD customized partner in COPA PAPartner Structure

Dear Experts,
We have created two customized partner in SD
1) Agent
2) credit manager
and same is not available in PAPARTNER structure in COPA.
Need to create characterstics from PAPARTNER structure but same are not available in PAPARTNER under kea5.
SAP has recommended some OSS note but they are complex.
request you to guide me on the same.Need to flow from SD to COPA.
regards
RK

Hi
One option is to use PAPARTNER.. But its better to avoid that
I prefer to use a derivation rule always
Create 2 derivation rules using table Lookup from VBPA for the same partner function
1. In one Der Rule, make the sale order item KDPOS as constant value 0000
2. In the other one, dont make it a constant....Leave it as it is
Two rules are required because,
a. the partner function is updated in VBPA table without line item if the same is derived from customer master and not changed in sale order.. In this case line item is 0000 in VBPA table...
b. It updates the table VBPA with line item incase it is changed or entered during Sale order creation...
So, your derivation rule will look like this
Source
VBPA- Sales Order Mapped to COPA-Sales Order
VBPA-Sales Order Item Mapped to COPA - Sales Order Item (Constant 0000 in Der Rule 1)
VBPA-PARVW MApped to COPA-UserTemp1 (Constant XX Partner Function)
Target
VBPA-KUNNR Mapped to COPA-WWXXX Char
In the 2nd derivation rule, every thing will be same except that you wont specify any Constant for Sales Order Item

• How to use customer extension table for schedule line for shopping cart ?

Dear Experts,
One of our client wants to have schedule lines in shopping cart item. I am thinking of using customer extension table at item level for shopping cart. Could you please help me on how I should proceed with the appending the structures so that the end user can fill the shopping cart schedule line details?
Which fields should I consider in such cases?
Thanks and regards,

I guess you use SRM 7.0. Please go to IMG.
SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) -> Create Table Extensions and Supply with Data

• Report Custom Vertical Table Question

Hello Guys,
I am trying to display some data in a custom vertical table (for a report). The data that I have looks like this :
Customer number Name Product Age
123 John Customer Checking 50
456 Jane Customer Savings 40
When I display it using a vertical table (or attribute value pairs) the data looks like:
Customer number: 123
Name : John Customer
Product: Bank Account
Age: 50
Customer number: 456
Name : Jane Customer
Product: Bank Account
Acct No: 40
But I want to display the data like this:
Customer number: 123 456
Name : John Customer Jane Customer
Product: Bank Account Bank Account
Age: 50 50
The option here is to change the data to dynamic columns rather than dynamic rows. I tried manipulating the templates but it would not do it. Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi Badri,
OK - this is what I did (there's no documentation as such, so I'll just give you the step-by-step guide here!):
1 - In your application, go to Shared Components then Templates
2 - Click the Create button
3 - Click the "Report" option
4 - Select "From Scratch" and click Next
5 - Enter a name for the new template (for example, "Vertical Report"), leave the Theme as your current theme, set Template Class to "Custom 1", tick the "Named Column (row template)" option and click Create
This creates a new blank report template - scroll down the list of templates to this new one and click on the name to edit it.
In there, you need to enter the following:
Row Template 1 setting:

#1#

#2#

#3#

#4#

NOTE: In my example report, I show four columns (EMPNO, ENAME, SAL, COMM) - these are refered to as #1#, #2#, #3# and #4# above (#1# means column number 1, #2# is column 2 and so on - but use the column numbers not the names in your template). If you have a different number of columns add in or remove lines of:

#nn#

(replacing nn with the column number)
Leave all other settings in the Row Templates section blank
Before Rows setting:

EMPNO

ENAME

SAL

COMM

NOTE: You will need one TR tag for each of the column headings - I have four here (EMPNO, ENAME, SAL and COMM) - add or remove lines of

COLUMNNAME

After Rows setting:

#PAGINATION#

Leave all settings in the Pagination section blank
NOTE: Any "class" name used above assumes that you are using Theme 18 (t18Standard is the standard report style class, for example) - you will have to update these to match your own theme
Click Apply Changes to save this
Now go back to your page and click on the "Report" link for your report region - this takes you to Report Attributes. Scroll down to the "Report Template" setting and change this to your new template. Click Apply Changes to save that.
When the page is rendered, a new table will be created for the report, the headings will be created within another table in the first TD on that table. All data lines are created as separate tables within new TD tags - this makes the output go across the page instead of down.

• How to add the entries and how to delete the entries from custom Z-table?

Here how to add the entries from program to Z-table.???

Could you please guide me the logic how to crack this???
Let me know if you need more Info
Thanks
Sanju

Hi Sanjana,
What you can do is to use the ABAP keyword INSERT or MODIFY to add or modify records to a given database table. Here are the syntax taken from SAP documentation:
*Insert Statement
INSERT dbtab
Syntax
INSERT { {INTO target VALUES source }
| { target FROM source } }.
Effect
The INSERT statement inserts one or more rows specified in source in the database table specified in target. The two variants with INTO and VALUES or without INTO with FROM behave identically, with the exception that you cannot specify any internal tables in source after VALUES.
System Fields
The INSERT statement sets the values of the system fields sy-subrc and sy-dbcnt.
sy-subrc Meaning
0 At least one row was inserted.
4 At least one row could not be inserted, because the database table already contains a row with the same primary key or a unique secondary index.
The INSERT statement sets sy-dbcnt to the number of rows inserted.
Note
The inserted rows are finally included in the table in the next database commit. Up until this point, they can still be removed by a database rollback.
*Modify Statement
MODIFY dbtab
Syntax
MODIFY target FROM source.
Effect
The MODIFY statement inserts one or several lines specified in source in the database table specified in target, or overwrites existing lines.
System fields
The MODIFY statement sets the values of the sy-subrc and sy-dbcnt system fields.
sy-subrc Meaning
0 At least one line is inserted or changed.
4 At least one line could not be processed since there is already a line with the same unique name secondary index in the database table.
The MODIFY statement sets sy-dbcnt to the number of processed lines.
Note
The changes are transferred finally to the database table with the next database commit. Up to that point, they can be reversed using a database rollback.
Hope it helps...
P.S. Please award points if it helps...

I cannot begin to express my level of frustration. I have been trying to use the composition widget light box display for some time now. I drag the widget to my document. The default widget has three small trigger boxes and a large area made up of a forward and backward button, a background, a text box and a frame for your image.
My steps have been …
I click on the little trigger box.
I click on the frame that holds the main image.
I go to the fill menu and browse my computer for my image and then click OK.
IT shows up on my screen. Yay
I attempt to continue using the next two trigger boxes provided in the widget.
After that, I add more by clicking on the little plus sign.
This is where all heck breaks loose.
Every single time I attempt to add thumbnails, something messes up. When I go to preview, either not all of my main images show up, or it starts with the wrong one, or some are missing. I have looked and looked for help on this and the only thing I can find is how easy it is to create a great portfolio lightbox display. But as we know, that only works when your thumbnails are the same image as the images in your lightbox. If you want something different, you have to use the composition wizard. I am finding it extremely difficult and confusing to customize.
Is there an exact sequence you need to use to add images to the slideshow? I am my wits end.

• Problem in creating a Generic Extractor on a custom 'Z' table

This is regarding an earlier question I posted in sdn today. I am trying to create a generic extractor on a custom 'Z' table and iam getting the following message.
Invalid extract structure template YBW_Z3PVR of DataSource YCNA_3PVAR_RPT
Message no. R8359
Diagnosis
You tried to generate an extract structure with the template structure Z3PVR. This operation failed, because the template structure quantity fields or currency fields, for example, field MENGE refer to a different table.
Procedure
Use the template structure to create a view or DDIC structure that does not contain the inadmissable fields.
Please advise. how do i solve this?

Hi there,
Is your Z* table working? It must be add check field for quantity field and currency field.
Hope this helps.

• Custom PL/SQL API that inserts the data into a custom interface table.

We are developing a custom Web ADI integrator for importing suppliers into Oracle.
The Web ADI interface is a custom PL/SQL API that inserts the data into a custom interface table. We have defined the content, uploader and an importer. The importer is again a custom PL/SQL API that will process the records inserted into the custom table and updates the STATUS column of the custom interface table. We want to show the status column back on the spreadsheet.
Defined the 'Document Row' import rule and added the rows that would identify the unique record.
Errored row import rule, we are using a SELECT * from custom_table where status<>'Success' and vendor_name=$param$.vendor_name
The source of this parameter is import.vendor_name
We have also defined an Error lookup.
After the above setup is completed, we invoke the create document and click on Oracle->Upload.
The records are getting imported, but the importer program is failing with An error has occurred while running an API import. The ERRORED_ROWS step 20003:ER_500141, parameter number 1 must contain the value BIND in attribute 1.'

The same issue.
Need help.
Also checked bne.log, no additional information.

• Custom Data Table in Work Manager 6.1 / SMP 3.0

Hi folks,
was trying to create a custom Data Table in Work Manager. Unfortunately I was not successful to get it working - probably I am missing out something.
Have created the DataTable in the Agentry Editor and configured the Java Class to use the DataTable class like for the other DataTables. Then created the 4 config values in the parameters of the Mobile Application Configuration (DT_MDOID, TABLE_CHECK, TABLE_REFRESH, ENABLE_TABLE). Also created a MDO that is mapped to the DT_MDOID which is derived from the /SYCLO/CL_CORE_DT_HANDLER class.
During sync, I am getting the following errors in the server logs - in the client it is Error 13 => Java...
08/13/2014 18:18:36, 1,         0,         2, Thr      10364, class RCP<class DT::DataTable>, D:\Syclo_BuildBot\rc_7.0server\Syclo\refcount.h#220:RCP<class DT::DataTable>::operator ->
2014/08/13 18:18:36.505: + BackEnd=Java-SAPJavaConnection
2014/08/13 18:18:36.505: Using Java code for <DATA_TABLE_NAME>
2014/08/13 18:18:36.506: Java Exception "<DATA_TABLE_NAME>" Update Data Table: - java.util.NoSuchElementException
Do you have some pointers on what I may miss out?
Cheers,
Florian

Make sure that 'DT_MDOID" parameter entries are maintained correctly "That there is no typo's" in config panel. I don't think you need any entries for TABLE_CHECK, TABLE_REFRESH, ENABLE_TABLE parameters which are only relevant for complex table. Same in Agentry the data table should match with SAP name.
Let me know if you still have issues.
Thanks
Manju
