Customize Adobe Presenter presentation with satisfaction evaluation on exit

I need to find an easy way to modify and customize (lots of) Adobe Presenter Powerpoint presentations,
such that it is possible to start a satisfaction evaluation in the end and when aborting/exiting the presentation.
The Powerpoint presentation will be will be deployed in Adobe Connect and must be supporting its proprietary tracking mechanisms.
I need to integrate with Adobe Presenter Powerpoint presentation and find out the current slide number and total number of slides.
One idea is to create and embed home-made flash as a swf-file into the Powerpoint presentation.
Inside this swf-file it should be possible to track slide event/information using ActionScript.
Inside this swf-file, I will use ExternalInterface javascript api to do changes to the html document,
the adobe presenter Powerpoint presentation embedded in by Adobe Connect.
How is this possible. Please provide any API information and/or code example.
Alternative is to inject javascript from home-made swf-file, such that the injected javascript can track current slide,
total number of slides, and end of presentation by accessing the presenter flash/movie object.
I will be using Adobe Connect 8, Adobe Presenter 8 and Flash Professional CS6.

Thanks for response.
Can you please try following things. :-
1) Publish the Presentation locally on your system. Go to Published folder. Please see the screen shot to know where your presentation is getting published.:-
In publish folder "viewer.swf" file exist. Observe behavior of Viewer.swf. Is it alos behave same.
2) Verify that Cache folder size is not too big....that slower the browser. And delete the temporary internet files.
3) Publish simple content slide without swf/video. Are these presentations playing fine?
4) Please check if you have utility that taking backup quitely or some processes that taking lot of time.Check Task Manager performance tab and check for these background  processes. And observe how is overall performance of this computer.

  • Adobe form: Issue with BACK, CANCEL and EXIT buttons

I am new to Adobe forms. I created a simple demo Adobe form and was able to print it successfully except a strange problem.
Whenever I opt for print preview it shows me a blank page. On pressing enter it shows me the form, But now none of the BACK, EXIT, CANCEL buttons work. On pressing any of them I keep getting the print form.
So the only way I can come out of it is /n.
Can anyone please help with the reason for such an issue and how to get rid of it.
    Regards,
    Ashutosh

Maybe you can tell us something more about the code you use to print your form. I think thatis the problem. Otto

  • Figures show up pixelated in presentation viewed with Adobe reader

I am working on a presentation which I am making in beamer (latex). Since I am including animations and hyperlinks to sounds, I am using Adobe reader 9 for unix on Lubuntu. Everything is working fine except for one strange thing:
    - The fonts and labels on the figures I am using appear extremely pixelated in the presentation pdf (viewed with Adobe reader) even though if I open them individually, they look fine.
    - If I open the presentation pdf with evince, there is no such problem and the figures look fine. But since animations dont show in evince, I have to use Adobe reader
Apparently this is an Adobe reader problem. I tried meddling with the settings a bit (pixels per inch, smoothen lines...) but with no success. I have no idea why this is happening, but it is quite terrible for me.

As a follow to the above, the problem was related to a file transfer.  The PDFs in question were being transfered from a Unix platform to a Windows Server.  The transfer was defaulting to ASCII or Text and not binary.  Apparently this was never an issue with older versions of Adobe Reader.  Once the transfer was switched to binary, Reader X was able to view the files with no missing pages.  Something was being stripped from the file that Reader X just didn't like.

  • Is Adobe 9 Presenter free with CC membership? Help..

Could someone clairify this for me?

    Hi Bearstandingtall,
As correctly suggested by Luis Rebelo you can subscribe to Presenter 9 with the help of the link mentioned above, because Adobe Presenter 9 is not the part of Creative cloud.
You may refer to the following link to get the information about the tools and services:

  • Linking between Adobe Presenter presentations

    Hi,
I am an Adobe Presenter newbie. My project is massive, so I
have broken it down into 'bite-sized' chunks. I have been able to
turn my PPTs into Adobe Presenter presentations but can't figure
out how to keep the links between the different presentations.
There are many links on the slides themselves and a great deal of
the navigation (choices) are made from the slides themselves.
I am using PPT 2007, but saving files as backward compatible
with the demo version of Presenter 7.
Any hints, help will be appreciated.
    thanks,
    Martha

I used Presenter to create and a very effective catalogue
matrix to other presentations with specific learning paths broken
down by the learner's role in the company.
The catalogue Power Point used a table with colored cells and
text labels indication the appropriate learning module for the job
category of the individual learner. I posted the individual
presentations, collected all the urls and used them as launch
hyperlinks for each cell in the catalogue. I did the same thing in
Captivate and replicated launch buttons on each slide page so the
user could cross launch any of the other presentations at any time.
    Kind of nifty.

  • What is the easiest way to make a slide presentation DVD with music that can be played on PC or DVD player using MacBook Pro?

What is the easiest way to make a slide presentation DVD with music that can be played on a PC or DVD player?  I'm using a MacBook Pro since that's the computer that has all the photos (in an album) and music.  Thanks.

I would suggest that you post this to the Adobe Encore>Menus & Buttons forum. What you want to do, if I read correctly, is pretty simple. There will probalby be links available to step you though it. I'll look for this there, and start gathering some links.
    Good luck,

  • How to download an Adobe Connect presentation from a website

    Hi Adobe Community,
I'm taking a virtual course and they use Adobe Connect for our virtual classroom. After the class, the Adobe Connect presentation is saved on the course website. How do I download this presentation?

If the Host of the meeting chooses, they can make an FLV version and provide that to you (there is also the option for MP4, but since that is an additional cost to the organization providing the training, they may not opt to to that). Connect doesn't record the meetings in a video format, as you can see by the pods remaining interactive. If this is a need of yours, please reach out to the individual(s) who manage your online training and request that they provide you with such.

  • Problem with Presenter Mobile (with an LMS)

I'm trying to view a Presenter presentation using the Adobe Presenter Mobile app. The presentation has been loaded into a Learning Management System (Desire2Learn) and it works fine on a computer. It won't load on the iPad. It just shows the introduction screen with the loading symbol circling.

    Hi,
Could you please share me the link to the course you uploaded on the LMS.
You may mail me at [email protected]
Also, you need to give the link of the course in the browser on ipad and not directly on the Presenter mobile app.
    Thanks,
    Alpi

  • Adobe Connect Presenter to YOUTUBE?

Is it possible to convert/record an Adobe Connect
presentation for play on YOUTUBE? What software should be used?
Should it be converter to AVI format, or something else?
Right now I'm trying to do this with Camtasia Recorder. Is
there an easier way? I've looked into the SoThink Flash to Video
    Converter (
    http://www.sothinkmedia.com/swf-to-video/index.htm)
, but since each slide is a separate SWF, I'm not sure if it can be
    done with Connect Presenter files.
    Thanks! Lisa

I'm answering my own question. Hope someone finds it helpful.
SoThink's SWF to Video converter works great. It's only $79
    at www.sothink.com
First, download the presentation content from the enterprise
or host server to your computer.
Unzip the files to a directory.
    Open the video converter.
Find the viewer.swf file. This is the input file in SoThink.
    Set up your conversion parameters.
Play and capture the file in SoThink.
    Play the converted avi file.

  • Adobe online presentation for sales people

    Hello,
Do you know if Adobe has a product similar to Prezi?
We are looking for an on-line presentation tool for our sales people. The Adobe tool should enable us to upload company ppt. template and edit it. It must have features such as transitions, effects, multimedia, import/export flexibility and to play videos. We want to access it any time online / offline protected by a password (or to be sure that data are secured). The output should be innovative, eye catching and interesting for our customers. Please let me know if Adobe Presenter or any other Adobe tool is suitable / available.
Thank you for your thoughts in advance!

Presenter with Adobe Connect would be the closest option that I know of. But Prezi it is not. More work will be needed when creating a Presenter presentation. PPT would handle the transitions and effects. Presenter can have videos imported, not sure what you want with the export option. Connect would be able to provide online viewing at any time, and you could publish it to PDF with Presenter for offline viewing. Password protection would be available through Connect or you could secure the PDF. The 'eye catching' ability of Presenter would primarily rest on the strength of the PPT deck. Presenter can just dress it up with audio/video/Flash content and then make it available over the web.
You can get a 30 day trial of Presenter and Connect on their product pages. You might also want to look at Captivate, but it may be a bit much of a transition, since it doesn't work with PPT as seamlessly as Presenter.

  • Presenter Slides with Video Buffer forever

We have several Adobe Presenter presentations hosted on Rustici Cloud, and the problem we have is that each slide buffers for a second or two before playing.  But the real issue is that slides with mp4 video in the slide, appear to buffer forever.
These courses were originally authored in Presenter 7, and then recently opened and edited in Presenter 8 to make small changes.  It appears that once the course was published in Presenter 8, the buffering issues began.
Anyone ever experienced similar and any ideas for how to fix it?

Presenter 8 changed the default setting for controling pre-loading of flash content. In 7 and older, there was no limit on preloading content, unless you set it. In Presenter 8, the default is to disable the pre-loading for Flash content (SWF, FLV, MP4). This is what is likely causing each slide to buffer and the videos to have a long buffer. You can change this setting in Adobe Presenter > Settings > Quality and it will be the option in the image below. Un check it and then republish.

I shall open delete my present account with iTunes and open a new one - but I do not have the password. How can I then delete the present account??

Since you can't delete Apple IDs and having multiple Apple IDs can cause confusion, what you may want to do is rename your existing Apple ID to the new email (desired Apple ID).  That would in effect do what you want, get rid of the old and give you the new.

There is no BIOS in OS X. There is only the EFI stored in ROM that is not user modifiable. OS X is probably checking Bay 0 for the boot drive since that is where it should be. It won't check the Tempo drive since it is treated like an external drive. I suggest you open Startup Disk preferences to see if the Tempo device is selected as the boot device. If it isn't, then select it. That will probably shave off a few seconds in the startup time.
