Customize 404 error (Resource not found) in iView

Hi all,
While using KM Document iView, if a KM Resource is not found, a 404 error message is displayed - The requested resource is not available.
Is there any way to customize this error message ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. But the scenario here is quite different. I want to display a custom error message at the iView level, not at the Page level, as mentioned in the link.
For e.g: In KM Document iView, there is a parameter named Path to Document, where we give the path to the KM Resource. If the resource does not exist, a 404 error message is displayed : "404 - The requested resource is not available". I need to show a custom mesage instead of this standard 404 error, and this is at iView level, not at page level.
Any ideas??

We finally solved it. I post the correction for future reference.
The problem was solved by changing the configuration on the assignment of the data provider to the data model.
ZTM_TGW_SVC_MODEL_0001_BE software version was DEFAULT, when it should've been /IWPGW/BWF.
The route in SPRO is: SAP Netweaver->Gateway>OData Channel>Administration>General Settings> Assign Data Provider to Data Model.

outlook for mac, message HTTP error resource not found 18596 really strange and outlook is connected and as soon as you send a mail you suddenly get the message, really annoying actually, seems to be an old problem!!!

Yahoo loads log in click mail 404 error page not found why?

I upload yahoo site, log in, click 'mail' and am given a '404' error; page not found... This does NOT happen on Chrome or IE, but the pages of yahoo on IE suck and Chrome won't let me have a single toolbar even though there are all sorts of claim you can have one... (sorry) WHY doesn't FIREFOX let yahoo mail load? I LOVE FIREFOX and ALL THINGS MOZILLA, but after I ran into crappy-sappy babylon... it put a toolbar on IE, CHROME and MOZILLA... I had to delete everything associated with them all, get toolbar sweepers and better uninstall programs to weed their junk out and now MOZILLA, FIREFOX, rather warns no one and makes me submit this rather than help

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

ISE Guest Portal - Error Resource not found

Hello,
When I create a guest user through the sponsor portal, then try to login with this guest user through the Guest Portal, after I press login button, the following error message occurs and do not know what to do to solve.
Error: Resource not found.
Resource: /guestportal/
None of the messages on the forum about it helped me to solve the problem.
I am using ISE 1.1.3.124 and this is a new re-image appliance.
Can anyone help?

As you are not able to get the guest portal, then you need to assure the following things:-
1) Ensure that the two Cisco av-pairs that are configured on the authorization profile should exactly match the example below. (Note: Do not replace the "IP" with the actual Cisco ISE IP address.)
–url-redirect=https://ip:8443/guestportal/gateway?...lue&action=cpp
–url-redirect-acl=ACL-WEBAUTH-REDIRECT (ensure that this ACL is also defined on the access switch)
2) Ensure that the URL redirection portion of the ACL have been applied to the session by entering the show epm session ip command on the switch. (Where the session IP is the IP address that is passed to the client machine by the DHCP server.)

11) Or you need to do re-image again.

I have just installed SQL Devloper Version 4.0.0.12 [Build MAIN-12.27] on on windows7-64Bit machine.
I just observed following error on Extensions log window.
-oracle.sqldeveloper.migration.application
Error: Resource not found: ${SCRATCH_COMMAND_ICON}
Note: I already had delppoyed Oracle SQL Developer 3.2 Release
when i double click the error its taking me to extension.xml line : <property name="SmallIcon">res:${SCRATCH_COMMAND_ICON}</property>
and i see "java.io.PrintWriter@57fff4da" line in Messages-Log window.
Hope this error doesn't create any problem. Any Idea ?

HTTP 404 Error : Page Not Found

I recieved a *"HTTP 404 Error: Page Not Found"* when I branch via Branch To Page Identified By Item using the application_item F103_NEXT_PAGE as the item. I looked at the apache error log and found the following error message:

I still recieved the same *"HTTP 404 Error: Page Not Found"* when I branch via Go to Page using the application_item *&F103_NEXT_PAGE.* as the page.
Can someone please help me. I am under a tight deadline and I cannot test the application further until this is resolved.

ops, sorry, you already made that test, didn't you?
The fact is i am testing on XE so there is no Apache in between.
I guess that you are getting HTTP 404 whereas i get a different message.
My best guess is that the item doesn't contain the value you say at the time of branching.
Another possibility is that you think it is using that branch, but it is conditional and the condition is not met, but there are no further branches to process and apex doesn't know where to branch to.
Does any of the above make sense?

JNLP Error resource not found...

Hi All,
I am trying to use versioning in a JNLP file. But I get errors when:
1. if I have version="0.8" I get resource not found. If not entered jar found with no issues.
2. If I use __V0.8" added to the file name the same issue. But if I use _V0.8" without the second underscore then no error.
This happens when useing jre 1.6.0_45 or jre 1.7.0_51 on windows 8 or 7.
I have found no real examples using this format for version control on web start.

go to Application folder for finding jar files
goto start menu -> run -> Javaws -> File -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Applications folder
(C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\javaws\cache)
you should have run the IR or ID at least once to find the Jar files in that folder. It is usually placed in http folder in cache
you do not generate them...every time you click on IR / ID links which have a .jnlp extension which is associated with Java web start, it checks if it has already downloaded version of the jar files on the local system in the folder as mentioned ..if yes..then the application starts using the cached jar files and if not then downloads those jar files first...but offcourse...you never create them

Nilvaiu Error (Resource not found)

I have developed an application that uses DAQmx to take data. While running in development mode, the software works fine. When I generate an executable and run the code, I get the Nilvaui.dll resource not found error (see attached). I can turn off my antivirus (AVAST) and it works fine. Any suggestions other than using a different anti-virus or non at all? By the way, I already repaired Max and rebooted my computer. The application is running on the same computer that the development system is on. I am using Labiew 2014 Pro.

It looks Like AVAST is stopping traffic on a port needed by your app. The link above will guide you to drill the right holes in the settings

404 error service not found for irj/portal ??

I am facing a problem in our productive system. It is a 2-node cluster 7.01 with hostnames v000011360 and v000012360.
We are using a web dispatcher for load balancing and redirecting.
When we try to access the portal through the web dispatcher's url, if the redirection is done to the first node (11360), portal logon screen appears and everything is ok. But if the redirection is to the 2nd Node, Service cannot be reached error occurs!
The user has to refresh the page several times, until the web dispatcher redirects to the 1st Node. A000010360 is the virtual ip of the cluster.
The complete error message is this:
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http://a000010360.central.nbg.gr/irj/portal call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note
The termination occurred in system MBP with error code 404 and for the reason Not found.
The selected virtual host was 0 .
What can I do?
Please select a valid URL.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

Yes there is a java server running in the second node!
Also, if the 2nd Node url is written directly, logon screen appears and everything works fine.
However, this should be done automatically through the web dispatcher (or the message server) load balancing.
The direct url for 1st Node is http://v000011360:53000/irj and for the 2nd Node http://v000012360:53000/irj.
Being though a cluster setup we use the virtual url http://a000010360:53000/irj, which should direct to one of the 2 nodes through the web dispatcher. If it directs to the 1st Node, everything is ok, but to the 2nd, 404 error not found occurs.
Also if server0 in 1st node fails for any reason, we cannot access the portal whatsoever! Shouldn't the dispatcher redirect to the 2nd node which is up and running? Isn't that the purpose of having a cluster system?

APEX - HTTP 404 Error - Page not Found

We periodically receive 404 Page Not Found errors in our APEX applications. The problem is resolved by rebooting the server where APEX is located. We are using Oracle 10.1.0.3.0. I did some searching on the issue and found that this could be related to a bug that was fixed with Patch 5648872. However, we are on a Windows environment. Does a similar patch exist for the Windows environment?

I may be wrong but if you are using 10.1 or 10.2 you may have an issue that fills up the shared_pool to the point of failure. Try issuing the following command in SQL*Plus and see if it clears up the issue.
alter system flush shared_pool;
The DBA will likely need to issue it but if it works they can set up a scheduled job to run every so often to maintain the workaround. I am also told that there is a database patch that will also fix the issue but I am not aware of the specific ID. Might be that one of the Dev Team knows.

Exchange 2013 SP1 RPC 404 Error Page Not Found

Anyone got any ideas why on my Exchange 2013 SP1 server I am getting a 404 error when trying to access the RPC URL?
I had a look in the CAS RPC logs and see the following HTTP POST events:

This works fine in Exchange 2010 SP3 so I am wondering if maybe Microsoft have removed the /rpc url functionality in Exchange 2013 SP1?

You receive as you said HTTP 404 error, can you provide the specific HTTP 404 error message?
For example:
HTTP/1.0 404 File Not Found
HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found
HTTP/1.0 404 Object Not Found
HTTP/1.0 404 Page Cannot Be Found
The page cannot be found. The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable

Wpg_docload.download_file : 404 Error - File not found

I have a system where we have created a custom package to be able to pull down a image from the database using the generic wpg_docload.download_file procedure like so

   end;This code works perfectly in our development environment.
However, we have recently launched to a production environment, and this code is not working. We are able to upload images ok, as we can retreive them in Toad, but in the apex environment, they are displayed with the IE red-cross icon, or the broken image icon in Firefox. When I try to just display the picture directly (http://myserver:7777/pls/apex/SCHEMA.utils.display?id=123), it returns a 404 file not found error.
As far as we know, all environments have the same setup as each other, and all the privileges are the same on all environments.
Any assistance in this matter would be appreciated.
Database: 10G R2
Apex version: 3.0

Kate - If you had to grant execute privilege on the "SCHEMA.UTILS" package to FLOWS_030000 in order for the URL to work (http://myserver:7777/pls/apex/SCHEMA.utils.display?id=123) then the DAD may be configured incorrectly. You should (almost) never grant additional privileges to FLOWS_030000.
You should grant execute on the package to the user named in the DAD, as John said, either APEX_PUBLIC_USER or HTMLDB_PUBLIC_USER.

I am using Pi 7.1 . I have a scenario IDoc to File . When i execute my end to end scenario i am getting the following error :
Unable to find resource bce2fba0-80bd-11de-93f0-e5e70ad6cb21 in the following software component versions: http://NANCO/N001/CMS_Customerscom/sap/xi/tf/_MM_N001_DEBMAS06_TO_CMS_Customers
whereas the mapping is working fine in the Operation mapping.
Can anybody hwlp me with this?

                    I hope you are doing good.
                    Try to test your interface Mapping. It should also work fine and should find Operation Mapping.
                     Test your configuration in Integration Directory.
                     If above steps does not work, change a mapping name by bit and check it after that.Even then it does not work.
                     Go for cache refresh.
