Dangerous temperature- solution please?

So I have recently started trying to game, and yes I'm trying it on my MacBook Air. I have no intention of getting another computer. I've been trying to use laptop fans to keep it cool, but I recently have used the iStat app while playing my games, and I realize I'm getting CPU temperatures of 90º+ C! I understand that these temperatures are life shortening, and would like to use this computer as long as possible. I don't want to stop my gaming either though, can someone please recommend some way of keeping the temperature in the safe range?

As you will see the column headed "Load" includes a lot of temps in the 88 to 95 celcius range.  The variation depends on a number of factors, including which processor and what tasks are being undertaken by the processor.
Hope this helps.
