Hi Gurus
Does anyone has data load sequence document template?
we are implementing new BW and now need to decide about data laod sequence which will be helpful to us for building process chain.
I would appreciate if anyone can send me data loading sequence template , so that I can gather the requirements and make it ready for process chain build.

This is totally dependent on your requirement.
Broadly, load master data before transaction data.
Apply attribute change run and hierarchy change run at the end of master data load.
Likewise, for transaction data:
remove the index before load and build after the load.
Aggregate rool up job after data load.
As I said, it depends on organization and other jobs that run in your BW system, system maintenance cycle, system downtime, etc.

I have lot of sequences and I want to create Test Sequence Documentation in HTML format using Command Line automatically, is there a way to automate this task using .bat file or using C# .Net

If you aren't able to figure out how to call a C++ DLL in .net then there may be another option. Unfortunately I don't know how to do this off the top of my head and I don't have an example.
The other option would be to change docgen.seq a little bit to the dialog doesn't display and you just hardcode the options. Then you can use a command line to call testexec.exe: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370052K-01/tsfundamentals/infotopics/startup_opt/

App-V 5.0 Sequencing Office 2010 - Cannot verify the License for this Application KMS

i already found some Topics about my Problem, but None of the Solutions i have found, help in my case. I hope someone can help...
I Sequenced Office 2010 Professional Plus x86 on an App-V 5.0 Sequencer Client (x64) and streamed it to Windows 7 x64 and Windows Server 2012. While i was sequencing, i followed the Articles at

msiexec/i OffVirt.msi ADDLOCAL=Click2runMapi,Click2runOWSSupp,Click2runWDS,OSpp,OSpp_Core PROPLUS=1
In the sequencing Process anything ist working fine, i can start Word, Excel... and Office is activated. When i publish the Application and stream to the Client or RDS, i get the Error message in the Screenshot.
I also tried to create a new Package and type in the KMS Client Key directly to Office, didnt work. In a third Sequencing Process (also new Sequence) i tried with an another Script what i have found: msiexec /i OffVirt.msi PROPLUS=1 KMSSERVICENAME=”SERVERNAME”
KMSSERVICEPORT=1688

I am having this same exact issue; however, I have done everything in the App-V 5.0 Sequencing document, and I have enabled Set-AppVClientConfiguration -EnablePackageScripts 1.
The sequencer is on a Win 7 32-bit machine, so I used the following:
msiexec
/i OffVirt.msi ADDLOCAL=OSpp,OSpp_Core PROPLUS=1
KMS is registered in DNS, so I shouldn't have to specify KMS.
As soon as I start Office on a machine, setup screen comes up briefly, and then I see the:
"Microsoft Office cannot verify the license for this application. A repair attempt failed or was canceled by the user. The application will now shut down."
I would use the package accelerator; however, it's a new Pro Plus 2010 build, and it says 12 files are missing from the install (files like the actual OffVirt.msi and manifest files).
This is getting a little frustrating, as I've already tried the package 4 different times. I also tried this version:
msiexec/i OffVirt.msi ADDLOCAL=Click2runMapi,Click2runOWSSupp,Click2runWDS,OSpp,OSpp_Core PROPLUS=1
I am also using the latest SP2 client, Sequencer, and then the AppV 5.0 SP1 server is using the latest hotfix 4 which was released in April 2014.

Broken display/video mirroring

My powerbook G4 took a tumble and now the display screen is no longer working, although everything else still seems fine. When I connect it to an external monitor screen spanning works but there is obviously little I can do. I was wondering if there were some sort of key command that could launch video mirroring, and make my powerbook useful again. Thanks.

There had been a limited-use keyboard command that worked
with some Titanium PowerBooks, to toggle between Mirror, &
expanded/desktop mode. Not sure if that would do it for yours.
The 'Magical Macintosh Key Sequences' document in pdf shows
this as being the combination of cmd-F1 to toggle between video
mirroring and extended desktop mode (works on Ti Powerbooks)

There may be a terminal or command line in single-user able to
make the computer do this on each startup; which appears to
be the preferred idea given the circumstances at hand, since
a system reset or PMU reset would revert to default settings.
If the original screen is still attached to the body of the PB:
Try booting with the lid closed, using an external keyboard
and mouse. That will deactivate the internal LCD all the way,
and should let you display normally on the external monitor.
If that doesn't work, try booting without the CRT attached until
OS X is booted all the way, then plug in the external monitor.
It should automatically use it as the main display.
There should be a command line or other way to keep the
computer in the mode you desire after shut-downs, etc...

Are the shortcuts on FCE the same as FCP?

I'm getting a bella professional keyboard with color-coded short cut keys for Final Cut Pro but will be using Final Cut Express until I can afford a copy of Pro.
Are the shortcut keys the same from one version to the next?

If all the shortcuts in both are not exactly the same, I am sure many of them will be. First of all try the basic ones that most computer programmes share. For example, Command + N will open a new sequence/document, and Command + S will save a project in both versions.

App-V sequenced Office applications Doesn't open/recognize Office documents by default

Clients are using sequenced MS Office and everytime they want to open a save word doc for example they have to open it through opening a MS Word Document.
By default it doesn't show with a word icon neither. if not they shall open it through "open with" and selecting Application Virtualisation Client which would also bring up "Choose Application" each time they wanna open it.
is there any way you can open it and recognize with the right Office App Icon by default.

If file types are not associated then there's either something wrong with the package or how it's been published.
App-V 4.6 will only provide the behaviour you've described. Fix the FTA issues to improve the user experience.

"Document type" in access sequence not working in free goods

Dear All,
our requirement is to provide free goods with the main items in portal.
for this i defined access sequence 1.Customer/Material and 2. SalesOrg/Documnet Type/Material.
for access sequence Customer/Material it's working fine but when i use SalesOrg/Documnet Type/Material it's not working.
problem is that when i use Document type in access sequence it's not working.
pls help.

What do you mean with "Access Sequence"?
In CRM 7.0 EHP1 there is a generic framework-feature available which allows the defininition of the tab-order.

Different sequence of search results in different environments with same set of documents

I am using Sharepoint 2013 Foundation version.
I have set up 2 environments (say environment A and environment B) with the same Window baseline and Sharepoint server farm setup. The similar set of documents have been uploaded to both environments. With input of exactly the same search string at the search
field and enter button pressed, the sequences of entries shown on search result page are different in these 2 environments.
In particular, there is a document 'Monthly Newsletter.pdf' uploaded in both environments. When I type 'Monthly Newsletter' in search field and press enter, this document appears as the first entry in the search result in environment A, but this same document
appears as the 8th entry in the search result in environment B.
May I know the reason? Thanks a lot for advice!

There are a lot of factors that go into computing the "relevance" of any one document. One factor is "closeness". So one question would be how identical are the two environments? Same number of site collections? Are the
documents at the same depth? (sites -> subsites -> libraries -> folders) Are the libraries of the same type, using the same content types and the same metadata> In both cases are you searching from
the same site and are the documents at the same depth?
Ranking is also impacted by past searches. The more people who have clicked through to the document, the higher it will be ranked in the future.
If the two environments are identical, and are only being used for testing, Reset the Indexes and do a new Full Crawl and then test.

Sequence value changes while i view the document

I m using jdev 11.1.1.5
I had created a sequence for GlHdEO.GlJrnlNo
I had used this code for the sequence in impl method of that entity object

When i save this document and next time while i run the document in my browser component the value had been changed

OS: Windows 2003
We are facing the problem while executing the ARPLABIM - Bank Statement Import program, 'Document Sequence Information Does not Exist for Bank Account'.
We have already reviewed Oracle Metalink Document: Document Sequence Information Does not Exist for Bank Account: Doc ID: Note:147773.1.

There are only two options:
1. Setup document Sequence. OR
2. Change the profile either the user level who runs this program (assuming a batch user name) or at the resp or application level. Not necessarily at the site level.

Sequence of Document Numbers

Hi,
I have recently noticed that the numbering sequence of the SAP document numbers which appear after an invoice is entered have not followed a numerical sequence.
I notice them ascending over time but then the numbers just recently went down nine instead of going up one from 559 to 550?....I expected it to go to 560 ....
If this makes sense to anyone...Can you please shed some light on this for me... and you please tell me what process i can follow to find out what may have caused this?

Someone would have manually set the current number to 549, hence system picked up the next number 550.
Execute T code SNRO, enter RF_BELEG in Object field and click on 'Number ranges' button. Enter your company code and from the menu on top choose Goto -> Change documents (or press F8) to see changes to your number ranges.

PO Document Sequencing

Hi
Can anyone please validate if the PO Document Sequence Number is at OU Level or SOB Level.
Can we have different PO Types i.e. A1 , A2 , A3 which can be standard only. I understand that in PO we have standard Order Type but can we have a workaround by which we can create different PO Types to meet the Doc sequencing number based on customers.
We are on 11.5.10.2.

PO Document Sequence Number is at OU Level ... Through oracle standard feature, you can't define different sequence (Purchasing Options --> Document Numbering) for document type for different PO type (BPA/CPA/PPO etc..).. i.e. BPA --> b1, b2, ..., CPA --> c1,c2,...
As a work around/alternative you can go for customization (but not advisable at all :) )

SAP Material Document Sequence is Decreasing

Dear all,
My Name is Angga, and i have problem with the sequence of GR Doc and Invoice DOC.
When i execute MIGO_GR then i see on tab Purchase Order History , My SAP GR Document sequence is decreasing :
First i do MIGO_GR with movement type 101 , and i continue to Reverse PO with movement type 102.
The result is :
MVT   |   Material                                 |
102     |   5000373982                         |
101     |   5000373996                         |
as you can see... the reverse po document is smaller than the create GR document...
why is that happen ? and how to solve it ?

I've been comtemplating for quite some time now on this problem
regarding this 3 columns DOC_SEQUENCE_ID, DOC_SEQUENCE_VALUE, DOC_CATEGORY_CODE
let's say i've the following
1. Create Document Sequence
Application>Document>Define
2. Assign Document Sequence to a Category.
Application>Document>Assign
My problem now is how to kick off and populate the following columns
DOC_SEQUENCE_ID, DOC_SEQUENCE_VALUE, DOC_CATEGORY_CODE
if may i ask using emp table of dept table. If i'm going to do a custom program
what would be script for this?
i did take a peek on the invoice form but i'm getting hard time understanding it.

in our custom program there is a provision to use the following columns
DOC_SEQUENCE_ID, DOC_SEQUENCE_VALUE, DOC_CATEGORY_CODE .
now my problem is the script or function to populate the
DOC_SEQUENCE_ID, DOC_SEQUENCE_VALUE. i'm reading the apiimptb.pls
specifically the FUNCTION get_doc_sequence but it's too complex is there
an easier script for this...
