Datacopy problem - Next Year and Shift Function

Hi! I am trying to get my datacopy function to work the way I want to. I am basically trying to restore a scenario and version with data from a different scenario and version. The user is allowed to select (run-time prompt) what year he wants to use for the source. The destination is always a fixed year determined by a substitution variable. There's nothing wrong with your code or tuxedo. tpcall (and tpgetrply) can change the address of the return buffer if it needs to allocate more memory to hold the data. This is the reason why you pass a pointer to the buffer as the output buffer parameter to tpcall and tpreturn. Everything is working as expected.

I am 13 but going into high school next year and possibly an elite boarding school that is 9 hours away from my town. I need to get a mac air for school purposes.How can convince my parents to let me get one?

My house has always had macs and my parents don't like pcs. I don't either. They are slow and so far behind from macs. So i am going into high schoo next year and parents don't let me on the computer without asking and have them all password protected. I did have my own ibook g4 but it broke randomly. My mom says i will isolate myself from too much scree time and get depressed but i love macs and i would like to work in an apple store someday but i'm not even allowed to buy my own ipod touch with my own money. I really do not want to enter a family discussion about what you should or should not have. If the MBA is to support your school work then you need to present your arguments on that point. If there is a concern about using a Mac when the school supports PCs then point out a Mac can also use Windows on a BootCamp partition so it is fully compatible with both systems.

Getting about $3000 a day in iTunes charges I didn't make can't get history to pull up and can't reach a apple person, scheduled the next available call but it's the 2nd of next year and about 20,000 more dollars from, now went to the iTunes Store no help

My iTunes account is hooked to my debit card and I have thousands of dollars per day coming out of my bank account. I emailed apple several times to get a history so I can find out what the heck is going on and each time I get a generic message followed by a email with a bunch of links telling me how to access my iTunes history. I attempt to do this and I get a message stating iTunes can not be reached. So I go down to my local apple store and am told it's because I did not have wifi, they hook my phone to the apple store wifi and tell me they show no charges. Yet I'm down approximately $12,000 so far and climbing. I call my bank and cancel my debit card and attempt to contact apple again via a link they sent me to schedule a call. When I schedule the call it gives me a message that we are sorry we are unable to schedule a call for you please try again later, I try a future time and date and manage to schedule a telephone call for the second of next year. Is there anyway to access what the **** is going on with my iTunes account in the meantime? Apple doesn't seem to be able to see the charges I just see them on my bank side.
And help is appreciated.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

EHP4 upgrade next year and configuration of our US company this year

We have planned to upgrade our ECC6 HRSP27 environment to EHP4 next
year.
We also need to start the configuration of our US subsidiary as
soon as possible. Our US project includes all HR modules (PA, PD,
OM...) including an SAP Payroll and ESS, MSS functionalities.
Can we start configuring our US company and start working on data migration this year, in our current version (ECC6 HRSP27), without having to manage upgrade impacts next year?
If yes, what part of our US project development shouldn't start before the EHP4 upgrade has been
done (for instance benefits, e-recruiting....), and what part of the configuration can start now (for instance personal file and payroll configuration) and can we work on the whole data migration process or do we have to wait or split it into batches?
Your objectives are to deliver the US company as soon as possible after the EPH4 upgrade (which means to start the configuration as soon as possible), and not having to manage upgrade impacts on the configuration of the US company (it means not configuring modules and submodules that may be impacted by EHP4 before the upgrade as been donne).

Rotate and Shift 16-bit Image

I would like to rotate and shift a 16-bit RGB image (U64 in LabVIEW). The IMAQ rotate and shift functions don't accept this image type, but they do accept a 16-bit grayscale image (I16 in LabVIEW). Unfortunately, this clips all values in my original image since it runs from -32,767 to + 32,767. The ExtractColorPlanes function requires a 16-bit image to be wired as the desination image but the IMAQ create VI does not allow U16 image to be created.
Any ideas?

IMAQ Create can create U16 images, but the standard Image Type input lack the appropriate value. This is bug n°1 . As workaround, you can either wire directly a con,stant with value 7 or dig into the Vision palettes and get a better typed constant from the IMAQ Cast Image VI.
However, this is not the solution to your problem, since there is the n°2 bug in the IMAQ ExtractSingleColorPlane VI : it doesn't accept U16 or U64 as destination images, and coerce the output to a I16 default image type.
A workaround is to create your own color plane extraction function. First convert the U64 image into an array, then extract the desired plane, as shown on the diagram below.

Copy and paste function not stable

i have problems using copy and paste function. the copied stuff SOMETIMES would not paste after i either Ctrl + C or right click to copy the stuff. does anyone here experience the same problem or have the solution? thanks in advance.

you might want to check whether you can copy the contents or not.. try to use the copy and paste function by right click the mouse to test..

What iphone 5 uk network should I go with if I move to USA next year?

never posted before so please be kind!
I currently live in the uk and I am due an upgrade from my iphone 4. I am on the O2 network and want the new Iphone 5. However I am moving to USA (for good) next year and I am concerned over LTE/4G and picking the right model. Will it matter? any information would be greatly appreciated as I dont want to comit to the iphone 5 here if I wont be able to unlock it for use in America. Thanks in advance!

UK and USA iPhone 5 models are incompatible as far as LTE frequencies go. What you purchase in the UK will not work in the US because everything is different.
The UK sells unlocked iPhones but the US does not and you are tied into a 2 year contract, so my advice would be to wait until you move to the States next year and purchase a new iPhone 5 there and they may even be selling unlocked iPhones by then or you can take out a 2 year contract with either Sprint, AT&T or Verizon.
Don't upgrade on 02 if you are moving as it won't be worth it. Stick with what you have go until next year because they are just not compatible.

BT Openreach have indeed announced that they plan to increase the maximum speed by increasing the frequency range the they use for VDSL from a maximum of 7MHz to 17MHz which does allow for very high speeds potentially over 100MHz but Openreach will limit the service to 80Mb/sec. However as now the speed you get depends on the length and condition of your line to the cabinet and VDSL is not a long distance technology. There is a second technical change they plan later when they introduce something called "vectoring" which will give a second boost to a marketed speed of up to 100 Mb/sec.
What we don't know is what BT Retail will offer, they could charge a premium for the faster speed, give it to us free or decide to limit their offering to 40Mb/sec with a greater certainity that more customers will get that speed. They have said nothing.

Wait and purchase the whole phone from India if you are going to be permanently based there. There are no usage restrictions in the same way that there are in Saudi.

I am havign huge problems getting itunes 11.1.4 working on my windows 7 laptop. I have run itunes for some years, and regularly updated it when prompted. I have followed many of the suggestions e.g. uninstalling reinstalling, etc

I have spent hours trying to get itunes working on my laptop.
The only functinoality I crave is to be able to get pictures off my iphone 5 (which has the latest ios installed.), as almost all other functinoality of itunes I find painful beyond belief. It has the worst ergonomics I think of any software I have ever used, which is bizarely at odds with the mobile decvices, which by and large work quite nicely (indeed, why I bought them!)
My laptop runs windows 7. It has all the latest microsoft updates installed (I am religious about this: it always has had.)
I have run itunes on this machine for some years, regularly updating when I am prompted to.
A few days back i was prompted to update to 11.1.4
It failed to install badly. whatever I try at some point during the install process the installer just hangs, or never terminates.
All communication between computer and iphone functionality has been lost.
Nothing eles on my machine is behaving oddly. slowly etc. it is only apple stuff that isn't working.
I googled and found a lot of recurring themes on apple forums:
So far I have tried:
uninstalling / reinstalling. (hangs during installation).
Restarting the machine between uninstall and reinstall.
Searching and removing any directories/ contents related to apple, after the uninstall, prior to machine reboot.
I have even used iobit uninstaller, as removing apple software as you know is almost impossible (ever tried disabbling the quicktime updater that runs at startup? it's like a virus !!)
I have removed all apple software incl quicktime.
I have tried the microsoft software installer fixit link often posted to.
i have tried unpacking the apple installation file, using the latest version of winrar, to try installing one at a time.
I have found the installation is very very very slow (it looks as though it hangs, but i leave it running in the background, after 15-20 minutes, the status starts advancing for example). so far I have managed to install the first few components up to applesoftware update,msi, and they seem to need to be run multiple times.
(this last one took about 40 minutes).
I have been very careful to install / uninstall the software components int eh "prescribed" order.
I have tried each step multiple times, rebooting the machine numerous times, cleaning temp folders (with ccleaner) etc.
I ave tried installing when my virus checker AVG is disabled.
(i have virus checked the machine with AVG and malware bytes, I have the latest microsft security essential updates installed.)
I ahve tried stopping apple services (as suggested in one of the apple forum posts).
As you can gather I'm seriously tearing my hair out.
I presume there is some kind of generic bug in this installer: as a friend had exactly the same problem on sunday night, with a different machine, running windows 7, and a couple of her colleagues at work has had the self same problem over the weekend, though none of them seem to have gone to the lengths I have yet !
I tried doing a system restore, but my machine seems to have lunched all previous system restore points, so I can't . Arrrrrgggg !
Is an older version of itunes available so i can install that instead ?
What should I do next ?

Date Picker with Previous and Next Year Options

Hi All,
I am implementing a date picker in my application which is tied to an attribute of type PA0001-BEGDA. Date Picker as such works fine but navigating to previous year and Next year options are not available. User has to go month by month to different years if they have to navigate.
Is this the normal behavior of the Date Picker or am I missing something else to get the previous and Next year icons in the Date Picker.

hmm..I tried using the select options and it did give the same date picker with the previous and Next navigation icons...The only problem with the select options is that its a single field which has the range and can accept multiple values too...
I tried to figure out how the date picker that we use in the custom application and the one in Select Options differ but no luck...Does this ring any bell?

Todate and AGO function in both Fiscal yer and Calendat year

I want to create report having column with Todate and ago function formulas. I have to display the facts both in fiscal year and calendar year... how to do this? What value shall i choose in the content tab for the time dimension in this case? My fact table has values for each day...
I am able to display only columns with fiscal year in time series function with timeDim.fiscal_year... similarly only calendar year with time seriese with calendar year columns... In my hierarchy, I have two branches for Time Dim...one is Fiscal and other is Calendar... and they both are at same level

I have an answer for you...Since you have a correctly defined time dimension (with branches - Fiscal Year->Fiscal Qtr ->Fiscal Month->Fiscal Week and Calendar Year->Cal Qtr->Cal Month->Cal Week->Cal that I assume have the common Child level - Day...) - you should have no problem building time-series logical columns
In TODATE and AGO you must use relevant Time Dim Level - for example:
AGO (Column, TimeDim.FiscalYear, 1) = would give you data for previous fiscal year
AGO (Column, TimeDim.CalYear, 1) = would give you data for previous calendar year
same goes for qtrs, months, weeks
If you want to take it to the lowest level Day - it won't matter if you pick Fiscal or Calendar since it's essentially the same.
