Datagrid visible only if data is there

I would like to make datagrid visible only if my search is bringing any data for it..if there is no data after search query, I don't want my datagrid to be displayed as empty datagrid. Can somebody help please?

when I am getting the search event result I am storing that in one XML var like this:

as XML;modelLocator.scacResult = _scacResult; // modelLocator.scacResult is accessible from other components too..
and then in mxml where I want to control datagrid display
I am writing a code like:

Once I will get the length, I will put a condition like if length greater than 0, display grid else pop up "no data found".

I am also facing the same problem. I maintained the RFC destinations in R/3 properly. I did Test Connection and for RFC destination its working fine. I maintained proper values in SLDAPICUST. When I run SLDCHECK I got the following error.
Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS
Retrieving data from the SLD server...
Function call returned exception code 4
=> Check whether the SLD is running!
Summary: Connection to SLD does not work
=> Check SLD function and configurations
Otherwise access to XI Profile works fine. But then when I run SPROXY I am getting the same message No Connection to Integration Builder (only local data visible)
I also checked the following report =>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE (3rd option) its giving informational message Integration Builder data not understood, for the 4th report ==>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION, it is also showing the same above information message.

I had the same problem and I have already solved it.
You have just to apply the following sap notes :
1232805 - Saint: Queue calculation for an add-on with CRT´s fail.
769120 - Support Package for APPINT 200_620
The first one is to update tha SPAM/SAINT to v 30 and the second one allow you use the pi/xi objects on application system.
There is another sap note 689847, but you just apply this if the sap notes above described did not work.

Mail to RFC is there way to make mail to READ only when data sent to RFC

Hi friends ,
 My scenario is Mail to RFC . I am reading mails marking as read and sent to RFC .
 Due to this , If for eg 400 mails comes , xi is reading all mails correctly but sometimes inbound queue getting stuck so , unable to send data to RFC .
 Because of that many mails which read cannot able to send data , everything stuck in InBound Queue.
 Can any body explain how to resolve this issue ?
 If there way to mark mail as read only when data uploded to RFC ?
 Any suggestions please!

Even we did this scenario for one of our clients,but in our case mails were getting deleted by itself once processed.And those that did not get processed due to some reason remained in the mail box.

SPROXY: No connection to Integration Builder (only local data visible)

When I try to access the transaction SPROXY I get the message "No connection to Integration Builder (only local data visible)".
I already did the configuration steps described in the XI Configuration Guide, section 8: Connecting Business Systems with an Integration Engine to the Central Integration Server. I also checked that the parameters in the Exchange Profile were correct.
Transaction SLDCHECK is working ok. The TCP/IP connections SAPSLDAPI & LCRSAPRFC work OK when I do Test Connection.
In transaction SPROXY, when I do Connection Test the first 2 steps work fine, but I get an error on the last two:
1. The address of the Integration Builder must be stored in the R/3
     System
     =>Check/maintain with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS
Result: OK: Address maintained
2. The HTTP connection of the R/3 application server must function
correctly
=>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_HTTP_COMMUNICATION
Result: HTTP communication functioning
The following 2 steps return an error:
3. The Integration Builder server must be running correctly
=>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE
Result: Integration Builder data not understood
4. Proxy generation must correctly interpret the data of the
Integration Builder
==>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION
Result: Integration Builder data not understood
I've been looking in the forums and weblogs but haven't been able to figure out what could be wrong with my system.   Can someone please help?

Check Global Configuration data in R3 using TC : SXMB_ADM.
You need to set values..Role of Business System : Application System and Corresponding Integration server details.
Also check your HTTP RFC connection : INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI

Make sure that you are having the following RFC's successful from your ECC/BW system towards your XI Integration Builder.
1) LCRSAPRFC. - type T
2) SAPSLDAPI - type T
3) PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER - type H
Make sure that settings are done in SLDAPICUST tcode.
Check whether the ICM is running & HTTP port is active in SMICM.

For this when I tried to create rfcu2019s type G and H in the IDES system, in that both rfcu2019s when testing it is giving the following msg.

Is anything I need to do before connecting to RFCu2019s type G and H.

I too had same problem, below are the things taken care and finally fixed.
1. SLDAPICUST settings pointing to SLD system & port
2. Create SAPSLDAPI & LCRSAPRFC RFCs pointing to program ID created with SLD and XI system using VA (JCo RFC provider)
3. Set the require settings with RZ70 pointing to XI system name & HTTP port
4.Create ABAP based HTTP RFC pointing to Target system (XI system ) with HTTP port (smicm-goto-services) and path prefix with "/sap/xi/engine?type=entry" (without quotes). Ensure this RFC is existing at both the ends (source & target).
5. If incase all ready the Technical System & Business existing at SLD for your business system, you may require to remove them and add them back/manually.
Please let me know if any more info require.

Why there is no datatype which only stores date (without time part)

Is there any specific reason for not having a data type which only stores date (without time part) in ORACLE - I am asking this because DATE (without time) is a very frequently used data type in any application.

Yes, many application need to have fields on the screen that just show a date, such as a date of birth as you say, but that's simply a display issue, and any application interface will allow for a date format to be specified for displaying the data from the database, so in terms of such "Date only" dates, you would simply use a format mask that ignores the time portion.
There's absolutely no issue with the fact that it's just a single datatype... it causes no problems... it's perfectly flexible at being used for just dates or for dates and times... so why such a concern?

Actually my problem is that when a data service is being processed, the form where the info will be displayed is disabled. What i want is for the form to only be visible when the data service has ended it's process, and the form is enabled. So i thought i might put a condition on the visible option that says it's only visible once, the form is enabled, and i can't figure out how to do that.
Do you know if it can be done, and if yes how?

How to only migrate data from SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 11?

According to our requirement, We need to only migrate data from a SQL Server database to an existed
Oracle database user.
1) I tried to do it with SQL Developer 3.0.04 Migration Wizard, But find an issue.
My SQL Server database name is SCDS41P2, and my Oracle database user name is CDS41P2;
When I used SQL Developer to do offline move data by Migration Wizard, I found all oracle user
name in movedata files which gotten by run Migration Wizard
is dbo_SCDS41P2. If the Oracle user name is not the same as my existed Oracle user name,
the data can't be moved to my existed Oracle user when I run oracle_ctl.bat in command line window.
So I had to modify the Oracle user name in all movedata files, but it's difficult to modify them because there are many tables in
databases. So could you please tell me how to get the movedata files which the oracle user name in them is my
expected Oracle user name?
2) I also tried to use the 'copy to Oracle' function to copy the SQL Server database tables data
to the existed Oracle database user. When clicked 'copy to Oracle', I selected 'Include Data' and 'Replace' option
But I found some tables can't be copied, the error info is as below:
Table SPSSCMOR_CONTROLTABLE Failed. Message: ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object
Could you please tell me how to deal with this kind of error?

Thanks for you replying. But the 'copy to oracle' function still can't be work well. I will give some info about the table. I also search 'SPSSCMOR_CONTROLTABLE' in the target schema, and only find one object. So why say 'name is already used by an existing object'? Could you please give me some advice? Thanks!

There are two separate calendars on ipad (ios 7.1) one for icloud, one fo exchange. I have tried a couple of calendar apps and while they do a good job of showing the events in the app - they don't push (synch) back to iCloud. Any thoughts on an app that will take my ipad calendars and synch them to a single icloud calendar/account?

One of the problems that comes with these tricks for variable-rate acquisition is being able to match up sample data with the time that it was sampled.
If you weren't using either of E-series board's counters, there is a nifty solution to this! You'll be using 1 of the counters to generate the variable-rate sampling clock. You can then use the 2nd counter to perform a buffered period measurement on the output of the 1st counter. This gives you a hw-timed measurement of every sampling interval. You would need to keep track of a cumulative sum of these periods to generate a hw-accurate timestamp value for each sample.
Note: the very first buffered period measurement is the time from starting the 2nd counter until the first active edge from the 1st. For your app, you should ignore it.

ERPi Loading only updated data from GL

We are sseing the Pros and Cons of using ERPi.
I read a doc erpi_admin_11121501.pdf, in which the appendix D talks about loading data and metadat from any source.
So my queries are
1. I will have a source mapping to the EBS suite and load the metadata and data directly from GL to Hyperion application. This is the normal process followed which has drill back and write back facilities.
2. I would also like to have a flat file as a source for adhoc loadings. Like, if i want to load only particular data which got updated in GL and not the entire data.
Will this be accomplished?
Having two source mappings.
Would like to know the Pros and Cons of doing so

Or is there any method to load only updated values using the GL(EBS system) as source.
