Customizing form for user submitted content {tag_edit}

Hi,,
I have a Webapp with a few custom fields which can be filled by logged-in customers. These customers see all their submitted items on a certain webpage with two links: Edit and Delete. The tags {tag_delete} and {tag_edit} are connected to the links. The delete tag just deletes the item, but the edit tag leads to another page, where the customer can edit the webapp by editing form fields.
Problem: at this certain page, the form just shows the item name and item description, but no other fields to edit. How can I customize this form to show all fields, so the customer can edit them?

OMG, just found the button "edit template" right beside "list template" and "detail template" which lets me edit exactly the form I was looking for. Sorry for wasting time...

  • Outlook 2013 with Exchange Server - Changed custom form for contacts is not shown

    Our infrastructure:
    Exchange Server 2010
    Outlook 2010
    Outlook 2013
    Windows 7 Pro, Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8.1 Pro
    The situation:
    We've used an old custom form for contacts, worked perfectly fine
    I've updated the form (adding some new custom fields and checkboxes) using Outlook 2013 and publishing the form (with a new name) to the Exchange folder
    I've set the form as default form in our contacts folder
    I've used this Script to set the new form for the existing contacts  and the name of the new form is saved correctly
    BUT if I open a contact in our Exchange contacts folder, Outlook 2013 (Outlook 2010) still shows the old form
    Steps I've taken so far:
    Cleared Outlook forms cache
    Repeated the above steps 1-4 in Outlook 2010
    Switched Cached Exchange Mode off and back on
    Allowed Scripts in Trust Center Settings
    Used a new clean Windows installation with a new Outlook 2013 installation
    Used different Exchange users on different systems, but some behavior when opening contacts
    I'm out of options I can think of, so maybe somebody else has some new view on this problem.

    Is the Exchange folder in which the custom form is published available to all users?
    From the description, the script used to work for the old custom form, correct? Which version of Outlook did you use with the old custom contact form? Outlook 2010/Outlook 2013 or an earlier version? If you used the script with an earlier version of Outlook,
    we can't make sure it will still work with Outlook 2010/Outlook 2013.
    In addition we may also try creating a new contact form and test the steps to see if it will work.
    Please let me know the result.

    You can customize the list view in Admin > Site Manager > Module Templates > Web App Layouts > List Layout to also include {tag_releasedate}.
    Then, on a page, from the module toolbox, select Web Apps> List of Web App Items > you can choose the "Latest Items"

    You need to use LiveCycle (PC Only) to create a dynamic form like that.
    The best you can do with Acrobat to view all of the text in a field is to set the field to multiline, and set the size to "Auto" (If you don't set the size to 'Auto', you can enter as much text as you wish, but the user will need to use the scrollbar to view all of the text.)

    Hi Tarang,
    When you drag and drop data source to the form, it automatically sets the length equal to the field's data length.
    So you need to resize it to fit in the screen.
    for example:
    if you have a long text object in data source.
    when you drag and drop it gets both the coulmns TDLINE & other.
    but you only need to display the TDLINE so delete the other coulmn of this field in the form.
    thats how we resize tables. this is quite offen in nested tables.

    Open PDF Form in Acrobat XI then choose File > Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (inclues form fill-in & save)...
    Then, save the form with new name and it's gonna work.

    Going forward we want to use this form to send information regarding any patches needs to be applied on any of our instances.If some other user select a patch which is already installed on that instance this form will pop up a message saying it's already installed.The purpose of this form is to monitor instance refreshing details.But this is already provided by Oracle through OAM or by querying AD_BUGS table. So, you could create a custom responsibility which contains the patching part only from OAM but this still require a login to the application.
    I do not think you can achieve the above (creating a custom form) without logging to the application -- You may log a SR to confirm this with Oracle support.

    If you are using your own HTML form this will not happen because you are not using any of PORTAL's code. You can do this using the portal forms component.

  • Customizing KPRO for an external Content Server

    We need to install document's archiving onto a external  Content Server (product Documentum), using KPRO.
    We have customized thus :
    OAC0 : Content Repository = Z1 for DMS ( DocArea) and version 045.
    CSADMIN : We receive the message HTTP command adminContRep (operation configGet) is not possible for Z1 (only as of 0046)  when we validate .
    OACT : (Maintain category) , Z1 is affected to SOFFHTTP .
    SKPR08: Categories for physical doc classes , the category SOFFHTTP is affected to the class SOFFHIO.
    With the transaction CV01N , used to create a FID and to join a document , we receive the following error when we try to archive the document :
    "Error during the archiving of D:\Carte..".
    Nevertheless we can find the joined document onto the server Documentum.
    Do we forget a customizing   ???  Thanks a lot .

    i don't know the version of SAP ERP you're using but nevertherless you should bear in mind this detail:
    CSADMIN: "digital signature" not checked means you are not using it.
    OAC0:"No signature" SHOULD be checked if you are not using it (to be consistent with CSADMIN)
    However i am not sure this is solely responsible of your errors; in case of SAP content server, if it works for one user, it will work for the others.
    Please be more clearer in your last part  ???
    Do you mean only the user having done the check-in of the file who can afterwards access the original (in display and change) ?
    what do you mean by "For the other people, it doesn't find the original location" and also by "unless we create the same original location, or we change the original location".
    In case of SAP Content Server, we don't care about "location", whether the file comes initially from a fileserver X or Y or Z, as far as the file has been correctly checked-in the content server, it should be accessible for anybody (as far as user rights allow it)

    i have 1 module pool program where i have 7 fields.
    User can create the data and save it .
    once he save the Data the workflow should trigger.
    i have created a Z business object wherein i have created 4 key fields and 3 attributes according to data in the custom table
    the BO has no supertype. and created 1 event save
    now my question is where should i write the code for triggering the workflow on the save of the entries in the module pool program. and i am also i am responsible for showing the approver in the table after the decision is taken in workflow activtiy

    Once a user fills out the form, I would like the user to be able to send the completed form to an email or even a distribution list.
    I also would like to add a jpg or image to the top of the form.
    Can anyone provide me some tips on how to go about doing this. I am concerned it will take a lot more programming than I have current knowledge (I can do it but learning curve may take to long).
    I would think Adobe smartforms  is the best choice unless there is a better option that I don't know about

    Well if this is an online form then it is a standard thing Adobe Form can handle. But if you are talking of offline form then you will need to use Web Services to fill the dropdown dynamically from SAP.
    Once a user fills out the form, I would like the user to be able to send the completed form to an email or even a distribution list.
    There is a SubmitByEmail button which should trigger the default mail client on user's machine and the form can be sent to a email address.
    I also would like to add a jpg or image to the top of the form.
    There are Image element provided in standard library.
    Can anyone provide me some tips on how to go about doing this. I am concerned it will take a lot more programming than I have current knowledge (I can do it but learning curve may take to long).
