Customer wants to record and input prompts into UCCX 8.0 based on various conditions

hello guys I have a question that requires an answer as wel as an example if possible. I have a customer that wants to be able to do an self initiated prompt change in the script. Such as something like "we are closed today due to weather conditions, please call back or leave a voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as weather permits"  Is there way fact to perform this in a script? (Have them record a prompt based on a number they could call, and then store it somewhere and have the script play it?) I hope i am putting this question in a way that can be understood. I am relativley new to this type of function any assist would be greatly appreciated.

This is relatively easy and requires only a few steps to implement something basic.  See if this gets you going in the right direction:
Prompt Manager Script
startacceptrepo_user = authenticate user /* you will hard code the username/password here */  successful    recording = record prompt()      successful        upload prompt(recording, repo_user, filename, overwrite = true)          successful            play prompt(prompt uploaded successfully)            terminate            end
Customer Service Script
startacceptstart_time = t[now]play prompt(filename)if (t[now].getTime() - start_time.getTime() > 3000) /* if the message is greater than 3 seconds, it probably exists */  true    goto emergency_routing  false    goto normal_routinglabel emergency_routingterminateendlabel normal_routing...end
To turn on the emergency, you call into the Prompt Manager, created your recording, and press # when finished.  The Customer Service script will attempt to play what's in the recording, and if the recording duration is greater than 3 seconds, it assumes a recording was played out to the caller and initiates the emergency routing logic.
To turn off the emergency, you call into the Prompt Manager, press mute on the phone, and press # within 3 seconds.  The Customer Service script will attempt to play what's in the recording, and if the recording duration is less than 3 seconds, it assumes no recording was played out to the caller and initiates the normal routing logic.
You can take this small example and add so many more features, such as:
Authentication
Authorization
Multiple Recordings
Review, Re-record, Delete, for the prompt
A message that informs you if the current status is on or off
Multi script support (not just Customer Service, but Help Desk, and Sales too)
Etc.

    I ordered a ringtone that came as a song and did not appear in a position status to be added.  It did not show up but came purchased as a song and now asking me to add it to a playlist.  This is not what I wanted to do and I promptly follow the prompt to "Buy more options" to get what I thought was a ringtone.  Please help!

    The ONLY place to buy a ready made ringtones is from the iphone itself from the itunes app, then "More">"Ringtones"
    If you bought from your computer, then you need to create the ringtone.  You can create a ringtones from just about any song/sound file for free.
    Google will find several ways to do this.

  • Is there any difference in the prompts of UCCX 7 (Windows based) and UCCX 9 (Linux based) ?

    Are the prompts for UCCX 7 (windows based) and UCCX 9 (Linux Based) are different ?
    There are no default prompts available in the script editor folder of UCCX 9.
    I have downloaded some prompts from the internet with .wav format, but those prompts are not working.
    Can someone tell me if the prompts are different and if they are really different, where to get those prompts then ?
    I have also attached the prompts i have downloaded from the internet.

    Nope, there's no difference.  UCCX uses either G711 or G729 encoded files.  You have to encode them first before you upload them.  UCCX will not encode them like CUCM does for MOH files.  In fact, you can use CUCM's MOH file encoding to encode your files for use within UCCX.
    Also, you will not see the system prompts on your workstation where you installed the script editor.
    What is it that you are trying to do?

  • Never Share and inputting data into a Planning Web form.

    Currently I have several accounts where there is one child per parent. The child member is set as "Never Share" and the parent member is set as "Dynamic Calc". When I show both the parent member and child member in a web form any data inputted into the child account is lost once the data is saved? How do I setup the web form so that I can save data to these child account members?
    Thank you

    Hi,
    Little disturbing but what you are facing is called implied sharing. See below post.
    Re: Saving data on form will not save
    In short, you have two options:
    1. Remove the parent from the form
    2. Add a dummy sibling to the same member but do not show it at the form, you can have parent and child at the same time in the form in this case.
    Cheers,
    Alp

  • Recording and Monitoring issue in UCCX

    Hi,
    I am unable to configure Monitoring/Recording as CDA gives an error "CDAUI1000 Error while trying to load the data.Ensure that the system path includes the location of the WebAdminLib.dll".I checked the dcoumentation and it says give the path in "environment variable" but I don't know how to do that.
    Also besides this I am using 7942 IP phones which are connected to the same port as desktop but both of them are in different VLANs.Please let what additional configuration I will have to do to achieve desktop monitoring.
    Regards
    Amit Prasad

    Be sure to folow the steps below, and verify that the environment variable is moved to the begining of the string. These directions are from the CAD Error Code guide which are attached to the post.
    Ensure that the system path includes the location of the WebAdminLib.dll. Type: Fatal Add’l Info: Error indicating that the location of the WebAdminLib.dll is not added to the System path. Action: On the Unified CCX server, add the location of the WebAdminLib.dll (C:\Program Files\Cisco\ Desktop\bin) to the Path environment variable.
    1. In Control panel, launch the System utility.
    2. On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
    3. From the list of system variables, select Path and click Edit.
    4. In the Variable value field, locate the string C:\Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\bin; and, using cut/paste, move it to the beginning of the variable value string. This results in the DLL being accessed from the correct location.
    5. Click OK and close the System utility.
    6. Stop the Cisco Unified Node Manager.
    7. On the Unified CCX server, delete the teamadmin folder from these locations: C:\Program Files\wfavvid\ tomcat_appadmin\webapps C:\Program Files\wfavvid\ tomcat_appadmin\work\catalina\localhost
    8. Restart the Unified Node Manager, and wait two minutes.
    9. Access Cisco Desktop Administrator and verify that you can navigate to the Services Configuration > Enterprise Data > Fields page.

  • Insert into a final table based on a condition

    Hi,
    create table table1(invoice_number varchar2(4), covg_date date, employee_number varchar2(5),
    service_option varchar2(2), FEES VARCHAR2(5), AMOUNT NUMBER(9,2));
    insert into table1 values('1','01-JUL-2011','11','8','F1,F2',100);
    insert into table1 values('2','01-JUL-2011','12','2','F1,F2',110);
    insert into table1 values('3','01-JUL-2011','13','9','F1,F2',120);
    insert into table1 values('4','01-JUL-2011','14','3','F1,F2',130);
    commit;
    create table table2(invoice_number varchar2(4), covg_date date, employee_number varchar2(5),
    service_option varchar2(2),FEES VARCHAR2(5), AMOUNT NUMBER(9,2));
    insert into table2 values('1','01-JUL-2011','11','88','F1,F2',100);
    insert into table2 values('2','01-JUL-2011','12','2','F1,F2',110);
    insert into table2 values('3','01-JUL-2011','13','9','F1,F2',122);
    insert into table2 values('4','01-JUL-2011','14','3','F1',130);
    insert into table2 values('4','01-JUL-2011','15','3','F1',130);
    commit;
    create table final_table(insert_type varchar2(1),invoice_number varchar2(4), covg_date date, employee_number varchar2(5),
    service_option varchar2(2),FEES VARCHAR2(5), AMOUNT NUMBER(9,2));we need to insert into final_table based on the differences between table1 and table2. The condition for that is:
    Eg: For a given employee number(11) for a given covg_date(July-2011), if there is at least one difference in any column value which in this case is the service_option (8,88)..
    i need to insert table1 record into final_table with insert_type as 'OLD'
    and insert table2 record into final_table with insert_type as 'NEW'
    Similarly employee number 14, there is a difference between fees column and i should insert them like the above example
    Similarly employee number 13, there is a difference between AMOUNT column and i should insert them like the above example.
    For example employee number 15, there is no record in table1 but exists in table2 and that will be inserted as it is..
    What my idea was to loop through distinct employee_number, covg_date in table1 and check each value in table2 for the same condition and insert into final_table..
    But if there is a better option like inserting directly using select clause or some sort of direct insert without loop...
    Thanks for the help in advance

    Possibly a modified version of something like this:
    INSERT INTO final_table
    ( insert_type
    , invoice_number
    , covg_date
    , employee_number
    , service_option
    , fees

  • How to make a table column block editable for a row and remain non editable for other row based on some condition

    hi ,
    i need help on the below scenario ,
    we have a web dynpro table with different columns, now based on new business requirement  one of the column need to
    dynamically editable or non editable for different row.
    for ex :
    Field 1
    Field 2 ( Dynamic field )
    Field 3
    Field 4
    Data 11
    Data 12 ( Editable with Drop down   )
    data 13
    data 14
    Data 21
    Data 22 ( Non editable )
    Data 23
    data 24
    Data 31
    data  32 ( Editable with drop down )
    data 33
    data 34
    how to achieve this ? please help on this.
    Thanks in advance
    Thanks
    Manish

    Manish,
    there is no proper way to insert two Cell Editors in a column(except variants), have a look on below scenario, it may help.
    add one more attribute to your table context node for read-only.
    create dropDown as celleditor for table and bind with newly created attribute to read-only property of dropdown.
    before binding data to table, check the condition then mention readonly value abap_true / false.
    @ we can achieve by the use of Variants.
    for ex :
    Data 11
    Data 12 ( Editable with Drop down)
    data 13
    read-only - abap_false
    Data 21
    Data 22 ( Non editable, dropdown )
    Data 23
    read-only - abap_true
    Data 31
    data  32 ( Editable with drop down )
    data 33
    read-only - abap_false

  • Problem with customer exit variable that is input ready as well

    Hello all,
    I'm facing an issue with a customer exit variable that again has been defined as input ready. I'm not sure why it is working incorrectly and I#m wondering if this is a bug or if I do s.th. stupid.
    The problem is that in the exit program ZXRSRU01 this varibale does not go into the program code I have prepared for this variable. I have added entry points for all three i_step values 1,2,3, but the code will never be touched and in debugging I can see that it simply pypasses the code for this variable.
    I have tried to enter a value or to leave it blank, no difference.
    When I run another test by just using a customer exit variable w/o input ready capability, then I have no issue, the exit does exactly what I have coded.
    Does this mean, that a customer exit variable along with input readiness dows not work ?????
    You may ask why I need this variable. Well, my intention is to use the input value of this variable A to derive other values for a complete different variable B. Afterwards I want to erase the input given into variable A to have it blank.
    Any comments are appreciated
    Thanks

    Hi Heiko,
    I assume A & B variables are defined on different Characteristics. If you wish to derive B based on A, you can create the Query Characteristic Restriction on B & have a dummy RKF restricted on A whose processing is by Manual Input; where processing of B is by Customer Exit. In istep 2 you can check for B, read A & derive B. There would not be a need to blank out A since the Query would not be restricted on A - you can hide the dummy RKF from showing in the output. Just a thought.

  • How to input data into an arraylist from a text file?

    I am trying to take data from a text file and put that data into an arraylist. First here is the text file:
    [item1, 10, 125.0, item2, 10, 12.0, item3, 20, 158.0]
    3
    4530.0
    [item5, 65, 555.5, item4, 29, 689.0]
    2
    56088.5
    [item7, 84, 34.5, item6, 103, 0.5, item8, 85, 1.36]
    3
    3065.1The text between the [ ] is the output from my arraylists. I have three arraylists. The first [ ] belongs to arraylist A, the second to arraylist B, and the third to arraylist C. The format of the arraylists is this:
    <item name>,<# in stock>,<value of one item>
    The first number below the arraylists in the text file represents the number of items in the list. The second number below the arraylists represents the total value of the items in the arraylists.

  • Recording a DVD with LG DVD Recorder and FIOS Standard Set Top Box

    I have FIOS Standard Set Top Box, a Sony TV, and an LG DVD Recorder. I cannot figure out how to record a TV program on my LG DVD Recorder. I have 3 remotes: a FIOS Remote, an LG DVD Recorder Remote and a Sony TV Remote. What remote/s should I use, and in what order?  Thanks.

    1) Connect coax (cable) wire from the wall to the RF input on the back of the STB.
    2) Connect coax (cable) from the cable out (might say "to TV/VCR") on the back to the STB to the cable in on the back of the TV.
    3) Connect composite (red, yellow, white) wires from the back of the STB to the input of the DVD player.
    4) Connect composite (red, yellow, white) wires from the back of the DVD player to the back of the TV.
    Let me know if any of those aren't possible based on your equipment. The SD STB (QIP 2500) has very few outputs so there are not a lot of options for a setup like this).
    In order to record a program, you will have to do the following:
    -Set the STB to whatever channel you want to record and keep it on. You will not be able to change the channel, because the DVD player will be recording whatever the STB outputs (the same feed the TV gets). With FiOS, it is not possible to have a DVD do the tuning for you, because it is an all-digital signal and most DVD players can only tune to analog chs 1-99.
    -Set the DVD player channel to "input" or something of the like. This will get your DVD player to show the signal from the STB.
    -Set your TV channel to composite input. This will show you whatever the DVD player is getting from the STB.
    -If you want to watch normal TV without the DVD player, you can turn your TV to Ch. 3 or 4 and get the feed from the STB without having to turn on your DVD player.

  • Track changes in customer material info (VD52) and create custom IDocs

    Dear experts,
    we want to track changes, which are made in VD52 (Customer matertial info record) and create custom IDocs (Z-format) based on these changes. What is the best way to do this?
    Best regards,
    David

    Hi,
    There are a dedicated BTEs (Business Tranaction Event) for this purpose (transaction FIBF).
    - created customer material infos OUTBOUND_CALL_00504001_E
    - changed customer material infos OUTBOUND_CALL_00504002_E
    - deleted customer material infos OUTBOUND_CALL_00504003_E
    You can assign your own FM to the BTE and send custom IDoc whenever there is a new/updated/deletd customer-material info record.
    Regards,
    Marcin

  • Cannot input data into Text Field on from Adobe Acrobat  Reader

    I created a form in Acrobat 5 that has check boxes and text fields. Using reader I can open the doc and use check boxes and input text into fields. Once this doc is loaded to our web server and a user opens or downloads the file they can check the boxes but cannot enter any text into the text fields. Am I missing something?
    Thanks in advance

    And so.. what is invalid?
    I've uploaded the pdf files as example:
    My generated pdf
    http://compuhelp.free.fr/adobe/before.pdf
    The modified version by Adobe Acrobat Reader:
    http://compuhelp.free.fr/adobe/after.pdf
    (I can generate a more complexe pdf file with fonts, images,... it will be displayed correctly, but Adobe always want to modifiy it).
    So perhaps I missed somthing into the pdf file format specification ?

  • Record and iChat

    I am going to be starting a podcast and would like to use iChat and Garageband.
    Can someone tell me how to do this. i see that one of the options for tracks is iChat voice. If i turn this on will it automatically record the person i am chatting with.
    I am really new to this and cannot find the answers.

    Well I guess vague is very much the wrong word. i am at work right now and am going to be recording tonight. The help file basically says Open iChat Press record and that is it. I am used to a PC and don't believe anything can be that easy.
    Aminly i want to make sure that if i am using a headset then the audio that i am hearing through the headphones is also being recorded (and more specifically into a separate track then my voice is).

  • How to include Sales Office and Sales Group into FI report?

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to add Customer characteristics u201CSales Groupu201D and u201CSales Officeu201D into a FI report which is based on the InfoCube 0COOM_C02. The values that needs to be presented is actual data (Customer Master Data; NOT transactional value.
    In the DataSource u201C0COORDER_ATTRu201D, fields Sales Organization and Sales Group are present and it is brought to BW from R3. But I am not able to find the way to get the field Sales Office into SAP BW.
    I checked the extraction program for the DataSource u201C0COORDER_ATTRu201D, the fields Sales Org and Sales Group are coming from a table u201CCE41000u201D but in this particular table there is no Sales Office present.
    So can anyone guide me out in getting the Sales Office to the DataSource u201C0COORDER_ATTRu201D, or is there any way of getting it in BW directly by reading some Master Data table.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Sangeeta,
    As per your statement, my understanding is that the Organization Attributes are not maintained in the Customization. If all the values are properly maintained then based on the Organization Data determination, the system would have picked up the data. You can first check the Organization Structure and see all the attributes are properly maintained or not and then check whether the Object Permitted in determination checkbox is checked. Then create a Transaction and see that all the Organization data are getting filled properly.
    Have a look at the following link for a complete guide to the Organization data determination customization.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/en/6d/5c1738453fde16e10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm
    If the Organization data customization is not meeting your requirements then you can have a second look at the development approach. Then we can have a look at the available Objects to get the desired functionality.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Samantak.
