how can i present data like :
deptname : sales
employees table
deptname : managment
employees table
in the same page like a report ?

is see the FOP. its good but i want how jdeveloper can present the data like
master
detail
master
detail
example : you can use (master form , table detail) but this show one master record.

    looks like I need to add multiple queries to the reports
    Apex-->Application-->Shared Componets --> Report Queries -- Create New
    and I can get result in <ROWSET1> <ROWSET2> etc.. I actually need the xml data in above format. Is it possible?

  • Report Server 2008 R2 incorrect Data in Report (Matrix)

    Hi,
    i try to build a report based on a stored procedure.
    Query returns data like:
    The Matrix should show data per EmplID and FOSGRP (Rows) and per BaseType Column.
    But the matrix shows data like this (eLearning and ILT are different Basetypes). Rows and Columns are correct but not the values, the are completly wrong, as you can see in the image above.
    Matrix shows data like this:
    The correct Totals should be eLearning = 11.01, ILT = 12. Where are the wrong Values come from?
    Total on FOSGRP.
    The matrix contains 2 rowgrouping 1. per Emplid, 2. per FOSGRP and 1 Column Group per BaseType (contains elearning/ILT).
    I tried out as well with a table object and it shows as well wrong numbers.
    Whats going wrong here? Wy is SSRS doing calculations on the detail data?
    The RawData returned from the query works fine in Excel Pivot, its doing the correct Totals

    According to your description, you have a store procedure to retrieve data from database. Now you find the data displayed in matrix was different from the records returned from query. Right?
    In this scenario, your report design was correct. In Reporting Services, if it only returns 4 rows in Query Builder, it supposed to show the same records in the report. Based on your second picture, it seems has other records for
    the EmployeeID so that the TotalCredit is not correct. Please try to execute the query in both Query Builder and SQL Server Management Studio. Check if they return same records. As we tested in our local environment, it works properly. Here are screenshots:
    If you can't get the same records in those two environment, please restart the Report Server in Reporting Services Configuration Manager.

    Can anyone help me out what is the process of writing a log file in the XML Data Source Report. for eg: in Plsql we use FND_LOG.PUT_LINE to print the Log message in the Concurrent Request Output. in the similar manner, when we develop a report using XML, where we write Coding in XQuery of XML, what is the process need to follow to print the logs for the XQuery.
    Any inputs/Suggestion on this Highly appreciable.

    Create an RMI application (for example) that writes the log, and let all logging calls call that remote application.
    Something like that is the only feasible way that doesn't require you to have a drive on the remote machine mapped to the local one (which causes its own problems as you could have multiple simultaneous write attempts...).

    RBKP is the Invoice(vendor) header Table
    RSEG is the item table
    <b>Join RBKP and RSEG and link the RSEg EBELn and EBELP fields with the EKBE table</b>
    VTTK is the Shipment Header table and VTTP is the Item table
    VTTP has VBELN (DElivery Field) Like this like:
    Take the  EKKN (po Account assignment) -VBELN field(Sales Order) and POSNR (item) fields and pass to LIPS  to get the delivery which is nothing but the VTTP delivery.
    VTTP-VBELN pass to LIPS, take VGBEL and VGPOS (sales Order details) and pass them to EKKN Table and Take the PO and Item details.

  • Need to show Previous months data in report

    Hi All,
    I have a crystal report 2011 which shows monthly Cash data. It has 3 other columns like Previous 3 months cash data, previous 6 months cash data, Previous 12 months cash data in report.
    My report also has two parameters- start date and end date. If I give Start date as 1/1/2012 and end date as 12/31/2013 (two years date range) then correct data comes in all columns and for 2013 year, correct data is coming for Previous 12 months column. But if I give only one month date range like start date as 1/1/2013 and end date as 01/31/2013, then it is not showing correct data for these 3 columns - Previous 3 months cash data, previous 6 months cash data, Previous 12 months cash data. Ideally as per requirement, it should calculate previous months data regardless of parameter values and put data in respective columns.
    Any help/suggestion? Any trick which can help me to show correct data in all columns no matter what date range or months I am taking in parameters.
    Is it mandatory to have previous 12 Months data in report to calculate column-Previous 12 months Cash data?

    Hi Remi,
    You can try like this:
    I have given a some suggestions i.e You just take one parameter only because u can imagine 3 columns previous data display correctly i.e From Date
    Month parameter is also a alternate option.
    For Ex: Column1: From Date - 90 Days/3 Months  - we get the three months previous data correctly etc.
    Finally, create a stored procedure that returns the required columns and does all the calculations on the database side.
    Follow abhilash suggestion as well.

  • Scaling Data on report BPC 10.0

    I would like to know if anyone had solve the problem on ScalingData. On our latest version (7.5) we had a drop-down list (€, K€, M€) which changed my entire report. In the new version I can't find a similar way, the ScalingData function doesn't allow you to perform it on the entire report.
    Is there a way to manage scaling data like the currency ?

    Hi,
    there is, but it is a bit hidden ....
    step 1: use the SCALING property in the account dimension to identify the accounts you want to scale (Y) versus those you do not want to scale (N). For example you probably would not want to scale number of employees etc.
    step 2: use the EPMSCALEDATA function in a report. The easiest way I have found to use this on the entire report is to use it via the formatting sheet.
    on the formatting sheet, go to the use cell, the example uses the default colum format
    double click and select & highlight content only
    select the override option on the right and enter your empscale data function
    confirm with the override button below.
    the formatting sheet should now look something like this
    cell c2 on the report sheet has the factor as a number such as 1, 1000, etc., cell d5 is the first column header and c6 the first row header. this is what the report for this example looks like
    As you can see, the empscaledata function has been inserted into every data cell of the report.

  • Problem with Save data with report

    Hi,
    I am new to CR and using Crystal Reports XI with SQL Server 2000.
    I'm not able to remove the saved data in a report. I have played around different options, but unfortunately I'm not able to remove the data. I have checked variouse places in web above this issue not able to find a solution, so decided to open a new post. The problem is :
    I have created a simple report and saved with-out data (1st version) the file size was 16KB. After few changes I have saved the same report with Data, the file size become 1065 KB. Its perfect and I can view the report in Report Viewer. Great Stuff!. Now the Testing completed, I would like to move this report to production environment, I notice that I'm unable to remove the data. I have played around various tricks like below, but it didnt work well.
    Trick 1:
    Uncheck: File->Options->Reporting (tab)->Save Data With Report.
    Check: File -> Options -> Reporting (tab)->Discard Saved data on Open,
    Uncheck: file-> Report Options -> Save Data With Report.
    File -> Save Data with Report (Not selected)
    Opened the report and try "save" and also tried "save as", still the size is 1065.
    Trick 2:
    I enabled all "Save Data with report" feature. Deleted all the rows in the table related to the query, previewed the report and Saved the report with "Save Data with report" featuer. But now, the funny part happen, the file size increased to 1070kb, instead of reducing. Worst Stuff!!!
    Trick 3:
    Updated the latest version of Patch and tried above tricks, still i'm not able to remove the data.
    Appreciate, if you could help me to fix the problem.

    How can we get fbl3n data in report?
    My requirement is, i provide just 3 G/L accounts in fbl3n and a range of posting date.
    Output of fbl3n i.e. those doc nos which had a posting aainst this g/l are required for further selection from bseg.

    At this case you have several option like adding restricted key figures, BEx variables etc.

Can I use measure formula feature like onchange to work with Uploadable and Data colection reports such that changes to any one column should take effect in another column.

    IOP uploadable reports are used for sending data to the server in batch. They are coupled to the IOP model via a rowsource. You have a lot of flexibility with the spreadsheet you build for staging the upload. It's really just a function of how crafty you are with vb. Cascading changes from one column to another can be easily accomplished this way.
    Onchange formulas are for something else. They are part of the model definition and are used for describing how to cascade changes between IOP data blocks.

    I am new to Data Modeler and I am currently learning what I can do and can't with it. Is there a way to generate a "Data Dictionary" report? We would like a report we can distribute that describes all tables and columns with descriptions and comments. We used to use an old version of Power Designer and we could do this from the data model we created. Is it possible to do something like this from SQL Developer Datas Modeler?

    Saxon is just an option, you don't need it by default.
    Could be permissions problem. What are you working on i.e. OS? What java version do you use?
    Even though you have specified directory for the reports do you have permissions to write there?
    Report generation directories priority is:
    1. Custom directory if specified in Settings->Data Modeler->Default Reports Directory
    2. /datamodeler/reports/
    3. User home directory
    You must have permissions somewhere on these directories. On the other hand you are saying that report_data.xml is generated so you have permissions.
    Okay. Now I saw a bug in 710. When you click "Generate report" there are progress dialogs and result dialog, but if you meanwhile click somewhere or change focus, these dialogs are hiding below main "Reports" dialog i.e. you are not seeing them. If you use Alt+Tab the result dialog will popup. This bug is fixed in the next release.
    So you must see either result dialog or error dialog at the end of report generation. If not check with Alt+Tab if it is not hidden somewhere below and if there is no such dialog close the DataModeler and check the log file for some error.
    There is SQL Developer Data Modeler 3.3 Early Adopter Available.

    Above issue is fixed there and report is opening automatically.

  • Tree like report

    I have a view which returns holding data in a parent-child hierarchy.

    level
    I looked at creating hierarchy and go through “Connect By” example from the Admin manual, but it seems like I already have parent/child structure returned from my DB View.
    How can I create a tree like report? Is it possible?

    If you have the tree level in your report you can create a tree like report by using the LPAD function to add spaces in front of your data. eg.

    I load coorectly my InfoCube but I don't know how to activate my requests for reporting in BW.
    We don't have a press bouton 'Activate' like when we want to activate data for reporting in DSO.

        Welcome to BI. Activation is only used in standard DSOs which have 3 tables :new ,change log and active. When data is loaded into a DSO, it is loaded into the new table. Activation is performed to move this data to the change log and active tables.

    You do not require activation for infocubes or write optimsed DSOs.
    Data is automatically available for reporting when you load a request into an infocube.

  • No data through report bursting using publication

    I am new in SAP BO, I am trying to send Webi 4.0 report to enterprise users using email in excel (zip) format, There is 1 report which is working fine on the same universe and I am able to receive in excel in my email inbox, however another report with different fields is coming with no data (12kb of excel file), when I run the same in Webi with same prompt values, it works fine.
    Earlier I was facing different issue where I found that optional prompt was not supplied and it was throwing error, when I removed optional fields then it worked. Not sure whether it was issue with optional prompt or something else. It has become bottleneck of my deliverables, Can anyone share his experience on this.

    Yes, I refreshed report in Webi (IE Browser) and it works fine, when I scheduled it with same prompt values, it returned no data, I can see all sheets (same as Webi) but no data in it.
    I have filter as given below, which works fine as well when I run the report in Webi, and I have Matches Pattern prompt with pre-defined default value which actually works when I run it:

    SQL expression is also validated. Similar filter I have in another report which is working in publication but that is on different calendar field with same data type.
    Prompt values are also preserving (when I open the prompt in Publication post saving), In my earlier issue, it was not preserving, there I wrote "Persistent" as "persistent", when I changed it, it worked.
    Some time I see "null" error when I open report through Desktop Webi. But most of the time it works.
    Hope this might be helpful to give you some clue on this issue.
