Data Display in the Table Control

Hi All,
Please help me know how to fetch the data from the internal table in to the Table Control. I have defined the internal table with some fields and wrote the select query to fetch the records from database. But Iam unable to get the idea of how to pass the internal table records into the table control.
Your suggestion will be appreciated.

if your select query is first operation before the screen is displayed.
then write the select query in PBO.
in PBO
module select
loop at itab with control tc.
module transfer_itab_to_tc
endloop
in program.
module select
select query here and get the data.
endmodule
module transfer_itab_to_screen.
move-corresponding itab to t_tab " here t_tab is strucutre from where the fields on Table control has been taken

Postion of data record in the table control

Hi all,
I am working on a module pool that has a table control which fetches the data from the Transparent table.
Suppose there is data in the z-table formed and table control is showing the data record.
i want to text boxes besides the table control, one of which will show me the value index of top row of the record set and other one will show me the value of last row appearing in that page of the table control.
if i press page down then i should get new values in both the text boxes .
please help me to get an idea what vales i will take to show the indexes.

Thanks for you help.
i have used a value 'n' which is no of rows that are on the one page of the table control.
so when i do page down it will show me next values i.s values of the index currently on the table control next page.

Selecting records in the table control

Hi Friends,
I have the requirement to be displayed in the table control, I got the data displayed in the table control. Now I need to select some of the records from the table control and update in the database. When I am trying to do that i am able to select only one records instead of some number of records. When I try to select the second record the first record which i selected is being unselected. Can any one tell me how to select more than one record in the table control.

Hi
If your table control has a check box, your internal table should have a field for it. Its value will be X if the checkbox is setted else it'll be SPACE.
So in the PAI u should read only the records where that flag is X:
LOOP AT ITAB WHERE MARK = 'X'.

As gopi has suggested do the following..
for the table control properties u have an option called W/SelColumn.
Give in some name (ROW_SEL)to that and also include a field CHK in the internal which is being passed to the table control.
and in the PAI of the table control module wirte like this...

Not displaying the data in to the table..wht is the issue

I have problem for the displaying the RFC Model object date in to the table.
I have created the Table in the view, Then i have choosed the "create binding" option in the outLine window to map the perticular RFC model object to the Table to display. The data is not displaying in the table . But the RFC model object contains data. when i am trying to display with MessageMaganger.reporSuccess(). it is diplaying the data.
Can any one tell me what is the issue.

First, in your view layout in NWDS, look at the tableview, do you see fieldnames in the columns and rows. If so, then I believe that you have bound correctly.    Also, in your executeBAPI method, make sure that it looks something like this.

I think there is no need to put chain endchain.
To do validation you have to write module in PAI which does required validations.

Modify data in the table control

hello:
i would like to ask a favor , i am working with a table control (it already has the information i need) all the fields all my table control are present in output form only, but i need when the user press a pushbutton to modify a specific data one of the cell of the table control permit to be change.
my output is:
field1 field2 field3   (only output )
if the user press the button 'CHANGE DATA' it will be present as
field1 field2 fiel3(ready to recibe new data ).
but i don´t know how to do it, if somebody knows how to do it

Problem with displaying Date field in the table.

Hi All,
I am trying to display data into a table UI Element.
In that data, i have one DATE type field. While displaying data in DATE field, it will display like this "01.02.2009".
Now my requirement is if i want to modify that DATE field, it will allow to modify "01.02.2009" to "26.02.2009".
But while modifying DATE field , I want to show the Calender of that month, in that i have to select the another date.
(Like normal Date UI Element will show that calender).
Can anyone please help me.

Go to the context attribute that was mapped to the DATE field of the table and change the perperty INPUT HELP MODE to AUTOMATIC and it works.

Problem while displaying all the table names from a MS Access Data Source.

I started preparing a small Database application. I want to display all the Table Names which are in the 'MS Access' Data Source.
I started to executing by "Select * from Tab" as if in SQL.
But i got an error saying that "Not able to resolve Symbol 'Tab' in the query".
Please let me know how can i display all the table Names in the MS Access Dats Source.
