CV01N/CV02N/CV03N DMS to open Word .dot document. The macro is desabled.

Hello everyone
We have created a ".DOT" Word document containing (Visual Basic) commands to ask the user to enter 2 fields.
When that is done, the user can press on buttons to print or cancel.
We stored that document in the DMS (CV01N)
The document is working perfectly when it is opened from the OS.
But when it is open using the CV02N or CV03N the (Visual Basic) commands doesn't work. In fact the document is open but the macro, in the document, is not launched.
When we are trying to execute the Visual Basic commands, Word indicate that the macros are desabled by SAP at the openning of the document.
How can we specify to SAP to open the .dot document and enable the macros?

Check did u set Application type for change display print in Defin workstation application.

Hi Bhuwan
Go to SPRO>DMS>Control Data>Activate Browsers and ACLS.
Tick the relevant selection.
When you go to CV01N and press Button Select Document Via ( Ctrl + F7 ) you get new browser .You can togle between two browsers.

Finding the BOR for CV01n,CV02n,CV03n

Can anyone please tell me how can i find the BOR objects related to the transactions CV01n,CV02n,CV03n??

take help of the development class to which it belongs search criteria of BOR gives u specific to a development class.

Open Word docs with the new Pages?

Pages does not open. I had the new one installed but apparently had the old one still up. How can I open Word docs with the new Pages?

Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.01 can not open Pages 5.1 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5.1 files can not be opened in Pages 5.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

When attempting to "save as" a word document and selecting micrsoft word as the "save as type", it no longer will save it in a word icon document, the icon is just a blank document symbol and thus cannot email this document as before.

The resources defining the file formats which Pages may import or export are stored in the file :

Assuming that you didn't installed the Developer tools, go to my iDisk (address below)
Download :
Pref Setter.app.zip
Unpack the archive.
Open the file "Info.plist" with Pref Setter.
Open the entry entitled : CFBundleDocumentsTypes
Open the items 9, 10, 11, 12
The normal contents is :
Double check the parameters available for items 9 & 10.

Every time I open a second document the 1st one slides off the screen and I have to reopen everything. I want to view more than 1 document at the same time.

How can I view and work on more than one document at a time? I've never had a problem with this but suddenly every time I open a new document the 1st one slides over out of sight. How do I get that to stop?

Here is a screen shot of two documents open side by side. Drag the first document to the left of the screen. Open another document and drag it to the right of the screen.
I have not had an open document slide from view. Puzzling!

Download Open Office, Libre Office or Neo Office, all free, all open Word and Excel files
Buy iWork, Apples office suite, less compatible but excellent.

Can't open Word docx documents

When I try to open a docx document, my new mac opens Textedit instead of Word, and it is blank. My other Mac opens Word, but I think I had to download an update or something to make it work. What do I need to do?

Unable to Open Word Docs Unless the Word Application is Open

Hello All,
I recently switched from PC to Mac. I installed Office and when I attempt to open a Word Document I get the following message, "The operation could not be completed. An unexpected error occurred (error code 10660)"
I am able to open any Word document when Word is open.
Is this normal? On the PC all I needed to do was open a Word Doc and the Application opened automatically.

Select a Word document in the Finder, choose Get Info from the File menu, select Word under Open With, click on Change All, and confirm your action.

Time out when trying to open Word/Excel document from portal

Several of our users have been timing out when trying to open/download documents stored in our portal.
The error message is "Download failed. Connection to server was reset."
Is there some obvious setting that I am missing here?
It happens with things as small as 200K - Word and Excel documents.

How do you open Word Files on the 8330??

I can see the files on the card and open the music from the card, but it won't let me open the word files. Help!

Docs to go will be in the Opearting System of the BB device, not on the Desktop software.
Unless you have OS 4.5 you cannot read the doc from either the media card or the device memory

I cant open word excel documents in my playbook

i cant open doc xls docx xlsx documents in my playbook. any idea to solve this problem?

I found a VERY simple solution. Rename the file extension from .docx to .doc. You will be able to view it with no problem. The same should hold for .xlsx though I have not tried this yet.

When I want to open a PDF document The box that pops up asking if I want to open or save does not come up and it always saves. I need this changed.

When the window opens to ask if I want to save or not comes up it does so for WORD documents just fine, however, for PDF documents it never asks (it used to). Now it just automatically saves them without asking. I need this changed. I went into applications and changed the setting to always ask but it still is just saving, them no window pops up asking what I want firefox to do with the file like it does with a WORD document. IF I cannot get this resolved I will not be able to continue using firefox. I teach and I have students submitting articles etc in pdf format, I cannot constantly save all pdf files. I just want to open them, review them and then move on. There must be a way to change this so that the window asking what I want firfox to do with the pdf files opens.

Deleted it, restarted it. tried it again. no change. repeated the whole cycle. no change. thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling, but that won't reallyk change the settings.
