Data printed incorrectly on the second page of smartform

Hi all,
I need to create a smartform where I have to print the header details at the start and then below that details for all line items for a particular document.
so i have data ;ike :
Header data :
field 1 : field 2:
Field3 : field4:
field5: field6:
Item data :
field1 field2 field3 field4 --> Item 1
field1 field2 field3 field4 -->Item 2
field 1 field2 field3 field4 -->Item3
For the Header data,Im planning to use a template in a secondary window.
However for the item data,i need to use a table (As i know the no of records only at runtime). Also another reason for usng table would be that I dont need the header on each flloowing page but only the Line item details on the following pages.
However I am facing an issue now:
At the end of the first page,2 fields of the line item data are printing and the remaining 2 fields are printing on the next page BUT after the 1st row !
Can anyone suggest why this is happening?

probably a difference in height between the 2 columns of the left and of the right (check paragraph and character formats, cell margins, borders, etc.)

Now i have created a second page with only the MAIN window from the First page as I need only the  remaining line item details  to be continued/printed on the following pages.I have actually copied the MIAN WINDOW from the first page to the second page adjusting only the  uppe rand left margin.
However now when i see the rpint preview.the 1st page data,is printed corrrectly.however on the 2nd page, the 1st record is printed twice.
Can anyone explan why is this happening?

is the first page completely filled with data or do you always want to print the second page no matter if there is an overflow or not ?
so you have defined a new page like 'NEXT' .
then in the 'FIRST' page create an event and a command and check next page.

  • Fillable form will not print the second page

I have created a fillable two-page Acrobat form using Adobe InDesign.  Everything appears to be okay with the form, except that the second page does not print.  The first page prints okay, but the second page exits as a blank page without content from the form or the user-entered data.

For Macintosh the AdobeViewer Plugins does not function and Hasn't since Acrobat 8. Adobe has no intention of fixing  it, I received a nasty reply:  what feature do you want removed in order fix the problem.  Its not worth it and we have no intention of ever fixing it. However its shipped and installed on the Mac version
The only PDF Plugin that works  is PDFBrowser Plugin by Schubert of Germany, and it appears he has discontined updating although Thankfully It works in OSX.8  with most mdern Updates.  You can Only fill out forms by opening Chrome, iCab , and OperaNext only Safari doesn't work and any product using the Gecko Rendering engine (Mozilla Products , FireFox and SeaMonkey  Form Fields don't work or crash the browser. • Print the the data in the second page

    Hi.
In my report I have two repeating frames. I my layout editior i have the first one and then the second one. I want to print the second repeating frame from the first line of the second page onwards. I tried the properties of the repeating frame (page break before) and that works but it doesn't print from the begining of the page.
How to print it from the begining. Any Suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Priyabrata

Sorry, I assumed they were one above the other. If they are nested, then I see two possibilities ...
    1. the first repeating frame doesn't normally appear at the top of the page either. in this case, you need to anchor that frame to a frame for all the objects above it so it will move up.
    2. the space for the objects inside the first repeating frame is being reserved on subsequent pages. in this case, create a new frame around all the objects inside the first frame that are above the second frame. then anchor the second frame to that new one. alternatively, you could probably set the new frames vertically elasticity to variable.

  • First group of the first sub report begins to be printed on the second page.

All of the following check boxes are unchecked:
ReportProperties -> Respect Keep Group Together On First Page
Group Options -> Keep Group Together
Section expert - all sections of the report and sub reports -> Keep Group Together
Is there any other thing I missed that will determine Crystal Reports to begin printing the first group on the second page?
    Thanks, G

I did following and it worked for me-
Right click sub report in the main report. In format subreport uncheck Keep Together.

  • Shifting from the second page printed

    hi,
    I create a report with reports10g .
the size of the output paper is 15.2 * 21 cm. the papers used are continuous paper with matrix printer .
I have a problem shifting from the second page printed.
    how to solve this problem?
    thank you in advance

Hey Tom - sorry I failed to mention I did try powering off and on, and then the reset as you suggested.  It still does the same thing.

  • How to let the data appears at the beginning of the second page?

    Hi All,
I've created a form-like report and it's layout model is like this:
You can see parent repeating frame number 1 and child number 2 in red
suppose that the normal frame containing f1 is suffused by fields within repeating frame 1
If I run the report the first page will appear normally, but the second page the field f2 will not appear at the beginning of it. I want the field f2 appearing at the beginning of page 2 because there is a blank space at the beginning of it.

give the property of the fiield f2 --> print object on -- All Pages.
and give the property of field F_2 and child repeating Frame property --> vertical elasticity -- variable

  • Oracle Reports -- printing 1/3 the way down the second page.

I modifying an Oracle Report that outputs a rtf-formmated word doc. When things go to the second page (because things on the first page have fully occupied the first page), they always appear 1/3 down the page. I would like them to be close to the top of the page as possible. Does anybody have any suggestions or ideas on how this should work?
    thanks

  • I have a LaserJet Pro P1606dn - the second page prints upside down when using the duplex print optio

Operating system Windows 7 32 bit.  I have re-installed the printer an I have downloaded and applied the most recent drivers from the HP site.  The built in set-up shows the settings correctly as duplex on and bind on the long edge but the second page continues to print upside down i.e. it seems to always print as binding on the top edge.
However when I print from my iPad via Airprint the duplex print works perfectly!

IF you are using a printer with 2-sided printing, in the expanded print dialog you will have a selection for long-edge binding OR short-edge binding. Whichever setting you have set, switch to the other one.

  • Blank first page and chart printing on the second page

I have a subreport in my report footer that displays a chart.  The detail section is suppressed in the main report.  For some reason the chart displays on the second page of the report and the first page is blank except for the report header and page footer.  In the section expert the 'new page after' box is checked and grayed out so I can't remove the check to see if that solves the problem.  I've never been particularly skilled in regards to reporting and in addition it's been quite a few months since I've even worked on a report.  I'm using Crystal XI. Can anyone provide suggestions on where I might look to solve this problem.
