Customizing default aggregation

I have a cube (based on G/L Balances) which has 9 flex field segments, time, currency and set of books. These segments have altogether approx 25 hierarchies. My issue is, using AWM how does one specify PRECOMPUTE(NA) for some of these dimensions in an aggregation plan? All of these hierarchies a value based. I know how to do this by editing an AGGMAP, but I am having trouble figuring out how something like this should be implemented. Perhaps I shouldn't be using AWM at all? Then what?
Any thoughts and ideas would be helpful.

You should be able to do it with the Oracle OLAP Analytic Workspace Java API (AWXML). The default Model View in AWM uses this API. For more details, please refer to the reference guide on OTN:

Custom default value in view row class

How do I set a custom default value in a view row class?
There is no create method to override, and I cannot seem to determine whether it's a new row or existing row in the code.
The IDE wizard says it's possible, I can't find it in the documentation.

I actually need to pull the custom value from the current row of another view object.
Client uses a combobox to select a 'Location'. Then in the other view objects, I use that location for all new rows. This way they only select their location once.

Moving custom default portal from 1.1 to 1.2

Is there a way to capture or backup the html & image files from a custom default portal in ISE 1.1 to be able to move it to a fresh install of ISE 1.2. Would it be in the backup somewhere?

Default Aggregation Rule

Can someone explain me as to how BI interprets the default aggregation rule.
Say when we say the defualt aggregation rule on the sales fact table column revenue is SUM. what does it actually imply.
Similarly when we use the Aggregation Content tab in the Logical table source and set aggregation content group by what does it actually mean.

If you didnt set content tab that would be default aggregation, means based on the columns pull in the criteria SUM changes like drill down or roll up.
'Group by' clause keep on changes as per the column in the criteria.
When you set any level for a metric then it alway aggregated to that level, values will not change as per column selection.

Is there a way to create a custom default profile in mavericks?

Hi,
There was a way to do this by copying profile folders in 10.7/10.8, but it doesn't seem to work with Mavericks. The instructions I used are here:

Now, when I follow the same instructions with Mavericks, I get a local keychain error, despite having removed the login keychain all together.

Default aggregation

Is it possible to have "multiply" as the default aggregation for a measure in OBIEE 11g? Any workaround solution if this is not supported? Thanks.

Advice for Creating a Custom Default User Profile in Windows Enterprise 8/8.1 Preview

Just after some advice on the Best way to create a custom Default User Profile for our Windows 8 Enterprise Image.
We are also looking at the Windows 8.1 Enterprise preview so advice on creating a Default User profile for this would also be appreciated.
My Requirements are listed below
-Pinned Web sites that open in Windows 8 App style IE
-Default Windows 8 pre-installed Apps
-The Microsoft Lync Windows 8 Client from the App Store *I understand this would be tricky, not fussed though if it cant be done*
-Customised Start screen layout
I have tried the Copy Profile tag in the Unattend.xml and syspreped the machine, this did not work.
I have tried using the new "Start Screen Layout" Group Policy object, this also did not work
The Closest I can get was to setup a user profile, Backup the Default User profile, Rename the User I worked on to "Default", Clean up the temp folder, then navigate through the user registry and replaced any absolute profile paths with the %USERPROFILE%
variable. This worked in terms of setting the layout of the start screen, but the Lync App was not present, and Windows 8 apps, eg Video, Music and IE, would crash when attempting to open them.
I know I am doing something wrong, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Still not getting the results that I want, to recap I am trying to do the following.
Create a Windows 8.1 Enterprise Standard Operating Environment (SOE) Image for laptop devices at our school. These devices will be in the Students hands 24/7 and will be joined to our Windows 2012 based domain.
I am trying to create a custom Default user profile for the image so that when a student logs onto the Laptop for the first time they get a start screen that we have created.
The start screen consists of Pre-installed Modern Apps, a modern app created by our Software team that is side-loaded, Office 2013 Applications, and most importantly Tiles for Websites such as our Learning Management System and Intranet Portal.
Now to the issues
I boot the target system into Audit mode, and setup the start screen accordingly. For the Websites,
I open the websites in the IE11 Modern app and use the built in control to pin the site to the start screen. Everything goes and looks as expected.
I then run sysprep with a custom unattend.xml with copyprofile inside it. Again everything runs as expected.
Now when I create a new user on the system the custom start screen appears however the websites that were pinned are no longer on the start screen. BUT when I manually open the Modern IE11 app, navigate to the website and pin the site, The Tile now appears
on the start screen in the location I put it.
<Rant>
Now this puts us in a situation where we can no longer deliver a Standard Operating environment for not just our managed laptops but also our labs where a student just wants to logon and get to work.
Why as a Desktop and System Administrator, who manages a fleet of 300+ Desktops and 1000+ Laptops do I not have the full power to customise things they way I want them.
Yes I am aware of the new Group Policy setting for deploying Start screen configurations, Doesn't work when Web sites are pinned
Yes I am aware of AppsFolderLayout.bin, Doesn't work for Pinned sites.
Do the links above to Microsoft TechNet articles explaining how to customise Start Screens help, No they do not.
Finally I am aware that I can just create a shortcut to the websites and pin those, the issue is that this does not utilise the new Live Tile code that was introduced with IE11 and we plan to use these Tiles as another notification system for our staff and
students.
I will continue to work on this, if I manage to find a solution myself I will post the process, however if anyone in the community, or from Microsoft for that matter, has a proven solution to pinning websites to the default user profiles start screen, please
post it.

What is Default Aggregation in Web Intelligence ?

In WebI, when I click on the Sigma (Sum) icon, the last option is "Default aggregation". What are the uses of this function?Also, what is the difference between Sum and Default Aggregation?

I am using BEx.
My problem is col1 is showing 85.5 in BEx.
In Webi, when i select "Sum" it is showing 13.5, but when i select "Default Aggregation" it is showing 85.5
When is checked "Duplicate Row Aggregation" there are only 8 records in col1 which sum upto 13.5. I dont know how 85.5 is arrived while using "Default Aggregation" ?

How to create custom default XControl

Hello,
I would like to have a custom default XControl, implementing the everused state and data, and methods.
I have tried modifying \resource\Framework\Providers\xi\xctl.llb but I am unable to do anything with the controls of every vis inside. I guess this is some kind of lock, is there any way I can go around it ?

The problem is that it is not quite clear how to reuse some design patterns developed for XControls for new XControl, without using copy and paste.

IBE_INDIVIDUAL customer default values for iStore walk in user

We have enabled walk-in user IBE_INDIVIDUAL for iStore.No approval required for this type of users and they can start shopping/place order right away after registration. How can we make sure that certain values are defaulted for this PERSON type of customer like order type, payment term, credit limit etc?

Issue in BAPI- BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL2 with custom default macro in SNP

System Details:
SCM 5.0
SP Pack: 13
SNP PA1- No Time series Key figures, only order series
SNP PA3: With time series KF, which also included dynamic safety stock time series KFs
We have created custom macro ZGSCM_SAFETY_STOCK copy
of /SAPAPO/SAFETY_CALC where we used BAPI- BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL2 to
get the dynamic safety stock values from PA3(Planning area3-Planning book3) to PA1(Planning area1-Planning book1). We are getting two issues while doing this as below:
1) Issue we are facing is that when it goes to PA3, it actually save
PA3 planning book for that user as a active planning book and return
back with PA3-planning book. So to avoid this, we call same BAPI again
where we are just calling PA1 planning book without any selection and It works fine and returns
the safety stock values correctly. But now when we load multiple items and
doing the drill down then we are getting an error message saying:
Error reading planning objects (No SNP master data table found)
Error reading data - Planning book cannot be processed further
Do we have any other way to set the active session for user after BAPI call with in the program?
2) Also it always call default macros when BAPI calls which we don't
want, Is there any way we can avoid calling default macros while calling BAPI-BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL2

Hi,
The first issue which you faced is becasue of the BAPI which tries to access all the Key Figurs of the data view from which you need to copy data. These KF might be used in different Macros & those macro's might be running for different periodicities.
You can create separate data view the the same planning book & assign the KF to the newly created data view. Most probably, this will solve your problem & you wont get any error message.
Incase the error message pops up, you need to create diffent planning book or planning area (based on your previous PA) & then try. This will definately solve problem which u had faced.

Multiple Customer Default Routes over MPLS Cloud

I have a customer with a Core network connected together over VPLS, and runnng EIGRP as the IGP. For the branch offices the are using MPLS, and SP requires us to use BGP when sending routes to them.
We have the core site, A, B, C. Site A&B have an internet connection. I want to have 1/2 the branches going to Site A and 1/2 going to Site B, and the SiteA orB and Site C as a backup. there is a single VRF. The SP will not make any changes for us...so I have been told. So I need to find out if there is a way to do this without SP involvement. I have tried Communities (CE side) with no Luck unless I make changes in the P/PE Net.
Attached is a drawing of the high level network.
Any Ideas....

Custom Image deploy and custom default profile how?

I have custom created wim image(Windows 8.1 update2 x64 enteprise) with all programs that I want - like:
Office2013
7zip
antivirus software
etc...
Question is - Can I create default profile with my custom settings (control panel list icons, This PC icon show on desktop, Outlock icon pined on taskbar....)?
I am create custom start menu but all other settings I cant modify.
I am found sysprep solution and ansver file but it is to complicate and
requires much more time.
Can I somehow copy administrator profile to default profile with all settings like I have in admin account?
I dont understood why microsoft prefer sysprep way for create image? I think that is much
easier periodically create an image
with all applications and updates with default profile.
After implementing image wsus takes him for update and
everyone is happy.

My latest issue - I am uninstall all store apps(with powershell some command with -online )for all users but apps
appear again when the new
domain user log in.

Custom / default probe LV 8.2

Hi All,
I have recently created myself a custom probe by right clicking on a string, creating a new probe giving it a name and saving it under the Labview/probes directory. However when i right click a string and select probe (I am wanting the default small box probe) i instead get my custom one automatically. I want access to the default one all the time but instead keep getting my custom one! Surely if i want my custom one i shall select probe->custom probes->mycustomProbe. Does anyone know how to undo this?
