DataElement Package check error

Hi,
I am creating a structure in package b,using a data element defined in package a,when i activate the structure,i get an error saying the datalement of package A is not visible.
How do i solve this problem?
regards
kaushik

Here is the documentation.
<i>Package Interface
A package interface is a subset of the visible development elements of a Pakets package that are visible externally. A package interface can also contain development elements of a subpackage if they are included in a package interface of the subpackage.
A Paket package can contain any number of package interface; a development element can occur in several interfaces at once.
The package check allows development objects to use the development elements visible in a package interface of another Pakets package only after you have created a use access.</i>
So you have to change the package 'a' and provide the use access there to 'b'.

  • Package check Error while activiating Append Structure

    Hi All,
I have created an Append Structure for the Table HRP5136. When i am trying to activate the Append Structure the error "DDIC object TABL ZZHRS_EXTENDOFFER has package check errors" is thrown.
How do i resolve this? Any input on this will be of great help.
Thanks very much for your time

    Hi,
You r doing enhancements to the table .
when ever u do any changes u need to give the package name.
So find the package name of that table as follows.
In the tables screen itself click on system-> status .
there u will get the package name . give that name when u r activating the table.

  • Proxy Activity terminated because errors occurred during package checks

    Hi,
When i am activating the client proxy class in ECC system after assigning it to the package,i am getting the below error. With local object($TMP) its working fine. I tried creating package using se80 as well as from sm30 using view V_TDEVC also and the package is created with no restrictions also .Kindly suggest what needs to be done to fix the issue.
Activity terminated because errors occurred during package checks
    Message no. EU839
    Diagnosis
Dictionary objects can only be activated if the package check is swithch ed on - provided they do not contain any package check errors.
You will receive a list of the package check errors if you execute the package check within the appropriate dictionary tool. To do this, use the respective menu entry in the first menu of theen; corresponding dictionary tool.
    Procedure
Keep note of the setting for the package check (system-wide property) in your SAP System; this setting defines in which form the package concept is to be applied.
In particular, check whether the package in which the incorrect dictionary object is located has sufficient usage applications. Then, if necessary, create the missing usage applications.
As soon as the package check errors have been removed, you must again activate the dictionary object.
    Thnx,
    Goutham

    Regards

    Hi
When you use an object from another package then you have to add that package name in use access list of your package( available as a tab when you click on package ).
    Concept is something like this-
You create objects in your package and expose them for use in another package by creating package interfaces
Other package who are using these objects will add these interfaces in their package use access list.
For your problem you need to add the relevant intrerface ( SWDP_RUNTIME_EXCEPTIONS) in your package ZAA use access list.
    Hope this helps.

  • Update kernel and recieved a "Machine check error"

I was on Vacation this last weekend but was finally able to update today. Upgrade seemd fine, issued reboot command and instead of my normal reboot I was greeted with "machine check error" flashing in my upper left hand corner. Syslinux never came up. I powered off manually and pulled the battery, subsequent reboot went off without a hitch.

I have never seen this error and my googlefu return issues with overclocking which I am not doing. Any info on the subject I'd love to hear.
    Cheers.
EDIT: Was only happening when issuing 'systemctl reboot' so I switched back to 3.10.10-1-ARCH and reboot command now works.

Well, I can tell you that this kind of error is not OS related, but rather a HW thing.  It happens where there is a general detection of something going wrong.  Sometimes it can happen randomly and might not be an indication of a problem.  But sometimes it can be caused by things that are improperly functioning within the system like bad capacitors.
Unfortunately I don't really know what to do about such things except give you machine a proper inspection.  But if things are working fine, and continue to do so, I wouldn't worry about it.  If it becomes a regular occurance, then I'd worry.

  • Failed to load Execute Package Task error.

    Hello Experts,
    Excuse my newbie question.
Execute Package Task: Error: The task has failed to load. The contact information for the task is "Microsoft Corporation; Microsoft SQL Server; Microsoft corporation; All Rights Reserved http://www.microsoft.com/sql/support/default.asp:1"
We have a windows service running on our app server that deploys a package that executes other packages using execute package task. This package and rest of the packages are in the same folder at the same level under integration services
catalog. The package fails to execute with the above said error.
Execute package task is configured to run in 'in-process' mode. Changing delay validation to true/false in child packages didn't help.
ironically if the package is deployed using a console application from the app server the package gets executed just fine. I checked permissions, everything seem fine.
Is there anyway to get details of this error to understand the problem better? I am looking at reports > standard reports > all executions.
    Thanks.

As it turns out, the 63bit ExecPackageTask.dll was not found under "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\DTS\Binn". Installing "SQL Server Data Tools" installed only 32 bit version of the component under "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL
    Server\110\DTS\Binn".
Is there a way to get 64bit version of this component without installing "Integration Services" (to avoid possible license issues)?
    Hi Jayakarthiks,
To make use of the 64-bit ExecPackageTask.dll, you also need the 64-bit SSIS runtime and 64-bit DTExec utility tool. To obtain the 64-bit SSIS runtime and tools, you have to install the SQL Server Integration Services service from your SQL Server 2012 install
    media.

  • Package Calling Error

    Hi frndz,
In my scenario I am calling a custom package inside another custom package and there is one issue in calling package. When there is a modification in inner package , the issue occurs..
    ISSUE:
    PL/SQL ERROR:
ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called.
    CAUSE:
The issue arises when there is a modification in inner package.

Check if the inner package spec and body are in a Valid state. You can use the following SQL :
    select object_name,object_type,status from all_objects where object_name like '%<YOUR_PACKAGE_NAME>%' and object_type like '%PACKAGE%'
If the state of the spec or the body is INVALID, then correct the errors and recompile and try again.
In case if it is VALID then drop the inner package and create it again and it should work.

  • Interface Package CHECK

    I expose my problem.
I create a specifical hierarchical structure package on CRM7 for test Interface Package Check.
This is a representation of my hierarchical structure package :
                                                                P1 (Structural Package)
P1_1 (main package)                  P1_2 (main package)
P1_1_1 (Normal package)                       P1_1_2 (Normal package)
(I1 interface package with                         (use I1)
            Data element E1)                                       Use E1 and E2 in a Structure S1
         Define Data element E1 et E2                       Use E1 and E2 in a program Prg1
When I activate my structure S1 I have the error of use E2. It's OK.
When I use extended check code with program Prg1 I haven't error on use E2.
When I use a standard element  in my program and I use extended check code I have an error on use the standard element when I don't add the package interface where standard element is declared.
Have you any idea which explain the difference on check with my specific data element and with standard data element ?
    Thanks for your response.

    Hi,
first of all, you have to check if th ystem-wide package check is switched on. Check in transaction SM30, maintenance view PAKPARAM_V. GLOBAL_SWITCH must be equal to 'R3ENTERPRISE'.
I don't understand the behaviour you describe. The package error must be reported either for both development objects in the consumer package or not at all.

    Stefan

  • SLIN - Package Check

    Hi
I am getting error in Extended Syntax Check which is displayed below.
Object PROG Z_IUSERS_ACC has insufficient authorization to use objects
    FUNC FIMA_DAYS_AND_MONTHS_AND_YEARS from package FIMA
    Z_IUSERS_ACC in package Z_ABAP
    FIMA_DAYS_AND_MONTHS_AND_YEARS in package FIMA
Package Z_ABAP does not have sufficient use access
Although my program is working fine and the FM also is returning me correct values. I just want to know that when prog is migrated to Qual/Prod, Can it cause any trouble?
    Thanks.

    Hi Kapil,
this is because of the Package Checks of package FIMA.
    Take a look at this:
I think there will be no troubles migrating your program to Q/P.

  • Security package specific error occurred when trying to connect to Orchestrator with remote Runbook Designer

When I try to connect to Orchestrator server with Runbook Designer installed on my laptop I get an error saying "A security  package specific error occurred.".
Entry from Designer log file is below. I've tried to set error level to 3 and 7 but got no additional info about the error. I'm unable to find any details of the error on server or client side in any logs (Event Log or Orchestrator trace logs).
Connecting to Orchestrator Management Server with local Designer installed on the server works fine.
Orchestrator is installed in AD environment and security groups are properly configured.
    Can anybody help?

I'm having a similar issue with one of our runbook servers. i cannot deploy any IPs to it. I get the error "A security package specific error occurred". I can open the designer on the runbook server, connect to the management server, and look at
runbooks. They wont run on the server without the IPs though, but it doesnt seem like a connection issue. i have also tried uninstalling/re-installing the runbook server and i get the same.
Has anybody else run into this?
    Edit:
Heres an error fromthe event log:
The Kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the server <Service Account>. The target name used was HOST/server.domain.domain.com. This indicates that the target server failed to decrypt the ticket provided by the client. This can
occur when the target server principal name (SPN) is registered on an account other than the account the target service is using. Please ensure that the target SPN is registered on, and only registered on, the account used by the server. This error can also
happen when the target service is using a different password for the target service account than what the Kerberos Key Distribution Center (KDC) has for the target service account. Please ensure that the service on the server and the KDC are both updated to
use the current password. If the server name is not fully qualified, and the target domain (domain.domain.COM) is different from the client domain (domain.domain.COM), check if there are identically named server accounts in these two domains, or use the fully-qualified
    name to identify the server.
So maybe I was just given the wrong account.
