HT1688 I have an Iphone 3gs. When I go to Settings, then General, then Cellular, only Cellular Data and Enable 3G appear. There is no "Roaming"option to turn on or off. When I first started using the phone there was and I turned it off. What can I do?

My iphone 4s has the Cellular Data and Data Roaming but does NOT have the option of ROAMING Voice&Data. Do you know how to enable it?

The iPhone6 I purchased 9/23/2014 went dead. Went to use the phone this afternoon and nothing. Tried turning the phone off/on, nothing. Tried rebooting phone by pressing the home and power button's while the phone was connected to power, nothing. Can't believe that the phone battery is dead or that the phone is fried after only six (6) months of usage. Any suggestions (hopefully other than purchasing a new phone) is appreciated.
Try the things in this Apple article (some of the which you may have already done). If none of them work go to an Apple Store if there is one in your area. Or contact Apple via the website for support help. I have AppleTV and Ipad2 running VJay app to my TV over a private cisco router disabled firewall but I keep loosing the video on my TV after a few minutes what can I do?
I also get this problem on my iPad, so probably not related to the AppleTV. On the iPad I restarted Airport Extreme this time, and then the iPad saw my Home Sharing.
So to recap, restarting the router or Airport Express allowed the iPad and AppleTV to see Home Sharing. Restarting AppleTV also allows AppleTV to see Home Sharing.
So does anyone have any idea?

This is the second major problem I have had with this phone (first was the SIM card issue where I had no service because the software of the phone wouldn't read the SIM card, has been fixed by an update I downloaded in December).
I really would like to know what my options are, and if I am eligible to get a new phone. This has been by far the worst phone I have ever experienced and am disappointed that I am forced into a two year contract with a phone that has consistently failed me. I am a college kid who is going through job/phone interviews and it is very important that I can rely on my personal phone.callahan.214,
If the home and back buttons are not working it has to be difficult to use the phone. Let's get that device working. Back up your phone and complete a reset: http://vz.to/1uBz20R . I know this has been a briefly discussed issue a few years ago. I also have seen on other forums that people reply with sarcasm and disbelief. I love my iPhone 4; however, I get screaming headaches after using it for any length of time (obviously worsens the longer the phone call). Whatever pocket I carry it in (now no longer do) I would experience muscular pain. I didn't realise it was the phone until whenever I got a pain, my hand would land right on the phone. I had a heachache issue with my old non, smart phone LG when talking on it for over 20 mins. Has anyone discovered a solution or know of a worthwhile case that will stop the issue? Anyone know what the actual problem is? I would like to keep using it, or a different smart phone if it ends this issue. Thanks in advance.
I have these headaches too after a week of having my 4s phone. I tested it myself with a 3-axis RF field strength meter and its really crazy - when the phone rings or you access email, the field goes crazy- about 100 times the normal level- all this is to say is that we're getting an awful dose or radiation. Of course, I also tested my old phone which is actually supposed to have one of the lowest radiation and an old flipphone but it was even higher than the 4S! I give up. I think all the bad stuff gets tucked away in the marketing. Anyway, I didn't get a doctrate for nothing- I love my iphone but I'm returning it and getting something else or using skype on the itouch or something-- if that doesn't work, its back to the dark ages.

My Iphone 4 is not ringing and the phone is not muted or water damage! What can I do?
My phone is not ringing and everything is on and I have checked the settings! I have noticed that when I slide the side button the bell is not showing up! Have I deactivated something?
Update to IOS 6 seems to have switched the mute key and volume ringers off completely

my iphone on the side is showing mute not on, using the assistive touch ( the white button that appears on your home screen, go to device and switch the mute key to the opposite. on my phone mute on (bell with cross through it, opposite to phone), my phone now rings. -
My iphone 4s will not turn on, It was working properly and then I noticed the battery was at 1% I then proceeded to charge my phone like normal but nothing happened. The phone was unable to turn back on it's been two hours I already, tried to reset but nothing works. I tried different chargers, my ihome nothing is working.

I had a problem with my iPod, so because of that apple gave me a new one. So i want to get all my infomation back using the bachup of icloud, but when i put in the iPod use a backup of icloud it said that there is no backup and in iTunes didn´t apear. What can i do ?
That's the problem. You can't restore a device to a backup made on a device that was running a higher iOS version than the device being restored. You'll first have to update the replacement to iOS 6, then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings, go back through the setup screens again and when given the option select Restore From iCloud Backup. Your backup should now be available to restore to.

How can i fix this?
Go to the songs view sorted as Album by Artist. Select, for example, the songs of artists whose names begin A-E. Right-click and click consolidate files. Assuming this group consolidate without error move on to another group, say F-J. If there is an error divide the original group into smaller chunks until you can isolate which tracks are causing a problem.

I am very disappointed with the battery life I am getting out of my Iphone 5S 64G. I charge it every night, and would be lucky to make 15 to 20 minutes of calls during the day and yet I am lucky to get much more than 12 hours of life out of the battery.
I have to make a conscious decision not to use it to avoid it running out on me. I had it back to the Apple Store last week and they ran diagnostic checks on ot and said that the hardware was within specs.
They replaced the software as it was showing that Springboard had crashed on several occasions. The other problem I was complaining about was that at least 2 or 3 times a day, the phone would refuse to wake up when I hit the home button. It would take sometimes up to a minute of pressing the button before anything would light up. The guy at the Apple store said that this was caused by Springboard crashing and that this would also be what is reducing the battery life.
I did notice that after they replaced the software, the waking up problem appeared fixed for a few days, but the battery life had not improved. Now the waking up problem is starting to return.
It is very annoying and somewhat embarrassing when you are with a client and go to make a call and your shiny flashy new Iphone 5 won't even light up. Especially when you have to borrow your clients Nokia....My best bet would be to restore the phone. Back it up to itunes, and then reset it Factory settings. This way, any corrupt software will be removed, and you can start fresh. Make sure you back it up first. By the sounds of it, you are using the phone for business and probably need the data from it. ever since I upgraded to ios 7, my battery life is very short. I do not use the ipad all that much and have to charge it twice as much as before. I have been on the phone to Apple 3 times and turned off a number of things that I am not using and now power it off more regularly but still not happy with battery life. It is less than a year old and as I said, I don' t use it all that much

i am having the same problem with the 4s i purchased from riyadh .You can't. FaceTime has been permanently removed from your phone, there is no way to add it back. Next time, buy your phone in India.
