Customizable appearance for muse forms

can you add the ability to customize the look and feel of muse forms as right now they can only be transparent so site on top of whatever background colour you have whereas it would be nice to see text colour background colouron the form and text and background colours on the fields and submit buttons.

If you want to create and style forms with Muse and then upload your site to a different web hosting service, the forms will display as you designed them, but they will not function. If you have experience working with code, you can use Muse to export your site and then open the files in an HTML editor. Update the source code of the form to make it compatible with the form processing technology used by your hosting provider before you upload the files to their server.

Issue with Customize program for Dunning Forms

I have write a perform for dunning form in a outside report apart from standard print program. After doing some calculations I want print some information in the form using the function module "Write_Form", but I am not able write on the form.

Thanks for your help, I am using Write_Form only, but not able to write the statements in the Form.
Let me explain my code here.
1. I wrote the perform in the SAP Script under a text element.
2. In that perform(in the program) I am calling other text elements, where I have to write the statements.
But I dont know, what is the problem here, when I debug the Write_Form FM, in the very first statement itself, it is becoming false and coming out from the whole process. That statement is
check co_perform-active <> true.
Please advise me, am I doing anything wrong or is there any other process to fullfill it.

Muse forms hosted on BC and embedded in Muse website hosted on third party host

Just wondering if there are any plans for Muse forms to be hosted on BC and able to embed on Muse website that is on a third party host? If this is already possible... how? I know of another company that allows for forms (using their separate web form program) to be hosted through them and embedded in their web design software that can host a site elsewhere... just wasn't sure if Muse was able to do this too. You can use the Muse forms on a third party host. But if you create a form in BC and embed it in Muse, you can't use it on a third party host. It can be used on BC only.

The checkmarls are simple images. If you scale up the check mark or look at it in higher magnification, it of course appears blurry.
You may want to replace the check marks by graphics of your own (perhaps scaleable SVGs)
Select a check box, open the states panel and see the different states; change the graphics for the desired state by using the "Fill"-command in command strip on top of the application window.

So, now the video has been removed. Is this an indication that some pulled the trigger on the forms too early. That's not such great customer service. One of the reason I decided to go ahead and pay was because this was one of the features I need for a customer site. Of course, I can do this another way but I have been trying to consolidate everything under the Adobe prodict umbrella. What's the deal????????????????

Meanwhile, I was able to narrow the problem down: PHP seems not to accept a re-directed mail address as sender of the mail in some cases. So, it has nothing to do with the mail form itself.

In adobe muse, how do you control the replyto address for a form?

I'm creating a website for a client, and when I created an email form, it shows up in the recipient's mailbox as from me, or rather my Adobe ID's registered email. How can I make this a different reply-to address?

If you're using FTP upload, then Muse generates PHP files for your form.
The Muse PHP form files set the email 'from' address to the same email address as you specify in the 'to' option for the form.
This is done because some hosting providers refused to deliver email from somesite.com unless the from address is [email protected] (because it's more likely to be spam).
So Muse uses the same email address in the 'from' and 'to' line because it makes it more likely that the form emails will actually make it to you(or your client).
Note that the email 'reply-to' header is filled in with the email address entered by whoever filled out the form, so you can hit 'reply' in your email software to reply to the form submitter.
In the future we may add the ability to specify the 'from' email, but Muse doesn't have that feature yet.

How do we customize the default CKEditor for Web Form Editor in UCM 10gR3?

Our customers are using the Web Form Editor for some WYSIWYG changes. The form has too many options and they would like to limit what the users can do. We have attempted to make changes to the following files to customize the CKEditor for Web Form Editor and cannot see our changes reflected after saving/restarting Content Server.

Posting the answer:
You need to make the changes to the webforms component inside the ~\custom\FormEditor\templates\fe_config.js file. Then propagate your changes using the Administration > Actions > Publish layout files page.
One more quick question - where do we limit the Styles, Fonts, Sizes, Colors?
in the same file we added lines similar to the following to limit the fonts,
styles....
CKEDITOR.config.font_names = 'Arial;Times New Roman;Verdana';
CKEDITOR.config.fontSize_sizes = '16/16px;24/24px;48/48px;';

Modifying the appearance of the search box, the search button, and the submit button for web forms

I'm trying to modify the appearance of the search box, the search button, and the submit button for web forms by modifying the CSS on Stylesheets. None of the tags I'm using (e.g. .webform .cat_button) seem to be working. What are the correct tags for those three elements?

When you generate the help you can select / deselect the buttons that are displayed.

Muse form is not working on godaddy and no error message indicating a php error is occuring. Could something else be wrong? Do I have to manually set the form once loaded to go daddy to direct through their mail form system?

I have read in multiple places on the forum that muse forms are now supported on third party platforms. however I am having a very difficult time getting mine to work on Godaddy. They seem to no longer have the "form mailer" option and told me to look at this PHP: mail - Manual to make the forms work. Muse is not giving any error messages indicating that there is a problem on the go daddy end, the form appears to function but no message is received at email address. can anyone help troubleshoot this for me.

Thanks for getting back to me. So, I tried changing the address as Sanjit suggested, and yes an error message came up. But then I tested Brad's theory and looks like the form works with another email address other than that of the actual website email:( So I guess based on Brad's link I should reroute the form to the other (non-godaddy) email...or contact go-daddy to see if they can correct this? Would that be the final answer?

Help with Muse form - random order on test and where did the case number come from?

Fairly new to Muse but finding my way around. Created a simple form, added extra lines, changed labels and reordered etc to suit our needs. All looks fine in design stage. When I published and tested the form, the email submission I received has a different order for the form fields, so they are no longer logical and do not follow the order shown on the design stage. Any reason and/or any advice on how to fix this? The data needs to match an internal system for ease of use but Muse seems to have its own ideas about which order we should receive the field data from the submitted form!?
Also, there appears to be a randon 'case number' as part of the email submission. I have not created a field for this - where has it come from, and how do I get rid of it?

F4 help not working in custom backend service for PD form

Dear All,
Iam working with the Create position HCM PD form and i have a requirement to add two fields, one for the company code and the other is for the cost center and then create the relationship betwee the position and the cost center when the form is submitted.
I have defined a generic service and created an enhancement implementation and linked this generic service to the imppementaion. I have written the logic for the F4 help for the fields in the method GET_HELP_VALUES, i have written the scripting for the drop down field in the form to trigger the F4 help in the form.
When the cost center is being passed to the screen, i would then read the value of the cost center in the form workflow and create the relationship between S and K in the workflow as i am unable to achiev this in the design time of the PD form.
But my current problem in that he values are not getting passed from the method to the field on the screen. I have worked on quite a few scenarios for F4 help and doing validations in the implementation in the PA form and i have seen this functionality working fine.
My problem here is that i am unable to understand why the F4 value help is not working in my form. The standard PD service SAP_PD is also being used in the form to have the dropdown values for the account assignment feature.
Could you please suggest me with some clues to fix my issue? i can share more details for further analysis.

First....are you sure you have "marked" that field as possible for F4 help?
Reply: Yes
Second...are you populating the help values strictly from that method...ie. not also using do_operations method to do it. If you refer to the documenation, it points out that trying to use both can cause issues.
Reply: i am using only the GET_HELP_VALUES method and nothing written in do_operations.
Third...when you debug your method, do you "see" the help values actually populating and as you say "not coming back to the screen"? I would check this first to make sure that there are actually values being found (ie. the logic within your service is correct).
Reply: i have put the external break-point in this method and when the form in opened for processing by the HR admininstrator,the form openes up and the control is not being sent to the debugger. I have written the scripting in the exit event of the events and scripts as suggested in the SAP help document. SO when i click on the dropdown field in the form, the debugger starts and executes the method and the code executes, then no values are populated on the screen.
Fourth...are you using any generic services for populating help values as well. HCM P&F has a nasty habit of "if one GS fails, they all fail" so often, your service might work fine but an error in another makes yours appear to fail as well....hard to debug and find those kind.
Reply: Yes i am using the generic service mainly for the purpose of F4 help. I do not see any issue with other gneric services as i have implemented a few generic services for PA forms and they are working fine.
Fifth...oops...forgot the obvious one...make sure it isn't a security issue...ie. make sure you have access to read the cost centers you want.
Reply: I dont get any auth error in SU53 while i test the process in R3

You actually should be able to do this using an Advanced/Enhanced Generic Service (if this is in fact the step at which you want a true update to occur). Just a thought.
