DAC Error: Connecting to integration service

Hi all,
I have followed all the steps as per the install guide. I went through the forum too but still have the below error. Able to connect to Repository successfully. But error while connecting to Integration service.
Failure connecting to "_______"

There is one small change in the config.bat file. in the set JAVA_HOME Instead of using the path "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_07" I have used "C:\orahome\10gR3_2\jdk" since it has no spaces.
I am not sure if there is any problem with this path since the DAC server and client are running properly.
Also, when I run
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>pmcmd pingservice -s HostName:6001
it gives error:

In environment variables - I have added Informatica bin paths and have also added INFA_DOMAINS_FILE.
I have read about the 2 EBFs for informatica to be extracted. Do I need them? I am using OBIApps 7.9.5 and Informatica 8.1.1.
Am not sure what is wrong now.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The integration service was running on a different port. Used the correct port and it was working.

Important Obeservation: When I am trying to connect the repository service from DAC it is connecting successfully.

Here is what you need to do... there are some gaps in the documentation for 7.9.6 with infa 8.6:
1) In infa 8.6 there is no repository and informatica server, instead you have repository service and integration service
2) make sure you note down the name of the repository service and integration service when you do the post install of the informatica install
3) when you try to register Infa repository in DAC, make sure you use the (hostname/services) as the name of the infa integration service,
and in repostory name use the name of the repository service and not Oracle_BI_DW_base....
if you still have errors upload or email ([email protected]) the DAC config screens

There´s no other information about the error. Test connection for repository is correct.
We have done the installation many times, restarted the computer, restarted informatica services, restarted DAC server, verified in the Powercenter Admin Console that both (integration and repository) services are up...
Days ago, we have succesfully installed Biapps 7.9.6.1 and loaded PeopleSoft 9.0 data, but now we are trying to load PeopleSoft 8.8 and we are obligued to uses Biapps 7.9.5.1, because 7.9.6.1 have no connection with PeopleSoft 8.8.

We have upgraded this repository to connect to it using DAC version 10.1.3.4.1 and we noticed that in Setup-Informatica Servers all the fields except Domain, had the values we entered using the previous version of DAC. This makes sense, because in the previous version of DAC (Biapps 7.9.5.1) you cannot enter the domain name.
If we try to connect to it without filling this field we get the same blank error. But if we fill it with the correct domain name the test ends succesfully. So if we could put the domain name in DAC Biapps 7.9.5.1 we might make it work.
Is there any place where you can put the domain name value in this version?
Does anyone know the table where this value is stored?

SSIS: To run a SSIS package outside of SQL Server Data Tools you must install SCR - DP1 Connections of Integration Services or higher

We have SSIS installed on a machine that is not part of a cluster but it is accessible by the cluster.
Our job we have running on the cluster is failing with the following error:
Error: 2014-01-31 09:14:37.52 Code: 0xC000F427 Source: SCR - DP1 Connections
Description: To run a SSIS package outside of SQL Server Data Tools you must install SCR - DP1 Connections of Integration Services or higher. End Error
Any advice or information on how to resolve this would be great.

Integration Services service is not a cluster-aware service, and does not support failover from one cluster node to another. Therefore, in a clustered environment, Integration Services should be installed and started as a stand-alone service on each node
in the cluster.
Based on the error message, it seems that SSIS is not installed on the cluster node on which the job was running. Although SSIS is installed on a machine that is not part of the cluster and can be accessed by each cluster node, the SSIS service installed
on a remote server cannot be used a cluster node. So, please install the shared feature SQL Server Integration Services on each cluster node. Besides, if certain packages need to run in 32-bit mode in certain jobs and the SQL Server installed is 64-bit version,
you also need to install BIDS/SSDT on the cluster node to get the 32-bit runtime of SSIS.

This info is not sufficient to tell the reason.
Check your domain logs in admin console and see the error messages. Post your domain logs
Make sure integration services is connected with repository and also the code page

Informatica work flow not connecting to integration service

Hi I am OBIEE admin, i am having the following error when i am trying to run workflow manually.

Do this:
Open Workflow manager or If it is already opened...then disconnect all the folders...
1. Click on the folder you want to connect
2. Go to 'Service' tab and select "Assign Integration Service"
3. This will open "Assign Integration Service" window from where you can choose the Integration Service and can assign the workflows or all workflows. Click "Assign" button to assign the selected Integration Service.
Now connect to the folder and you can run the workflows.

Gamecenter error: connecting to online services on call of duty black ops zombies for iOS.

So I got this new app 3 months ago called Black ops call of duty : zombies. And I LOVE it!! But every time I try to join an online game, wether it be map vote, single map, 2-4 players, restarting my phone... What happens is it takes me to the gamecenter connect page, where it connects me with another player, but after a few seconds, it takes me into the multiplayer lobby, and then pulls up a message saying "connecting to online services" and it does that for a minute before saying "error joining room" and makes me quit the online game, leaving the other person kicked off the server because the other person (me) left or was kicked, I do NOT want to jailbreak my iPhone for this problem, and I am very experienced with iPhones and other electronics, both apple and Microsoft, if there is anyone who knows how I can fix this problem WITHOUT jail breaking my phone or paying money.. (Maybe ill pay money, it depends...) then Please tell me! It has done this to me EVERYTIME for the past 3 months, and still does... So please help!

I don't think it's an issue on the phone. you may need to contact the app developer. Make sure that the app you are using is not associated on your game center account.

It's clears that when ISE tries to find the GC using the _gc._tcp. DNS query. It doesn't find that information on the Domain controller. The GC information is missing on the DC.
gc._tcp.DnsForestName
Allows a client to locate a Global Catalog (gc) server for this domain.

Hello Jerri,
Please follow these steps:
1.    Make sure that ISE can connect to the Global Catalog (by Default it is Domain Controller) on the following ports (see table below)
2.    Check Windows Event Viewer > System Events on your Domain Controller and locate any errors / warning. Note down Event ID
3.    If there are any errors, other client computers in your AD domain are likely to experience problems locating User groups, Printers etc.
4.    If the above steps are confirmed, then you need to fix .msdcs.ad-domain.xyz and the records, on your primary DNS (Master Domain Controller by default)
5.    To fix those records, you may refer to the following link for more guidance on how to do it. Or your Windows AD Administrator should fix it

Can't remote connect to Integration Services 2008 r2 with 2012 Management Studio

I am getting a Connect to Server error "Class not registered" followed by the trying to connect to 2005 information. It is not a named instance. I don't get the error when connecting with Management Studio 2008. Any ideas. Everything else is
all set up properly..

Register Integration service in DAC.

Hi all,
I am getting this message while trying to register the Informatica Integration Service in DAC. On the other hand the repository server registration is succcesful in DAC. I have the INFA_DOMAINS_FILE,INFA_HOME environmnet variables set already and the INTEGRATION and REPOSITORY services are up and running. I have added the Informatica/server/bin path to the PATH variables too.
I have entered the relational connection in workflow manager and assigned the integration services to workflows also. I have checked the port, Integration service seems t to be running on 4006 port. Can any one help please..

Unable to connect to Informatica Service

Hello all,
I installed the 'new' OBIEE Suite with OBI 10.1.3.3.3, OBI Apps 7.9.5 and Informatica powercenter 8.1.1 and I am facing following problem.
When I configure the connections to the informatica server in the DAC client and I test the connection, I am able to succesfully connect to the informatica repository but I fail to connect to the informatica server.
I added the path to pmcmd and pmrep to the Windows Path environment variable and I added a new variable INFA_DOMAINS_FILE which is pointed to the file which contains a description of the available domains.
I just get following error: Cannot connect to integration Service.
Can anyone please help me out?

I have checked the PMREP and PMCMD using window prompt which are working fine.

SSIS 2005 - Unable to access MSDB on Integration Services

Hi all
I have a little problem with my IS Server.
I am using IS 9.0.1399 (SSIS 2005).
I have one instance for databases.
I am able to connect to Integration Services just with the Servername (no Instance Name) and I see the folders in there.
When I try to open the MSDB Folder (under "Stored Packages") I get the following exeption:
"Login timeout expired
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections.
SQL Network Interfaces: Connection string is not valid [87]."
Any ideas??
