the descriptions in my database panel are not displaying on the bindings tab the recordsets just abreviate to "reco" and when I expand a record set all I see is the llighting bolt
I want to be able to view full record set name and table names how do I do this ?

The first thing to do is to click the 'refresh' button on the r/h side of the databases panel.
If this does not work, look in the folder on your testing server where your php files are stored for a folder named - _mmServerScripts and delete it.
The file path would be something like - yourdrive - htdocs - sitefoldername - _mmServerScripts.
Close DW and then restart DW, and a new folder by that name will be created, along with the files that dreamweaver requires to communicate with the server, (warning - never alter the files in this folder). Should this not work then it may be a problem with your DW installation, php configuration or MySQL permissions.

Itunes 6 does not access the cddb gracenote data base any more

i have installed norton products, but changing the setting does not affect the status, i could not successfully update to itunes 6+ and the girl from apple said it has no major upgrade in it, but my grace note data base does not work any more, i get a yellow triangle and problem with http and stuff, so i changed to winamp for filing my music, though i believe, sound wise, itunes might be slightly better, but winamp is consumer friendly and whiskey bernstein in my case, the "momo" time thief gray of itunes is not a turn on, so does any one know what can happen to the cddb data access ? merci, henri

REPORT AND DATA BASE SETUP

i have been using CView Manager 11 to do my reports and is relatively easy to setup reports to the data base, but not all of my reports work with this program plus there is no user manual available. So I am trying to switch over to Chrystal Reports 11 with little success. I can not figure out how to setup the data base server with this program. I am trying to access the McKesson IntelliShelf Supply (Supply Scan) data base server. Is there anyone that can help me with this?

McKesson is an OEM partner of ours. I suggest you ask them how to.

How to insert data from different internal table into a data base table

hi all,
I want to insert a particular field in an internal table to a field in a data base table.Note that the fields in the internal table and database table are not of the same name since i need to insert data from different internal tables.can some one tell me how to do this?
in short i want to do something like the foll:

Data base oracle in SAP

Hi,
The combination of all dimension id's ideally make the primary(composite) key of the fact table.
it seems that there is a database restriction of 16 fields to be combined to make a joint primary key.
I heard that Oracle table join relation is the restriction of 16. I mean foregn key relations from a table ( fact table ) can not exceede 16. and thus we have 16 dimensions as the restriction..
It is ORacle limitation.. ( data base )
Any data base can not have more than 16 Fields as primary key in a table and hence 16 dimentions as MAX limit..for our facttable / cube.In database tables level we have only 16 primary keys, thats the reason why we hav 16 dimensions in infocube.
( remember oracle is the database we use for SAP ).

Yes, you understand the issue. Not sure about all the other DBs, I think they have 16 column index limits as well. Even if one of them would support more columns in the index, I doubt SAP would reengineer the BW to support them, until/unless that DB had a major portion of the BW installations.

When to refresh Servlet data from Data Base

Hello all,
I have a servlet that retrive few hundreds thousands records from data base table.
The data in data base table being updated once or twice in every week.
Since same servlet instance serve all users, that access the servlet many times a day.
I would like to avoid retriving the data from data base on each servlet access.
and make the users use same data already retrieved and kept in servlet members.
First, what is the best way to avoid data retrive from data base on each servlet access?
and how could I have some kind of trigger that will refresh servlet data from data base every few days?

My aol account was attacked. I had aol get rid of this and install some security. Everything worked great until I went to use my p6. Upon start up the data base could not be found and wanted to configure a new one.
I have been using this one since 2010 and so it has lots of files.
I use the PDPM Data and leave the log in with the admin default setting.
How can I connect to my data base so I can use the program again. It is 6.2.1

Can any one help me to configure the mysql table to enable user expiration to function, I have tryed most things, but not dates are being passed back to the data base from the form

Im trying to build user expiration into my registration form, but I cant get the form to send back the date registering.
in my data base i have tried every thing from timestamp to datetime. I can get a timestamp but it is not functioning with the expiration?

just have a look at my tutorial Login tables: installation & configuration where the required column attributes are explained and where you can obtain a fully functional SQL dump for a typical ADDT "login" and (optionally) "login_stats" table.
BTW, "expiration" will have to be an "int" column.

Quota Generation not happen's on Pro data basis .

1.Employee service 0 - 5 years - 24 Days entitlement
2.Employee service 5 - 10 years - 29 days entitlement.
when generating quota for employee less than five years its calculating correctly.when come's to employee more than 5 years its not calculating on pro-data basis of employee joining month. Instead of Month it's looking at the year and calculating it.

My apple TV ID is not recognised in Apples Data Base

I recently changed my Itunes account ID to a generic Gmail account in case I changed my internet provider in the future, after a few days I changed my apple TV ID to match it. Now it says "does not recognise this ID in its Data base". I have checked back and my apple ID is still the new one and apple have responded to that ID via Itunes downloads. The internet is working so is this a gmail address problem or an apple tv problem.

Custom field values are not storing in the data base

Hi Friends,
We have created one Custom field called ZZ_APPROVER in Rfx Header , we have included this field in the below stuctures
1.INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF_BID
2.INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF
The data type of this field ( ZZ_APPROVER ) is CHAR and the length is 1 . we have given 2 fixed values in Value Range
1 -
X+2 Approver
2 --- Provisional Approver
so when we select either 1 or 2 ( in Drop Down ), its displaying properly on RFx Screen, but when we try save this document the values are not strong in the data base.
Can any one give me idea why its not stroring in the data base

A Record is created in table BBP_PDHSC , for other z fields, the values are stroing , but for this field ( ZZ_APPROVER ) [ drop down list ], the value is not stroring

I am copying the DATA BASE from a old DATABASE.
Then i got an error like
Error: java.io.FileNotFoundException: JdbcCon.log (Permission denied)
J2EE Database is not available via test
i.e while i try to connect to the Java Visual Administrator by Command Prompt it shows the above error.
Can anyone suggest me to solve this problem.

Your Java engine is not up.
Check the log files under work directory.
Paste the log file here std_bootstrap and jvm_bootstrap files.

The data base DLL 'crdb_dao.dll' could not be loaded.

This has been posted in other threads but I've not seen a final resolution.
I used VS2008 to create an application that includes Crystal Reports and One Click in VS2008 to create a runtime system to distribute my application. The system installs and runs properly on a 32 bit system but fails to run on a 64 bit system. I get a message on the 64 bit system that says
The data base DLL 'crdb_dao.dll' could not be loaded.
I cannot find the crdb-dao.dll module on the 64 bit system but can find it on the 32 bit system. Can anyone tell me how to overcome this problem?

Hi John,
Moved to .NET Developer Forum. As noted in those other threads, there is no 64 bit version of the DAO driver. Your only option is to use ODBC or OLE DB.
No plans to create one because I don't Microsoft does NOT support their Access driver in 64 bit modes. See this Microsoft article on the history and supportability of DAO:

In this article it states:
There is no 64-bit version of the Jet Database Engine, the Jet OLEDB Driver, the Jet ODBC Drivers, or Jet DAO available. This is also documented in KB article 957570. On 64-bit versions of Windows, 32-bit Jet runs under the Windows WOW64 subsystem. For more information on WOW64, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa384249(VS.85).aspx. Native 64-bit applications cannot communicate with the 32-bit Jet drivers running in WOW64.
