Customizing header links in wiki while passing authentication.

I'm trying to add a few new different headers to the page to services running outside of the wiki, but passing off authentication to them of the currently logged in user. I'm specifically trying to do this for roundcube and crushftp's web interfaces. From digging through the folders of the wiki, it seems like how they get the images that make up the header is from referencing a gif or jpg that tells it what pixels to display in the header from the image. That's not extremely difficult to me, but, the passing authentication and having it display in the body to the services is.
I'm aware of roundcube having some plugins for this purpose, but unsure of how to implement them not knowing what kind of authentication is being used already for the wiki. As for crushftp's web interface i'm more in the dark as far as how to make this work.
I did notice a reference in wikid.conf to "apple_utilities.Authentication.WikiAuthenticationProvider" for "authenticationProvider", but im not sure what type of authentication is taking place.
Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks every one for your valuable solutions.

  • How to Change Journal Header name to Custom Header Name while GL Importing?

    Hello Experts,
    I am in situation where customer wanted to keep their own journal header naming conventions to imported journals in Oracle GL for custom Journal sources.
    As I know while importing journals, Oracle Creates the Journal Name based on the below mentioned logic.
    "Journal Import creates a default journal entry name using the following format:
    (Optional User-Entered REFERENCE4)(Category Name)(Currency)
    (Currency Conversion Type, if applicable)
    (Currency Conversion Rate, if applicable)
    (Currency Conversion Date, if applicable) (Encumbrance Type ID, if applicable)
    (Budget VersionID, if applicable). If you enter a journal entry name,
    Journal Import prepends the first 25 characters of your journal entry name to
    the above format"
    But then How it is possible to only allow journal header Name to be used present in REFERENCE4 excluding all other string provided by Oracle? Instead of using omitted string custmoer wanted to keep their own parameters. Example - REFERENCE4.A.B.C etc.
    Is it possible to solve this using seeded setup or modifying some hook packages or anything else?
    As far as I know there can be one workaround to be use of updating journal header name after journal import being completed successfully for custom journal source. But only fear is Oracle doesnt allow updating the base table without API. Am I rght?
    So it would be really great if anyone of you can suggest the best solution or best possible workaround.
    Thanks

    Hello,
    I do not remember exactly how the null where handle in Oracle 9iAS. Have you tested what is the differences in the way the <%= null %> is returned in both 9iAS and 10.1.2?
    You may just have to modify the way the value is sent to the bean from the tag.

  • Resetting the id of dynamically generated JSF custom command link

    I have a java faces page which displays data from an arraylist.
    This list is populated when user inputs data in the input text field and clicks "Add Group" button.
    The arralylist consist of another arraylist within the former.
    I have created a custom command link for the former arraylist.
    As an user can add data to the arraylist so can he remove it from the arraylist.
    The command link has a method binding "closeTask" which is invoked when command link is clicked.
    This action removes the clicked element from the arraylist and displays the fresh list.
    The key field from the bean in the former arraylist is set in request, and is retrieved in the "closeTask" method to be assigned to the command link output text id (i.e. it identifies the element that is to be deleted from the arraylist).
    This functionality does not work as expected, i.e. command link component is not created/rendered during deletion as it is created while addition.
    As a result eventhough the element is removed from the arraylist, the id corresponding to the fresh arraylist is not refreshed and for further actions correct id is not passed and the deletion function does not work.
    How can I have resolve this problem?
    The sample code is included.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Issue in receiving custom header in response SOAP message

    Hi,
    I have created a simple BPEL process with custom headers in request and response message.
    I tried to send SOAP message through SOAPUI tool. Service is getting instantiated, able to access the request header and able to send response message. But only body is send as response message. Header is not sent in the response message.
    Also tried to invoke the above service through another BPEL process. I could able to send the header through request but not able to receive the header in response message.
    Pls. throw some light on this..
    Regards
    Jude.

    Hi,
    Input request is working as you mentioned but the output custom headers are not working. When I use bpelx:outputHeaderVariable="varOutManifest" I am getting exception while running the interface. So I used bpelx:outputHeaderVariables="varOutManifest" but I am not getting back the custom header from the partner service to the variable.
    Any hint.
    receive:
    bpelx:headerVariable="varManifest varSecurity"
    reply:
    bpelx:inputHeaderVariable="varOutManifest"
    Invoke:
    bpelx:outputHeaderVariables="varOutManifest"
    bpelx:inputHeaderVariable="varManifest varSecurity"
    Is anything wrong?
    I am on 10.1.3.3.1 MLR # 14. I am getting following exception when I use bpelx:outputHeaderVariable.

  • Custom Header/Footer examples

    Custom Header/Footer examples
    Does anyone have an example of a custom header and/or footer they are using in RequestCenter which has a hyperlink ?  We would like to have a "Getting Started with the Service Catalog" on the right hand side of the MyServices home page.
    The "Getting Started with the Service Catalog page" will be either an non-orderable service, a PowerPoint presentation or a link to a SharePoint page.  What types of "help" pages do you think work best in RequestCenter?
    thanks

    ooooohhh.... didn't know I could do that... our trainer didn't show us how to do that

  • Issue while passing Target URL dynamically in SOAP Receiver Adapter

    Experts,
    I am stuck with an issue while passing the Target URL dynamically.
    The UDF required for this works just fine. I can see the Target URL in Dynamic Configuration header(The Key is TServerLocation) in SXMB_MONI but the request that I am sending is not reaching the web service.
    Some posts have suggested to hard code the Target URL as http://.
    Below is the error that I am getting when I hard the Target URL as http://:

    I am on PI 7.0.
    Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.
    Best Regards,
    Vijay

    Issue resolved... by doing this:
    DynamicConfigurationKey key2 = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/SOAP", "TAuthKey");
    conf.put (key2, "username");
    In the advanced tab of the communication channel, set the flag "View Authorization keys", and then added "username" (user to access the dynamic target url) and the password (2 times).
    That's it...

  • How to pass authentication token with the request. Error in executing

    Hi,
    I am trying to do a service call.  This service is provided by a third party.  I used SOAP UI tester to test the service and it gives proper response for a request.
    I tried to create a client proxy and execute the method call, but it fails.  In SICF recorder, I found that the request that goes into the service does not contain the authentication token.  But in the SOAP UI tool when I input the WSDL file, it created a sample request, with authentication token in header section.
    But the proxy class generated in the system, contains a input structure, which does not have this authentication structure in it.
    Please guide me if there is any different method used to pass this authentication information.  The structure of authentication structure is
    <web:licenseKey>?</web:licenseKey>
            <web:password>?</web:password>
            <web:username>?</web:username>
    I thought that this authentication information should be given in settings of logical port.  But the logical port has only user name and password.  There is no place holder for License key.
    In summary: My query is that, there is no structure generated for SOAP header where I can pass authentication information, hence the request that goes into the service from SAP does not contain the authentication token.  This results in a error non-soap message/error type 500.
    Sample request that worked in SOAP UI tester is
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:web="http://webservices.smc.com">
       <soapenv:Header>
          <web:AuthenticationToken>
             <web:licenseKey>XYZA</web:licenseKey>
            <web:password>ABC123</web:password>
            <web:username>suresh<AT>gmail<DOT>com</web:username>
          </web:AuthenticationToken>
       </soapenv:Header>
       <soapenv:Body>
          <web:isReady/>
       </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    The request that goes out of the SAP system does not contain, the AuthenticationToken part.
    Thanks and best regards,
    Suresh.

    You would need to write a webservice handler for your physical data service to implement the security.

  • Adding Custom Header to SOAPMessage sent to external webservice

    Hi ,
    I want to append some payload and manifest elements to the soapmessage header when i am calling an external service using partner link.
    I have created a variable of type string and initialised the string with my elements below:
    <payloadManifest soapenv:actor="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/actor/next" so
    apenv:mustUnderstand="0" xmlns="http://www.starstandards.or/webservices/2003/12/
    transport">
    <manifest element="ProcessVehicleOrder" id="Content0" namespaceURI="http://ww
    w.starstandards.org/STAR" xmlns=""/>
    and this string I have assigned to the the InputHeader part of the adapter tab in the Invoke activity.
    Its removing the tags and displaying .
    Please provide me help on how to append custom header to the soapMessage.
    Its very urgent.
    Thanks in advance

  • Java code to connect to WSDL file with custom header

    Hi all,
    I am an absolute noob when it comes to Java. I need to write a Java app that can connect to a WSDL file with a custom header. Basically, all I need to do is connect to the web service and pass a username and password.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Better you use tools which can generate code(interface,proxy and stub classes) which can take care of calling all the WSDL defined methods..i generally use RAD not an open source as per OP use eclipse open source or netbeans which can do the trick

  • File server links in wiki pages

    Is there a way to insert links in wiki pages to files on the same server (rather than upload the file itself)?
    We have wikis and (afp) file shares on the same physical 10.6 server.
    Thanks!

    Having tested a few approaches, one that seems to work is to set up an FTP share that does not require login – that is, enable anonymous access to a 'public' ftp area. The permissions need be set to read-only or read/write to all, and files can be linked to in the following format from a wiki page:
    ftp://<servername>/<sharename>/<filename>
    While this works, it is not great from a security perspective – especially for internal wikis.

  • Custom header reading of bounce mail

    Hi,
    When I send a mail to invalid mail address on gmail server, form the bounce mail able to read the custom headers using javax.mail api.
    But when I send mail to invalid user on MS Exchange server, from the bounce mail I got, not able to read the custom headers using javax.mail. But the outlook shows (by looking at the option) the custom header is present. I think I may be missing some configuration while reading the mail from mail server using javax.mail. and not reading all the headers. (but its working with other email servers like gmail)

    First, you need to understand that it's up to the
    destination server what it returns, if anything, when
    you send a message to an invalid address.
    In this case, if sounds like the destination server has
    returned a message that includes all the headers
    you want to see, but you can only see them using
    Outlook and not when using JavaMail.
    Note that Outlook typically uses a Microsoft proprietary
    protocol to talk to Exchange, so it's possible for it to
    see and do things that are not possible using the
    standard internet protocols that JavaMail uses.
    You'll probably need to consult an Exchange expert
    to see if there are configuration options that control
    what information it makes available to internet
    protocol clients in this case.
